When selecting edited foto's to go to the timeline from the media box, the photo reverts to what seems to be the original, how do I get the edited version in the timeline. The edit is mainly sharpening done in iPhoto.

Over 65, you should know that video is about 1/3 megapixel, which is FAR from you original. Also, only judge by what you see on a TV as the playback on a computer monitor is far from ideal.

If it is a SAP Transaction iView, you just have to open the iView and change the following property : Transaction Code.

Song imports as little blip instead of editable timeline

I'm importing an AIFF file. It plays in GB but does not display as horizontal orange image of the sound file's wave form. This behavior has occurred twice so far. What does it mean? How do I import this song so that it is editable?

I'd say it's not a bug, since so far you are the only one I have seen reporting it, more likely some sort of glitch. It is certainly not a "feature"
Try repairing permissions and see if that helps. If not, try logging in as a different user and see if that makes a difference. If nothing helps, I think you may have to trash GB and re-install it.

Post parked document with display doc option instead of edit doc option

Do you know if there is any tcode exist to post parked document in which user can display the document first and review it before posting it. There is a tcode FBV0 to post park document but this transaction takes you to the edit parked document(FV50) when user tries to review it. Which is the violation of SOX.
Per SOX if user has post access should not allowed to park and vise versa.
Is there any user exit for FBV0 where we can replace FV50(Edit parked doc) with FBV3(Display parked doc)? Or any other suggestion.

Stuck with FIPP Workflow. You need to do Business Object Binding from Workflow to Task. This can be done by checking the Binding of TS20000166 in Workflow Template WS20000075. Once you do that you will get a link. If you click on the link you will get the TCODE in display Mode. I was expecting some mails from you regarding queries:)))). SharePoint 2013 July 2014 CU - People Picker fields empty in Edit forms

After applying the July 2014 CU for SharePoint server, I discovered that Person or Group (People Picker) fields are not populated with server values in list item Edit forms. However, the field values can be viewed in list views
and in Display forms. I examined the client side code and determined that field data is not being returned from the server for Edit forms.
In a test environment, I uninstalled SharePoint 2013, reinstalled SP 2013 with SP1 and the issue went away. I then applied the May 2014, June 2014, and July 2014 CUs. The issue did not exist after applying the May and June CUs. It
did exist after applying the July 2014 CU.

There is a workaround for this issue. It's a little convoluted, but hey, it's SharePoint. First, you must have a list that has at least one entry in it.
To begin with, you must first
have a list with at least one item in the list.
Next you edit the item with a role that has at least Design privilege, but don't save your changes.
Instead you Edit the page so you can then edit that web part. You can edit the page by clicking on the cog icon and selecting Edit Page
Edit the web part itself
Under “Miscellaneous” section on the just exposed web part window, select "Server Render (Server Render)" in the drop down labeled “CSR Render Mode
Click on “Apply” button within the web part
Save
I was told also the Sept CU would fix the issue but it is under review and to wait until the first of October. Incidentally we found that if you put the entire list into Quick Edit mode, the issue does
not appear.

After latest Photoshop CC update, I can no longer edit a raw file in Lightroom 4 as a smart object

I updated PS this morning, since then I am no longer able to edit a file in LIghtroom 4 as a smart object in Photoshop CC. Photoshop will open, but after some time passes, Lightroom 4 gives an error that Photoshop cannot be launched. If I choose "edit in photoshop" from lightroom, instead of "edit as smart object", the file opens fine.

In Browser Editing-June 2014 Muse Update-Only Working With Widget Menu

As a non-BC user, I'm now able to accomplish in browser editing from my hosting company. However, I found that I cannot navigate to any pages that are not attached to a widget menu and edit them. Clicking on an in-website link not associated with the widget menu will take me to that page but not allow any editing to be done. It also does not load the page name in the address bar.
I did find a work-around with this: change the page name in the address bar to the non-menu-widget webpage name. It loads the page and allows editing. Not really user-friendly when trying to teach my clients how to conduct their own website edits. You have to supply them with every non-menu-widget page name to edit them. Ugh!
Does anybody know if Adobe is working on this? Can anyone suggest an easier work-around?

Could you share what site you are trying to edit? I haven't been able able to reproduce this problem.
When hovering over an object (text frame in this example) that has a hyperlink, a "Click" button should appear that allows the user to follow the link instead of editing the link text.
If only part of the text contains the hyperlink, the click button does not appear, but a small arrow shows when hovering over the link indicating that the click will follow the link.

Bug #1: When not in editing mode the cursor keys must move the focus from a cell to cell. Instead an edit mode is activated
Bug #2: There is no way to leave cell edit mode using keyboard. Esc must cancel the edit, Return-key must confirm at switch to the next cell. Have to use mouse...

I just tried on my VM and i don't see this behaviour on 3.0.
What i do see is that Bug number 9201495 is still available although i reported this issue on 2.1

Another "Edit In Photoshop CS3" Problem?

I've scanned other threads and although I found similar entries, I couldn't find an answer to the following:
When (in LR2.0 and LR2.1) I "Edit in Adobe Photoshop CS3" (by right clicking), the selected image correctly opens up in CS3. I can then edit the image but when I close it down and save it does not get re-imported into LR. Instead the edited image is saved in the same folder as the original and I have to manually reimport into LR.
Obviously LR1.x didn't have this problem as it created the duplicate prior to CS3 opening. However, I don't know if this problem I'm seeing is "as designed" in LR2 or whether it is a known bug, or if there is a setting I need to change in my installation.
If my PC/config has any bearing, I'm running Vista-64, AMD Phenom, 8GB RAM.

I've tried all the things suggested on http://www.adobe.com/go/kb404907. I actually went further than all this - I wiped the system drive clean and did a clean install of vista, lightroom and photoshop!
However, I think you have probably worked out what is happening. I too am on a multi-drive setup with my catalog/files on a separate drive to my system drive. And exactly the same thing appears to be happening to me. The edited image file (on exit from PShop) is being saved on the drive the original image is stored (same directory as you would expect), however I *think* lightroom is actually creating "dummy" (blank) files on the system drive (where lightroom is installed).
I say *think* because I can't check it now because my catalogue has just become corrupted. Luckily before it crashed I noticed that there were files shown on my C drive and I know for a fact I have not put any there. Unfortunately LRoom now thinks my main catalog is open by another application, even after a couple of reboots, so I can no longer get back in?!.
I'll try and sort the catalog out tomorrow (or recreate a new one) and confirm your suspicion. I'm sure you're right - Lroom is getting confused and assumes the edited files are on the same drive as it is installed!! ...

Lightroom 5 does not export my adjustments when editing in Photoshop 6, although I have selected "edit a copy w/ LR adjustments"

I am a Mac user and I started to experience that my Lightroom 5 would no longer send the adjustments I have made to photoshop 6 even though I have selected the option for it do to so. I have searched online to fix this issue with no luck, I tried deleting the com.adobe.photoshop.plist and it did not resolve the issue.
Any suggestions?

Are other adjustments coming across--for example if you max out the Exposure sliders does the TIF end up lighter? You could be editing the original not the LR version.
Are other new adjustments for LR5/ACR8 coming across--for example Uprights? If you have an image with rectangular architectural features shot at a perspective angle, and you correct them in LR using one of the Uprights (Lens-Correction / Basic) options does Edit In w LR Adjustments include them?
If neither Uprights or Radial Filters are coming across, that would only make sense if you're actually using ACR 8.6 with PS-CS6 (not ACR 7.1) and you're not getting asked any question about with LR Adjustments, and are just assuming you're getting LR adjustments, when instead PS is rendering things using ACR which purposely doesn't allow new LR 5/ACR8-only features.
Another symptom of this situation would be that the filename in PS is the same as it was in LR, not with an -Edit on the end of the filename.
You can force LR to edit a copy if you define Photoshop.exe as an external editor and use Edit in Photoshop.exe instead of Edit in Photoshop.

How can I change the suffix Lightroom adds to externally edited files?
If I want it to be "-E" instead of "-Edit" for example, or "-Mod" instead of the long and ugly "-Modifier" in french version.
That would help me to get shorter filenames.

Batch edit in iPhoto 6

I have 200 photos that I shot today, all in the same environment with the same lens. I shot these in RAW and I need to enhance them and than sharpen them. Is it possible to enhance and sharpen all the photos in an album in one or two steps instead of editing each individual photo? If so, please tell me how.

I don't know about applying the same edit to all simultaneously but you can select up to 8 photos and double click on one of the and open all 8 in the edit window. Then you can apply edits to each one before clicking on done. That will speed it up some.

Getting a 0 to display instead of a blank space in query

My colleague has been writing a query in SAP to show when a delivery was late or early etc, the problem we have is when the 2 dates match signalling that it was neither early or late, it displays a blank space, is there a way he can get it to display a 0 instead?

Editing a Wait Step in Campaign Canvas

I have a wait step in Campaign Canvas to wait until a specific date - 5/5/15 at 7am because the email is supposed to go out at that time. If I want to change the send date, can I deactivate the program and then change that wait step to wait until 5/7/15, will there be any issues with people that are currently held in that step? I know in Program Builder it can be tricky editing the Hold steps if there are people currently in that step, but if I'm not waiting a specified number of days, but rather a specific date, should I be OK to go ahead and do that? Or should I just add another wait step after the wait until 5/5/15 instead of editing it?

Yes, you should be fine to de-activate, change the date and re-activate. If you don't trust it, you could always keep the wait step like it is, then pass them into a second wait step with the new date. That way you can even visually see if they move.
Another way to verify is you can click on the green bubble in the corner of the wait step - then scroll all the way to the right, and on the contacts it will tell you when they are waiting until(sometimes you have to adjust the column sizes to be able to see it depending on browser)
