Orphaned status of mod_wsgi in extra

I'm not sure if it's considered appropriate to question this here, but I wonder what can/will be done with this package. It seems to have been orphaned half a year ago and while there has been only one newer release since, that release fixes a few annoying bugs in the current Arch version. As you're probably aware of, mod_wsgi is the best/recommended way of running pretty much any python web-framework. That makes it an important package, I believe, and many Arch users would appreciate it being actively maintained...

Yes, I did.
Snowman wrote:I updated it while rebuilding it for the python rebuild.  So the updated package will be in the repo whenever the python rebuild will be completed.
Great, thanks. Does this also mean that you or other dev(s) intend to maintain this package?
I'm not interested in maintaining it. I don't know about the other devs.

  • How to get the Time Stamp if we use User Status

    Hi Gurus,
We used User Status to control several Orders. Now we are required to get the "time stamp" when we change from one status to another, is that information available in the system?
If not, how do we get the time when a user status is changed from one to another?
    please advice,

    Hi,
To check such kind of changes you have to follow below path,
Go to Status tab (Blue Ikon) --- >Extra -> Change Documents-> All- --- > Choose All Changes
SAP note 390635 provide the possibility to write change records for process and production orders as modification.

  • Deactivating function code of pf-status

    experts,
how to deactivate a function code in the report when the report consists of a pf-status.
what is the default pf-status for a report

    1) Deactivating f_code for status:
    SET PF-STATUS your_status EXCLUDING f_code.
    2) If you want to get standard status use:
    SET PF-STATUS space.
Alternatively go to SE41-> write program name -> choose your status ->
from menu choose Extras->Adjust Template-> choose List Status.
System will activate any necessary functions for you:)
You can choose other templates i.e. for LIST VIEWER (ALV) or TREE STATUS.
    Pls reward if helpfull.

  • Removed orphaned files...

    Hi there!
Yesterday I had another system crash and was forced to shutdown my PowerBook. I restarted, logged in as Admin, checked the permissions and my user sparseimage. After that I rebooted with the Tiger-CD to check the harddrive itself.
After all, some permissions need to be fixed, but everything else seemed to be fine.
In the system.log I found a line, which told me that 16 orphaned files were removed. That was after the first reboot after the crash.
Is there a possibility to find out what files that were?
Months ago I had a similar problem. No errors were found at all, but a preference file was corrupt (or missing). So I discovered this error only because the application looks "different".
I know that a system crash is always bad for a filesystem, but it is possible to find out which files are corrupt? I read about a lost+found folder, but it's not in my root directory.
Another more general question: Did I something wrong (I mean AFTER the crash)? I also have Disk Warrior. Is this program better for a filesystem check?
    Thanks for Your help!

    Hi, Martin.
A close reading of Fsck - The UNIX® File System Check Program, which is available online in HTML and PDF formats, would indicate there are situations in which orphaned files will be removed without the creation of the lost+found directory. In some cases, the problem is simply corrected without a need to then add an alias to the files in the lost+found directory.
Orphaned files are not necessarily corrupted files, but rather files which have been "orphaned" with respect to the drive's directory, i.e. disconnected from the directory in some fashion. Granted, an orphaned file is also often corrupted, especially if it is a fragmented file (one that could not be written to contiguous space) and all its fragments could not be found. However, Orphaned status does not necessarily imply "corrupted."
If the actions on the files in question were not noted in the log, and since there's no lost+found folder, there's no way to know.
Finding corrupted files is the proverbial "needle in a haystack" quest. However, the techniques in my "Finding corrupted files" FAQ can help.
IMO, Alsoft DiskWarrior is the tool-of-choice for repairing hard drives when Disk Utility cannot correct the directory corruption. At present, it can only be used with PowerPC-based Macs: a version for Intel-based Macs is pending.
Intel-based Mac users can employ the following third-party tools for directory repair until a Universal version of DiskWarrior is available:
    • Micromat TechTool Pro v4.5.1 or later.
    • The Universal version of Prosoft Engineering Drive Genius.
It doesn't sound like you did anything incorrectly. You may want to review my "Resolving Disk, Permission, and Cache Corruption" FAQ for a recommended procedure and related information.
    Good luck!

  • Orphaned Job

how does a job get a status of orphaned? thanks.

    Hi Warren,
    Reference Guide (5.3.X p 199)
Orphaned is when the agent on which the job was running is no longer in communication with the Scheduler master. The master does not know its final status. The agent, network or master may be down.
A simple network hiccup may cause a Tidal job to go into an orphaned status, but before re-running the job, it is a good idea to check if the PID may still be running on the agent-end. From Tidal PID can be found in Job Activity -> Job Details -> Status -> External ID

  • REUSE_ALV_HIERSEQ_LIST_DISPLAY i_interface_check

    hello,
I the function "REUSE_ALV_HIERSEQ_LIST_DISPLAY" exists an parameter "i_interface_check" to check the interface.
It doesn´t work, when I use the function "REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY", but when I use "REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY" it works.
    Has anyone an idea?
    Kind regards

When I woke my MacBook from "sleep" a while ago I have no menu bar or any of the icons that go on the right side of the screen. My dock is barely visible. I've tried system preferences to check on the screen size in "display". It's set to 1280 X 800. I've restarted about 4 times. I shut down and started. It keeps coming back this way. I went to user>library>preferences>apple.com systemuiserver.plist and deleted it. Then restarted. No joy. Please help?
    Thank you!

This sounds like either damaged OS files that the Combo update did not replace or an incompatible add-on of some kind, especially a "haxie" that adds a third party (not from Apple) Menu Extra toward the right of the menu bar. There are actually two kinds of menu bar add-ons, menu extras & status items. Menu extras can be rearranged with an ⌘ key drag; status items cannot. Avoid third party menu extras if possible. Although popular & useful, Apple does not support their use. They can cause problems, including ones that interfere with the proper installation of OS updates that can require reinstalling the OS to fix.
Assuming you only have Apple menu extras installed, I suggest you try starting up in Safe Mode. If behavior reverts to normal, but only until the next normal startup, then you probably have an incompatible add-on. If not, you may have to reinstall Snow Leopard 'over itself' - IOW, just run the installer again after starting up from the DVD.
If a safe boot is only temporarily effective, while in that mode create a temporary new user account. Restart & log into that account instead of your normal one. If the problem disappears, then the incompatible item is somewhere in your home folder.

  • Max Length of Essbase Server Name?

Hi - we're installing 9.3.1 and are coming across a problem related to replicated partitions that I'm hoping someone else has also encountered and resolved.
Since partitions aren't covered by the Migration Wizard, they were migrated from our 7X environment by exporting them from 7X as xml files, doing a "find/replace" within them to change the old server name to the new server name, and then reimporting them in the System 9 environment. Short names were used for this. This was done for them all (we have one or two dozen), and everything worked well. We kicked off a few and all was good.
Then we went back a few days later and all of the partitions had gone to Orphan status. Looking at them just in the tree view in EAS, they were all saying that they were using the fully-qualified server name (which, in our environment, is 31 characters) instead of what we had originally created them under, which was much shorter: xxx-xxxx-xx = 11 characters. When you open one, it even still references the shorter names in the connection tab. However, whenever you execute one, it goes against the fully qualified name, which appears to be just 1 character too many, because every kickoff of replication fails saying that its an invalid server name, giving the full name ending with ".co" instead of ".com". We had a problem like this in 7X, but we could always get around it because the process would work if we just created and executed using the shorter name (also, we could use App Manager to kick them off, which I'm reluctant to do against System 9). Thus far, we've had no such luck in 9.3.1 - even new partitions created under the shorter name automatically orphan and use the longer name.
While changing the server name is an option, I'm hoping someone knows of some way to get Essbase to read a server name longer than 30 chars, or to force Essbase to stop using the fully qualified name and just use the shorter one.
Thanks much. Sorry for the long blow-by-blow.
    -Rob

One way around this would be to use the IP address instead of the server name. I ran into a similar problem and that was the answer I was given by Oracle. (see my blog http://glennschwartzbergs-essbase-blog.blogspot.com/2008/08/partitions.html)

  • ALV color

    Hi all,
Can anyone tell me how to display different colors on different coloumns of an ALV.
    thanks

    hi
    check this code
An example of using linecolor (ALV).
Here you have a good example of coloring rows, columns and specific cells in alvs. It comes in an example of how to use hashed tables.
For coloured rows and cols check gp_bymat
for coloured specific rows uncheck gp_bymat.

    Hi,
Pls. check for your Work Center Status in CR02 / CR03 -
    > Extras -
    > Administrative Data -
    > Status.
Check whether it is locked or not. If work center is locked , unlock your work center from
    Extras Menu--->Status--> Lock / Unlock.
    Hope this may help you.

  • PDF signing signature file size increase in increment 3mb

    Hello,
Have anyone seen Adobe Reader digital signature insert and file increase from 85kb over over 3mb?  The current Adobe Reader use is 9.x and every time inserting PDF signature it changing the size largely.  The signature file less than 95kb.  Please let me know if you seen this and a fix for it.
    Thanks
    JT

    Hi Ankit,
Thanks for following up and the issue has been resolved since I found tips from the forum below.  The OS is WinXP Pro and current version Adobe Reader 9.4.6.  It work after de-select the option under preference so I’m good to go.  Maybe you can posted this on your site as “fixed” for those experience same issue as I’m.
Re: ACROBAT DIGITAL SIGNATURE ADDS 700KB TO .PDF FILE SIZE"
    go to edit>preferences>security.
click on advanced preferences then select the 'creation' tab.
De-select 'Include signature's revocation status when signing'
the extra data is the CRL list that gets embedded with the signature if the above preference has been selected.
    Thanks
