ORDS (2.0.7) - URL Mapping - Names need to be lower case

Using the latest ORDS (2.0.7) - when using settings to setup multiple databases, I have noticed that the the "URL Mapping" rule will not be picked up if the "Name" of the connection is not all lower case.
The "Routing Rule" can be mixed case, but the "Name" of the rule can not.
I found this to be an odd behavior.
Has anyone else come across this?

I have a report in upper case and I need it in lower case. How do I change it to lower case with out typing the report over?

You are using Pages for iPad I take it?
Pages does not have a case conversion function. The one under the Format menu switches Unicode glyphs as part of a style but requires the text to be originally in lowercase.
Go to the App Store and see what you can find as a 3rd party converter. I don't have it but am sure there will be a TextEditor of some description to do the job.

  • Firefox changes my AOL username to CAPS when I tab and I can't sign in because it needs to be lower case

When I go to sign into AOL and enter my username in lower case, as required, as soon as I tab to enter a password, FIREFOX changes the username to all caps and I can't sign in. AOL says it's not their problem, it's a browser issue. I tried clearing histories in FIREFOX and it didn't change the situation.

Make sure that you haven't saved Uppercase and Lowercase versions of that name and password.
    Remove saved Password(s):

  • Cannot Drop table with lower case name

    Hi,
One of my developer created a table through application in oracle 10g R2,
    when I list tables
    select * from tab;
the table name is shown in lower case or Initcap.
I cannot drop or manipulate that table.
How can I drop that table(s)?
    Thanks & Regards,

use the same case what your table has used and put double quotes on both sides for example if your table is lower case use like:
    DROP TABLE "your_table";HTH

    Hi,
I have created on windows service to fetch sharepoint list ad update the list items.
when i run this service in sharepoint server(where the sharepoint site is hosted),it is working fine. If i run the same service in another machine(sharepoint installed in this machine also). it is giving the below error

    Hi mallela1,
I also had similar issue couple of months back when I was trying to access a remote URL from a Windows service when the site does not exists in the server where service resides.
You cannot access a remote url (even though it is SharePoint server and also in same network ) from server object model.
SPSite can look in the current server only. here what is happening is SPSite will look for this in the current server DB and it is not finding this errror.
So please dont use ServerObject model for accessing remote sites. You can use Client Object model for the code /requirement you have stated above.
I wasted lot of time in finding a work around to make to work. It did not. So look for other options.

    Hi,
These are the few naming conventions that will be followed while doing mapping in SEEBURGER BIC mapping designer.Let me know if they help u in any way..
    ADOPTED NAMING CONVENTIONS
    1 - For Application Rules:
    DOCUMENT_APLLICATION_DIRECTION_DATA (FILE EXTENSION FOR REFERENCE)
    Length for each:
Document = 3     Samples of:  PUR, POC, POA, ASN, TXT
Application = 4   Samples of:  RECL, SOMS, HRMS, CORP, COMS, CONT
      Direction = 1       Samples of:  I or  O
Data = 3              Samples of: DAT, XML, RPT
NOTE:  Since spaces are not allowed in the names,  ‘S’  will be used as filler .
    Sample Application Naming:
    For 824 for Banking doc   – TXT_CORP_I_RPT
    2 - For Project Rules:
We decided that we would group these by related documents.  Ex. All PO’s would be together.
    Following are the Project definitions:
    ORDERS (PURCHASING) = 850, 880
BANKING = 820, 824 (Related to the banking 820 only)
    TRANSPORTATION = 404, 858, 856, 940, 945, 990, ..
    INVOICING = 810, 857
    TEXT = 824, 864, 870
    INVENTORY = 852, 830, 846,..
    3 – General  Rules:
1- IF mapping is the same with HRMS & COMS
          THEN Use CONT for Application
ELSE  Use HRMS or COMS (which ever is appropriate)
2- IF document is the same for the entire corporation
THEN Use CORP as the Application
    3- IF Generic
          THEN  No Suffix is required
ELSE Trading Partner Specific maps add the suffix
For Trading Partner specific rules, add the Name extension to the end of the rule
    Thanks .

  • AS2 Module tab.. Mapping Names for modified Standard Msg types ? ? BIC ??

    HI All,
Im using AS2 adapter for standard PO message type <b>orders.orders05</b>
and i thought of using the seeburger standard mapping name  "<b>See_E2X_ORDERS_850</b>"  in AS2 Module tab.
Now the problem is my client has extended the idoc to <b>orders.orders05./glb/orders</b> by adding few more fields in some of the segments.
Since we have modified the standard message type and i dont think the standard mapping name will work for this ?? im i correct??
If yes, i think we need to use BIC mapping tool and modify the standard xsd by importing and we need to create the new map ( ex:<b>map_E2X_Orders_Modified.xml</b>) ,generate the SDA file for this and we need to deploy SDA into XI.
And finally if we use the modified mapping name in our AS2 module tab.I think it will work????
Any suggestion or inputs we can approach in these kind of situations.
    Thank you.
    Regards
    Seema.

    Hi Chirag,
Nice to see you back in action
I will be doing the below steps in BIC.. and let me know if anything is wrong in this.
i will Create the Project name as <b>" Project_Orders_Modified"</b> in BIC tool
    1) i will modify the std msg xsd in txt file and Under my project name i will import it under EDIFACT. Save it and i will export it and save it in folder as...
           <b> msg_DT_Orders.xml</b>
2)i will create XML Message for this by giving
    <b>
    source : msg_DT_Orders.xml
    Target : msg_XML_DT_orders.xml</b>
I will import it into My Project " Project_Orders_Modified"
    3) I will create the CreateMappingEDI to XML by giving
    <b>source : msg_DT_Orders.xml
    Target : map_E2X_DT_orders.xml</b>
I will import it into My Project " Project_Orders_Modified"
Then I will run the map.. and checks if it is working fine.
If yes, i will import my mapping into Active mappings and i will generate SDA file and will deploy into XI .
Finally i will use the mapping name " <b>map_E2X_DT_orders</b> " in AS2 Module tab.
Let me know if anything wrong.

  • How to use AUTO in Mapping name for EDIFACT

    Hi
I have a source which will be posting 2 diff kinds of EDIFACT  to XI.
I want to use just a single channel where i want to configure my .sda module.
I've seen that we can use 'AUTO' in MappingName parameter, so that the mapping is chosen dynamically.
However, when i tried to do so, i get an error saying that the adapter cannot find the mapping in the classpath.
Can anyone guide me as to how to use the AUTO parameter?
If possible, provide a link for some blog where they are using it.

    Hi Alok,
Reason behing not getting the EDI payload was missing of splitter configuration, you need to configure the splitter as
you need to use AUTO mappingName instead of specific mapping name
once you configure split parameter of bic  to true, it will generate an attacments like KEY|MAPPINGNAME|ACCEPTED|MessageNo
then based on this configuration splitter will look for the same key in Seeburger workbench configuration and then generates a XI message (SXMB_MONI entry) ...
If you dont want acknowledgement of EDI and sure about the version of the mapping then you can configure the mappingName
directly instead of AUTO...in BIC paramter

  • URL Mapping for packaged JSP's in web.xml file

Did you try specifying the jsp-file with forward slashes (e.g.,
              com/advice/document/login.jsp)?

  • Mapping name for XCBL in seeburger

    Hi experts,
    XCBLPIIDOC
Our vendor is sending order response to us in XCBL format and i am using split adater as sender.
In seeburger meesage splitter I need to give the mapping name like See_E2X_XXXXX (ex See_E2X_CONTRL_UN_D3 ).
I checked all the blog but they have EDI standrd naming but as we are using XCBL i am not understanding what name I can give
    can anyone please help me.

    Hello,
xCBL is already XML, try searching for XML over AS2 in SDN.
    http://forums.sdn.sap.com/click.jspa?searchID=75915044&messageID=9662162
If I remember it correctly, you do not need to provide a mapping name
    Hope this helps,

  • BIC mapping names / classes

Anyone out there using Seeburger BIC converter...Do you know where the mapping names / classes are stored in XI. We think we deployed the mapping libraries but not sure where this is stored for reference. Any help in this matter is greatly appreciated.
We have an oss message sitting out there for the last 3 days.
We just need to know the mapping name to use to go from ANSI 856 to 856 XSD (seeburger definition).
    Thank you,
    Pam

    Hi!
The mapping name from ANSI to XML (1:1 mapping) should be:
"See_E2X_ANSIX12_856V4030" where "V4030" is the version of the message.

  • Url mapping

I have a webapp and the welcome file is:
              http://localhost:7001/LAM/login.jsp.
All of the posts and gets are sent to a single servlet
that controls the flow to and from jsp pages.
My co-workers and I would like to be able so something like:
              http://localhost:7001/LAM/anyjsp.jsp?arg=arg&arg2=arg etc.
              or http://localhost:7001/LAM/jsp/anyjsp.jsp?arg=arg&arg2=arg etc.
so we can pass args in and out of the pages from the browsers
address input rather than going through the app to get to a certain jsp page and
submitting the arguments. The jsp files are in the weblogic/webapp/jsp directory
and the servlet is in the
weblogic/web-inf/classes directory. The servlet is defined and mapped in the web.xml
file. We can't get the url in the address window to go to a given jsp page. What
do I need to do to get around this or what do I need to configure to set this
              up?
              Thanks,
              Bill

    Hi,
We can give same url mapping to both Servlets but we can access the servlet which is entered first in web.xml because whenever we send a request to the webserver then webserver look at the elements in web.xml file one by one.
When it finds the corresponding url mapping then immediately sends the response to the client. The same url mapping for the next element will be ignored.

  • Guestname coming from session, not from parameter, and it's URL-encoded. Need it decoded.

We have a hosted account for Adobe Connect. When users want to enter a room, they go to a URL like this:
    http://connectpro12345678.na5.acrobat.com/rereview/?launcher=false&guestName=John%20Smith
This drops them into the meeting room, but the name is listed under Participants as
    John%20Smith
rather than the desired John Smith.
I've determined that the URL-encoded name is coming from the session, because when I deleted the BREEZESESSION cookie and hit the meeting room directly, using a URL like:
    https://connectpro12345678.adobeconnect.com/_a963369417/rereview/?launcher=false&guestName =Michael%20Van%20Kleeck
the guest name is displayed appropriately.
How can I force Connect to either decode the guestname or to use the guestname from the parameter, rather than the session?
    Thanks!
    -Michael

You shouldn't be using the naX.acrobat.com URLs. These URLs are redirecting to the new adobeconnect.com URLs, which may be where you are seeing the issues. You shouldn't need to use your account ID (_a963369417) so your links should look like: http://connectpro12345678.adobeconnect.com/review/?launcher=false&guestName=John%20Smith

  • Not sure about "dialer map name" purpose

    Hello,
I am trying to understand the purpose of the "dialer map name <hostname>" command in dialer and ISDN interface configurations, i.e., what is the reason and usage of this name mapping. Unfortunately, looking into IOS command guides and references did not help me much.
The documentation seems to suggest that this mapping is used to define a remote host name for authentication purposes. However, I don't understand why this would be necessary - both PAP and CHAP in PPP will provide the remote name whenever needed so there is no reason to explicitly specify the remote host name.
If anyone could help me with this issue I would be most grateful. Thanks in advance!
    Best regards,
    Peter

    Hello,
If your using bri to bri connections the dialer map name will be used by default as the username if not specified in ppp exteded settings. If I remember right.
