Organiser in Elements 6 reagiert träge

Gleich noch eine weitere Frage:
Der Organiser in Elements 6, genauer die Tag-Palette reagiert bei mir sehr träge. Vom Anklicken des weißen Dreiecks bis zum Ausklappen der nachgeordneten Tags vergehen volle 10 Sekunden. Das scheint mir, auch bei einem Katalog mit vielen Tags nicht normal, zumal das bei Version 5 ohne jede Verzögerung lief. Ich wüsste gerne, ob das nur bei mir so ist, oder ob andere ähnliche Erfahrungen gemacht haben.

Hallo Andreas,
das ist definitiv nicht normal. Deshalb einfach mal im Organizer Menü Datei --> Katalog den Katalogmanager aufrufen und Katalog reparieren bzw. optimieren lassen.

    What computer operating system are you using? If Windows go to:
    C:\Users\99jon\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Online Services
    Inside the Online Services folder delete the Photoshop Elements 12.0.0 folder.
    Re-launch Organizer and OLS should get recreated.
    N.B substitute your user name for 99jon. If you can’t find AppData you may first need to enable the showing of hidden system files.
    Follow these steps to display hidden files and folders.
    Open Folder Options by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, and then clicking Folder Options.
    Click the View tab.
    Under Advanced settings, click Show hidden files and folders, and then click OK.

  • Ignoring the Organiser in Elements 11.

    I neither want or need the Organiser in Elements 11, I'm already as organised as I want to be ...  I want to be able to open an image directly in Elements 11 Expert Mode just by clicking on the image icon.  I was always able to do this in Elements 9 and if I am now forced to use the Organiser, I consider this a significant backward step.  There must be a way to ignore the Organiser.

      There are two ways to do this (1) Right-click to open and choose the elements application. (2) Change the default so that images open automatically in the Editor.
    Right-click on a jpeg file and choose properties.
    To the right of “Opens With” click on the change button.
    In the Open With dialog click on the Browse button
    Navigate to:
    Program Files (X86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 11
    Select (highlight) PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe
    Click Apply
    Click OK
    If you work with other images besides jpegs you would need to do the same with each format.

    Comment peut-on fusionner 2 catalogues de même nature dans l'Organisateur d'Elements 10 ?
    Par exemple fusionner un catalogue intitulé "famille 2011" avec un catalogue intitulé "famille 2012",
    pour en faire un unique catalogue que j'intitulerais évidemment "famille 2011-2012" ?
    Les mots clés des 2 catalogues d'origine doivent-ils être obligatoirementt les mêmes ?

    Il n'existe pas de fonction intégrée permettant de fusionner directement les deux bases de données.
    La solution consiste principalement :
    - à utiliser le catalogue destiné à être intégré dans celui de destination
    - à tout sélectionner et écrire les étiquettes dans les fichiers (menu fichier)
    - à exporter les photos (duplication) dans un nouveau dossier
    - ouvrir le catalogue de destination et importer la totalité du dossier.
    Les étiquettes préexistantes seront reconnues, les autres ajoutées dans une nouvelle catégorie "éléments importés"
    Il vous restera à réintégrer les étiquettes depuis cette nouvelle catégorie dans les catégories préexistantes.
    Cette façon de procéder ne récupère pas les piles ou versions ni les albums.
    Il est donc nécessaire au préalable d'appliquer des mots-clés (étiquettes) pour les membres d'un album pour pouvoir les recréer. L'ordre de l'album ne sera pas restitué.
    Il est possible de sauvegarder les mots clés et catégories d'un catalogue sous forme de fichier texte et de les réintégrer dans le catalogue de destination. (menu contextuel des catégories et mots-clés).
    La duplication est une nécessité, mais si vous avez assez de place, gardez les catalogues originaux pour ne rien perdre. La duplication les protégera des modifications apportées dans le catalogue consolidé.

  • Organiser in Elements 11 can only find one tag at a time.

    Organiser tags will only find one tagged category at a time. E.g Typing "gill" in the find bar will return all photos with Gill in. Likewise Laura returns all photos with Laura in, but type both Gill followed by Laura will only return photos of Gill. I did not have this problem on Elements 10.

    Can you post a screenshot to show the 'Options' button ? I can't see it.
    The only way I know to combine .AND. or .NOT. logical operators is to use the menu 'Find', 'by details, metadata'.

  • Import to Elements Organiser Causes Elements to Crash

    I am having trouble importing AVCHD (.mts) files in to Elements Organizer. 
    Part way through the import, Elements crashes with no helpful message. 
    I have just checked the Video Card compatibilty list and notive that the NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT is not on the supported list (though several other GeForce cards are).  Is this likely to be the cause of the problem? 
    NOTE - Photos are loading in to the organiser fine.

    I was not able to unlock or delete the errant tag; however, saving an .Inx version seemed to eliminate the problem of crashing and the error disappeared. Good enough for my purposes!
    Now, I can proceed with my print deadline.

  • I want the organiser in Elements 13 to create folders with the format yyyy mm dd, not yyyy dd mm. How do I do that

    I want to import the photos into folders by shot name in the following format: yyyy mm dd, NOT yyyy dd mm. This used to be possible.. I have nearly 100 folders organised already as yyyy mm dd (actually half are yyyy-mm-dd). How can I do this?

    I noted the old bug and its reference to version 10 of the organiser, I think.
    I am running 64 bit Windows 7.
    I had set the date format in the preferences as dd/mm/yyyy as that is how we format it in Australia. That is when the preferences for the format of subfolder creation came up as yyyy dd mm.
    I then tried setting the date format in the preferences in the US format, that is, mm/dd/yyyy. This fixed the anomaly: the preferences for the format of subfolder creation came up as yyyy mm dd.
    I don't understand the logic and I think this was something that was missed in the update.
    So thanks for the suggestion but I think it is a little bug with a simple though slightly illogical workaround.
    Should I report it to Adobe?

  • Organiser Photoshop Elements 10

    How do you compare two images in the Organiser in Photoshop Elements 10 please

      The easiest method is to have the two images stacked together or side by side in Organizer. Then temporarily close the right hand panel by clicking on the three small dots. Then drag the thumbnail slider almost fully to the right until you see only two images displayed.
    Or do you mean an image you are editing so you can see a before and after view, before saving?
    You can do that in Quick Edit by clicking the dropdown menu at the bottom the main edit window.

    es steht schon alles wichtige im betreff.
    nach kurzer zeit reagiert das programm nicht mehr. ich habe mein system fragmentiert. die ssd platte gecheckt. win 7 auf den neusten stand gebracht. elements 13 neu installiert. quicktime und reader sind auch neu...leider kann ich mit dem programm nicht arbeiten, weil es nach kurzem gebrauch nicht mehr reagiert.

    wenn ich ein textfeld dubliziere, dann wirken sich die änderungen immer auf beide textfelder aus. warum ist das so?
    zB ich ändere den text im dublizierten textfeld in END. das ürsprüngliche textfeld sollte START beinhalten,aber nach der änderung steht das auch END.
    ich bin ratlos !

    Premiere Elements 13 on Windows 7 (assumed 64 bit).
    Did you install Premiere Elements 13 to the Local Disk C, and is the SSD drive the Local Disk C?
    Are you running the program from a User Account with Administrative Privileges? In addition, have you right clicked
    the Premiere Elements 13 desktop icon and selected and applied Run As Administrator? Please describe your
    computer resources.
    I did not understand the translation - so I will mention, please have installed the latest version of QuickTime on the computer with Premiere Elements 13.
    What is your computer video card/graphics card according to the Device Manager/Display Adapters area? Does the computer use 1 or 2
    video cards? Is the card driver version up to date according to the web site of the manufacturer of the card?
    Do problems exist with and without the antivirus and firewall(s) disabled?
    Under Additional Information...I am not clear what you are asking...
    a. When you create titles in the program's Titler, remember that two titles cannot have the same name. If they do, when you
    edit one, the other with the same name will have the same edits. What you have to do in that case - in Expert workspace/Project Assets, right click the first, select Duplicate to create the second title which will automatically have a different name than the first.

  • Photoshop Elements 11 reagiert nicht

    Nach Installation des Produktes ist es nicht möglich, den Editor zu benutzen. Die Anwendung hängt uns lässt sich nur mit dem Windows Task Manager wieder beenden.

    Da mit die obigens Tipps (Abschalten des Dienstes "Active File Monitor" etc.) nicht weitergeholfen haben, habe ich selbst weitergesucht.
    Als ursache habe ich dann entdeckt, daß im Katalog-Verzeichnis des Photoshop-Elements-Organizers ein oder zwei Ordner keine "vererbten" Sicherheitseinstellungen hatten. Stattdessen war hier (warum auch immer) garkeine Berechtigungen mehr drauf.
    Nachdem ich dann die Vererbung wiedehergestellt habe, hat der Photoshop-Elements Organizier wieder problemlos funktiniert.
    Warum diese seltsamen Sicherheitseinstellungen vorhanden waren, ist mir jedoch unklar. Ich vermute mal, daß Photoshop hier selbst irgendwas rumpfuscht...

  • Photoshop elements 11 reagiert verzögert

    Wenn ich in PSE 11 Editor arbeite reagieren die Einstellungen jeglicher Art zeitverzögernd von gefühlten 1-2 sec.
    Beispiel : In der 100% Ansicht Leertaste gedrückt halten und mit Maus das Bild verschieben. Dauert immer ein Moment bis ich die Aktion durchführen kann.Das nervt!!!
    Es kommt auch vor wenn ich in einem Arbeitsschritt den OK Button drücke das sich erst nach dem 2.Klick etwas rührt.
    Was kann das sein?
    Neuer Aktueller 3,4 GHZ Mac mit 16GB RAM.
    Batterien von Tastatur und Maus sind 100%voll.
    Es läuft keine weitere Anwendung.
    Voreinstellungen im Editor stehen auf 70% Speicherauslastung.

    Hi,
    I'm afraid that PSE 9 used the Yahoo service for maps and Yahoo stopped that service so mapping no longer worked in PSE 9.
    PSE 10 didn't even have mapping in it.
    In PSE 11, mapping is back, using Google maps.
    You might like to download the trial version of PSE 11 to see if you like the mapping there.

  • Photoshop elements organiser

    Can't open the editor from the organiser in elements 12 I get a message saying could not load fast core routines module and MMXcore routines module also multi processer support module in this version of photoshop. Can anyone explain what they are and how to rectify it.

    I have looked at similar items on the forum and one suggestion there has worked . This was to open Organiser with the shift key pressed. This brings up the catalog manager, I then made a new catalog and added some pictures: BINGO everything back to normal. I assume that I must have lost or corrupted the original catalog,

  • Uninstall Organiser but retain Elements Editor?

    Using Elements 9 with Lightroom 3 means that Organiser is redundant. Is it possible to uninstall Organiser or re-install Elements without Organiser, or is that not to be recommended?
    I use Windows 7 64-bit. Control Panel does not list Organiser separately, and the Program folder doesn't list an Uninstal option under Organiser. This obviously raises the question of how to uninstall Organiser without Elements in its entirety?

  • Photoshop Elements opening on startup, despite having shut it down prior to closure.

    I am running Elements 13 on a MacBook Air O SX Yosemite version 10.10.
    After installation I encountered the following issues.
    1)       Elements 13 Organiser application opened ok and transferred my photos from iPhoto.
    2)       Elements 13 Application opened o.k
    3)       Elements 13 Editor opened o.k
    But latterly, when opening Elements 13 application after 1 second, the screen reverts to another copy of Elements 13 Organiser.
    I have attempted to check the Installed files, to check if they are in the right location, cannot see any apparent issues.
    Additionally on Start-UP  Elements 13 starts automatically despite having quit the programme prior to closure.
    Maybe if I completely re-installed Elements 13 the problems might go away.
    Your earliest response would be much appreciated.

    Sorry for the confusion regarding 2 Copies of Elements 13 Organiser.
    What I intended to say is as follows:
    On my Dock, after installing Elements 13, there are three adjacent Buttons for the Elements 13 Application from left to right:-
    1  Elements 13 Organiser
    2  Elements 13
    3  Elements 13 Editor
    MY ISSUES ARE:
    1  Elements Organiser  opens o.k.
    HOWEVER:
    2 Elements 13      (To import work from the Elements Organiser),  the following happens:
    This section of the application opens only briefly, (1.5 seconds,  headed appropriately  Elements 1  (But immediately reverts to a repeat copy of the Elements Organiser screen) which is activated by Button 1
    Button 3 Elements 13 Editor (opens) O.K.
    P.S   Initially the application was working O.K
    Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    What do you mean by this? There is only one copy of Elements 13 organizer installed on any mac.
    I would start by deleting the preferences and the saved application states for PSE:
