There is no method that maintain average item cost accross organizations.
You might consider maintaining only one inventory organization, with separate sub-inventories for each location.

Home Hub 3 (type A) compatibility with Xbox Live a...

Just got a new Bt Broadband activated a couple of days ago.
All set up nice, getitng a 8mb download speed which is good for our area.
2 laptops, 1 PC, and a wireless printer all set up using wifi. All good.
Even managed to get Xbox Live connected via wifi.
BUT - when updating any software or games on the XBOX, what used to take seconds is now taking hours!
I even tried my old Dlink router on the new BT Broadband, and it all works fine, but as soon as my Home Hub 3 (type A) is connected, the software updates to the xbox take an age.
All other connections seem fine.
Is it true that Home Hub 3 type 'B' is the best one for using with Xbox Live?
If anyone's had this exact same issue, and managed to solve it - please tell me how.

Seems to be the same.
The only thing worse (so far) is the BT customer services team. I spent over 3 hours on the phone with various people from BT yesterday. Only when I threatened to cancel the contract did anyone take me seriously.
I really wish I'd stayed with my previous broadband provider.
What I'd like to know is how to resolve this issue - preferably from someone who's had similar experience to mine. I'm not going to go through a troubleshooting process yet again. My HomeHub 3A is simply not compatible with connecting wirelessly with any significant speed to my xbox, nor to my android mobile phone.
I have run every possible check on our line and home network.
The only variable that causes this problem to re-emerge is the Home Hub 3 (type A) which I was sent 2 days ago.

Problem in hierarchy with sap table

One problem regarding tree hierarchy with the sap bi table example zmaterial which is having 3 fields which should show as node and there data as sub node suggest me , how to do it I have look around the example but there are of simple node with string concept none of them is of sap table

Xbox live experience

Hi,
Can anyoneon BT Infinity tell me what their experience is with xbox live and in particular 1st person shooters like MW2 or Black Ops. I am currently with Virgin and their P2P throttling has completely ruined online gaming. Its super laggy and if your host (which you often are with the 5MB u/l speed) the game lobby is often terminated as the other players have terrible connection to you and awful lag.

Project Organization Hierarchy

Hi,
Please some one explain the Business purpose of defining Project Organization Hierarchy. Why we need to define Project & expenditure Organization Hierarchy
As per the user guide "An organization hierarchy illustrates the relationships between your organizations.When you define a hierarchy, you tell Oracle Projects which organizations are subordinate to which other organizations"
What is use of informing "Oracle Projects which organizations are subordinate to which other organizations".
If it is for reporting how it is help in the reporting? is the report rollup information in the top organizaiton?

The organizations hierarchy is used in two places.
A) When defining burden schedule for costing or billing, you can enter burden rate (multiplier) on any level of parent organization in the hierarchy. Then run Compile. The system allocates the multiplier value to all organizations which are subordinates of the organization which hold the multiplier.
B) You can select any parent organization in the hierarchy and add to it the classification - Projects Invoice Collection Organization. The run the process to create Transaction Types in AR for that parent org. When generating invoices for a project and transferring them to AR, the system go up the hierarchy from the project owning organization till the first parent with that classification. The associate the appropriate transaction type to the invoice when imported to AR. This functionality depend on implementation options - non centralized invoicing.
I think that standard Reporting within Oracle Projects does not roll up along the organization hierarchy. However, it may be rolling up in Projects Inteligence or OBIA.

Can we default the latest organization hierarchy when opening the org hierarchy form?

We have several versions of the organization hierarchy. The older versions are end dated and the newer version(say version number 5) is active now.
When the users go into the organization hierarchy form, it takes us to the first version and then users have to use the down arrow on the key board to get to the latest active version. Sometimes, the users are forgetting they have to go to the new version and making changes in the incorrect version. Is there a way to always default the latest version to show up first when the form is opened?

One thing I noticed is that the default numbering given to the hierarchies is 1,2,3,4 and 5 ...etc with 1 being the oldest. For my hierarchies, If I give numbers as 5,4,3,2,1 with 5 being the oldest, it is showing the latest version 1 as soon as we open the form. This is helping me address my requirement. Any ideas if this is going to cause any problems anywhere if I change the default numbering of the hierarchies?

IS PSE8 compatible with Windows Live Mail

Before installing W7+WLM I was able to share my photos using the "Photo Mail" feature with Outlook Express.
Now in W7, I use Windows Live Mail (since OE seems to be replaced with this email program) but I'm not able to use it to send photo emails.
After selecting the photos in the "photo mail" feature, and right before the photo email is supposed to pop up, I get this error message:
"Elements Organizer could not finish creating your E-mail message.
Alternatively, you can use the Adobe E-mail Service via the Elements Organizer Preferences dialog."
In the preference/sharing tab, I get two options: "Windows Mail" and "Adobe Mail"; I do not see "Windows Live Mail".
What am I doing wrong?
Is PSE8 compatible with Windows Live Mail?

You are implying that Windows Live Mail is not supported by PSE8... is this the case?

Sync iPod with Windows Live Mail Calender

I know that it is possible to sync a calender with Outlook however I was wondering whether it is possible to do it with Windows Live Mail as it simply does not give me the option.

Just to clarify, how did you synchronize your Windows Live Contacts with your BlackBerry?
Windows Live is not a supported organizer to sync with using the Blackberry Desktop Software. This is why its not appearing as an option when you're setting up synchronization. http://bbry.lv/lZWDzG

Sync Calendar with Windows Live Mail from Windows 7 Starter

I want to sync my BB with my netbook. I have succeeded syncing with Windows Live Mail Contacts but not with Calendar. The only possibility offered by the desktop software is ASCII. How do I sync with the Calendar?

PIXMA MX512 software incompatiblilty with Windows Live Mail

I recently bought a PIXMA MX512 and followed the instruction for installing the MX510 series software onto my 64 bit Windows 7 PC. Then I started randomly getting wlmail (Windows Live Mail) errors with messages that make no sense. I went back to a restore point before installing the software and the errors stopped. I conclude at least one of the drivers or utilities must be incompatible with Windows Live Mail. My Windows and virus protection is all up-to-date, and I have tried the Repair all on Windows Essentials 2012.
Does anyone else have experience with the MX510 series software while using Windows Live Mail. I guess my plan now is do another system restore and try adding just one piece of software at a time to see if I can figure out which has the conflict, unless someone here has run into this and knows another solution.

Urg: Need to replace standard hierarchy with alt hierarchy

I have an urgent need to replace the cost center standard hierarchy with the Alternative hierarchy already available. I dont have Business organization implemented so I cannot use Keog3...I need to know if there is any other way..

Organizational Hierarchy in OIM

Hi,
I have read in OIM intro docs that
"Oracle Identity Manager can support unlimited user organizational hierarchies and
user groups with inheritance"
Dose it mean that in OIM we can create a user-manager kind of hierarchy that is
USER               MANAGER
USER1          -
USER2          USER1
USER3          USER3
If yes, then how? Is it the same as creating Organization? Instead of org name
will it contain User name?
I have a hierarchy defined in OID using manager attribute. Can I import the
same into OIM and get assigned the user to the respcetive managers?If yes, will be
very grateful if answer will be in a bit detail. As I searched
in OID connector but didnt get organization hierarchy import or attribute based
import.
Please correct me if my understanding is wrong.

Can you please elaborate above sentence a bit more in terms of LDAP hierarchy.
Will be more helpful if with a example :
as according to my understanding this feature allows cretaion of hierarchy like Dept (as u metioned) eg.
Department ----------Parent
D1 ----------None
D2 ----------D1
D3 ----------D2
And while cretaing the users in OIM this can be assigned using organization attribute of the OIM user form.
If I am correct then can we import above kind of organization hierarchy into OIM from LDAP?
As you suggested for user-manager kind of hierarchy manager attribute of OIM user form can be used.
But according to the connector documents the manager attribute can not be reconciled using LDAP
connector. Can we map this anyhow to the LDAP manager attribut so that while recociling itself the user
should have respective managers.

HR Analytics - Organization hierarchy

Need some help in configuring Department Based Organization hierarchy in OBIA 7.9.6.3… Im implementing OBIA HR Analytics with Peoplesoft as the data source...
After installation and configuration we loaded the data in the warehouse. But W_INT_ORG_DH table is not loaded… I somehow feel that the parameter values we set for $$TREE_SETID_NAME_LIST and $$TREE_STRUCT_ID_LIST are not correct…
Documentation doesn’t say from which table we need to query to get the values for these parameters…But the source tables to load dwh table are PS_DEPT_TBL, PSTREESTRCT, PSTREENODE, PSTREELEVEL.
We don’t know which column I should query to set the parameters…
Could you please let me know the table and column in Peoplesoft to set these parameter values..

Did you try doing the below steps
In Section 3.3.2.3 'How to Configure Department Trees and Business Unit Trees', the task should include the following additional configuration steps:
In DAC, go to the Design view, and select the appropriate custom container from the drop-down list.
Display the Tasks tab.
Select the task SDE_PSFT_InternalOrganizationDimension_Department, and display the Parameters subtab.
Use the $$TREE_SETID parameter to specify the tree set ID in the format '<setid>'.
Wrap the setid value in single quotation marks.If you have multiple trees, separate them using a comma. For example: 'SHARE', 'US', 'EU'.The default value of this parameter is 'SHARE'.
The above steps are mentioned in Release Notes
I had a similar issue and got it resolved by doing this.
