Organization data profile creation

Dear experts,
Please tell me the reason for choosing the package as "$tmp" while creating the Organization data profile.What does it say and what happens if its not taken as $tmp?

org determination should only be made, if you have customized it.
So please check which org. data profil has been assigned to the involved transaction types (in SPRO Define transaction types).
And what the profil does (the rule behind) can be found also in SPRO
- Master Data
- Organizational Management
    - Organizational Data Determination
      - Change Rules and Profiles
         -Maintain Organizational Data Profile
Please check the documentation there!

I face the following problem: I use the same Organizational data profile for Activities and Tasks (both for scenario Sales). For activities, the profile works alright but for tasks, the profile does not return any results. Also the rule that is used in the profile works alright - I tested it both in customizing and in the transaction with activities. Only problem are the tasks...

Hi,
If its an IDES and its asking for requests, there should be a basis setting change.
Goto SCC4 and check for you logical system teh radio button:
'Automatic Recording of Changes' is selected.
If this is the case, ask you BASIS person to set it back to 'Changes Without Automatic recording'. This should be the IDES settings,

Organization Data for Service Orders and Service Confirmation

Hi,
Whenever I create any Service Order or Service Confirmation, the Organization Data is automatically populated.
My doubts are :
1. Is is mandatory to provide Organization Data for Service Order/Confirmation Creation ?
2. What/ Where are the customization for the Organization Management for the above scenario ?

Organizational Data Determination

Hello!
I have a transaction type with a organization data profile using rule 10000144.
When I create a document, the system doesn´t determine sales organization and distribution channel, but determines the organizational Unit correctly.
The BP used was created in just one sales area.
Does anybody know what could be the problem????

Hello,
I check my organizational model, and all organizational units are checked in consider for determination.
The organizational units have the R/3 sales org assigned, and the attribute Distribution channel, Division and Tuppel (combination of Distribution channel and division) filled correctly.
Do you remember anything more?

Date profile can control the following document's creation?

when i create a quotation of contract ,i can see the vaild time in date profile.for eg.the vaild time is from 2009.2.1-2009.2.28.
then i create the contract according to the quotation on 2009.3.1.in my opinion,i think sap crm should give me a warning message.but i can not see it .
i wanna know how can i control it?
how to let the system will check the vaild time when the following document create?

How can I organize the library under a "date of creation" file parameter?

Does anybody know if there is a way to arrange the iTunes library so that it shows up in the iTunes window with its songs organized with a “date of creation” of the file parameter? Among the “view options” there is a “date added” and “date modified” but no “date created” option. Thanks.

Yes, iTunes will "add" the file at the same time it "creates" it. In the event that for some
reason the library files are deleted or you reinstall OS X and therefore iTunes, then you will
encounter this problem. When you "add" the ripped music files that were stored in a
separate music-dedicated hard drive, these will indeed appear in the library as being
"added" that same day. I have a fairly large ripped CD collection that I started to "create" 8
years ago (first with Sound Jam and then with iTunes) and I got used to searching the music
in the library knowing that the files that were "created" 8 years ago were at the beginning
of the list and so on. When I moved from Sound Jam to iTunes in OS 9 and then to iTunes in
OS X I remember that somehow the "Date" option showed the files in the library in the same
exact order they had been "created".
Although I could delete all the songs from the library and then add each ripped file from
the iTunes Music folder back again into the library in the same order as it was "created", I
am looking for a less time consuming way of doing this.
When you click once on any file of any kind in the computer and then "Get Info", among the
information provided are "size", "created", and "modified". iTunes has included "modified"
and "size" among others but not "created" in the "View Options". I assume this is not because it is difficult to include but perhaps Apple does not find this option worthwhile.

Office 2013 latest update broke new profile creation on all network computers

Reporting a bug here!
Setup details:
We're using samba 3 as our backend and all workstation are Windows 7 Pro x64.
Office 2013 Home and Business Retail (en-us) Click 2 Run version
Context:
Deployed to the whole network of one of our client using the Office Deployement Tool.
We update their base update (no updates) to the latest update 15.0.4569.1508
Everything was working alright after initial Office 2013 installation with no updates. After updating the all the PCs to the latest version as of 31/03/2014, the user profile creation broke for newly created user.
Symptoms and causes:
Trying to log on as a new user on the machine would give the following error on Logon before automatically loging off because it cannot copy the following file to the new user profile:
D:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live\Bici\_00.sqm
D:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live\Bici\_01.sqm
D:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live\Bici\_02.sqm
The Bici folder has Read and Execute permissions for everyone but the _XX.sqm files inside only have permissions (Full Control) for SYSTEM and Administrators and LOCAL SERVICE with the all permissions EXCEPT:
- FULL CONTROL
- TRAVERSE FOLDERS/EXECUTE FILES
- CHANGE PERMISSIONS
- TAKE OWNERSHIP
Solution:
I gave "everyone" Read and Execute permission on those files and the new user could log in and his profile got created alright.
The files with broken permissions time stamp shows they've been modified during the Office 2013 update and Bici seems to be a OneDrive related service. This bug should get fixed ASAP.

No organizational data exists on item level (error message)

Hello everybody,
I still have this error message when try to create a shopping cart : 'No organizational data exists on item level'
Following a lengthy discussion with SAP Support, SAP recommended that I remove the reference of the Purchasing Organization and Purchasing Group to the backend system (R/3).
After removing the reference I was able to complete the SC creation process, but I got an error at the PO creation process, where I am unable to release the PO since it is not linked to a backend (R/3) Purchasing Organization/Group.
I am currently using SRM 4.0 with EBP 5.0 in Extended Classic Scenario.
I need an Urgent help on this issue !!

Hi,
If You have own PO document type (ZCS) then don't hange it.
in SYS attrib add a local EBP system
If you don't use local categories, You don't need to add product cat. * for local system.
in my ppoma_bbp company have two purch orgs.
-for local (fields with purch org and system id is empty)
-for backend (fields with purch org is filled from backend system.)
Example:
Company (function with company code PW01\R3100)
- Purch org local (function purch. org. checked but not filled)
- Purch group local (function purch. group checked bud not filled)
- Purch org backend (function purch. org. checked with values PZ1\R3100)
- Purch group backend (function purch. group checked with values PZZ\R3100)

Background job fails for BDC profile creation and role assignment

Hi Experts,
I have created a BDC Function module for Tcode 'PFCG' for profile creation and role assignment, and called this FM in my zprogram. the problem is that when i run this program in foreground it executes succesfully, but if i schedule it in background it fails throwing error in job log 'Role 'Z...' does not contain any active authorizations'. But i have created one more program to create authorization objects which runs before this zprogram.I have also checked the authorization object in 'RSECADMIN', it reflects active. I dont understand whats happening exactly when it runs background.
Below is the process of job

For creating authorization objects, role & profile i have created one dummy auth, dummy role & dummy profile respectively.

Organizational Data

Hi Experts
I have this issue whereby certain business transactions organizational units are not determined or found when viewing under crmd_order
I have checked config and all seems to be in place
Checked PPOMA_CRM and service attributes has been maintained for my org units
Ive maintained determination rule for service scenario. Maintained Org data profile and assigned rule to this. Assigned to my transaction type
My problem is when i view the display log for my Service Organizational Data, it will show the" Org data determination Service, Transaction type, Org data profile, determination rule, container and Partner attribute, But No org unit is found or selected
What else should I check?

When i do my rule simulation result, its only showing user's assigned to Org A for an example
But we have user's assigned to other org units as well, all which has been checked for obj permitted in determination. I ve compared the attributes and all the service org units are the same.
These user's have been defined as BP's in the container "Partner" attribute

Organizational data determination in ICSS Complaint

Hi All,
I have configured the Complaint as per the best practices and working fine in GUI. But when I create complaint in ICSS it is showing error as enter org unit sales, Division and Distribution channel. I have given the org data profile as 000000012 in complaint transaction as standard value.
Another doubt I have, when I create the transaction in GUI and give the account number or sold to party number it asks in a box that from which org u want to create. If I choose the org it creates the transaction. I want how the transaction will take automatically the org unit. If I want the org box should not display how I will achive that.
Example: Lets say there are four sales org in delhi, chennai,Mumbai and in Calcutta and each sales org has 5 sales offices and I want to creae the sales order from Chennai sales org and from 1 of the Chennai sales office how the system will know automatically that this sales order is from this sales unit without displaying the Org unit box.

There is no pop up for sales area in icss and there is ICSS wrapper FM which internally calls CRM common function module to determine sales org.I didnt remember the function module which was exclusively used for ICSS, but you debug starting from the FM which is in backend layer during Save. The function module has simple coding how sales organization is picked instead of pop-up(like in SAP GUI). you can modify that if you want to determine different sales organization.

I have already created oraclePool with the following properties:

I am still getting the same error:
Unable to deploy EJB: OrganizationEJB from sempire_bc.jar
The DataSource with the JNDI name: OrganizationDB can not be located. Please ensure
that the DataSource has been deployed
successfully and that the JNDI name in your EJB Deployment descriptor is correct.
In my console, I have created a connection pool 'oraclePool' and 3 datasource
'jdbc.GangsterDB', 'jdbc.OrganizationDB' and
'jdbc.JobDB'. I have also specified the target server and there seems to be no
error. I have checked 'Monitor All Connection
Pools' and oraclePool is running. I still do not understand the problem that I
am getting and have no clue how to solve it.

Profile creation for PP

I need to create new profile for CO26.
In which I need to include 2 customized fields from AFVGD_USR08 & AFVGD_USR09.
To enable these fields I appended the fieldu2019s names in to IOHEADER structure.
I was able to successfully create the new profile with the field values USR08 & USR09.
But when I execute the T-code CO26 with the new profile the values are not populating
in the output for these USR08 & USR09 fields.
Any idea what could be the issue?

Thanks for the suggestion ,I have already gone through the link provided by you but still one question
Does it means the if I enter the following data while creation of range of coverage profile
number of period = 1
Type of per.length=3
No. of Days per Period=20
and my requirement in one month is 1000 then average daily requirement is 1000/20 =50
and if I enter
number of period = 2 and keeping the all data same then my average daily requirement will be = 1000 / (20 *2) =25 .
Means 1000 will be covered for 2 months ?

Determining Organizational Data

Hi,
I want to determine the org responsible for a particular complaint on the basis of the Country and the Product.
My org structure is like this.
AAA
---BBB
---CCC
BBB is responsible if the Country is US and the Product is PRODUCT1. CCC is responsible id the country is US and the Product is PRODUCT2.
But after doing all the desired configurations it appears that org determination is not happening at the Item level (Product is not considered)
Does anyone have an idea how to achieve this.
I am using the Determination Rule of the Responsibility type.

Hi Namrata,
Organizational data is automatically determined in a transaction by deriving the organizational rule associated with the Organizational profile that is assigned to the transaction type. We can either have Org rule with responsibilities or with org model. The requirement depends on the scenario chosen

Query on Date profile

Hi
I have a Date profile with Date types as
ToDo By
Billing Date
Billing Doc. Creation Date
Duedate alert level 1
Duedate alert level 2
Duedate alert level 3
Duration Until First Reaction
At transaction level, I am able to edit only 2nd and 3rd. However the other date types are greyed out. I have checked the date types and found for 2nd and 3rd, under date rules, "DETERMINE ONLY ONCE" check box is not activated. While for others, it is activated.
I then unchecked for other date type the same check box. still not able to see them in edit mode at transaction level. Please help me.

Hi Rajesh,
If u want to make all u r date types editable then just assign Screen Areas: Dates to all u r date type, under same u'll see the fiels only display field just uncheck it for all u r datetypes, u'll see all u r date type becomes editable.
