Organise emails by "Sender" or "from" but like a thread.

I want to be able to organize my emails so that "sender" or "from" is all grouped like the threads. Does anyone have any ideas how to do this? Or know of a plug in that may be available?

No dividers. Does it not sort when you click on the column header?

Send Mail from, but Not Include Mailboxes

Any way to send mail from an account, but not include that account's mailboxes in mail.app

Depends on the provider of any other accounts. For example, you can add an address to the preferences of another existing account, separated by a comma, and have that additional address available in the list of From addresses. Then if your SMTP will allow, you can send from that address.
Doesn't work with the Gmail SMTP, as it will change the From to be what is used to Authenticate the SMTP.

Another address can be set up similar to a true alias.

Repeating Email while sending photos from iphone

Each time I email a photo from my iphone, the recipients say they receive duplicate messages of the same email. Seems to happen if original message has a problem sending the first time; i.e. message "Photo Delivery Failed", exiting out of mail application before picture is sent, etc.
Is this common for the 2.0 iphone software?

Make sure your iPhone is updated, just click the iPhone of the left side of iTunes, then click Check for updates on the Summary tab. More information about updating and restoring the iPhone available here: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=305744
If the iPhone is updated and you continue to see the issue you may want to try removing the email account and adding it again or restoring the iPhone.

Is it possible for me to change the email I get notifications from but not my Apple ID?

My Apple ID and primary email address are the same one. I tried changing it but that meant changing my Apple ID, and I don't want to do that. Basically I want to keep my Apple ID the same, but I want the email that's currently my Alternate Email to be my primary email. But not my Apple ID. Does that make sense? Can I do that???

You may have to get a third email address to swap around your email addresses. Try goggle.

I have a mac book air where in when i delete an email the sender ids from all other emails disappears and then again appears in a few seconds.

There is this strange thing happening with my Mac book air.Whwnever i delete a mail fro the inbox or send folder,the sender or receiver ids disappear from all others just to reappear after a few seconds.This started happening after i received a mail enquiring about some products i sell online.i replied to the mail taking it as a legit enquiry.
I did not open any attachment with the mail.Am i been hacked.

I believe you have a failing GPU (aka Video Card). Run AHT and see what it tells you. Do not be afraid to run it up to three times in succession if at first it does not detect an error (sometimes errors that are caused by overheating will not show up until the computer is stressed enough - repeating AHT will do that).
As an aside - the MBA was not designed to take the place of a desktop. If you are powering your MBA by leaving it permanently attached to the thunderbolt port on the monitor you are shortening your battery life.

IPhone email stopped sending *ANSWER*

Apparently if you put to much text in the saved signature area of the iPhone it causes the outgoing email to stop sending. I had added a "CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE" containing a few lines of text and lines.
Symptoms: The send progress bar locks in place and does not disapear untill you power down/up. Nothing shows in the sent folder the email does not send. A email may send but it only contains the subject, no content.
Removeing the excess text in the signature fixed the issue.

My iphone is sending messages from icloud and my phone number is not listed in the icloud settings now, just my e-mail address

My icloud used to have my phone number as an option to send messages from but now it is gone and only my e-mail address is there. This never happened prior to downloading the ios 7 update.

if you turn imessage off then restart your phone turn imessage back on it worked for me

2. It is a VB made dll file which send SMS from VB interface forms.

Install ClamXav and run a scan with that. It should pick up any trojans.

Sending photos from I photo by email to a pc user. all of my settings say jpeg but she is receiving them by png

trying to send photos from iPhoto by using the email tab on the bottom right hand side of screen. They show Jpeg but when she receives them they are coming through as PNG. Is there something on my end I should do different?

Sounds like the issue is on her end. A workaround would be to Control (right) - click on the image file in the Finder and select Compress "XXXX" from the contextual menu.
That will create a zipped version of the image file that you can send.
The receipient will have to unzip the file before viewing it.

Settings >> Mail, Contacts. Calendars >> Organise by Thread. Switch to OFF to see every individual email in the Inbox.

No don't restore your iphone. I've done that several times & it has never worked. -I still have deleted contacts in my iphone texts. *However if you do restore it you will not lose all your data, pics, text messages etc if you backup in iCloud. It restores back to original phone. Very nice :). Anyhowwww....
I JUST figured it out!! :))). Remove the contact from recents.
Start a text. You should see the deleted contact. All the way to the right of the name is a symbol. The symbol is a circle with "i" in the middle. Click that symbol then in red lettering click "remove from recents".

I sent the document as a PDF and it worked. But I want to be able to use Pages back and forth. HOw do I update the Pages version on my desktop iMac?

The file format used by the iOS versions of the iWork apps can only be read by the new iWork apps on your Mac - i.e. Keynote 6, Pages 5 & Numbers 3. Those versions for the Mac require Mavericks, OS X 10.9. The "too old" error on a Mac comes if you are trying to open an iWork '08 or earlier file in the newest apps. If you do have the newest apps you can open the files from your iPad.
If you can't or don't want to upgrade to Mavericks & the newest iWork apps your best option would be to export/share the files from the iPad to a type an older version of iWork can read such as Word, text, Excel, etc.
Or contact AppleCare. They made this mess, let them fix it.
