Original version movies on Apple TV

HI all,
I live in Barcelona, Spain and I bought Apple TV. Nice to hire movies in the original version, I thought. Well, I was not ready for the BIG disappointment. Apple seems to think that nobody in Spain understands English, so doubled almost all movies (so the original sound is replaced by Spanish voices) and until now I didn't discover any way to get the original version. There is a small amount of V.O. movies, V.O. is Versión Original, but as I said it's a very small amount.
Of course there is the possibility that my Apple TV does not funtion correctly or that I do something wrong: so my question is: is there someone with the same (irritating) expercience who could help me out to have the original version of movies on Apple TV? Because otherwise this was just a waist of money...

Well, there are movies on the iTunes yes, even popular American movies originally in English. But they are all dubbed in to Spanish, and I want to watch them in original version.
Isn't there a way to turn them back to original version?
It's horrible to watch movies like that...
(In Spain there is a tendency to dub everything, I don't know why apple follow the same tendency...)
I hope there a way to do so...
Problem is even when I am in another country using I tunes with my Apple ID it will still give me dubbed movies...
I will never watch a movie like that! It is killing all the artistic work of the actors, I don't understand how they allow it any way...

You need to be in a country to buy from its store, so whilst you are in Switzerland you can only use the Swiss store - you will need to be in Spain to use the Spanish store.
On each film's description page in the store there should be a list of the language(s) and/or subtitles that it has on it e.g. here in the UK one of the new releases, Svengali, has listed on its description page :
If there is a particular film that you would like to buy in a particular language that is not currently available in the Swiss store then you can try requesting that it be added, but unless the Swiss rights-holder for the film agrees to it then Apple won't be able to sell it there : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html
All iTunes gift cards are country-specific, so you will only be able to redeem and use the Spanish gift card when you are in Spain with a Spanish billing address on your account.

Hoy to Watch US movies in their original version when in Spain

Presently living in Spain, bought an Apple TV here, but I cannot watch movies except for the dubbed version, which is hideous when you are used to the original version.
Is there a way I can switch the country without having to change my Visa card ( which is issued in Spain).

Content available will difer depending on location due to licensing. A valid Credit Card and billing address is required to access/purchase from US store.

I live in BKK and found an iPhone 5 with the legend "Designed by Apple in California and assembled in the USA". Is that suspicious? As diesel vdub posted, a real iPhone will have "...assembled in China" on the back.

Original version af Safari is lost!

Hi, by mistake I deleted the original version af Safari from my computer just after I got it - now I really would like to install it agin. The problem is that I can't find a version that can be installed on my system. Can somebody help?

You'll need the installer disk to reinstall Safari - Tiger. Here's directions:
Have a look at this Apple article for installing other software, including Safari, from the Tiger DVD - see the section titled More custom reinstallation options with Mac OS X 10.4.
As a precaution, prior to reinstalling Safari, move your Safari Folder, found in your User Library to the Desktop. It has your bookmarks, history etc. Once the reinstall is completed, move the folder back to its original location writing over the newly created folder.
Remember too, the version of Safari you install will be specific to the Version on your installer DVD. Therefore, either run Software Update and see if Safari is updated. If not, you can reapply the 10.4.8 combined update. Repair permissions when you are finished.

about 300 CD imported on my IMAC in AIFF version.
I want to create the same library on my macbook pro, but Apple lessloss to use for ipod and other device.
I import on the finder'S macbook pro all the library ( many gigabyte in AIFF version). I open Itunes, add to library the folder, on preference i set Apple lessloss, but itunes import AIFF version.
If i converte on itunes the files, i find all the two version: AIFF and Apple lessloss. I cannot remove manually all the file AIFF....
Duplicate files is impossible to remove with 11 version...

Select 'Songs' then 'List'. Click on the top of the 'Kind' column to sort by type of file, thus bringing all the AIFF files together. (If you don't have a 'Kind' column, enable it in View>View Options).
Click on the top AIFF file in the list, then shift click on the bottom one to select them all. Hit the delete key. At the prompt, be sure to choose to move them to the Trash or they will disappear from the list but remain in the actual Library in the Finder.

Well, to paraphrase the old line, "What're you gonna believe, that email or your own lying eyes?"
The first thing I'd recommend trying is to power down your iPad (press & hold Sleep/Wake until the red OFF slider appears, then slide it to shut down), and then boot it back up and try again. You're resetting a bunch of state signals by doing that and this simple action (the first of a series recommended by Apple in your Users Guide) will quite often clear up these sorts of problems.

I understand you want to revert a photo edited on an iPhone. Here are the steps that will help you with that process.
Revert to original. After you edit a photo and save your edits, you can revert to the original image. Tap the image, tap Edit, then tap Revert.

Living in Germany but want to rent kids films from iTunes in the original version (English) and am finding that everything is in German!!

Can I change the language back to the original version if I download a film in Germany (e.g. Batman) - on the info page it says the only language provided is German, whereas for adults the films seem to be provided in both the original version, and the horrid dubbed version.

I am afraid that this is a local policy of Germany as a state, and adopted by companies, which activate there. This method has been used in many European countries, but not in all countries. I am still happy that almost all the films are subtitled in Romania as this allows to hear the original language, the original voice and is very useful for learning foreign languages. Dubbing films is, in my mind, against the European spirit of mutlicultural continent, and states which still support this should abandon this method. I think this is an issue of a cultural phenomenon, not an Apple forum issue.
This is a comment inspired by your post, I am sorry, I have no idea how to solve this in the short run.

How can I recover an earlier version of an Apple Notes document

Hello,
I must have deleted an earlier version of an Apple Notes document.
My Mac is running OS X version 10.9.2. Apple Notes runs on my Macbook Pro and my Iphone 4S, and I've seen my Apple Notes documents on Icloud.
However, the particular doucment I am loooking for has been superceded by later versions on my Macbook Pro, Iphone 4S & on Icloud.
Is there any way to recover a much-needed earlier version somehow?
As a very poor alternative I used to use Time Machine until my Macbook Pro reached it's limit; My last backup goes back to Jan. of this year. Is there a way to recover this Apple Notes document via Time Machine? I really wouldn't know where to look for Apple Notes douments on Time Machine. Like I said, I'd prefer to recover the Apple Notes document that I erroneously deleted today but as a poor 2nd if I can recover that same document, although 6 month's older, beggars can't be choosy.

If you synchronize Notes with iCloud, open the iCloud preference pane and uncheck the box marked Notes. If you sync Notes with another mail service, disable that in the Internet Accounts or Mail, Contacts & Calendars preference pane. You may be warned that notes stored on the server will be deleted. If you trust your backups, confirm. Leave the window open.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Notes
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item named "com.apple.Notes" selected. Quit the application if it's running. Move the selected item to the Trash, then restore it from a backup that predates the unwanted change. If you back up with Time Machine, enter it and select the snapshot from which you want to restore.
Log out or restart and empty the Trash.
Re-enable synchronization in System Preferences, if you disabled it.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.
