Organzing & setup for many email accounts
Hi,
I run a number of websites/domains and each has a number of email accounts that I need to adminster. In my last email client on a PC, I could create seperate "boxes" for each domain and then in each box, create as many email accounts and addresses as needed.
How can I do this with Mail without logging out and switching users? It seems like I can create as many seperate email accounts, but they're all lumped in together in one box. In other words, I don't want to check 32 email accounts when I'm just trying to check the 4 accounts for www.domain-x.com, and then afterward check for www.domain-z.com's accounts - without signing off.

Note sure what G mail is, but if it involves another isp email provider not interested, I have multiple accounts as a garbage dump for spam possibilities too much spam on one account bye bye. Usually 2 main email accounts though. btw, not a memory issue either. still plenty left. Was looking at the contacts thread and there is receiving/sending issues with email since 2.0 update anyway.

Best setup for multiple email accounts
I have 8 email accounts in my iphone 3G and it seems that many times it gets "hung" up on the first one (gmail) because it just says "connecting". The only way to solve it is to turn the phone off and then on again, which I'm doing several times a day. For now, I have every account set to manual fetch. Any suggestions on how to solve this issue, and the best way to setup the fetching, etc.?

Setup failed - Thunderbird failed to find settings for your email account, what does that mean?
After completing the setup i get the following message:
Thunderbird failed to find settings for your email account. I don't know where to look for a solution to this problems & it's very frustrating since I'd like to start using Thunderbird.

I've got an iPad and iPhone 4S, both of which are set up for facetime. When someone calls me, both the iPad and phone ring, even though the phone is set to receive facetime calls on the number and the iPad is set for an email account.
How can I change the setup so on the email only the iPad rings and on the phone number only the phone rings?No it's not stealing. They have an allowance that you can share with so many computers/devices. You'll have to authorize her computer to play/use anything bought on your acct. You can do this under the Store menu at top when iTunes is open on her computer.
As far as getting it all on her computer....I think but I am not sure (because I don't use the feature) but I think if you turn on Home Sharing in iTunes it may copy the music to her computer. I don't know maybe it just streams it. If nothing else you can sign into your acct on her computer and download it all to her computer from the cloud. Not sure exactly how to go about that, I haven't had to do that yet. I wonder if once you authorize her computer and then set it up for automatic downloads (under Edit>Preferences>Store) if everything would download. Sorry I'm not much help on that. -

Post relates to: Treo 700p (Verizon)I'm not sure with wireless sync, but with palm's versamail, you could set up a total of 8 email accounts (7 pop/imap accounts and 1 exchange server account).
If wireless sync won't allow you to setup another account, you may consider using versamail for your other accounts.

How do I setup my Virgin email account on my iphone 4s?
My friend as actually just bought her 4S and is wondering how to setup her Virgin Email account. I have a googlemail so it's quite obvious for me as there's a selection for it in the menu. But when I go to other i'm unsure what to tell her to put in as it's asking me whether to setup as imap or Pop and I really have no idea as Google is self explanatorty.

I'm sure this is an issue for many of us, but I cant find a solution for this on the net.
So I had set up multiple email accounts. My main account is gmail, but I'm using several others. The smtp server had to be the same which was from my ISP for all email accounts (apart from gmail which has it's own).
Now, when I send email from these accounts, the sender's address will always be ***@virginmedia.co.uk. Obviously, since thats what the smtp is for.
But what if I want to send emails from these accounts and want to be the sender accordingly? like ***@yahoo.com or ***@freemail.com etc...
Is there a way to get around these? If they dont have their own smtp servers? Or they can only be used to send emails through their web-based email page?

Different Notification for different email accounts
On my old blackberry I was able to set up different number of vibration for my different email account so I would know right away which account the email was on. Is it possible to do the same on the Z10?

I just got an iphone recently and I started my apple id using my gmail email address. I decided to change email from gmail to icloud so I setup an icloud email account and now I have two apple id accounts. All my primary information is in the gmail apple id account and i just want to merge the two together. I've tried changing the apple id on the main account to the icloud email, but it says it already exists. How can I merge these two accounts without deleting one or the other?

pallhuesYou can't merge iCloud accounts.
You could move all your calendars contacts etc over from the account you don't want to the one you do, it's not simple but about all I can suggest. -
