Org unit - Orgunit relationship

Hi Experts,
I have uploaded org unit to org unit relationship through BDC using PO13 transaction code and relationship type A0003 but somehow in ppom_old i am not able to view the relationship between org unit to org unit.
Kindly suggest.

As mentioned by Dilek, t-code pp02 can be used to maintain any OM Object (but you have to specify the Object Type).
Some other t-codes are specific to Object Types
po03 Maintain Job
po10 Maintain Organizational Unit
po13 Maintain Position
po14 Maintain Task
and if you replace poXX by pqXX, you'll get the Measure for the same Object type.
Just for fun, I typed in other t-codes starting with po and got
po01 Maintain Work Centre
po02 Maintain Development Plan
po04 Maintain Business event type
etc...

BP - Employee relationships to an org unit and changes

Dear Colleagues of CRM,
The scenario pertains to an employee and its relationship to an org unit to which it is assigned. Once an employee is assigned to an org unit, a relationship too gets created with the Employee as BP. This relationship has the contact info that was available in the BP master data at that point of time.
Later on, if the employee is transferred and hence assigned to another org unit, the assignment in the org unit is changed to the new org unit. On the new org unit assignment, a new relationship gets created with the BP. However, the earlier relationship doesn't get deleted when the earlier assignment to the org unit was deleted. If I attempt to delete the relationship in the BP, it doesn't allow and prompts to u201Cu2026.Change through the HR mastersu201D. The HR master though has nothing of the contact details vis-à-vis this relationship.
The existence of this initial relationship is causing error in all my dependent programs / activities which pick up the contact details of this employee and hence trigger emails etc.
Request solution as to how do I remove this u2018oldu2019 and irrelevant relationship from the BP. It may be noted that the subsequent changes of assignment u2013 deletions in particular u2013 are deleting the relationship too but the initial one exists all throughout.
Seek your kind advise to resolve the matter .

Contact SAP they have given two custom reports to check and repair BUT050 entries when we have similar issue.

Cost center and org unit missing in payroll report

Hi Gurus,
Our HR administrator has moved a position from one org. unit to another via PP01 - she has done this via a change action and not copy thus the record went missing and caused staff for that position with no Cost Center & Org Unit.
Although the position has been reinstated back to the old org. unit, and relationship shows correct cost center and org. unit - still the payroll report does not pick up the same attributes.
Please help.

is the cost center data correctlly stays in 0001 infotype ?
if your connections are normal in pp01 1001 infotype , you can run rhintexx programs.

Org. Unit - Sub org Unit relationship.

Hi Gurus,
I could not see the suborg units under the root org unit when I used the relationship, belongs to. But I could see them when I used the relationship reports to. Which one is the correct relationship between an org unit and a suborg unit?

A/B 002Is line supervisor of
That is if you map the sub org unit to root org then u need to assign
B002 --Is line supervisor of
(meaning:root org unit is the supervisor of sub org unit)
Top Down approach
if you assigning the root orgunit to sub orunit then
A002 reporting line to.
(meaning:sub org unit reporting to root org unit)

Missing position and Org Unit relationship in PO13

Hello SAP Pundits,
I created a Position 1234 with transaction PPOM with Org Unit A and Job code X with start date 01/01/2009
Now I hire an employee XYZ with this position X from start date 01/01/2009.
When I go and see position X in PO13 it shows following relationships
1)     Position 1234 - Org Unit A from 01/01/2009 to 31/12/9999
2)     Position 1234 u2013 Job Code X from 01/01/2009 to 31/12/9999
3)     Position 1234 u2013 Person XYZ from 01/01/2009 to 31/12/9999
Perfect till now.
Now if I change the Org Unit of the Position 1234 from A to B from date 01/04/2009 using PO13.
A new record is created in IT0001 with start date 01/04/2009 and previous record is delimited.
But now if I check the relationships in PO13 for position 1234 I donu2019t see the new record for Position 1234 and Org Unit B.
However the previous relationship between position 1234 and Org Unit A is delimited till 31/03/2009.
Why am I not able to see the assignment of Positon 1234 with new Org Unit B? Any reason why I am getting such an error?

When you have changed the Position 1234 to org Unit B from 01.04.2009 then the previous relationship will not show in po13, it goes into History which you can see in Complete Position Description..
goto pp01 and select that position and create relationship with Org Unit B... am not sure why in Infotype 0001, previous record get delimited and new record got created..

Org Unit to Cost center relationship issue

Hi All,
When I assign a Cost center to an Org Unit, i dont have any issues and got created. But when I assign the same Cost center to a different Org Unit, it delimits the previous Org relationship and creates the new one.
I checked the Relationship A011 time constraint and it is 2 which is with gaps.
This is strange and should not work in this way.

Org Units without reporting relationship

Hello Everyone,
Can anybody suggest if we can report all the org units which do not have any reporting relationship via adhoc queries ?
I am trying the same but not able to do so. The way I am trying: Evaluation path - A002 and restricting the output with program selection - relationship not equal to A-002.
Please help on this to proceed if we can do this in adhoc query.

How we will create relationship with org unit and task catalog

HI Experts
How we can create relationship between Org unit and Task Catalog in Organisation management once we grouped all the tasks in one group.
For Example we have one org unit under that we have 3 depts those will consider as org units only.under 3 depts we have professor,Lecturer,Reader as jobs and positions also.If we create Professor tasks in task catalog which all the tasks will be assigned to positions as well.
If it is Org unit and Task catalog how we can create relationship.

Org Unit and Cost Center not displaying in 0001 with A012 relationship

Hi Guru's,
Kindly help me in this regard ,
Whenever i hire a person to a position which has an A012 relationship (Chief Position) then Org Units and Cost centres are not getting displayed in IT0001 .
But when i hire a person in the same org unit with A003 relationship ; both Org units and Costcentres are getting displayed
I have used an LSMW for uploading relationships and objects and i have also run integration reports for the same but still i am not able to display org unit and cost centre in it0001 when i hire a person with A012 relationship .

How to copy the positions and their relationships of one org.unit to other

f there about 20 organization units among which 6 org.units have same positions and same relationships ,i know that we can create one org.units and their relationships among 6 similar org.units and then copy the same position and relationships to other 5 org.units as well instead of individually creating positions and assigning relationships to them which results in wasting a quality time.but i dont know how to copy it? so please help me by informing me in details how to copy the positions n their relationships to other org units.

Hi.
This may sound like a bit of a pain in the *** but why not save the channel strip settings into your own folder then that way you can open them up in other songs and you have some channel strips to try out when you cant find anything else to fit. Plus its fun to open up lots of different audio onto the tracks and see what the effects sound like, Brian Eno style.....

There are standard relationship for Rosters (91 ,92 ,93 and 94),
but befor doing all the configuration you have to activate switch for roster
Go to transaction SHDG
Choose the path Application Components-> payroll->India->India public sector.
Click on change Global fields Icon and add the value as u2018Xu2019 for data element u201CPIN_SW_INPSu201D.
Activate the entry

002 relationship between Org units - Failing

Hi All,
I am trying to maintain relationship 002 between two org units via function module - RH_RELATION_MAINTAIN.
This function module is failing to do so. (SY-SUBRC not equal to 0) .
Can you suggest me if there are any prerequisite that is needed to maintain this relation between two Org units ?
What could be the possible reason for failing.

Bringing back person to position relationships of a particular Org unit

Dear Gurus,
Do let me know how can I bring back person to position relationships of a particular Org unit only. I had used transaction code RHINTE00 but it executes for the whole structure. Please guide me through this.

Actually this is not about one or two positions, there are 100 to 200 positions involved. This situation arises when I create a new org structure as well as new positions & transport it from development to production server and the relationship between old positions & their holders gets vanished in org structure in production server. Usually I use the transaction code RHINTE00 to bring back the same. But what i need is a transaction code by which I can bring back those relationships in batch input method.

Cost center and Org unit relationship.

Hi Guys,
I need quick help from any one of you.
Actually our org stucture is like Root-> company->plants-> costcenters( deparments)- users.
so we create org unit in the structure with some 100001 and assign users for that cost center org unit , so by doing this costcenter attribute =100001will be inherited from the cost center org unit to all the users under that org unit.
but now there is a requirement for creation 1500 users and we have many such costcenter org units in the structure.
The business will provide the cost center I need to identify the org unit for that cost center in the structure then only I can assign a set of users for that 100001 costcenter. But to do that I have lots of such cost center org units.
So if there is a any table or report available in the system where I can get the details of the description ( meaning Basic data descrition) which we enter while the while creating the org unit and the Org unit number which gets generated when we save.
I would like to search for that relation .Please help me with this information.

OM - Multiple Cost Centres link with Org Unit/Position not to employee

Hello gurus,
In OM there can only be one relationship at a time between an organizational unit and cost centre (A011). For those areas where there is a requirement for the position to have control over more than one cost centre, there are multiple options.
Option 1 - If only one of the cost centres is used for employee cost incurrence, this should be the main cost centre, and the others controlled through authorizations.
Option 2 - If more than one cost centre is used for employee cost incurrence, a subordinate organizational unit is created into which those positions are placed. In this scenario, the subordinate organizational units would not have a chief, and the reporting structure would go up to the more senior organizational units.
Option 3 - Use Cost centre distribution infotype 1018 (A014)
My question: is there a standard way through which we can show multiple cost centres attached to a position/org unit such that cost incurred by employees goes to master cost centre attached to org unit or positon and other cost centres are just attached to position/orgunit (just to show the org unit/position is managing these other cost centres as well).
Any thoughts? Anybody has used Enterprise Organization in CO to achieve this?

To capture more than 1 cost center, you have to specify them in IT-1018 but employee's cost will be split based on this.
For data maintanance alone cost distribution is not possible (based on my knowledge).
May be equivalent custom infotype similar to 1018 @ Postiion / Org Unit level may work.
along with Master Cost center.
