Org.eclipse.aether.deployment.DeploymentException for Upload to Nexus

I am trying to store some files/artificat by defining GAV co-ordinates to Nexus but keep getting
org.eclipse.aether.deployment.DeploymentException: Failed to deploy artifacts: Could not transfer artifact XYZ ????? from/to xxxx???? : Bad Request (400).
Few lines of code:
Artifact artifact = new DefaultArtifact("co.xxx.yyyy.zzz", "xzzz-client", "txt", "1.0.0-SNAPSHOT");
artifact = artifact.setFile(new File("file.txt"));
DeployRequest deployRequest = new DeployRequest();
deployRequest.addArtifact(artifact);
deployRequest.setRepository(repoBuilder);
system.deploy(session, deployRequest);
While I can download file using similiar coading technique.

    thanks for your support.
    From a first test it looks like this new version solves the problem along with JDK7
    Just let me add, for those using maven, in order to exclude jaxb-impl from deployment, you just need to add the following dependency to you pom.xml
    <dependency>
         <groupId>com.sun.xml.bind</groupId> 
         <artifactId>jaxb-impl</artifactId> 
         <version>2.2.6</version> 
         <scope>provided</scope> 
    </dependency>
    This will tell maven to not bundle jaxb-impl into the lib folder as it's offered by JDK7
    Of course you have JAVA_HOME set to JDK7 home so that the local cloud server picks up the JDK7 libs

    I have created JPA project, with out any error have done mapping also. with orm.xml and persistense .xml
    I am getting No Persistence provider for EntityManager error when calling Entity Manager in Entity class

    As per your suggestion I removed Persistence Provider as "org.eclipse.persistence.jpa.PersistenceProvider", made it blank in persistence.xml, but still I get the same error saying No Persistence provider for EntityManager, please have a look at other attributes of persistence.xml

    I was able to reproduce the issue you are seeing. This issue is caused by the fact that there is a new version of org.eclipse.wst.server.core_1.1.207.v20110401_1511.jar which is newer than the version which was shipped with Eclipse JEE SR2 bundle.
    The Helios JEE SR2 installers at http://eclipse.org/downloads/packages/eclipse-ide-java-ee-developers/heliossr2 contain the following version org.eclipse.wst.server.core_1.1.206.v20110110_p001.jar.
    In your case when you tried with Helios GA and the OEPE update site , I presume you had the "Contact all update site during install to find required software" checked which updated your eclipse installation with the latest 207 version.
    There are a couple of options to workaround this issue:
    1) download and install all-in-one OEPE kits from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/eclipse/downloads/oepe-111172-360027.html
    2) install eclipse JEE SR2 and install OEPE from the following update site http://download.oracle.com/otn_software/oepe/helios but make sure that the "Contact all update site during install to find required software" option is unchecked.

    Deployments of new versions of applications are submitted by an automated script.

    You must use not the original bean that you coded. You must use the bean generated by axis-wsdl2java.
    The bean generated by axis-wsdl2java is:
    - in the first beanMapping: MSPCSService.SMSMO
    - in the second beanMapping: MSPCSService.SMSMOResponse
    As you can see, the bean the axis-wsdl2java will generate is build with the namespace + "." + qname. If you use an domain like java.sun.com in namespace, then the package name you will use is inverted (in the sample, com.sun.java). Look at the code generated.
    You client must use this beans, not the original coded by you.
    This must work, worked for me :)

  • Weblogic Eclipse JAR Deployment Issue

    We're deploying from Eclipse project directly to Oracle Weblogic Server v10.3 via WLS Adapter.
    Result*
    NoClassDefFound exceptions for JARs included via Maven Dependencies (in "Project > Properties > Java EE Module Dependencies") errors in Weblogic AdminServer.log.
    Cause*
    JARs that should be accessible under /WEB-INF/lib do not appear to be getting deployed properly.
    Environment*
    Oracle Weblogic Server Support 1.0.0.20080808135653 from OEPE 1.0 on Eclipse Web Tools Project (WTP) 3.0.2 & Eclipse J2EE Ganymede SR1.
    Temporary Workaround
    We have to copy all the generated jar files manually from the generated target lib directory (e.g. D:\xx\xx-src\xx-web\target\xx-web-0.0.1-A-SNAPSHOT\WEB-INF\lib) to the source WEB-INF/lib directory (e.g. D:\xx\xx-src\xx-web\src\main\webapp\WEB-INF\lib)
    There is this bug CR305233 appeared in Workshop for Weblogic, but we can't find any references to a resolution of bug CR305233 in later Workshop for Weblogic versions, and can't locate release notes for OEPE 1.0. (Unfortunately the BEA bugzilla site seems to have disappeared).

    When you call it the first time, it new Shell() constructs a new Display for you (the default).
    The second time, it gets the default display, but you are in a different Thread now. Since you have to create your widgets in the UI thread, it gives you that error.

    I'm an undergraduate student in software engineering. I worked with EE and tried to built a EJB Application. It worked. But when i connected it to database using persistence it getting error as mentioned.
    When i change my source Binary Format to jdk6 it runs without errors. What can i do for this without downgrading jdk version?

    I resolved my problem. The issue was the version of EclipseLink that I had specified in my pom.xml. Version 2.0.1 has an issue with the meta-model generation and, in fact, I wanted to be using version 2.1.1. Once I changed to 2.1.1 everything compiled correctly.
    Just make certain that you include the correct EclipseLink repository.

    Alright, I'll try to keep it as simple as possible. If that's not going to work out, we can always complicate it later :)
    I suppose you had a look at the link and I assume you know about threads.
    We can easily fix this issue if you are instantiating, calling and disposing the object within one thread, e.g. you use it only in one method like

    I had a look at the constructor, and the overhead doesn't seem that bad, provided this is not a dedicated search&replace server.

    I have a legacy mapping file that is a Java file and its class extends org.eclipse.persistence.sessions.Project.
    This file maintains the toplink mapping and is the only toplink configuration of the project. During its inception, the webgain workbench was used to create the file. Later, it was totally hand maintained.
    Now, we would like to bring this to be managed in the JDeveloper Toplink workbench.
    Could you please tell if this is possible.
