Org Determination in IC Win client and Request Mgt.

Hi to all,
i am having a problem regarding org. det. in IC win client i am creating a service complaint it was detemining a different org other than the ogr. det. given in Trans. type. what may be the reason and it was not detrminig prcicing procedure for service complaint.
if i try to give service request and service complaint in application area it was displaying only complaint tab and not desplying request tab.
can any one help me pls. thanks in advance.

Hi,
The org determination profile is assigned to transaction type.Similierly for your complaint document ( transaction type ) and for your order ( transaction type ) , assign the same org determination profile.
So when you create a complaint from order , same org data will come.

How to populate the ECC Delivery number in to CIC0 (win client)

Hi,
Through Action Box I am able to call the VL01N, after completion of the transaction when I choose the save it is taking me back to CIC0 (win client) and I am not able to see the delivery number.
For that I have to go to VL03N there I have to see.
Is there any other way to populate the delivery no. in the CIC0 (win client)?

Lead Org determination from Employee responsible

Hi,
We are creating leads by executing campaigns. Now when leads are created, Sales org is determined from user who has logged into the system, however I want to change this. Sales org in lead should be determined by employee responsible.
I am not sure which org determination rule should be used and if there is any other customization that has to be done along with this to resolve this issue.

Is there a standard rule for this...with some of my research i feel like this can be achieved with Org determination rule 10000194 and Partner Function ORG = Person Responsible.
I would like to know other impacts if I change my current Partner Function ORG from Activity Partner to Person Responsible. Will it affect Partner Determination Procedure??

I know the Web Client and Win Client. But i want to know the exact difference between them?
And Why and When We are using Web Client and Win Client and Which type of industries.
If any body have real time documents for using it pls forwad to me.

These are the Main Difference between Web Client And win Client:
1.When it comes to the technology, the WebClient is based on BSP (business server pages), which are generated by the SAP Web Application Server and creates HTML pages so that all the agent needs is a browser. In contrast, the WinClient is basd on ABAP Dynpro technology and requires a installation of a SAPGUI on the agent machine or a terminal server.
2.In the area of multi-channel-integration, WebClient currently uses the ICI/BCB interface whereas IC WinClient uses SAPphone. Customers that have a SAPphone based integration up and running will be able to reuse this integration with IC WebClient. ICI/BCB based integration will be made available for IC WinClient customers with the 2005 CRM release.
3.One important difference is the general approach towards UI design. In the WebClient you will find specialized, optimized user interfaces for a specfic subset of business processes. The WinClient will let you reuse any business process objects from CRM online.
4.When it comes to integrate into other applications or user interfaces the WebClient can use any people centric UI (PCC UI) view (the CRM browser based user interface) or use WebGUI (aka SAPGUI for HTML) for R/3 (or other 4.6C/D basis based onwards systems) to render HTML. WinClient can easily integrate into any other SAPGui based application.
5.ICWEB Client support the auto suggestion of solutions
6.ICWEB Client has the functionality to replace views, add more fields with in the views.
7.Like win Clients web client doesnt support the reminder scripts but it provides the similar functionality with the help of Alerts

Unfortunately it`s not supported to use case management in the CIC WinClient yet and it`s not planned to support it next time.

UTL_HTTP and client certificate request

I am hoping that someone can help me. We have a web site that we need to hit and pull the html code back from the pages and we have the code to get what we need but the website now has an option where it requests a client certificate from a user for authentication or if you cancel the request it will then ask you for username and password. I cannot figure out how to submit a cancel on the client certificate request so that my application can submit the username and password authentication. Does anyone have an idea or example to do this? Also if you submit a bad certificate it will prompt you for authentication. So if someone knows how to submit client certificates that would be helpful as well.

Async tcp client and server. How can I determine that the client or the server is no longer available?

Hello. I would like to write async tcp client and server. I wrote this code but a have a problem, when I call the disconnect method on client or stop method on server. I can't identify that the client or the server is no longer connected.
I thought I will get an exception if the client or the server is not available but this is not happening.

Have you debug these two applications? Does it go into the catch exception block when you close the client or the server?
According to my test, it will throw an exception when the client or the server is closed, just log the exception message in the catch block and then you'll get it:

On my Google Nexus 5, when I access the app ASTRO file manager, I am daily receiving an ad from the "Mozilla Reward Center", offering VIP customers the chance to win an iPad and requesting my home address for shipping should I win.
It looks to me like a scam.
I have saved a pdf of the screen if anyone wishes to see it.
If anyone knows how to block the ads in ASTRO file manager, I would be grateful for help, but I suspect this is not possible.

Sales Org Determination and slaes are Templets not assigned

Dear Experts,
I have a problem in Sales Org determination and sales are templates.
I have totaly 9 branches as part of Project rollout and the determination rule is working for 8 branches where as only one branch is facing this problem.
I have checked all possible solutions from this forum and tried my level best, still not working out. Pls help me .
1) When tried to create a sale order it gives me an error saying " Enter sales Unit" "Enter Distribution Channel" " Enter Sales Org"
I have created the Sales are templets and also assigned them to main templates. And the rule for org determination is defined with the fields, Data Origion, Partner and Source in contianer , which is working fine with other branches.. Only one branch we are facing this above said problem..
Can any one help me in this regards.

I have alredy created the Rule for sales org determination based on Insustry sector( Contianer- Industry Sector, PArtner, and source) and it is working fine with 1st and 2nd branch users. It is only a problem with 3 rd branch where 3 users are using the system.
Even I cross checked the authorisations,and I did not find any error with the authorizations. Hope you r more clear on this

Win 8 and 8.1 client showing shared printer server as offline

Hi,
we have a problem with our print environment (HP and Ricoh printers).
We have some Windows 8 and 8.1 clients and a Windows Server 2008 R2 printserver.
Windows 8 and 8.1 is showing the printers as offline. Its seems the problem described here ->

We already installed the fix on the server but this didn't resolve the issue.
Maybe somebody have the same issues and an alternate solution for this?

So far, there's no fix for Windows 8. Since you have tried the hotfix you mentioned without any help, please also try to install this update to see if it could help.

As it mentioned in the article above, please try to open the print queue dialog and choose “Properties” from the “Printer” menu that it would connect to the printer and bring it back online.
Also, maybe disabling SNMP support for network printers will work.

Transaction Org determin. and item category Org determin. ?????

Now I assigned a organization determination procedure to the transaction type to determine the responsible organization in the transaction, I want to know why we assigning organization determination procedure to the item category as the organizations were already determined using the transaction organization determination procedure

Generally, the header org determination is used for item data but there are scenarios where this makes sense.
Answer to this question could be a question itself. How would you handle two different services in a service transaction where the two services are handled by two different org units?

This happens from 2 Win 7 computer and 1 Win XP computer sync'd. Without the Add Block Plus being sync'd everything works.

I am wondering about this error as while I am using the same code to connect to the Oracle database server in my Windows program with Win Forms, the connection to the Oracle server is established and working fine.
But when I have tried to use it with Web Forms for my ASP.NET Application, it throws me out with these exceptions :
