  • Responsibility rules : Agent determination only works after restarting the WF

    Hi Experts,
We are facing a very strange issue related to agent determination in one of our custom workflow:
For agent determination we are using a responsibility rule with two parameters "Company code" and "Plant".
The responsibility rule works well and returns the agents for all the company code.
Recently I have added few company codes to this responsibility rule in the same way we used to maintain and simulate it . It returns the correct agent for newly added company codes but at run time the agent determination is getting failed and the WF goes into an error because of it. However when i restart the WF via SWPR it works well and the agent determination works well either.
This is only happening for newly added company codes the old ones agent determination work well at the run-time.
Pls suggest what could cause this problem. If there is a problem in responsibility rule then why it works after restarting from SWPR.
Thanks in advance. The helpful/correct answers will be rewarded.

    Him

    Hi Rick,
    Thanks for replying.
    1. Can you replicate this problem in the test system?
Yes I could replicate this issue in test system and it works fine there.
    2. Is this a true responsibility rule or does e.g. a function module get called?
We have a responsibility where several responsibilities have been added with two parameters "company codes" and "plant". Every responsibility has a POSITION assigned into it and this position contains the related users.
This responsibility rule is getting called in one other rule with FM. Here in this another rule we are calling the responsibility rule by using the standard FM  RH_GET_ACTORS to fill the ACTOR_TAB.
I have tried to simulate both the rules and it returned correct agents but failing at run time.

  • Problem in Org determination rule

    hi all,
i have postal codes assigned to the org model as attributes,(ie) the org unit is responsible for that postal code only, i have created org determination rule by selecting the postal code as an attribute, i have created bp in which i have mentioned one of the postal code which is in the org model,
when i run transaction i need only the org unit to be picked and shown based on the postal code mentioned in the BP , now it is showing all the orgunits which i dont need,
please suggest me what setting i have to do.
    its urgent

    Hi shalini,
while simulating the rule in pfac, i am able to get the correct org unit for the pincode, while running the transaction my problem is still the same getting all org units in the pop up, i am sure i have correct org rule assigned to org profile and profile to transaction.
to be clear, my requirement is, for a transaction type, i have defined prt functions "customer" and 'employee responsible' in UI interface setting of prt detr procedure. here the employee responsible should not be the user creating the transaction. this should be the org unit "sales group" which is having certain pincodes assigned in org model, the same value which is populated in sales group field should be populated in 'Emp responsilbe' field in UI of transaction type.
here my first problem is i am getting all the org units for the selection when running the transaction, where user doesnt know which org unit should be selected for the customer belonging to the particular pincode.
if i get value sales group field how can i get this value populated to Employee responsible field in UI
suggest me how can i achieve this.

  • ISA sales order -  org determination question

    Hello All,
We have sales orders being created in CRM just fine using SAP GUI. The transaction type has a specific Org profile attached which has rule to determine the org unit, sales area, office, group based on sold to party's location.
Now for the same transaction type when the sales order is created from the WebShop it is not picking up the correct Org Determination profile(I think). The sales area comes out correctly but org unit, sales office, group are picked up incorrectly. The sales area is correct bcoz, may be the product catalog has the same sales area(Sales org/Dist Channel/division).
I am not sure what could be reason and if product catalog has any role to play on org determination profile for orders from WebShop? Is there any special configuration available for webshop specific org profile?
There is a difference of values org unit, sales office & group between orders created out of GUI vs WebShop. What could be the reason? Any suggestions are appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi Sunil,
You have to login to Shop Admin Web application. It should be found on the same server from where you are accessing ISA B2B/B2C
    http://<server>:<port>/shopadmin/shopadmin/init.do
Login with User who has shop administration authorization in backend system.
After login click on existing shop you will get list of webshops define then click on your web shop and go to Transaction tab and check your Sales ORg, Distribution Chln, Division value.
Also check customer profile in bcakend system. Are you using B2B or B2C?
Let us know if you have any question.

  • Org determination

    Hi CRM gurus,
I was trying to set automatic Org Determination wherein I want not only the Sales Org, but also the Distribution Channell, Division, Sales Office, Sales Group to be pulled in automatically.
Here is what I did so far.....
The CRM is mapped to corresponding Org Units in R/3 (in other words, the Middleware is setup fine).
I have checked the check-box "Object Permitted in Determination". Have the necessary attributes setup.
Created my own Org Data Profile which has "Orgl Model Determin. Rule" 10000177 (OrgUnit by partner attribute: Country), and had this Org Data Profile assigned to my custom Lead Transaction Type.
Now, when I try to create the Lead, the Org Determination seems to work fine, but it does not populated the Org Units without asking me to check from the list of options. The Sales Org and Division seem to be fine, but the system's still not sure which Distribution Channel to select especially when I have "Excluded" all the DCs with the exception of one (so, in a way, I have made it easy for the system to choose the only active DC, and leave no options, but the system still lists the 'excluded' DCs for selection). And I have no clue as to how to fix the Sales Office n Sales Group selection. First it asks the Sales Office and Sales Group to select, and after selecting that, the system asks me to select the DC. In case, if I select the 'excluded' DC, the system throws up an error message. So when the system knows which one is the correct DC and which one's the wrong one, then why does list all of them?
I'll appreciate your help n will provide max points as soon as you provide the solution
    Thanks,
    Pras

    Hi Pras
    > What do you mean by the "relevant for determination"
    > flag? Do you mean the check-box "Obj. Permitted for
    > Determination"? If so, that applies to all the
    > attributes, right?
    Yes, you are correct here.
    > I believe, we cannot pick n choose
    > which attribute this flag should apply to which it
    > should not, right? Or am I drifting away from what
    > you are trying to say?
No, it is not possible to select only certain attributes, just the whole org unit can be activated or deactivated.
    > Eitherways, I have 4 DCs, and
    > I "Excluded" 3 of them and have only one DC active. I
    > want the system to select that DC automatically. The
    > reason I do not want the "Excluded" DC rows deleted
    > is because, I may want them in future, and I was
    > wondering if I could demo the end-user that
    > adding/removing a DC in the Attributes tab is as
    > simple as checking/unchecking the "Excluded"
    > check-box rather than having to add/delete the entire
    > row.....and what's the point in having the "Excluded"
    > check-box if one has to add/delete the entire rows?
I am sorry, but I did not find out the meaning so far, but then I did not program that
No, to be honest: You should have one org unit representing one combination. And then you can activate / deactivate the permission flag. I found that to be the easiest way.
    > When you say that its ok to activate just the
    > 'leaves', does it mean that its OK if I just check
    > the check-box "Obj. Permitted for Determination" for
    > Sales Group (or Sales Office which do not have Sales
    > Group), and not worry about the same for Sales Org?
Exactly. Sounds strange, but the sales org setting is inherited towards the lower org units and therefore it is enough just to have them activated.
Hope this helps, if so, pls. assign some points.

  • Problem with ORG Determination in Transactions

I am having an issue with ORG determination in Business Transactions
The Organization area is not being populated as required.
I want to pull in the org data from the User (Org data set in Sales Area section of the BP), all users have the same org data, when running the transaction this is not working, this used to work ok but no longer does??
Settings in org data profile is set to '14000146 - Org. Unit Using Transaction Type', this brings back two errors:
1 - No organizational units found
2 - No organizational unit could be selected
I have tried using the 10000194 - UserOrgUnit but this causes a pricing determination error relating to config
    any ideas anyone??
    regards
    Barry

    Hello Barry,
To use rule 14000146, you need to add the used transaction type as an attribute of the org. unit that you want it to be determined.
To do this, please execute t-cd ppoma_crm, open your org. unit, go to the [Attributes] tab, add the transaction type into the 'Transaction Type' attibute, then check on 'Obj. permitted in determination' save.
Wiith rule 10000194 you got the org. unit determined. For the pricing error, I think it might be related to the pricing procedure determination. If yes, please check your IMG activity:
    SPRO
    - CRM
      - Basic Functions
       - Pricing
        - Pricing in the Business Transaction
         - Determine Pricing Procedures
Here, the Sales organization, Dis. Channel, Division are the org. data determined in the transaction; the Doc. Pricing Procedure is the one defined in the transaction type (IMG activity: Define Transaction Types->Assignment of Business Transaction Categories-> BUS2000115 -> Customizing header -> field 'Doc. Pric.Proc.'); the Cust. Pricing Procedure is taken from the sold-to party's BP master sales area data (in the billing) tab.
Hope the information could be helpful.
    Best regards,

  • Org determination problem for an Opportunity created through CIC0.

    Dear all,
I have a problem with org determination in an opportunity createde through CIC0. I initially created a BP, then a contact person for the same BP and then created an opportunity for the BP where in system is not picking up the Org Data.
    The determination rule says that
if BP has sales area data --> present those sales areas
if BP has no sales area data --> pick up from the user assignement in the org structure.
Now case 2 should be applicable to me. I have maintianed a user as BP under Sales Org. I have activated obj permitted for determination at sales org level.
When I am creating opp from cic0, user is getting picked properly. However, org data is not getting picked.
The scenario works fine when opportunity is created through CRMD_ORDER
What is that I am missing out??? PLEASE HELP ME OUT...
    Regards,
    Rajesh

    Dear Rajesh,
this might be caused by wrong partner determination customizing for CIC0. please check note 600116
and related. Also please check note 487734 regarding missing pop-ups in CIC0.

  • Lead Org determination from Employee responsible

    Hi,
We are creating leads by executing campaigns. Now when leads are created, Sales org is determined from user who has logged into the system, however I want to change this. Sales org in lead should be determined by employee responsible.
I am not sure which org determination rule should be used and if there is any other customization that has to be done along with this to resolve this issue.
    Please help.
    Thanks,
    Bhushan

Is there a standard rule for this...with some of my research i feel like this can be achieved with Org determination rule 10000194 and Partner Function ORG = Person Responsible.
I would like to know other impacts if I change my current Partner Function ORG from Activity Partner to Person Responsible. Will it affect Partner Determination Procedure??

  • Implement Org determination for Service Orders

    Hello Freinds ,
My Client is implementing the service order with WebIC2005 with the following scenarios.
    Service orders created Manually.
Service Orders created from completed sales order automatically.
Could any one possibly suggest the best practice of implementing org determination for the above scenarios.
Is it a correct practice to determine sales org for manual creation of Service Order.
For Automation process is it not correct have sales org determined from sales order.
How to determine Org Determination in  WebIC service order Link?
    Thanks & regards
    Amar

    Hi Amar,
You cant assign two diffrent org determination for same transaction type.
Its always better to determine the org at transaction type level. But wehn you are creating service order from sales order , you can set the rule in Copy control whether to copy the org or not.
    Hope this helps.

  • Org determination for Service & Sales Organization

    Gurus:
Here is my objective and steps I have performed so far. Pl. guide me with your 'pearls of knowledge & experience'..!!
Objective: To create Org determination profile so that when Campaign is released, prospective customer calls 1-800 number, based on the zipcode of the customer, an Appointment/Demonstration transaction is created and this transaction is routed to the Regional Sales/Service Office.
    Configuration done:
    1) Org structure with Regional Sales/Service is created. Do I have to create/assign 'zipcode' as attribute over here? If yes, do I just specify the Zipcode range for each office..? Do I select 'Object Permitted in determination'..?
    2) Do I have to create new Org Determination profile or I can use an existing one, such as '00000001 - Std Org data profile-Sale', which uses '10000280' as Org Det Procedure? I checked 10000280 (REG_SERV_04) and it uses zipcode as reference. I suppose we do not change/config anything with this rule correct..?
Thanks in advance and full points for correct answer...
    Cheers,
    Niraj.

    Dear Niraj,
I answer because I am interested in this topic. I will share what I know. When you set the flag "Object permitted for determination" the Organization is available for the transactions. So you must set this. Also, Zip code is maintained in the Attributes tab for the scenario that you choose. In your case, I think you choose Sales. This will help in the Orgnization data determination.
This is as far as I know. Watching this space with interest.

  • Org determination in transaction based on custom Partner Function

    Hi All,
I am trying to figure out how can I modify the partner determination procedure and org data profile to determine the sales area (org,dc,div,so,sg) in a transaction automatically without having to choose the sales org.
    Here is the set up:
Sales Org ->Soff->Sales group are permitted for Org determination in ppoma_crm.
Custom Partner Functions - Y1 and Y2 assigned to Sales Partner Function Category
Access Sequence YXXX has the following set up:
          Source                        PF                 Function Category          Usage
    10  COM_PARTNER_A
    20 CRM_PARTNER_C  Sold to Party
    30 CRM_PARTNER_C                         Activity Partner                 CRM
    40 CRM_PARTNER_C Sales Prospect
    50 CRM_PARTNER_C Activity Partner
Partner Procedure YPP001 has the following setup:
    Function    Access Sequence
    14              User                         Recurring
    15              YXXX                       Recurring
    21              0001                        Recurring
    23              YXXX                       Recurring
    Y001                                           Recurring
    Y002                                          Recurring
    Y1            YXXX                       Recurring
    Y2            YXXX                        Recurring
Org Data Profile YORGPROF01 is maintained for Scenario SALES with Org Model Deter Rule 10000177. Sorg and Dc mandatory set.
The transaction type YOPP is configured as shown:
    Org Profile YORGPROF01
    Partn Func Org Activity Partner
    Partner Determination Proc YPP001
    Now here is the issue:
We want that when we create transaction YOPP it should fill the Org data including Sales Office and Sales group from the partner associated with the PF Y1 which gets assigned automatically when the account is selected on the transaction.
With the above setting, it populates all the sales offices and sales groups that have been marked for determination in ppoma_crm (which we don't want it to do). We need it marked for determination so the BP's master data associated with Y1 shows up the sales group and sales office.
When the account is selected on the transaction and Y1 is determined via partner determination, we would want the sales Org also to get determined automatically from the Y1 partner's master data.
Anything that can be changed in the above settings to make this happen?
    Thanks
    PC

    Hi
Although i have no practical experience with this but an educated guess would be to use Partner function determination . If you have 'employee responsible ' PF , Then u can further use him for org determination.
    May be this helps...

  • Oocu_resp-Responsibility rule

    Hi,
this txt oocu_resp.. i know it's used for responsibility rule... Can any one explain me what is the significance of his responsibility rule in SRM.... and why we use responsibility rule..
    Points will be rewarded
    sam

It is not subject to any particular module nor it behaves differently. As you know and it is used for determining agents based on some inputs similar to querying a table. In SRM, it's upto you and if there is a need you can choose this option.

    Sankar,
You have to use txn OOCU_RESP to maintain agent assignments for responsibility rules in different clients.
