Organizer will not show any pictures in My Catalog

I am a brand-new user to PSE. I have PSE 9 running on my iMac.
I tried to use the Organizer to import my photos from my SD card. It copied the photos just fine and put up the popup box saying that it was going to import the photos in My Catalog and did I want it to show only new files. I said yes. My Catalog is not showing ANY photos! I have tried optimizing and repairing the catalog. I tried reconnecting missing files and it says there are no missing files. I set it to View All Files.
I'm really at a loss here!

OK Problem SOLVED!
First, I reinstalled the software.
Secondly, I downloaded and installed the Camera Raw Plugin which will import NEF files.

Elements 5 - Organizer will not show thumbnails

Recently moved Elements 5 to my new laptop - On the laptop the organizer will not show photos in any view other than single picture. Anything smaller shows the hour glass [also shows on the collections icons]. I deleated the first catalog transfer and have been only using new photos transfered from my D-50. It will run full screen shows just nothing smaller that a single picture view. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the Elements software.
I have unchecked the filer checker.
Systems is a Vista home premium 64 bit, 4 gig of ram, Lenovo ideapad laptop 5800T processor. Version 5.0.2
Any ideas?

I can't be sure this is the problem, but ...
Is this the first time you have opened PSE5 on this computer? If so, it truly is generating the thumbnails. Your statement about how in single image mode the thumbnail appears is a symptom of this phase of the operation. Just let it run. It will finish, and the problem will be gone.

Bookmarks toolbar Firefox 10.0.2/OSX 10.6.8 - gone. View Toolbars Bookmarks Toolbar - checked. Dragging URL's to bookmarks toolbar area no longer works. Gray area appears/disappears when checked/unchecked but will not show any or accept new bookmarks.

My bookmarks toolbar in Firefox 10.0.2 Mac OSX 10.6.8 suddenly disappeared. View>Toolbars>Bookmarks Toolbar is checked. Dragging URL's to the bookmarks toolbar area no longer works. The gray area appears and disappears when checking/unchecking under View/Toolbars menu, but will not show any or accept addition of bookmarks.

Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
*Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize"
*Check that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
*If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the toolbar palette in the customize window to the Bookmarks Toolbar
*If missing items are in the toolbar palette then drag them back from the Customize window on the toolbar
*If you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar set up

Do you get this window when you hold down the Command+Option keys and launch iPhoto?
If not then you're not holding down both keys long enough.

I have tried to reset the network settings, I just restored the whole phone when I transferred my info to it. If anyone knows of anything else please advise.

IMPORT ISSUE: LR 5 NOT SHOWING ANY PICTURES FROM ANY FOLDERS ON IMPORT

Hi there I am using LR5 on Macbook pro OSX vs 10.9.5. I am attempting to import photos from a folder on my hard drive. I cannot get LR5 to recognise any photographs in the folder. Indeed it will not recognise any photographs in any of my system folders or on my external drive. I have checked for XMP files as I heard they can be a conflict but there are none in my folders. I have attempted importing via different methods including drag and drop onto the LR icon but to no avail. This is confusing as all was working fine until recently. I am in desperate need to get this fixed as I am on a shoot tomorrow and need LR! Please can anyone help? Many thanks Steve Please see a screengrab below.

OK...very strange. I had the 'Destinations' tab collapsed. When I clicked to expand it the photos suddenly showed up!
I was attempting to 'Add' photos before (in which case the Destinations is irrelevant) In ''Copy'' or 'Move' the destinations seems to want to be expanded as a tab. Now when I go back into 'Add' the picture imports are working. Thanks for your help and I hope that this might help someone else.

You can use these steps to check if images are blocked:
*Open the web page that has the images missing in a browser tab.
*Click the website favicon ([[Site Identity Button]]) on the left end of the location bar.
*Click the "More Information" button to open the "Page Info" window with the Security tab selected (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
*Go to the <i>Media</i> tab of the "Tools > Page Info" window.
*Select the first image link and scroll down through the list with the Down arrow key.
*If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.

ATV2 - Will not show any video w/o reboot

I have 2 Apple TV devices (both are 2nd generation).
One of them is fine. But the other one will not show a signal after about a day of no use. I have to unplug the power, then plug it back in to get a signal out of it.
The other day, I watched the LED light as I was trying to turn it on. It just flashes when I press the power button on the remote, so it is indeed getting my remote commands. After I try to turn it on about 5-7 times, the LED stays lit. But the TV still says "no signal". If I unplug it from the power, then plug it back in, only then it comes back up and seems to work ok. But if we don't use it again for about a day, when we come back to it.. we get the same thing and it needs to be unplugged again and plugged back in (power).
I tried to reset to factory settings, but that didn't help.
This started happening after the 4.2 update (I think that was about 3 updates ago).
Any ideas I can try?

As I see this I mostly suspect one of three reasons
• iMovie Event's and or iMovie Project's folders have/has been moved/altered on DeskTop/Finder - DON'T - but try to move everything back exactly where it was
• iMovie pref. file got corrupted (very easily done by e.g. Panic/Force halt's) - trash it when iMovie is NOT running
• Material used in Movie Project is located on device not accessibly any longer. E.g. one used audio from Audio-CD then ejected the CD. iMovie (Project's) Don't do ANY copy of the used material - only point's to where it found it and if external hard disks, Audio-CDs etc are disconnected then the iMovie Project get's lost and it has no function to try to find it (at all).

Safari Will Not Show Any Cached Web Pages From Any Website.

Basically my problem is exactly as stated in the heading. Any web page I try to view a cached snapshot of returns: "Your search did not match any documents." Up until a week or so ago, I could cache any web page, unless it truly was to old to display a cached snapshot. It would never highlight the key words typed in the search bar when the cached option was selected, but it always showed the page. Now it will not cache any page.
The links are not broken, because I can search every page from my desktop computer with no problems. It's only on my iPhone. I could try to view 5,000 cached web pages, and every one of them returns the same message: "Your search did not.....". I've cleared my history, cache, cookies, as well as log off, and power down the phone, and turn it back on. Nothing fixes the issue. I have the latest update, and have no other problems with my phone at all. Has anyone else had this problem? Any solutions? This is very frustrating. A google search turned up nothing. This has to have happened to more people than just me. Hopefully I don't have to use the cache feature to find the answer:)

I would just explain that this just started happening, that nothing has changed on the phone, that it is an original iPhone and I wondered if they are implementing a change in coverage with their Edge network in my area.
If you restore your phone, you will be given an option to back up your phone at the beginning of the process (see step 6 here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414). You will be given the option to restore to that backup at the end of the restore process. Your messages are stored in the backup so restoring to the backup will return the messages to your phone. Be sure to import your photos and videos to your computer (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083) and back up your contacts somewhere before restoring your phone as these sometimesget lost in the restore process.

Whenever I shop thru Amazon, Firefox does not show ANY pictures of the products I'm trying to buy. Ever. But, IE works just fine. What can be done to fix this?

OS=Windows7.
There must be an easy setting somewhere that I'm missing, because my wife's laptop works when she shops on Amazon and she's using Firefox with Win7, as well. On my PC however, (IE) works just fine, but Firefox will not show images of the products I want to buy.

I have photoshop 13 and it will not load any pictures into the organizer. How do I fix this error.

I keep getting the error that nothing was imported due to files or folders selected to import did not contain any supported file types or the files are already in this catalog. It started two days ago ( I have had elements 13 for about 6 weeks now) after I put my photo card in to download as usual. I have used photoshop elements for years and know what I'm doing. I also have Photoshop 12 that works just fine and will download these same files with no issues. I am using hp laptop and windows 8.1. Please help. I have thought about uninstalling and re installing but I have a lot of effects that have been added already and it is time consuming to do it again.Thank you for any advice

This is often a feature of faulty battery. Try to Restore your iPhone with iTunes on your computer. See if better. If still problem, make Genius reservation or set up Service and take or send your iPhone to Apple for resolution under Warranty.

Updated my computer and will not show any images or documents unless they are on desktop only HELP!

Since I have updated my computer I can not find any images that I have saved in the past unless I have saved them directly in a folder on the desktop. I have tried searching all files and it only shows what I have on my desk top. Any help would be great!
