Original email account

I cannot access my original email account I used to setup ICloud.
I changed my Apple ID in iTunes, leaving all my $ info exactly the same.
My iPhone and iPad does not allow the new username/password, and continues to ask for the old one. Since that email account is gone, the system will not let me in.
Crap!!!!
iCloud is saying I need to delete the old account and put in the new. Sure.  But it also says it will delete all my photos, and that I cannot do.
help?

Log in at http://appleid.apple.com and update your email address. You will still use the same AppleID, just with a different email address attached to it.
Do not create a new AppleID or iCloud account if you don't want to abandon all your existing content and purchases.

  • I deleted my original email account which is tied with my original apple id account. If I create a new Apple account will I lose all of my music, videos, and apps?

I deleted my email account that is tied with my original apple account. I created a new apple Id and I'm afraid that I will lose all of my previous purchases. Please help.

    Sort of.
    - Apps and other purchases are locked to the account that purchased them.
    - You have to log into the account opd do certain things with the purchases like transfer then to your computer.
    - To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.
Try recovering yur PS for the first axccount so y can change the email address.
How do I change or recover a forgotten Apple ID Password?
If you've forgotten your Apple ID Password or want to change it, go to My Apple ID and follow the instructions. SeeChanging your Apple ID password if you'd like more information.
I no longer have an email address that was also my Apple ID. Can I still use the email address as my Apple ID?
Apple recommends you change your Apple ID to your current, working email address. This will not create another Apple ID, it will only change it to your working email address. See Changing the name you use for your Apple ID if you'd like more information.
Note: @mac.com and @me.com Apple IDs can not be renamed.  If you no longer use the .mac or .me email address be sure to add your valid email address as an additional email address.

  • Factory reset OfficeJet Pro 8600Plus ePrint setup won't accept original email account

    HP OfficeJet Pro 8600Plus
    Windows XP Pro
    Factory reset on printer
Had to do a factory reset on the printer. When setting up ePrint again, I put in my email address and it says that it's already in use. The ePrint website assigns a non-sensical email address to the printer. How do I get it to use the original email address without giving me an error?

    Hi,
I afraid you will not be able to use the previous email address.
Any ePrint address unassigned from a device is ocked and cannot be used by any user for a 6 months period due to security reasons.
You may follow the steps below to select a new customized ePrint address:

  • How do I change my iCloud account to my new appleID account? The original email account no longer exists.

Helpme. My email address for icloud no longer exists. I need to wtich it to the new apple ID account on icloud but its faded in Gray on my phone.

    Hello Sfloyd003,
The following article details the process of changing the signed in iCloud account on your device.
iOS 6 and later: Go to Settings > iCloud.
If you signed out before changing your Apple ID, enter your current Apple ID to sign in. The data from your iCloud account will download to your device.
If you're still signed in with your previous Apple ID:
Scroll down and tap Delete Account. Depending on what iCloud options are turned on, you'll be asked to confirm that you want to delete data from your device. To confirm, tap Delete. (If you're using iOS 7 and have Find My iPhone turned on, you'll be asked to enter the password for your previous Apple ID. Enter the password, then tap Turn Off.) The data will be deleted from your device, but not from iCloud.
Enter your current Apple ID to sign in. The data from your iCloud account will download again to your device.

  • Original email account gone for good

The email the account was set up with is no longer active. Prior employer. How can I gain access to adding apps with out it. I have created a new account. But still no luck.

    Hi rcdancy,
You don't want to create a new account. You want to go into Manage your Apple ID and change your Apple ID to a new email address. If you have used that email address on the new account that you set up, then you won't be able to use that one.
Apps are tied to the Apple ID they were purchased under. That is why the Apple ID with the old email address is showing up and asking for a password when an update for one of those apps is needed.
If you want to continue to use your new Apple ID, then you will at least want to go into Manage your Apple ID for the old ID and change the password to be the same as the new ID password. That way, when a password screen comes up, it won't matter which ID is displaying.

  • Removing Email account whilst keeping email messages

    Hi,
I would like to remove an email account whilst keeping my old email addresses that arrived through that email account.
How do I ensure I keep all the old email messages?
    Thanks

Ok I already have a mac account setup. I have all the messages from the original email account go into folders "on the mac". Does that mean the messages are safely stored on the MAC and when I delete the account the emails will stay in the folders?

  • How to acces email accounts that apple created for you?

    Hi
I have an apple account since the ipod 2g and now i have iphone 4s. During this time apple made some email acounts for me. [email protected] or [email protected] [email protected]  Okej i know how to acces icloud mail but i dont know how o acces other two. I would like to acces them on the web you know like gmail... How can i do this?

I wasn't aware there is an @apple.com provided in addition to the @me and @icloud.
Your @me email address should be the original email account and address. The @icloud was added when the iCloud account replaced the MobileMe service.
I started with the @mac email account which was replaced with MobileMe followed by being replaced with iCloud.
My original @mac is my primary email account and address. Any email addressed to my associated @me address and @icloud address is delivered to the inbox mailbox for my primary @mac account and address. I don't create and access each as separate accounts.
There is an option to allow sending for on any of the associated email addresses with my iCloud account settings on my iPhone and iPad.

  • Hi there I lost my password for my original iTunes account I can't recover it because the email address it is registered under is not longer valid How can I access my old account?

    Hi there.
I did a factory restore and then restored it with iCloud back-up. I have been using lots of Apple products and i have used three different email adresses. Almost all apps restored perfectly but everytime i try to play a song in the Music app, i asks me for a Apple-ID i had no idea i have used.
    Hence:
I lost my password for my original iTunes account
I can't recover it because the email address it is registered under is not longer valid
How can I access my old account?
Can't find a place to change the email address to my new one without the password which I no longer remember.
There is no way to just erase Apple-ID's on my device either.
What to do? Should i ju give up and start from scratch and delete 2 years of stuf?
    Cheers!

If you can remember the answers to the security questions when you set up that account - I think that you can reset the password without needing email authentication. You can try it here. Read it and see if it's possible. But if you can't remember the answers to the questions it will not work.

  • How to make Reply (all), to an email I sent, to be sent from same account as the original email?

I have a number of Email accounts configured, all of them as pop mail. And, they are all configured to use the same Inbox and Send folders, Thrashbin etc. They are all correctly configured with the appropriate Sender and Reply to-address.
My problem, has started occuring, I think, after I exchanged my default and some of my email accounts.
Sometimes I need to reuse a message that I have sent, to fill in some details, or whatever.
Typically I open an Email from the Sent folder, remove my own email from the distribution list, add some more text
and resend the message to the original recipients.
What I want, is for the new message to be sent from the same sender address as the original email.
But, since I changed my default account, the new email created by opening an email from the Sent folder
and clicking Reply or Reply all, now gets a different Sender and Reply to - address.
And this means I have to remember to edit the Sender address.
I seem to get this problem regardless of whether I do Forward, Reply or Reply all, to create a new Email from the old one I sent.
This is really a nuisance since I keep forgetting to do this, and it takes extra time and effort for something that used to be quick and easy.
How can I make Thunderbird include the correct Sender address, (the one that I sent the original email from) when doing this, without my having to change it manually each time?
The address Thunderbird chooses is not even my Default email address, but the first account that appears after the Default account in the list of accounts, at least that is what it seems like. I have tried to find a way to reorder the accounts, but I have not been able to find that.
Is there a way to reorder the accounts?
Would it help if I recreated the accounts so the one I use as default becomes the oldest one? But that, would help only for the default account, and the other accounts would still have the same problem, I assume?
I could live with this, since the default account is the default account for a reason.
Would it help, if I separated the different accounts, into different folders?
Or is there a setting to configure how Thunderbird does this, or even have it ask every time I create a new email from the Sent folder?
Each one of the accounts, is configured with the appropriate smtp server settings, (probably irrelevant for this problem).

Good suggestion. It gets rid of the "mailto:", but I have to remove the space after dragging the clip into the user name box. Interestingly, I can open the clip with TextWrangler, remove the space, and save it as a clip. However, the clip, as a clip, still has the space! When I open it again in TextWrangler, the space is gone, but still appears when I drag the clip or open it in the Finder. So not quite a cigar. But definitely useful.
So the question remains, where is a clip's data stored? Is it editable? If so, how? If not, why not?

  • HT4897 I have forgotten my original MobileMe account password and the email address that I used to use to retrieve my password no longer works - help!

I have just upgraded to mountain lion and want to use the icloud. However, years ago I set up a mobile me account and can not remember my password. The email account I set up originally as a default email no longer exists so when I try and set up a new password I am unable to because I can't access the email address I put on file. Can anybody help?

Are you particularly attached to your ex-MobileMe email address? - it sounds as if you haven't actually used it for very long time. Your easiest option would be to use the ID you have logged in with here to open an iCloud account and choose a new @icloud.com address.
If you really want to reactivate the MobileMe email address (which is also the ID for that account) you will need to contact Support. Go to https://expresslane.apple.com ; select 'All Products and Services' in the first column, 'More Products and Services' in the second column, then 'Apple ID' in the third column. In the next page select 'Other Apple ID Topics' in the first column then 'Lost or forgotten Apple ID password' and click 'Continue'. You will be offered options to contact Apple by phone.

  • A new account was created on Behance when I signed in with my Adobe ID. My Adobe ID uses a different email address than my original Behance sign in email address. How do I access my original Behance account?

A new account was created on Behance when I signed in with my Adobe ID. My Adobe ID uses a different email address than my original Behance sign in email address. How do I access my original Behance account?

Hi – I’m resending you the instructions I got from Adobe-Sarah below again.
    Nancy
Sarahktrapp at Adobe sent me instructions on how to access my original account on behance. Please read all of this because it did not work completely the way she told me.
    Phase 1:
    Sarah’s from Adobe Instructions:
Thanks for getting in touch. Your Behance account (be.net/yourname) is connected to the Adobe ID ( your original behance email address), so this is what you'll need to use to login.
Please click login, click the Adobe ID button, and enter ( your original behance email address) and your Adobe ID password.
If you'd like to link your Behance account with a different Adobe ID, after you're into your account, you can visit this page and choose "link to a different Adobe ID:" https://www.behance.net/portfolio/promote
    Phase 2:
My results and what I reported back to Sarah at Adobe:
I followed your instructions, but it did not work for me. I clicked login, and then clicked the Adobe ID, I entered ( my original behance email address) and my Adobe ID password. When I clicked Sign In a message says “The Adobe ID and password do not match. Please try again.” I then tried logging in by clicking the Adobe ID, added the (my original behance email address) with my password I used on the original Behance account. The Adobe ID asked my birthdate and it seemed to work. Not sure how it worked, but thanks.
    I hope this helps you.

  • TS3899 I accidently turned ON contacts when I was turning ON my yahoo email account in settings and now all the emails from contacts have been merged to create SEPARATE contact right under the original contact name. Now I have double contacts for everyone

I accidently turned ON contacts when I was turning ON my yahoo email account in Settings and now all the emails from contacts have been merged to create SEPARATE contact right under the original contact name. Now I have double contacts for everyone with an email address!!! how do I UNDO? it says all CONTACTS WILL BE DELETED...when I go to turn CONTACTS to OFF.

Any contacts synced with the Yahoo account will be deleted from the phone if you turn it off. They will still be out there in Yahoo land, so if you turn it off and it deletes something you didn't want to, just turn it back on again.
It's extremely unclear what you did when you say " I only created contacts and typed in emails that I had for those contacts.....so I am still not sure how to UNdo what I did without deleting anything"
Undo WHAT, exactly? You said "I accidently turned ON contacts when I was turning ON my yahoo email account in Settings and now all the emails from contacts have been merged to create SEPARATE contact right under the original contact name."
    Just turn it off.
