Ordering wizard is broken! No Field for "company name".

Trying to ship to a business because i will not be home to sign for the delivery, it does not create a "company name" field but will not let me continue until i enter "company name"
Is there a fix for this?

I had the same problem. I just put my full name in the FIRST field, company name in the LAST field & left it on Ship to Residence.

In a sales order, entering the cost center field for line items

In a sales order, the cost center field for the tab 'account assignment' of line items is suppressed. Is there any possibilities to open the cost center field(for line items)?

How to remove mandatory field for Last Name in Personal Data Editing Screen

CUrrently we are using BP_ ERP5ESS1.31 SP5 & SAP_ESS 603 SP5.
All my ESS Services are Displaying fine and working from Portal.I am having the requirement like I need to make Last Name as Non-Mandatory field in Personal Data. While Editing the PD Screen, there i will find the * mark for Last Name filed, i checked through the Global Personalization Make as Mandatory is Not Personalized its showing, i think its defualt prpoerty,so i am unable make any changes from Portal w.r.t Global Personalization.
I checked in SPRO-- Personal Admin> Custmomizing User Interfaces>Change Screen Modifications, there i find the respective Module pool for those Infotypes and country Specific..
I cheked forModulePool MP000200--> P0002 and Variable Key-40(For India) P0002 - NACHIN -- LastName only OF Radio Button is Selected all other Rado buttons are not selected.
I Checked in V_T588MFPROPS view there for 0002 Infotype P0002 -- NACHN Mandatory check box is Checked all other check boxes are Unchecked.
How to make that Last Name field as Non-Mandatory in Personal Data Edit Screen, where i need to make the changes.'
Please list out the Steps..Where i need to do the configuration. And i assigned all the required ESS roles on the backend.

Hi,
I don't think supressing through Global Personalization will change the business logic. Within the Business Logic it checks for the mandatory field.
After the changes I guess you need to make the changes accordingly.

Can I use a brand name for Company name on the appstore?

Hi!
Is it possible (allowed) to use a brand name instead of a Company name on the appstore?
We are a small IT company specializing in IT support. However, we have created a brand of iPhone apps for kids as well. We do not want our company name, which is well known and associated with something else in the IT world, to show up in the appstore. At least not as owner of the app (I guess app developer would be ok). Can we instead put in the "brand name" of our line of iPhone apps?
The company signing the contract with Apple will still be our registered, legal entity. It is just the name above the app name on the Appstore we want to different.

Make up any company name you like, as long as you don't mislead, misrepresent and/or conflict with a copyright holder of record.

Check text field for user name and password

Guys,
Please help me. I have this simple problem...
I want to check if the text field for username and password has value with no POSTBACK.
I got to check that it is null there will be a text that will appear on the page 'Null not allowed'... Can you guide me here.

How to change the first listing for company name in contacts

How do i get the company name to show in the list instead of the persons name.
I can do this with my pc, but my dad only sync's with the cloud & I can't find how to sort showing the company name, ie APPLE instead of John Doe & can't see that he works for Apple unless you select the contact.

That isn't supported on an iPhone. There may be apps that would do this, but not the built-in contacts app. You could, of course, create contact groups on icloud.com for major companies and add the appropriate contacts to these groups, and these groups would sync to your device.

Mandatory field - Header text and Reference field for company code

In transaction code FB60, I want to make header text and reference field mandatory at the company code level.
For one company code , the header text and the reference field should be made mandatory but for the other 8 company codes , those fields should not be mandatory.
if I make the fields mandatory via the document type , then it will be applicable for all the company codes using the document type.

Bug v4.0 - no input field for file name in export dialog

Hello,
I run a query, right click in the result grid and choose "Export". There is no input field to provide a file name. I can only export to the default file.
Version 4.0.0.13 on XP
Edit: Seems to be an issue with the settings (maybe those migrated from 3.2.2). When I install without migrating settings I get the full dialog. I will try some combinations and update this post.
Edit: I installed again without migration my settings. When I set the preferences manually I cannot reproduce the bug. Maybe some bug in the import for the preferences? Maybe it only happens on German XPs.

Changing Sort Order in Smart Album when Looking for Roll Name=Corruption

We've confirmed via testing and from new posters that changing the sort order in a Smart Album who's criteria is to look for a roll name will cause iPhoto to crash and then crash upon launch after that.
So to avoid corrupting your library do not change the sort order of a Smart Album designed to locate rolls.

Rebuilding the library with iPhoto Library Manager recovered the library. However, I don't know if a rebuild via the Control+Option key will do the same.

Ha! I upgraded to iPhoto 6.0.3 and opened the dummy library I had created. (This was the library where the crash on launch kept happening because I had a smart folder looking for rolls and sorted by title or something else other than the default.)
Guess what, it opened just fine! 6.0.3 fixes the crash. Not sure how much it helps people who started new libraries, but at least others won't run into this.

Appending customer field for BAPI_CONTRACT_CREATE

I have created a structure and included it into append structure of EKPO.

     With the parameters ExtensionIn and ExtensionOut, it is possible to
     enhance the interface of a BAPI without modification to achieve the
     automatic processing of customer-specific data.
     The data is passed on in a table. The format of the individual data
     records of this table is determined via the structure BAPIPAREX. This
     structure contains several data record fields (VALUEPART1, VALUEPART2
     etc.) and a field for the name of an auxiliary structure (STRUCTURE).
     Because per data record the data is written piecewise consecutively to
     the data record fields available for the purpose, an auxiliary structure
     is needed for the interpretation of the data.
     In the event that an SAP database table is to be enhanced by additional
     fields, BAPI table extensions are especially suitable as auxiliary
     structures. A BAPI table extension can either be already predefined by

     o   Enhancement of BAPI based on existing SAP database tables

Print Mailing Labels with company name?

I haven't been able to print mailing labels that include the individual's name fields AND company name field above the street address. Any advice? is this even possible?

Thanks for the link- I looked into it and found that in case you've opted to include a company name but there is none for a particular contact, pearLabelizer seems to leave a blank space for that line, which isn't particularly great either. I'll keep playing around with it and let you know if it works.

Syncing Contacts by company Name

When I sync with Outlook 2003 Iphone strips out the data from the "file as" field for company contacts without a personal contact name in Outlook.
Also I have not found a way for iPhone to store/display by company name instead of personal name.
Is this just how it is or am I missing something?

It is kind of a pain, but I set up a seperate Contact Folder for my iPhone and changed the format of contanct information. I put the +Comany Name+ in the First Name Field (you can also use Last Name) and put the Contact Name in the Company Field. This sorts by Company Name. Whrer I have mutiple contacts at a company with direct lines adn seperate email addresses, i simple put a - and the contacts first name following the Comapny Name in the First Name field. Just make sure to set sync folder to iPhone contact folder.

Try this,
->> Open the Pick List(System) PLD and Save as the New PLD.
->> Open the NEw PLD and Create 1 Database Field(for WareHouse Name) in Repetetive Area.
Table -> OWHS - WareHouse
Column -> WhsName - WareHouse Name
Save as and Run the Print Preview.
IF will not print the WareHouse Name in Print.
Do this in PLD.
->> Open your PLD.
--> Ralate to WareHouse Code Field ID in WareHouse Name Field at Content Tab on Properties Window.
