  • Org units not created as business partners

I am using CRM 5.0. I created and maintained the organization structure within CRM. However like in CRM 4.0 , in 5.0 the org units are not being created as business partners within the system. Is there a change in 5.0 or am I missing on something. (I Created sales orgs, maintained distribution channel and division)

It works the same way as 4.0.
Have a look at last paragraph on page:

  • Org unit not displaying in Payslip

    Hai all
In production, we have maintained Org Structure and assigned persons. Payroll live run is completed. But in the customized payslip, the org unit is not displaying. That org unit is there in the Org structure, in WPBP table also its displaying, but in the table T527x the same Org Unit is not there.
What could be the reason for not included in the table t527x, probably thatu2019s the reason why its not displaying in the payslip. ( the program picks the Org unit from T527x table)
But other Org units which are there in T527x table, are displaying fine in the payslip
    Please suggest what to do
    Thank you

If you are using OM module, then you dont have to maintain values in T527X table.
Instead, i guess some customisation is missing in the payslip to fetch the data. are you using HR forms or is it through PE51 you are creating customised form?
If through PE51, then from then, click on the Window and choose change. In the top of the window screen, where you can maintain the screen header information, you store
    *Department : BTRTL_______________ *
This will help you fetch the department details i.e. org unit

  • Org unit not visible in the search

    Hi All,
In the master data maintenance of the organization management , we have created an sales organization unit (O 50000XXX).
Function and attribute values for sales scenario has been maintained.
Object permitted in determination check box also checked.
while assigning the pricing procedure determination for the sales org (O 50000XXX) we are not able to find the sales org in the F4 search help.
When we are trying to key in it manually it is giving an error msg 'Sales Office O 50000XXX not available'.
    Please suggest any inputs.
    Thanks
    Syam

    Hi Krish,
    Thanks for the update.
Org Data determination is working fine in the business transaction, we have maintained the Org data profile and respective determination rules.
Now we have created a new sales org unit in PPOMA_CRM.
we are trying to assign the pricing procedure to Sales area in GUI.
SPRO--Customer Relationship Management -- Basic Functions -- Pricing -- Pricing In Business Transaction.
In New entries , while searching the sales org. by F4 help.....the newly created sales org unit is not getting visible.
I tried of giving the object ID directly but the value is not getting accepted.
    Thanks

  • Separation Action: Infotype 0001, Org Unit not blank

    Hi  All,
Can you tell me what has to be done for IT 0001 during Separation action?
IT0001 is in copy mode in V_T588D for separation . The thing is, when i am trying to separate the employee, the position is defaulted to 99999999 but Org Unit and Job do not change, Which is ideally incorrect, the should be blank as position is linked to O and C.
Can you help me resolve the issue?
    Reagards,
    Shweta

    Hi,
    when you said
Which is ideally incorrect, the should be blank as position is linked to O and C.
when you are hiring a person you are assigning a position then O and C are defaulted with that.
if a person is getting separated then changing the position to default position is correct.
there is no point in delimiting the O and C for the person at separation action.
we dont have any default O and C as Position(99999999), with this pointer you can understand.

  • Org Unit not defaulting in 0001 after running RHINTE 30

    Dear SAP Gurus,
We are facing a problem where in Org Units in Infotype 0001 are not getting defaulted after running the RHINTE reports. We have done the integration between OM <--> PA, however after running the RHINTE reports the org unit is shown as 00000000, could anyone please throw some light on this?
    Regards,
    Bijoy

    Hi Bijoy,
Are you using the department flag functionality? (T77S0 switch PPABT PPABT)
I came across the same issue as you and i found that when department flags were checked for organisational units the Organisational Unit numbers were displayed correctly.
If any positions that report to Organisational units directly or hierarchically have no department flags ticked the Organisational unit number will be displayed as all zeros on the IT0001 record for employees assigned to these positions.

  • Unit not created in language EN

    Hello,
When loading a flat file, I receive the following error:
    Error in conversion exit
    CONVERSION_EXIT_CUNIT_INPUT
So then I checked the units of measure in my flat file against the T006A table via SE16 in BW.  When I looked up some of the units of measure, I get the following error:
Unit is not created in language EN.
Question:  How do I create the unit of measure in language EN?
    Thanks,
    George

Neither of the suggested solutions worked.
    I ran RSDMD_CHECKPRG_ALL from se38 for 0BASE_UOM and 0UNIT.
I also removed CUNIT from the column CONVE which is next to the UNIT column.
I am still receiving the same errors as before.
    Any other suggestions?

  • Entries & Leaving Report displays data of selected not equal to org unit

    Hi,
While using the standard report Entries & Leaving; in the selection criteria when I put
NOT EQUAl TO(options) in front of the org unit and and mention the corresponding personnel area and entry date, the report still displays the employees with that particular org unit.
Why is this happening? Any idea how to correct this?

    Hi Sikindar,
I am using standard adhoc query report Entries& Leaving.( S_PH9_46000223 ). There on the selection screen I enter the following values:
    Personnel Area: GLLV
    Org Unit         : #(Not Equal To) 60000047
    Entry Date : 1.11.2008 to 28.11.2008> F8
Now the report also displays the employees which belong to  o 60000047 which is incorrect.
This is the exact problem and how to rectify this. Please suggest

  • Org Unit - Business partner

    Hie all,
when org unit is created system has to create BP automatically for that org unit.
I checked integration settings and they are all ok.
is there anyway to have BP created org units that dont have BP created automatically?
Is there anything else i can check?
    thanks and regards,
    Marry.

    Hie Micha,
I tried it allready. Bit it does not help!!
I excuted this IMG activity and entered Org unit and executed. in the next screen  it shows me the Org unit and BAsic data is RED.
then i selected "repair and synchronisation object". Then it gave me message saying "Incorrect assignment for org. unit XXXXXXXXXX to partner  from 26.04.2011 to 00000000CP" (HRALX00_ORG280)
"The system tried to create an assignment between organizational unit
XXXXXXXXXXX and business partner . However, the validity period from
26.04.2011 to 00000000CP is not permitted. This is because either the
date field is empty, the start date is later than the end date, or the
business partner number field is empty."
    Thanks and regards,

I want ORG UNITS whose END DATE is within 2 years????
    I Will give you scenarios
If HRP1000 table has changed for some reasons'  and 5000(ORG UNIT) will create 2 records
    Ex: 5000  jan 1 2005 dec 31 2009
                    jan 1 2010 12/31/9999
This 5000 should't pick up as it has end date 12/31/9999 ok...
    EX: 5001         JAN 1 2006  OCT 1 2007
                           OCT 1 2007   MAY 5 2009
    Last record:    MAY 6 2009  Feb 6 2010
So this 5001 org unit should pick up as this last date is FEB 6 2010.

  • Problem while copying the org unit

    Hi,
    SRM 4.0.
In PPOMA_BBP, user is trying to create a new org unit by copying an existing org unit. When the new org unit is created, the relationship B012 (Is managed by) is getting copied and is showing in PP01 and also showing in HRP1001 table. In the current org structure, every org unit is having a manger (with a red hat). When copying the org unit, the manager is not getting coped but the relationship is getting copied as mentioned above.
This should not happen. And this is not happening while creating a new org unit by clicking on the "Create" button in PPOMA_BBP.
Appreciate for any suggestion how to solve this.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Aswini

    Hello Aswini,
I checked on a SRM 7 release and i get same behaviour as the one you described.
I did not find any OSS notes regarding this point.
I advise you to open an OSS message to have SAP clarification on this point.
    Regards.
    Laurent.

  • Obtaining Org Unit from Business Partner number

Hi,  I am trying to obtain an org unit object id from the bp number that is created when the org unit is created.  I am in a BP BADI, so I only have the bp number, and am in the process of creating a new org unit when the BADI is called.  I have tried to use RH_STRUC_GET but because we are in the creation process this does not retrieve any results.  I understand that this fm reads a buffer to get its results, and the org unit is obviously not in the buffer at this time.
Could anyone help me to find a function module that will find the org unit in this case?

    Hi Ratikant,
Thanks for your suggestion.  This may work if I was looking for an employee's org unit, but I was actually looking for the BP record for the org. unit that was being created.  It would also depend on whether this function module would work before the save and commit has occurred.
I cannot test you solution since I managed to implement a work around where I saved the org unit using a funtion group in another(earlier) BADI so that I could retrieve it in this BADI.  This has been tested and implemented and I don't want to cahnge what is already working!
    Many thanks though!

  • Changing Org Unit

    Hi Experts,
I have created an org unit (say 5001) and a position (say 7001) then I have assigned the position to org unit and finally we hired an employee on position 7001. After the completion of hiring we realized that the org unit is wrong and hence we created to a new org unit (say 5002) and changed the position assignment from org unit 5001 to 5002 through PP02 by clicking on the change button (Pencil Icon). after doing this when I goto infotype 001 it shows the old orgunit (5001) only. Please let me know how to rectify this.
    Thanks.
Note: I tried to do the same on development server it worked but it is not working on production server.

    Hi,
As you have found out, your process of changing the relationship in PP02 does not directly change the IT0001on the PA side.  RHINTE30 or copying to create a new IT0001will bring in the new organization assignment.
Next time, use the drag-and-drop functionality in PPOME.  You can drag the position to the new org unit to create the new reporting relationship.  Both IT1001and IT0001will then be changed automatically.
In all cases above, please pay attention to the dates of the org units and the change.
    Paul
