Org'l Unit date

Hi,
Can any one guide me,
While we are creating our Org'l Unit through Simple maintenance, What date we should create in PPOC_OLD.
But our client organization is started in 2003 & Company code is created in 2005.
When am creating 2004, 0001 infotype is througing an error as "Fiscal area for 2004, controlling area does not exists". So i taken 2005 & created, but again in 0008, i config all wages for 2007, so it is not pickuping the Wages.
PLZ GUIDE ME, ITS REALLY VERY URGENT.
Kind Regards,
Saisree.S

Hi Saisree,
Although, its specified by the client, however usually the date of the Client organisation start date should be considered for Org unit, Company Code etc.
As you might need to hire the employees as per there actual date of hiring. And at the time of maintaining all the data, you will face this problem.
It should be 2003.And you should consult FICO team, once you are sure about the date to be taken for all the initial FICO settings.

Dev

  • Org unit data not being sent on Leaver records ?

    Hi
We are holding org unit data on the org assignment in UKP, but is not getting sent in IDOC to GE5
    What could be the reason?
    Little urgent
    Please help
    Warm Regards
    Geeta

Timecard data will goto HXT tables only in case you have the OTL Rules Evaluation preference set to Yes for the user.
OTL to BEE Process transfers time to Batch Element Entry, and then to Oracle Human Resources or Oracle Payroll.
For employees with the OTL Rules Evaluation preference set to Yes, this process
does not transfer time directly to BEE. It transfers to the professional forms
Timecard window, where you can review the batch, make corrections, and enter
exceptions. Then use the OTLR processes to transfer to BEE.

  • Org. Unit & Job Code not diplayed in IT0001

    Dear Consultants
I have a problem which is the Org. unit and job codes are not displayed in IT0001 although I did the following:
    -     Integration between PA and OM in T. Code OOPS was set in PLOGI ORGA first.
    -     Structure was created using PPOCE and PPOME then we hire employees through PA40 through LSMW.
    -     The employee hire date and the date of creating O,S, and C is the same.
    -     The data of Company code Personnel area and sub area was recorded in account assignment tab in Organization and Staffing when creating the structure and positions.
    -      After loading the Employee data I run the report RHINTE00 and the employees displayed in PPOME.
    -     Then I run report  RHINTECHECK  and there are no issues.
    -     Then when I see that Org. Unite code and Job Code are not displayed in IT0001 I report RHINTE30 but he said (Personnel numbers for which an update is not necessary) and still Org. unit and job code is not there in IT0001.
Is there anything else I can do to solve that problem?
    Regards
    Khaled

    Dear Khaled,
    please run the report
RHINTE20  Create missing objects (OM or PA)
RHINTE30  Transfer Org. assignment in batch input folder for infotype

  • Organization View for Succesion Planning-My Org. Units!

    Hi,
We are in process of implementing Nakisa (Release: 301_701) with EHP4
for few components including Succession Planning.
We have completed Admin settings for Succession Planning. When we log
in to End User section for succession planning & go to My Work
Area>>Visualize>>My Org. Units- Initially it was giving error "Cannot
find the root of your orgchart. The orgchart box may have been deleted
or incorrectly specified, or no valid org structure can be found for
the selected effective date. Please change the root of the chart or
    select another effective date".
After closer inspection & using debugging for RFC
HRMSS_GET_ORGSTRUCTURE_AS_XML, we got to know that there are few
Organization Views which are hard coded (somewhere) but were not
present in OADP configuration for MSS. These Org. views are (1)
    TMC_O_S_CP_SUPO (2) TMC_O_S_CP_ORG (3) TMC_O_S_CP_POS. I tried to add
these Org. views with relevant configuration (not sure about it
correctness)in OADP configuration. Surprisingly, system has started
showing responsible Org. Unit for Talent specialist. But still it is
not showing all the Org. Units inside Responsible Org. Unit & also not
showing the positions inside it. I think I'm going wrong in assigning
Evaluation paths to these Object Selection rules because I do not know
the purpose of each of these Organization Views. I tried to find some
information in User guides & SDN but failed to got something relevant.
    Please Help!

  • Missing Organizational Unit Data in Organizational Data Sales

    Hi,
when using and working with CRM transactions, I cannot put in the neccessary Organizational Data Saes according to my wishes. (every field should be filled in,)
Org. Unit,      Object name,      Org. unit,         Sales Org.   Sales Off.  Sales Group, Dis. Chan., Division
    VKORG001   Sales Area..       o 50000015      VKORG001                                       01            01
=> no data are set for Sales Office and Sales Group so far in "F4" entry
This data occur in our Org.Modell and can be choosen manually as well. BUT as soon as they are maintained, the field "Organizational Unit" is empty again and so the transaction has error again.
    Any idea about?
    Thanks for your support.
    Regards,
    Markus

    Hi Markus,
In CRM goto tcode - SPRO - Customer Relationship Management - Master Data - Organizational Management - Assignment of Organizational Units from SAP ECC - Assign SAP CRM Sales Offices to SAP ECC Sales Offices & Assign SAP CRM Sales Groups to SAP ECC Sales Groups - To maintain Sales Office and Sales Groups.
Then goto tcode PPOMA_CRM and configure the organization model as per your requirements.
Check the below link for further explanations about Sales Area Data.

  • Org. Unit replication from R3 to CRM

    Hello,
I want to replicate one Organizational unit, created in R3 to CRM in quality machine. How do i assign this newly created ORG. Unit in CRM.
I went to CRMC_R3_ORG_GENERATE, but there are no lines to generate the newly Org. unit.
Do you get the error? Can anyone help please

    Dear Vitor,
It is only possible to use the transaction CRMC_R3_ORG_GENERATE once in
the CRM system to download all Org. data that you need from R/3. In
fact with this report it is possible to start multiple intial load to
add NEW R/3 sales org to the CRM org model, but it will never update
    an existing org unit.
    e.g.:
the protocol with the red light might be correct because transaction
CRMC_R3_ORG_GENERATE wants to create an organizational
unit with R/3 sales org. that may haveb been created before
manually in PPOMA_CRM. If that is case, then it can not be created
    again.
In case you want to maintain further assignments between sales
org and sales office already existing in CRM; this is not possible
by means of this report; if it were for a new R/3 sales org it would be
    possible.
Therefore here there are just two options: either make all necessary
assignments manually in PPOMA_CRM, or delete the CRM Org Model
completely and rerun a new initial load.

  • Changing Company Org. Unit Cost Center Relationship

I need to know the best method for changing an assignment of Personnel Area to the Company without impacting the OM structure and historical data.  We are moving a Personnel Area to another Company.  I'm unable to change Cost Centers on the Org. Units or reassign the Org Units to the company because their are still individuals on the PA side that have infotype 0001's that are linked.  I would like to change the Company to PA relationship on the Enterprise Structure/Change the Account assigments to reflect the new Company relationship to the existing Org Unit, change the Cost Center assignment and regenerate the Infotype 0001.  However, I'm getting error messages that tell me that I can't do this.  Is there a sequence here that needs to be run.

  • Storage Unit Date

    Dear Experts
Please advice which exit / badi / enhancement can be used to derive the same / orginal storage unit date in case when we transfer stocks from one storage location to other.
when the stocks are transfered from one Sloc - WM location to other Sloc WM location, the system consumes the orginal storage unit in the source location and creates new storage unit in the destination location. due to this the ageing of the item in the destination storage bin becomes new and the system does not consider the orginal storage unit number
Can you please help me find a solution for this since the ageing report is being developed and derived from BI

  • Via Code : Creating Org. Unit and Position and assignment of User ID to Position

    Hello,
I am looking for code which will create Org. Unit and creates Position in it. Also the User IDs should be assigned to the Position via code.
I do this via PPOC but would like to automate this process.
    Will appreciate your kind help.
    Thank you!
    Naina..

    Dear Naina,
SAP has given the multiple option to create the units ( Org. Unit, Position, Job, cost center, etc). The best ways to use tcode-pp01 (Maintain object)
    Plan version- current Plan
Object type-Org unit or Position or Job or other as per requirement
    infotype name- select object
    Time period :- 11.03.2014 to 31.12.9999
then create- fill the required & save
    Example:- Creation of organisation unit
    Tcode-pp01
    Plan version- current Plan
    Object type-Org unit
    Time period :- 11.03.2014 to 31.12.9999
    infotype name-  Object (select)
    then create (F5)
    Object Abbration:- HR Department
    save
    After, system ask
    Relationship type -A002
Type of related object- organisation unit (default)
ID of related :- Give the eight digit number
In the similar way, we can create other units.
    All the best!

    Rakesh

  • BP Number is not coming when creating Org. Unit ?

    Hi Experts,
I am creating an Org Unit, using the T.Code PPOCA_CRM. I have created one Org Unit.
But the problem is BP number is not coming as shown in the picture below : -
See the ID of my Org. Unit is coming which is  O 50017026 but Business partner column is empty but at the same time when I check already created Org unit by SAP it's BP number appears as shown below : ---
Why is this problem coming , So does it means the Org Unit which I have created It is not created as a Business Partner ? If it's the case, what is it then ?
Does this problem has anything to do with the number range and assignment of it to Org units ?
What are the step I need to do that my Org unit created as a Business Partner in the system ?
    Can someone guide please ?
    Thanks in Advance : -------

    Hi Kumar,
One possilbe reason is that the system still has to get the indicator
HRALX/HRAC indicator in table T77S0 activated.  Please check if it is activte.
Please see note 548202 which deals with this issue. In
particular see point 4. Please check the following entries in table
    T77S0:
HRALX   HRAC    X  Activate HR Integration
You can maintain this table via trx. SM30. These two entries above have
to be maintained. This activates the automatic creation of Business
Partners. These settings are relevant independently if you use external
HR integration or not. Afterwards run report from point 4 of the
    attached note 548202.
    Best regards - Christophe

  • What is the difference between Org. Unit and Work Center?

When there are Org. Units, then what is the purpose of Work Centers? Can there be an organization without Work Centers? Or Work Centers should exist for every Org. Unit?
How are Work Centers different from Org. Units. How can it be identified that this is Work Center and this is an Org. Unit? How should they be mapped?
    Can somebody clearly explain this?
    Points assured!
    Thanks in advance,
    Nivedita.

When there are Org. Units, then what is the purpose of Work Centers? Can there be an organization without Work Centers? Or Work Centers should exist for every Org. Unit?
Work Centre could be as small as a particular Desk/ cabin or as big as City...so there is no comparison of both.
Work Centres are used to indicate if we want to specify certain relationship or restrictions based on specific location, say if I want to maintain specific incentives based on Production unit, so I can define it as Work Centre..I want to define some position for handicap person,I can restrict it on a work centre.
Organisation Units and Work centres are independent and Org units can exist without Work Centres.
How are Work Centers different from Org. Units. How can it be identified that this is Work Center and this is an Org. Unit? How should they be mapped?
Work Centre "A" and Org unit "O" if you want to identify in existing structure, however if you want to define, usually we use org unit to define further structure in this where as Work centre to specify certain conditions associated with that particular location/desk.
    I hope it is clear...
Thanks for assurance of points in advance...
    Best Wishes
