Organizer Error message importing to Editor

Okay I have pse 5 on my windows computer, I just upgraded to CS4. Now I have installed it on my computer. When I open the organizer, select my photo to be edited by CS4, under Edit there is an option for Photoshop along with Editor. When I click on it, I get this error message An error occurred attempting to edit to the external editor. I click okay and Im taken back to the organizer. Nothing goes to cs4. Do you have any idea what has happened? I would love to continue using the organizer and it was suggested that I select my photos, drag and drop into Photoshop which does work. However I first select my photos and put them on the page as I see fit, save the file, close all the photos. I then go to the kit I want in the organizer and select the papers I want and drop them into Photoshop. I add those to my page and close the paper files. Then I go back and try to get the png files and none of those with drag into CS4. I have to open them through File open in CS4. So I figured if I got the option part to work, Id solve my other issue.

My advice is uninstall the current version of MediaSource, go to the downloads page (click the link Support > Downloads on this page), and get:

2. Creative MediaSource Player/Organizer 3.30.2
3. Creative Zen and NOMAD Jukebox plugin 2.00.9 for Creative MediaSource
Install . then connect the player to the PC. Then install 2. and 3. (the player must be connected for 2. to verify you have a Creative product).

Pages simply won't support a table with that many rows. If you need that many, you must use another application.
Perhaps the originator could use a tabbed list rather than a table. That's the only way you will be able to contain a list that long in Pages. You can do the conversion yourself if you open the Word document in LibreOffice, Copy the Table, Paste the Table into Numbers, Export the Numbers doc to CSV, and import to Pages. In Pages Find and Replace the Commas with Tabs.
There are probably other ways, but that's what comes to mind here.

Looks like. I tried in the TextEdit format tab to set all the combinations while opening the file, like plain text, rtf and html without success. Always I get the same signs.

I suddenly started getting the same error message and was reaching my wits end in trying to find a solution.
This may sound bizarre, and you may not have the same situation as I found, but check your system/Windows date setting.
Somehow, the year on my system had become 2096. I corrected it, and bingo! PSE 8 Editor works again.

Image Capture Error Message Import Error -9912

I was backing up the photos and videos from my iPhone 5s to an external hard drive that I have. I have done this many times before without a problem. Today, I encountered an error. It said "Import Error (-9912)" and 1,025 items were not imported.
Please could someone explain what this error message means and if possible give me some tips to solve it.

Error message Importing clips

I have an external drive with quicktime clips on it. I could not use the log and transfer tool to bring these in I kept getting an error message stating "Clips contain unsupported media or has an invalid directory structure. Please choose a folder whose directory structure matches supported media". These are .mov files why is log and transfer not allowing me to import? The clips are DVC PROHD 720p 60 I am able to import (only one at a time) using MPEG Stream Clip exporting as Apple DVCPRO 720p 60.

You have to copy the entire card that the camera records on with all the sub folders. Simply copying the clips will cause this error.

ERROR MESSAGE IMPORTING CD

For the very first time ever, I've gotten a message, as soon as I try to import a cd, which states, "An error occured while trying to import the file... The current encoder settings for bit rate and sample rate are not valid for this file". WHAT!!!!!! I've NEVER had any trouble importing my CD collection into iTunes. Especially not while importing with the AAC Encoder. Does anyone have a clue as to why we're now getting this error message? Is there a fix to this problem? The bit and sample rates have ALWAYS been valid before. So why the change now. Could this be some sort of back-handed way from Apple, to have us stop putting our CD collections into iTunes? (I know it's a stretch) When I use the LOSSLESS Encoder or MP3 at higher bit rates everything works fine. But, as everyone is well aware this encoding takes up way more space, therefore less tunes in our iPods. I vaguely remember reading somewhere that eventually we won't be able to transfer our CD's (that we payed for) onto digital, portable music players. We'll have to buy everything from places like the iTunes store. I've also heard from different people that eventually, we won't even own anything anymore. We'll only be able to rent music, videos, dvd's, etc. We won't be able to store anything permanently onto our hard drives. If you want to listen to your favorite music, you'll have to pay everytime for the same songs over and over again. Does anyone at Apple know what this problem is all about? I'd appreciate any help whatsoever. Thanks.

I don't think so, it's saying the iTunes Library file cannot be saved. The disk you are using is full....

OWB error message - Import service related

Hi,
I get this message when I try to use the Import Metadata wizard in OWB - 11.
Import service failed when try to make connection to the metadata location and got the following error:java.lang.NullPointerException .
I have also registered the user and tested the corresponding user connection.
Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

Hi,
I have got this issue resolved by installing the Oracle 11 E-Edition . Guess that's the only way this can be resolved. As though the Personal edition offers most of the Enterprise Edition options , including OLAP , there is an issue when owb queries the v$version view of the personal edition (searches for 'Oracle%' and does not get a result) due to which this error arises.
If there are any other alternate approaches , do suggest for the common good.

Error Message in UIX Editor when using a custom parameter to a template

In my UIX template, I have a custom attribute "selectedTab", as advised in the documentation:

I use it in the UIX file, again as advised by the doc:

It works but I get the following message when I compile or try to GUI edit:
Error(0,0): Attribute selectedTab not defined on element myTemplate:SalmonTrap
What do I do wrong?

That should work and not show the usage of selectedTab as an error. (You may need to restart JDev after creating the template for it to work right.) In fact, when you select the SalmonTrap component in the structure pane, the property inspector should actually show you that selectedTab is an attribute you can set. I can make this work.
One other thing to check: is the UIT in the same project as the UIX file? I'm not positive this is required for the design-time to work, but it may be.

Error Message - Import Manager

Helllo All
I recieve a message when trying to import some records
The Map cannot be loaded because the table "Record" is not a source.
We are "missing" the table "Record" from the dropdown.
Can some one tell me how I can add/fine this table again?

Hi,
In your case the "Record" disappears whenever you have only one record in your XML file. Instead of displaying nodes under "Record", it displays all fields under its parent node (let us say "Records").This situation occurs specifically whenever you are trying to import an XML file without refering to an XML Schema.
To make things clear further: You created a map with an XML file that has more than one record i.e., with a file that has the "Record" node. So, whenver you try to open the map with another XML file that has only one record it fails as there is no "Record" node.
Solution: Always refer to an XML Schema. This way, you are enforcing the XML structure i.e., "Record" node will be available even if you have only one record in your input XML file.
Please let me know in case you need more details in this regard.

Error Message : "Importer detected a generic error" Please Help.

My problem is most likely very simple, with the research I've done I've concluded it is one of 2 options(probably):
1. The project settings are wrong - I've tried quite a few within NTSC(where I should be) but the same error occurs. I am using videos taken by my Iphone 4s. I'm just not sure on any of it and couldnt seem to find an answer online.
2. I didn't import them correctly. I've been importing them simply just by clicking on the files from my iPhone's folder while it is plugged in and dragging them into another foler on my computer. I know this isn't correct but I didn't have a importing software and I could still watch them on Windows Media Player so I thought it was fine.
It could be something else but I have everything installed for it to work so I'm not sure. I may need to download a program that allows me to convert specific properties or something?
I'm pretty confused with all the properties to videos and video formatting so I'm having difficulty solving this on my own. Thanks for the help (:

Importing Script file for speech analysis - error message

I'd love to get some assistance to get past an error message in Premiere Pro CC, "Matching scene number not found". However, I've named the scene number and the clip to match, simply as "1". What am I missing? NOTE: the scene is 33 pages long as this is a long speech that I've transcribed and would like to match up to the video clip . . . just in case that is an issue that someone has experienced in the past. But I'm hoping length of clip isn't a problem (as this is a typical work flow scenario for me).

Error message when opening a Pages Document

I unintentionally added a .doc extension to a pages document. I erased the .doc extension, and now when I try to open it I get an error message "Import Error, Unknown Error".
What shoudl I do to be able to open my document?

When you deleted the .doc extension did you then type in .pages? Otherwise your Mac & Pages won't know it's a Pages document.
That is assuming is not a Pages document you export as Word & want to change back to Pages.

Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro - I/O error message when saving

I'm trying to save an 823KB PDF file that I've worked on many times before and saved successfully in the past, but now when I try to save I get an error message that says "The docuement can not be saved. A file I/O error has occured."
I really don't want to loose the 2hrs worth of work I put into this doc. today- help! I'm on my local server at work. Here is a list of all the things I've already tried:
1.changing the file name - I get the same I/O error
2. saving as a Word doc. - I get a message that says "Save As failed to process this documents. No file was created."
3. When I copy & paste into Word I lose all my formatting and images
4. copy & paste into a new PDF doc. - I get an error message from an "editor" saying that I can only author documents up to 20 pages. I don't have an option to copy and paste select pages.. only to copy the file. I did figure out a way to copy the file and move it into a new blank PDF but I still loose all the formatting and images in the file.
5. This is an 87 page document that I'm continuing to build so printing isn't going to work
6. Searching google or this forum- I see this problem posted elsewhere, but no viable solutions posted.

You might try running CHKDSK on the disk to where you try to save the file. You might have a corrupted file directory or a damaged track on that disk. I urge you to backup what you can before trying this.
