Orientation lock control - my iPhone 5 will not swivel to landscape since ios7! How do I fix this?

Orientation sensor is not working...since the iOS7 update my swivelling capabilities have been locked into the portrait profile and I can't find how to fix this problem. There is a small icon in the top bar with a lock and a circular arrow around it.

if clicking the rotation lock in control center doesnt work do this
reset all settings
settings-general-reset-reset all settings
now reconnect to wifi
settings- wifi- click network name- enter password - join

If so, try resetting it. If the computer is having any other problem, take it to the Apple store to have it checked out.
Reset Password starting from Recovery HD
Start the computer,then press and hold down command and R keys to start into recovery partition.
When you see the Apple logo, release the keys.
Wait until OS X Utilities window shows up.
Move the mouse to the menubar at the top and click "Utilities", then select "Terminal"
from the drop down.
Terminal window will appear.
Type in resetpassword and press enter on the keyboard.
Leave the Terminal window open.
Reset Password Utility window will open with Macintosh HD selected.
Select the user account from the popup menu box.
Enter a new password.
Reenter the new password for the user.
Enter a hint.
Click the "Save" button.
Click  in the menubar and select Restart.
Log in.
If Keychain dialog box appears, select “Create New Keychain”.

settings - message - imessage - is turned ON? Do you have it activated?
Make sure you have a good wifi or cellular data connection.
Also you can only imessage other apple products who have imessage on.

I purchased an iphone 4 in July 2012. I set it up to synch with Windows Outlook on my 2009 HP laptop computer (Windows 7). This seemed to work fine.
A few weeks ago, I was notified that my itunes or iphone software needed updating. With my iphone plugged into my computer, I performed the update. When it was over, I had an error message on my iphone indicating that it needed to be reset. I did this and there was no information on my iphone. I then synched with the laptop and everything appeared to be restored.
HOWEVER, now when I synch, items that I enter on my laptop show up on my iphone BUT items that I enter on my iphone do NOT show up on my laptop. How do I fix this?

All content bought/downloaded from iTunes is tied to the account that downloaded it and it can't be transferred to a different account - so you will need to authorise your old account on that computer if you want to transfer its purchases over.

Here's a screenshot... it attempts to pull form iCloud but fails... so then moves to the next song after a couple seconds.. other songs that are failing do same.
Btw, tried deleting all copies form iTunes and iPhone then re-downloading... no love. Same issue (exact same incorrect artwork)!

After resetting ipod touch 1st gen, it will not register to itunes anymore. How do I fix this?

I reset my ipod 1st gen and all settings after it started getting finiky when trying to open apps and it wouldnt let me download apps from the store. But when I tried to connect my ipod to the computer again it would only register to my PC but not to itunes like before. Firefox gives me an error and will not connect to the internet. How can I fix this?

I have uninstalled and reinstalled but Firefox will still not connect. It gives me the inital start error message of "not being able to connect" etc. I am able to use IE and there is no connectivity issues at all. How do I fix this? I really prefer Firfox!

AHA!!! I had the same problem with no answer so I started doing some research. Apparently people with McAfee and Norton were having similar problems so I started there. I opened my McAfee and went into the Web and Email Protection. Click on Firewalls; click on Program Permissions. Scroll down to find Firefox. If you're having the same problem I did, it will say blocked. Change to allow. That should solve it!! I wonder if MS paid McAfee!!?? Hope it helps!

on left side of your phone you have volume controll an right above that is a small button an if you see a orange or red dot you are in silent mode flip the switch up an it will remove silent .
