Original firmware for WRT54GL Version 1.1
It appears that there is no firmware I can download for my WRT54GL Version 1.1. While it may never have been updated from what the router came with from the factory, it would still be useful to have it available. In my case, I would like to revert the router from the DD-WRT firmware to factory specs.
Any suggestions for what I could do?

Go to the United Kingdom version of the site where it will show a firmware download for v1.1.
Who knows why it doesn't list for the US.

Restoring the iPhone will reload its firmware.
Plug the iPhone into (the current version of) iTunes on your computer.
Let it sync. Then choose "Restore" from the iPhone's summary page in iTunes. -

I have looked for 3 days to download the firmware file for the WRT54GL router. The CISCO download site only has the GPL for the router and not the firmware. Can anyone please point me in the right direction?

No downloadable firmware for my version.
Today, I decided that, since my WRT54G v7 router is getting notably old, I should update the firmware. After taking some time to read the documentation, I went to download the firmware.
Or well, at least I tried. There is no Version 7 firmware.
Can someone please tell me why there is no way to upgrade for me (I tried v8, but obviously, that doesn't work..)? Is there any other way to upgrade?

Uninstalling firmware for WRT54GL
Hello, I sure hope someone can help!
I have been successfully using my Linksys router for about a week now using 3 computers all running Ubuntu linux with Firefox 3 browser.
Tonight for some reason, I thought I should update firmware. I did NOT get a warning not to do this unless I was having problems currently (read that after the fact in the user manual!).
Anyway, after updating the firmware per the instructions, I can no longer view the url http://192.168.1.1 to update or change my profile. I was able to go there for the past days and even today (that's how I updated the firmware!) but now suddenly when I sign onto that page using "admin" as password, all I get is a jumbled mess.
I can see the Linksys colors and the model of my router, but none of the drop down boxes work (or have anything in them). There are no longer clickable links on the page such as "administrator" or "wireless" etc. The page is useless to me and I have to be able to see and use it obviously.
Everything was fine until I updated the firmware, then it all messed up. Sure wish that message telling me NOT to update firmware would have been more obvious!
I am editing and inserting this paragraph to let you know I have also tried on a Windows computer using Mozilla browser and using Internet Explorer so now I am absolutely sure it is not a browser issue and is a firmware issue. Please help me get my router back the way it was. I see in the instructs that you can 'set to factory defaults' but since I can't access the page I can't do that either.
Please tell me how I can undo my update! What a mess...I have a product I can not use now!

Go to Solution.1. Make sure you don't have any firewall or anti-virus running on your computer. Those are known to mess with the JavaScript in the web interface. Turn firewall and AV off even if it worked before with the old firmware version.
2. To reset the router to factory defaults press the reset button on the router for 30 seconds. Check the lights to make sure that it does actually reset.
3. Make sure you want to upload the correct firmware file compatible with your router. Router models have different hardware versions and not all firmware versions for a model are compatible with all hardware versions. Which firmware file did you upload?
4. If this all does not work you may have to reflash the firmware again. Sometimes it does not properly flash. Follow the instructions here. The article is for a blinking power light situation but the tftp firmware upload described should still work for you, too. Flash the same firmware file again. -
Right firmware for WRT54G version 2

I need to reflash a WRT54G version 2, but on the support page I can not find any firmware. Only for version 2.2. is it the compatible also with version 2?Leonardo you can visit http://homesupport.cisco.com/en-apac/support/routers/WRT54G then go to Downloads you will be able to see the Version 2 from the drop down.

When I download the firmware from this site it says the newest is 1.01.1??
But when I want to forward a port it says firmware prior to 1.32 won't work.
What new firmwire do I need and where can I download it?

Firmware for range extender version 3
When I go to the download page for the WRE54G v3 and download the firmware, I seem to get the firmware for v2.
Is there newer firmware for the v3?

The travel routter that you have WTR54GS v2.0 does not have any firmware for this version. The firmware will only be available for the version 1.0

Satellite A105-S1013: Need CDW/DVD drive original firmware?
I flashed the wrong firmware model of my CDW/DVD optical drive and now the drive is not being recognized by WinXP. It simply vanished...
I would like to re-flash the correct original firmware for this drive.
The drive is a TSST model TS-L462C TO10.

I know the firmware are very model specific and are not interchangeable.
I searched all Toshiba/Samsung sites to no avail.

I am under the impression this is a rather new firmware code which has not been widely divulged yet. My computer is rather new ( 3 months since I bought it).

Needed: EA3500 Original Firmware
If someone has the original firmware for the EA3500 I would appreciate a copy. I need to downgrade my router after Cisco sabotaged it with their Cloud Connect. This will be the firmware you have right out of the box. Be sure you go into the Admin. section and Save a Copy before you ever connect to the Internet. Also Uncheck the Auto Updates box or you will be fed the Cloud Connect (and its amazing Terms Of Service). Thank you for any help
