Org structure of an org unit

Hi Experts.
Is there a way out in SAP (using tcode, report, or FM) we can get the organization structure until say 3 levels up and below if we input the organization unit.
Please let me know the options if available.

I think this can be done using Evaluation Path in General Structures (t-code PPSM).

Org Structure selection disappear

Hi,
Just wondering, did anyone came across this problem...
I am creating a report using a HR Report Category which allows me to do selection by Org Structure. The Org Structure selection is thru' a button that appears together with Futher Selection of HR Report Category.
1. Upon selecting a Org Unit via Org Structure I clicked the tick to accept my selection.
2. The Org Structure button has a Green shade on it.
3. I reenter Org Structure again by clicking the Org Structure button again.
4. This time instead of clicking the tick to accept selection, I click the cross on the right top side of the window to close the window without making any changes to my selection in Org Structure.
5. It turn out all selection has been removed from Org Structure (Green shade disappear)
Hope anyone who has come across this issue can provide me with a solution to have the selection retain despite me clicking on the cross at the top right of the org structure window.

It is Std functionality.. when you close the popup window it amounts to 'cancelling the selection & the 'ticks' are clared.. I don't think you have an easy workaround here.. PL take a look at the code insde the function module RP_PNP_ORGSTRUCTURE & you will understand the situation better. thios is where the selection is cleared out..

Org structure IDs

hello forum,
how to delete, and enter new ID of ORG structure,
for eg:
org structure MD is created , the system gives id no as 50000057
i want to change it to 50000035. so that my development and productions IDS are same.
i need to have them same for some testing.
in short my development and procduction IDS are diff. i want them to be same.
plz help

Hi Ashutosh,
In order to change the number range for org units:
1. Go to the path:
Customer Relationship Management->Master Data->Organizational Management->Number Range Maintenance->Maintain number ranges
2. Here choose subgroup with the name
XXYY- XX is the plan version
YY- Object
For eg. ur plan version is 01 and orgunit object is O, so u choose subgroup 01O
if 01O does not exist choose 01$$.
If this also does not exist choose $$$$.
Choose the subgroup and go to number range maintenance.
And proceed by adding new interval.
Most of the case it is 01$$.
3. How to know the plan version.
Choose transaction PPOMA_CRM
In the menu, choose Settings-> Plan version-> Alternative
In most of the cases it is 01-Current Plan
This is how u can change the number range.

Q_GRC10: Using ERP - Org Structure in GRC 10

I was wondering if the Org Structure we currently use in the ERP system can be exported and imported / copied / Cloned / transported, into other systems and / or then into GRC10. I want to use this structure to drive my workflow instead of re creating a new one GRC.

By this time, I guess you have already implemented a solution.
Long time without connection to SDN and now try to recap.
You can implemente an interfase between your ERP Org structure and GRC10 org structure.

Org Structure movement!

Hi,
In PPOMA_CRM tcode , we accendently moved a Org Structure to another org structures sub Region.
Suppose if we take there are foru levels , like Level 1 , Level 2 , Level 3 and Level 4 ( Level = Org structure)
We have moved the Level 1 org structure to Level 4 org structures sub region, we are not able to Move it back to its position.

You can go to org structure and try to delete the assignment so that it will resotre the settings assigned before.

Shows all Org Structure in Org Unit Listing in Nakisa Org Chart

Hi,
We are using Org Chart 3.0SP2.
The issue is when we search the Org Units in Org Unit listing it also shows other Org Units from other org structure which does not lie inside our selected Org Structure (already given the root org unit ID in Org chart config)
But i cannot restrict the org unit listing because we cannot find any option to give root org unit ID in org unit listing configuration.
How can we restrict this Org unit listing which should show only the org units below the selected org structure.
Because already several org structure exists in back-end,but we have given one org structure (entered the root id) which we need for org chart.

Hi Sakthi,
The search uses a listing report that pulls all active OrgUnits from HRP1000. This will include objects not within your org structure. The only way to do this is to add a data filter to the search data element that filters out these objects (e.g. filter by a short code or name). Please note that you cannot filter by the key field (ID).

Mass user movement from one org. unit to another in SRM org. structure

Is there any way by which i can move mass users from one organisational unit to another in SRM org. structure..
there is a thread available in SDN but it is not conclusive. it talks abt using a FM: BBP_USER_CHANGE_ORG

Bharat-
I am assuming that your requirement is to move mass users from One Org node to another. Ex One Plant Org node to Another plant Org node.
If my assumption is correct then, please follow the below steps.
1) Go in to the change mode of Org Plan using T-code PPOMA_BBP
2) Using shift key, select all the users that you need to move.
3) Drag and Drop the selected users to the desired Org node.
If the user IDs are not in sequence then you can use Ctrl key to select the relevant user ID.

Possible structure of a org unit if it has branches in 34 countries

What could be a possible structure of a org unit, exg - if a organisation has branches in 34 countries and head quarters being in london, and having a work center or branch in bangalore, how do we relate sitting in banglaore to London mother company?

Your org unit in London needs to have a B002 relationship with your org unit in Bangalore.
You can maintain company specific parameters in infotype 1008 (Account Assignment Features) separately for each org unit. This will not harm the relationship.

Not able to see hierarchial org structure by clicking on Expand this branch

Dear experts,
I am currently using the Online data extraction via sap for Nakisa Integration with SAP Landscape.
I have completed the configuration of Nakisa with the help of configuration guide and administrator guide - After completing administrator steps the org chart is visible - When i navigate to the org structure i can see the org unit under the org structure root that i configured as an administrator in the general settings section.
When i click the + sign ie on expand this branch i am not able to see all teh org units under the displayed branch.
Can you please guide me regarding how one can view the org structure below the selected branch when i click on expand this branch section.
Manager Personnel Id is not maintained for this org unit - Should the user clicking on the expand this branch be the manager of the org unit to see the org structure.

Dear Luke,
I am not able to see that navigation icons within an org chart box - The org unit that is displayed on clicking the orgchart does have branches in SAP but i am not able to see these navigation icons that lead me to these branches.
Is there any specific step that needs to be done to see these branches.
By the way what is the log file you are refering to is it the "PresentationResources.xml " or is it any other log file.

Error while creating Org Structure

Hi,
Im creating an Organization structure,where 2 Org units/positions report to 1 top Org Unit/Position.When i create the relation between one Org unit and sub Org Unit it is saved correctly.But if im trying to create a relation between another sub Orgunit and same top Org unit it is showing an error as Overlapping of the records.Do u want to save.This way im able to save relation between only one Org Unit to Sub Org Unit.
But i want 2 Org Units reports to the same 1 Org Unit.The relation i have maintained in A002.
Why is such error coming.Pls guide.

Hi,
You should check the time constraint of relation A002:
Goto transaction OOVK >> mark the entry for relation 002 >> click on "Time constraints" >> search for the record of Infotype 1001 of A002 for object type O and change it to 3.
However, you are trying to assign a subordinate organization unit to more the one org unit. This is not recommended. Each org. unit needs to be assigned to one org. unit as it's 'parent'. You shall reconsider.

Display of Person with position in Org Structure

Dear All,
We have a display issue, please help us to resolve.
While uploading the master data with help of BDC, the data is uploaded which has been checked properly showing data has been uploaded. But when we see the org structure through ppom_old we cant see person assignment to the positions.

Hi,
Whenever you run master data upload through BDC the relationships in OM are not created.
I am sure you have created the necessary positions in OM under Org Units and then used these positions in BDC to upload your IT 0001. But now you are not able to see the position - holder assignment in OM, right?
If this is your problem then go to SE38 and run program RHINTE00.
Select one or two persons for whom you have uploaded master data and run the above program for them
If you have already created OM objects then tick mark CREATE HOLDER RELATIONSHIPS ONLY
a session will be created with your username which you can process through SM35
please go through the documentation of the report to understand the use.

Org Structure chosen within HR report

I hope I have this question in the right forum. Within a HR report built using the Logical database PNP, you can choose a Report Category that will will allow you to choose 1) Further Selections 2) Search Helps, 3) Sort Order 4) Org Structure. These are buttons at the top of the selection screen.
My question relates to choosing the Org Structure and if the user selects multiple Org Units when clicking on the Org Structure button. The PNP logical will take care of selecting the correct employees based on the Org Units selected.
Is there a way, when the program is executing to determine what the user chose from this Org Structure tree? It's not the PNPORGEH parameter on the selection screen.
