Ordering prints of photos that were downloaded from the internet

Hey I'm new here and I wanted to order prints of a bunch of photos in my iphoto library that were not taken with my camera. I saved pictures and screenshots of different bands that I got online to my library and wanted to print them out so I could put them in my room. So will these pictures come out okay? Any advice? Like what size print I should order or just anything else you might find helpful.

That all depends on the pixel dimensions of the pictures you downloaded and he size of prints you want - Apple will give you a warning if you are likely to have a quality problem - your choice then is to order a smaller print or have poorer quality for your print - the larger the pixel size of the original digital photo to the better
The minimum size for prints with no warnings is 150 dpi
4 x 3 prints - 600 x 450 pixels
4 x 6 prints - 600 x 900 pixels
5 x 7 prints - 750 x 1050 pixels

How to delet photos that were downloaded from the computer?

Resync the iPad with the computer, but before doing so, click on the device once it is hooked up to iTunes. You will see the Device Profile to the right with several tabs - Photos being one of them. Select the Photos tab, and either uncheck the Sync Photos box at the top (if you don't want any of the photos to be on your device), or uncheck the selected photos you no longer want to sync.

How can I get rid of photos that were downloaded from my computer?  I need to free up space on my iPad

Assuming that you synced the photos from iTunes - or whatever downloaded means - you must use iTunes again in order to remove the songs from the iPad. You have to uncheck the albums in the photos folder that you sync from in the Photos tab of iTunes and follow that with a sync.

How do I remove photos that were downloaded from my laptop to my phone?

You sync with the computer again using iTunes but using the instructions quoted below from https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201313
To delete synced photos and videos from your device
In iTunes, click the Device button in the upper right corner. (If viewing the iTunes Store, click the Library button in the upper-right corner first.)
Click the Photos tab in the resulting window.
Choose "Selected albums" and deselect the albums or collections you want to delete.
Note: To delete all synced photos, deselect "Sync Photos from" and, when asked, click "Remove photos."
    Click Apply.

  • HT1311 To create a new apple ID, if I sign out of the current Apple ID account, and then sign in with a newly created account, will I lose any songs or apps on my phone or computer that were downloaded from the old apple ID?

To create a new apple ID, if I sign out of the current Apple ID account, and then sign in with a newly created account, will I lose any songs or apps on my Iphone and Macbook Pro computer that were downloaded from the old apple ID?

No, you will not loose anything.  However, if you ever need to update any of that previously purchased content, or re-download it, you will have to use the older AppleID.  Purchases are permanently tied to the AppleID you use when making the purchase.

  • HT201376 If I do a system restore, will I lose Photoshop  etc? They were downloaded from the internet so I don't have a disk.

I would like to do a system restore on my MacBook Pro but I do not want to lose Photoshop Elements, etc. Can I put them on my external hard drive? Also, will they be deleted from the computer or no?

Always make a backup of your content before reinstalling the operating system so reduce the chance of losing content.
If you do a simple reinstall of Mac OS X, and do not do a clean or erase install, you should not lose content.  All you do is reinstall the operating system itself.  But, again, make a backup as a protection.

  • I am trying to attach photos in an e-mail (Gmail), however I can't access yesterday's or todays photos which were downloaded from the iphone to iphoto, and added to a new album. I can access all photos from all days previous to yesterday. Why? I

I am not able to access today's or yesterday's photos in the Attachment box when trying to e-mail photos using Gmail. I am using a new Mac Book Pro, photos from my iPhone, and download to iPhoto. All photos previous to yesterday are accessible. This is a recurring issue. Any help here?

The photos is question don't show up in the Last Import smart album?
In the Event mode set View ➙ Sort Events ➙ By Date ➙ Descending.  That way the newest Events will be at the top of the window.  Do you see the photos in the last couple of events?
If no to all of the above try the following:
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down to open the First Aid window. Be sure to follow the circled recommendation in the screenshot.
    2 - run Option #4, Rebuild Database.

  • HT4236 There HAS to be a way to get photos that were synced from the computer on to the iPad OFF of the iPad in a different way than having to email each individual photo back to oneself. And you can't delete them either, using up vital storage

My Ipad2 has photos synced from my main computer on it, taking up vital storage.  I cannot remove them at all, and the folks at the Genius Bar can't help either.  Apparently there is no way to remove them unless they were originally taken by the Ipad2 camera.  And the only way you can get copies of those photos back on to the computer or another device is to individually email EACH photograph.
There has to be a way to remove these pics to free up the storage.
I almost was unable to load the new operating system because of the amount of photos on the iPad,which ended up on the iPad as a mistake in the first place during an early syncing when it was first purchased.
This is a HUGE glitch in the system.  If you know otherwise, please advise!

  • How do I disable the feature that asks, "...is an application that was downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?" I get this message every time I double-click to unpack a zip file.

I am using Firefox 6.0 (I know it's an older version, but I am a doctoral student at a university that is whose system is, at this time, only compatible with this version) on an Intel Mac.

If using a mouse, you can right click on the application installer this will give you an "Open with" popup and you can chooes to open the application installer using the standard installer.
Another method to do the same exact thing is to hold the Control key while left clicking on the Application installer will give you the exact same popup menu.

  • Why can't I edit photos that I saved from the internet?

I'm completely new to this, so dumb it down as much as is possible. I am working on setting up a webpage and have had to manually go into the client's old web page and save any images on there. Now when I open them up in photoshop, it won't let me edit them, for some reason or another.
I can't cut them out of a background, change the colors, add text or do anything to change the layer. All the layers are locked!!!
Am I missing something? Do I need to save it as a certain file type? It keeps telling me to rasterize it, but 1. I don't know what that is and 2. when I go to Layer>Rasterize, it doesn't work anyway.
Skip the part where you make fun of me because I'm sure this is a real dummy mistake, and just get to the part where you tell me how to fix it!
    I'm working with CS4 versions.
    Thanks!
    Sara

What file-format and color-mode are those images?

  • Is there any way to retrieve photos that were put in the trash can and then it was emptied?  Or is there a way to move photos from an imovie to iphoto?

Is there any way to retrieve photos that were put in the trash can and then it was emptied?  Or is there a way to move photos from an imovie to iphoto?

If you've emptied the trash, ehtn no. However if you have a backup, like Time Machine, or a recent backup copy of your photo library you could recover the photos from the trash.
The answer to getting a snapshot form iMovie depends on what version you have.
I should add it technically may be possible to recover the emptied trash, but if you really want to do that you would need to download a utility software that can attempt to recover deleted files. Do it soon before you start writing more data to that disk. At the moment I don't have a recommendation for such a program. Maybe someone else out there will offer suggestion.

  • Ow do i delete pic from ipad that were downloaded from computer, ow do i delete pic from ipad that were downloaded from computer

How do I delete photos from ipad that were downloaded from computer during a sync?

Only photos taken with the iPad, copied onto it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites etc can be deleted directly on the iPad - either via the trashcan icon in the top right corner if viewing the photo in full screen, or via the icon of the box with the arrow coming out of it in thumbnail view.
Photos that were synced from your computer are deleted by moving/removing/de-selecting them from where they were synced from and then re-syncing.
