Organizational Units with Business Partner
Hi Experts,
I'm creating my organizational structure on CRM system: on transaction "PPOMA_CRM" I'm creating all the organizations I need. But I 'm facing with a problem: I'm not able to assign them a business partner. I mean: in the transaction "PPOMA_CRM" under the column "Business Partner" I'm not able to insert any business partner.
And on the other hand, if I go on transaction "BP" in order to define a new organization, when I select which is the BP role to use for the creation of the organization, I don't see BUP004.
Do you have any suggestions.
Why I can't see it?
And what I have to do to assign a business partner to an organization?

Please find below my answers:-
In a first moment I configured the HR-CRM integration and when I go on transaction PPOMA_CRM in order to display the Organizational Structure I can see, for each Organizational unit downloaded from HR, a business partner ID under the column "business partner". This is the same number ID which allows to identify the same Organizational Unit on transaction BP.
Answer- In Transaction BP you can find the same Org unit business prtner created in PPOMA_CRM.
Suppose you have created BP_Org in PPOMA_CRM which has got generated with certain BP number.But this will not reflect in transaction BP. All the Business Partners created under BP_Org will be getting reflected.
Now I deactivated the HR-CRM integration and when I create a new Organizational Unit on PPOMA_CRM I'm not able to fill the column "Business Partner".
Ans- If you have not maintained in HR-CRM Integration there will be no number range.
If I insert the Organizationa Unit ID (displayed on PPOMA_CRM) in transaction BP I don't get any results.
Ans- While searching in BP , first you donu2019t have option of searching BP with Org Unit ID but you will find number instead. But as I told you earlier this will search the Business Partner under your Root Organization in our case it is BP_Org. You cant search for BP_Org in Tx-BP
I need to assign a business partner to my organizational unit for escalation purposes since the escalation is succesfully only for the organizational units with that business partner ID, i.e. all the organizational units downloaded from HR.
So at the moment the escalation process doesn't work for the organizational units just created only on CRM standalone system.
I think it is possible to make it work also for these organizations, but I don't know how!

What is the reason you are using ONUMB = 2. Why are you not using ONUMBE = 1
Note on ONUMB and PNUMB u2013
1. For switch value 1, the internal interval is used.
2. For switch values 2 and 3, the interval is defined by switches HRALX/OSUBG and HRALX/PSUNG.
3. Additionally for switch values 2 and 3, a grouping must be created (transaction BUC2) for these intervals. So that the system can connect the grouping and number range interval, the name of the grouping must be identical to the name of the corresponding number range interval (the name of the grouping is in the first column of the table).
4. If type 3 is chosen (switch HRALX/ PNUMB=3) for the number assignment of business partners of the employee role, switch HRALX/PSUBG need to be created manually in table T77S0.

How to Create Organization unit with customised code?
Hi all,
My business requirement need to create a Organization unit with a customised report.
That customised report need to be developed in which i will be incorporating the code to create a new orgganization unit in sap
and also to assign it in the organization structure.

Sonal Jain.If I understand you correctly, you want to create a PROGRAM to create an Organization Unit (IT1000) and it's relation to it's parent Org.Unit (IT1001 with relation A_002).
Check out program RHCOPY00, and create a Z version adapted to your needs. -

For Agent Determination, relationships are created between SAP Organizational Objects (residing in BOR) and the Organizational Management objects.
The agents are found by tracing these relationships.

SEM-BCS how to make Consolidation Unit with Business Area
Hi all,
I am newbie in SEM-BCS and implementing BW-based BCS. Our situation is as follows.
Situation
- we have 7 companies worldwide and 4 different Business areas.
Every company consists of at least two business areas in R/3.
- we have sales transaction in FI among companies.
requirement
- we need consolidated F/S in whole consolidation group and consolidated F/S in Business area level.
actually, we are planning to make the consolidation unit in company level.
Do we have to break down consolidation unit in business area? or just breakdown category solves our requirement?
If we have sales transaction even between business areas within certain company, do we have to make it in business area?Following are the answer to your questions
Q: What to do for using this cube in BCS?
A: Add the business area to the cube. Generate the data basis and the business area gets added to all ODS/DSO , virtual cube.
Suggestion: To avoid deleting the Profit center cube, since you can reduce the complication.
Q: Is it the problem about DATA BASIS Role?
A: No. Assign the role of subassignment or consolidation unit as needed. If you are giving the role of consolidation unit to business area, you need to insert the char Partner business area also in the cube.
Q: Is there some materials to solve this situation?
A: Refer the matrix consolidation material in help.sap.com from BCS portion. As per SAP literature any relevant object can be made as second consolidation unit such as business area, functional area etc. Dont fear. Once you start it the issue will be resolved in few days.
Expected complication:
If you are going to make business area as subassignment then it is simple. But if you are making business area as Consolidation unit, go for partner business area in cube.
Ensure with your BI consultant that all BCS messages are addressed in BI infoobject for business area specifically.
Things can get complicated only if we allow for it get complicated. But you are doing great.. Keep posted.. Good luck.!!!.. -
Problem with Business partner flow from R/3 to CRM

We have configured PIDE correctly but the problem is when I am creating any customer in R/3 we are getting DUMP.

Using t-code SCC3 in both CRM and ISU to get the source client used for client copy. Get source client for profile SAP_ALL.
2. RFC Destinations
Use t-code SM59 and check if the following RFC destinations have been created:
CRM
o R/3 Destination for CRM e.g. CRTCLNT240
o R/3 Destination for ISU e.g. ISTCLNT240
o Logical Destination for Middleware R&R queues one for current client and one for client 000. e.g. SAPCRM_MW_RR_240, SAPCRM_MW_RR_000
o TCP/IP Destination for IPC dispatcher e.g. IPC_RFC_DISPATCHER

Convert Logical System name in application tables
Use t-code BDLS to convert logical system names in the application system.

2. Enter new logical system name e.g. CRTCLNT240.
3. Select radio button Conversion of Client-Dependent Tables and execute the transaction.
This process needs to be carried out 4 times: twice in CRM and twice in ISU.

o Click on get values button to refresh logical system details.

Problem with business partner activation
Hello experts!
I try to archive business partner but face with one issue.
My steps:
1) set the indicator Archiving flag in the Business Partner dialog on the tab page Status
2) in the initial screen of the archive administration (transaction SARA), enter the object name CA_BUPA
3) create a variant (add BP number)
But log is empty
This BP isn’t assign to any document.
Did I make mistake?

Problem with Business Partner List - State
I'm using SAP B1 2007A. We recently added several International countries and their regions (states). We are having a problem with the state that appears on the Business Partner List (list that appears when you search using part of a company name or *). The query that gets the data does not take into consideration the Country where the state is located. The result is that the query returns the first state it finds based on the state code not the state associated with the country.
Is there a fix for this query or is there a way I can adjust the query to get the correct state results in the Business Partner List.

It would make more sense to speak to a technical resource who is familiar with your system. Based on the error, it looks like you have connection issues in your landscape - I'm assuming you have CRM & ERP systems communicating and it looks like there is a problem with their connectivity. Best get some basis resource to help you out.

Issue with Business Partner in SRM
Hi Experts,
we are sending Business partner data from one client to another client in SRM.
In the target client for the tab "Control" in the Business Hours,when I click on the calling hours button we are getting an warning message "Assignment of appointment rules to rule ID incorrect"
we are sending the data related to business hours thru database tables CRMM_BUT_FRG0060 and CRMM_BUT_FRG0061.
Can any provide me with a solution?
