Orphaned podcast episodes can now be restored to the Podcast section.

The Media Kind selector now includes a Podcast entry so that you can restore episodes that iTunes has "forgotten" were podcasts. On the downside there still doesn't seem to be a way to merge the old and new episodes where a Podcast series has changed it's title. (Unless someone knows different?)

UPDATE:
Ok, i found the track in my playlist (on the iPhone) by visually poring over it until i found it by title. It has changed the album to "unknown" and the artist is blank. It does not show up under albums / unknown. It only appears in the playlist itself.
If i view file info in iTunes, the artist and album fields are correct. So somehow in transferring to the iPhone, this data is being... rewritten? Lost?
So here is my "solution" - make a separate playlist for old podcast episodes, because my main iPhone playlist is way too big to go searching manually through. Then get over the fact that proper data is not displayed. Also if you use iScrobbler or anything like that, forget about these tracks being recognized. Leave feedback here: http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html , and wait patiently for 1.1.4.

What I mean is still track my stolen one. I don't know if this will make sense to you but I'm thinking that if I restore the back up data on this phone..on my stolen phone it will like forget the icloud account or something and think this phone is the stolen one so when I go to track the stolen one, it will show that phone as the one I have now because I restored the back up from that phone.

My Personal Hot Spot was working but now not appearing in the Cellular section , Only Cellular Data & MMS Appearing no Personal Hot Spot showing

Initially there was no Personal HotSpot appearing on my phone , but i configured it while going in the cellular section and it appeared on the main Setting options with On/Off button and it was Working Fine , (this was mentioned in the many discussions and that fixed my Issue) , but now Suddenly the Option of Personal Hot Spot has disappeared from the Menu , I have gone to cellular , then Cellular Data to on the Personal Hot spot but there only Appears , Cellular Data & MMS
No Personal Hot Spot option is appearing or available.
i have tried following steps to fix the issue as recommended in the Apple Support community blogs, :
Reset Network settings
Hard reset
On/Off the phone
Delete the Extra Profiles.

If a podcast is not in iTunes store can it be restored with the same ID?

A friend had a working feed but for some reason it no longer exists in the iTunes store. Is it possible to restore the feed with the same id (so that existing subscribers will be able to continue subscribing) or will the feed need to be recreated completely?

It can be subscribed to in iTunes and appears to have no serious technical problems, though the FeedValidator report does throw up a few minor ones.
Though it doesn't seem to throw iTunes when subscribing, the 'title' tag reads

which I can't think is a good idea: the titles of the podcast and the episodes (which are formatted the same) should be in plain text: I don't know why Libsyn is formatting them like this, or whether it's likely to upset the iTunes Store (which is a different matter from iTunes when subscribing, and occasionally something will work in one but not the other).
It doesn't seem likely that any of the content-based reasons I quoted above, suggesting why a podcast might be rejected, apply in your case; though I've not listened to the episodes. Other than the formatting matter mentioned above I can't see any obvious reason for rejection.
She could try resbmitting this feed - she will probably need to make a small change to the title or she will be told the feed has already been submitted - this can be changed back once she's got the podcast accepted.

Essentially it would mean another Internet connection yes, however it's your local network that I am wondering about and whether it could be the problem.

The tab list drop down arrow has disappeared and can't be restored through the customize dialog.

The dropdown arrow used to be there, as well as the tab scroll arrows when many tabs are open. But both suddenly disappeared. When I bring up the customize dialog, I can then see the drop down arrow in the tab bar, but if I click restore default set and close the customize dialog, there is still no dropdown arrow. If I open the customize dialog and drag the arrow into the dialog, it shows up there. But if I try to drag it back to the tab bar and then click Done, it still does not appear.

You will only see the "List All Tabs" button in Firefox 12+ if there are that many tabs open that you get the Tab bar scroll buttons appearing.

Ipad can not be restore, shows the usb cable icon.

When I turned it on (whitout being conected to the computer) the screen shows the usb cable icon for a minute and then turns it off.
If I connect it to Itunes:

I can't sync TV episodes to my iTouch first gen, iTunes says that the episode can't be played on the iPod

When I transferred the info from an old ipod, broken, to a new one the contacts I received were from all over the place, many whom I did not even know. Can I only restore from the last sync or can I go back further to get my old contacts?

Apple gave me a new ipod and told me all I needed to do was update the new ipod from the itunes which I had backed up prior to getting the new one. When I did the sync , the info for my contacts was giving me names and addresses from all over the place except the itunes. Can I retrieve info from a previous sync or only to the last sync that was made?

Yes I did. When installing the new ipod it had to update the software, then it sync'ed the information onto the new ipod. The contacts were not the original ones, and all the phone numbers have dissappeared. Is there any way to recover them?

Other is app data, settings, etc. Should be less than 1.5GB.
Restore with your backup. If still large, i.e. > 1.5GB, restore as new, i.e. without your backup.

this is KILLING me also..i go to my apps section in itunes in order to add pdf, comics, or pull ringtones or whatever I need to do..the area that you can add files or remove files that apps use. ITS NOT letting me scroll down to it.
