Organizer in elements 10 will not activate

I am using Windows 7 and after loading Elements 10 I can not get the Organizer to load. I am not sure if it ever installed. How do I get the organizer to work? I never had any trouble with Elements 8.

Bypass the Unwelcome Screen by creating Desktop shortcuts for the Organizer and the Editor, and restarting your computer.
The Editor's executable is:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 10\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe"
The Organizer's executable is:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Elements 10 Organizer\PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe"
The Unwelcome Screen leaves a zombie process running which prevents the actual program from launching again.

I am having the same issue and all since I updated to the Maverick OS (well it seems that way anyway). I am currently going through the process of repairing permissions, removing other pieces of 'non standard' software on the Mac, uninstalling Elements 11, doing a safe boot and then a download of the package again and trying a completley new install. If this doesn't work it will be a fresh user account and start again.
There were some very helpful hints from folks about remmoving other unnecessary software which did help stablise other issues but I still cannot get Element to work.

Adobe premiere Elements 12 will not open editor

I had Adobe Premiere Elements 11 on my laptop and worked fine. Decided to upgrade to Elements 12 and did but version 12 will not open editor, says sign in, I sign in but no editor. Organizer opens and loaded my Photos and videos. I purchased full retail version for download. My laptop runs windows 8.1 and has an Intel Core i5 dual core processor and 4GB ram.

Have you gone to Computer/Manager/Event Viewer/Windows Logs/Applications and looked for error entries that appear to be associated with this problem?
Did you purchase Photoshop Elements 12 as well as Premiere Elements 12, and does Photoshop Elements 12 Full Editor open whereas Premiere Elements 12 will not open to its Expert or Quick workspaces?
You have probably tried it, but can you open to the Premiere Elements workspaces from the Elements Organizer workspace?

My recently purchased Photoshop Elements 12 will not open.

My recently purchased Photoshop Elements 12 will not open. Clicking to open, will not reveal the usual “edit” or “organize” choice windows. Only the main “edit” working window opens. In a moment, a smaller window within will also open. It states “Photoshop Elements 12 Editor has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.”
I am running it on a Dell laptop with six gigs of RAM and a Core i5 processor.
Should I attempt to reinstall? During original installation, the only thing I was not asked was to give blood! So, if reinstalling on the same machine is the solution, will Adobe allow this?

I have tried and failed. It was loaded from disc just purchased at Best buy. It loaded fine but will not start up at all. I have looked for the launch program and tried other methods but no success yet.

Elements window will not maximize, help please

For some reason my photoshop elements window will not maximize. The editor workspace will just fine, but not the organizer. I am using elements 6 and Vista. Anyone else seen this happen? I can see it on my task pane and it previews the screen for me, but when I click it, nothing happens.

My Elements 11 will not convert my Elements 9 catalog

Elements 11 would not convert my 9 catalog. It just locked up and stoped with a message to go back and recover everythin in 9 and try again. My Element 9 will not even start so I removed from my PC and attempted a reload. It will not reload. I thnk I have over 12 years worth of loading and tagging 30,400 pictures. I'm in panic mode. I probably have over 1,000 tags with most pictures haveing three or more tags. Do I now need to remove Elements 11 and try to reload 9 and do a recover?

It’s often a question of needing full permission settings and the easiest way to make it work is as an administrator directly from the desktop which bypasses the welcome screen background processes.
Make a shortcut for organizer as follows:
On Windows right-click anywhere on the desktop and choose New >> Shortcut
Browse to Computer OS C:
Find the PSE Organizer application in Program Files or Program Files (x86) on Windows 7 - 64 bit.
C: >> Program Files (x86) >> Adobe >> Elements 11 Organizer
Within the Elements 11 Organizer folder find the application PhotoshopElementsOrganizer (not Photoshop Elements 11.0)
Select (highlight) PhotoshopElementsOrganizer and click Next
Then click Finish.
Now right-click on your new desktop icon and choose “Run As Administrator” Then authorize by clicking yes in the User Account Control dialog.
From the Organizer menu click:
File >> Manage Catalogs
Then click the “Convert” button
Select your desired catalog from the list of previous versions of PSE to highlight it then click the “Convert” button down below it
You should receive a message when the conversion has been successfully completed and your earlier catalog will be automatically re-named. Choose the new name from the list and click the “Open“ button and you are good to go.

Is the internet working when you are entering your password? In PSE12 and PSE13, you need to be online first-time when you register/activate your product. It is made mandatory for reasons I don't know.

That's why I included the image because it is not listed in Task Manager. That would be easy.It can be found in Organizer and then Edit - Preferences. Find the tab on Auto Analyze and turn-off the At Start-Up option. You can then download Raw 7.2

Go to the Processes tab in Task Manager. There you will find it running. Kill it.

The photo option in ICloud on my computer will not activate (it is grayed out) after I load the Icloud download. My Ipad and iphone are sharing my photo stream photos but cannot get to my computer. I read all the instructions and reloaded Cloud 2 x but again will not activate the photo sharing piece.

I don't have a Recently Added playlist. However, I discovered that the file I had named Eating Healthy was given the name You Can Enjoy Eating Healthy when it copied to iTunes. I'm guessing iTunes pulled the full name of the piece from the internet. Upshot--the mp3 did transfer to iTunes on all 3 tries, but I was looking in my alphabetized list under E, not Y, so I didn't see it there. Thanks for your help.
