OS 10.4.10 and APPS locking up for no reason
My video card died on me and I replaced it. Now when I run or do anything the nac will lock up or studder on doing things. I checked the HDD tree and checked the permissions seems to be ok. Now I pulled all but one ctick of memory and testing it out then adding another stick of memory and retesting. Is there anything else I need to do if this does not find the problem?
No, because I did process of elimination. I had a stick of memory in last slot and it froze and wanted to shut down. Then I took memory out of the last slot and worked fine. Then I took a good stick of memory and put it in last slot and it still lock up. So to me its on the mother board. Is this true or could it be something else.

There is a passcode lock for the phone. Individual apps can implement their own locking mechanism (e.g. 1Password, iBank, etc.). It's neither likely nor practical for Apple to implement any kind of system that would lock individual apps. If you don't want people looking at the neked pics of your significan other, then don't keep them on your phone or don't let people use your phone.

Just won't give up, eh? If I were you I'd contact the developers of the app you used on the old BB device and ask them why they don't support the BB10 device. BB isn't going to develop this natively when they already have a password lock feature on the device.

"Drag" and "Drag lock" indicator for the trackpad (mouse) cursor
Anyone know how to get a "Drag" and "Drag lock" indicator for the trackpad (mouse) cursor. When using the track pad, I'm often finding that my final click does not release the item I was dragging and then I inadvertently drag it across my screen, as I go to my next function. Would be nice if there was some type of indicator that would pop up on the cursor so you knew when drag lock is active.
Thanks!Idiot question - How do I re-install Leopard? No matter what I do, it kicks the disk out on restart. I have tried using the 'install' command on the disk, nothing. It kicks the disk out and boots from the hard drive. I have tried rebooting holding down the 'c' key to force it to read from the drive, it still kicks the disk out and boots from the hard drive. What else should I do?

Someone suggested a solution involving permissions. I fixed my permissions. Drag and drop is still not working.
There was also a set of commands to type into terminal that would supposedly fix the issue, or perhaps it was a Spotlight issue that the thread had morphed into. I did that. Drag and drop is still not working.

I downloaded a movie last night from iTunes and it downloaded to my laptop and my phone but for some reason it now won't play on my laptop. The album artwork on my laptop has gone and it exists perfectly on my phone. What do I do?
I paid for it so I'd really like to avoid paying again just to see this movie. Is it because it's on my iPhone? Whenever I try to click on the movie to make it play it just does nothing like it's not there. The file for the movie exists within my iTunes library files but I can't seem to click and drag it into iTunes or open it with iTunes. I'm sorry to read that you are having issues with your Sync account.
Your best bet is to follow the steps described in this blogposts and open a bug:

After that, if you don't want to user Sync in your computer, you can stop it with this simple steps:
* At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button (Tools menu in Windows XP) and then click Options.
* Once the options window opens, click on the Sync tab.
* At the bottom of the Sync tab click on '''Deactivate this Device''' link -

Imessage wont activate and apps locking up in ios7
I'm having several problems with iOS7. First I cannot get my facetime or imessage to activate it just keeps telling me to check my network connections which they are fine. Second I have apps that I try to launch namely words with friends that get a pop up that says " Connect to itunes to Use Push Notifications" when you hit ok it just relaunches the pop up and basically locks the phone up. Any ideas or suggestions?

1. Reset the network settings and connect
2. Using 3G network to setup both imessage and facetime.

160GB Classic is skipping songs and entier albums, sometimes locking up for no reason.
I newly purchased a 160GB iPod classic to replace my 3-year+ old 16GB touch. I found myself wanting more storrage to music and less of games and apps, so it was a no brainer. Anyway, there have been many problem to come with this item and now I'm not sure if I want the pain and agervation that comes with the classic.
Just today I noticed tracks in my playlist would skip. Sometimes the song would never play or the song would get 30-50 seconds in and just skip to the nest. All these problems are on a full-album scale: if one track has this problem, then they all do. Also, mor recently, the iPod has been locking up on me. Even when I just go to connect it to my PC with the USB cable, it will lock-up right when connection is made which will force me to do a device reset. I know the classic is HDD based and not flash memory, but, I can assure you, I've been very careful with it. I always am with my stuff.
I tried to remody these issues with a factory reset thorugh iTunes but this just seemed to make it worse. I've even had iTunes to my iPod is corrucpt and needs to be factory reset.
Should I just take it back while I still can and exchange it for a (maybe?) working version?
Thanks!Skipping songs are due to corrupted MP3 tag headers, so no point in getting a new iPod, you just need to get your music in your iTunes library fixed by a free 3rd Party software called MP3 validator.
Google it and run for all your music in the library.

My wife and I have separate AppleID accounts. Ever since she updated to the iPhone 5c, for some reason when she tries to update her apps, it comes up with my AppleID and asks for my password. I cannot figure out why this happening and how to fix this. Please help!
I have had this issue lately.
I can only put it down to using the one computer to update all our IPads for me and my wife.
Some of our apps, although downloaded from both our seperate accounts on our IPads, are the same.
However after plugging her IPad into the computer when my AppleID is on ITunes, I think something strange has happened and when she then tries to update Apps on her IPad and I try on mine it now asks for the others Apple ID password.
The only way I have found to counteract this is to update an app one at a time, if that app asks for your wifes password then delete it and then reinstall it.
That has solved it for me.

Losing music and apps ive paid for
previously i had been sent a new iphone due to my old ones camera not working. after receiving and backing up from my old phone a couple of days later my phone was telling me to plug into computer and connect to iphone "IPHONE CANNOT MAKE OR RECEIVE CALLS. RESTORE FROM ITUNES"... So i did that and now a couple of weeks later its doing it again im scared to restore it because i dont want to lose the stuff i have bought from the itunes store on my phone. and its not on my computer because i have only just bought the music and apps and havent yet synced to my computer. What do i do???
Connect it to the computer and choose Transfer Purchases from the File menu as soon as you can. Don't restore it until the purchases appear in the iTunes library.
