Os 10.7 driver for konica minolta c362

Trying to find a driver for Konica-Minolta bizhub c362 that works on 10.8.5; manufacturer says to use the driver for 10.7, but cannot find that driver anywhere.  Any ideas?

Hi @elbclist,
Welcome to the HP Forums!
I see that you are trying to locate a driver for your HP Officejet 7410 on Mac OS 10.7. I am happy to take a look for you!
As far as I can tell, there is no full feature software and driver for this printer for this Operating System. However you can download the in-OS driver by following this guide, Installing a Mac Printer Driver Using Apple Software Update, or directly through Apple at this website, HP Printer Drivers v3.0 for OS X.
Hope this clears things up for you!

Where do I find a driver for KONICA MINOLTA C250 UV2.0.0 that works with os 10.6.7 on my MBP

I googled, "C250" and come up with this web site:

scroll 3/4 down the page. It's there. You can google too.

Scanner driver for Konica Minolta 1690MF will not work since new operating system Maverick.
Update driver came from konica minolta - not through an Apple software update.
Konica M 1690MF will print as normal but 'image capture' is empty.

Same problem. I emailed KM support. Was told new drivers were being considered. Not sure what that means. No date given. Have tried several 3rd party drivers, but none work. Would love for someone to post a solution.

  • Is there a utility to operate a printer under 10.6 from 10.7.2? (No 10.7.2 driver for Konica Minolta bizhub C351)

Konica Minolta bizhub C351 operates reasonably well from an OS X 10.6.x Mac.   As of 12-17-11 Konica Minolta reports no driver for 10.7.2, and our office groupo C351 will not respond to 10.7.2.  Older Macs still under 10.6.8 operate as usual.  From Apply Support directions, direct connecting between iMac 10.7.2 and C351 resulted with iMac no recognizing the C351.  Konica Minolta support, including "advanced", via telephone, confirmed there was no 10.7.2 driver availabe to date.
Suggestion from an Apple user (but not an expert) is that there should be a utility available somewhere with which a Mac operating under 10.7 can dial down to 10.6 for purposes of a situation such as this.  If such a utility, or other solution is out there, please share that wisdom.
    Thanks!

In our office we just switched back to Snow Leopard. Happy as clams now.

  • Can't install scanner driver for Konica Minolta magicolor 1690mf

I've successfully installed the printer driver for my Konica Minolta 1690MF multi-function printer/scanner/fax.
However, when I go to try an install the scanner driver, the following error appears:
"mc1690MF Scanner can’t be installed on this computer.
The operation system is not adequate for running magicolor 1690MF."
    I am running 10.6.1.
I downloaded the drivers from the konica minolta website, and it claims the drivers are compliant up to 10.5 (http://onyxftp.mykonicaminolta.com/download/SearchResults.aspx?productid=1167 )
Is there any way to get a scanner driver that is compliant for the snow leopard OS? Is there an alternative to waiting for the manufacturer to update their drivers?

I am having the same problem. I was able to scan last week and suddenly this week image capture cannot find the scanner. The Konica Minolta Magicolor 1690mf prints fine but scanning is not functioning. I looking at drivesr on Konica Minolta's site but there were none for os 10.6.1. I called them in and they could not suggest anything other than reloading the printer. They could not tell me if this was a known problem. The person I spoke with says that with apple making the updates it might be a couple of months before they have a driver for it..... how frustrating I can't use the scanner for a couple of months??? Any suggestions out there?

  • REQ: Alternativ Driver for KONICA MINOLTA Di2011

    Hello
We have is the Office a very Powerful Printer/Fax/Copier for large formats, the Konica Minolta Di2011.
We connected this machine with the network and are able toprint only from windows. Our Machine has NO Postscript, only PCL.
On my MacBookPro with Parallels I was also able to print in the Windows Envoirement. But on mac nothing works. Whe are able to connect to the Webinterface of the Di2011. I tried LPR Printing with a couple of drivers listed in the mac but no printout.
Is their someone who knows an alternative driver (linux, unix) with could work with this machine? I looked on the konica-minolta site but only windows (PCL) where publised
    Regards
    Gérard

OS X comes with generic PCL drivers that should work. If not, update to a newer Gutenprint:
    http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net/MacOSX.php
The other part of setup is choosing the correct protocol (LPD?) And entering the right info in Print & Fax. The printer probably has a queue name, which must be entered in the OS X setup. Could be "print" or LPDPRT1, for example.

  • AUR package for konica minolta laser printer (CUPS)

    Hi there,
currently I'm writing a AUR package for the Konica Minolta Magicolor 5430 Desklaser.
I have a question to put the ICC profiles files and special KM files to the cups tree.
The Konica Minolta makefile put the binary "rstertokm5430" to the directory "/usr/lib/cups/filter/" which is completely correct but the *.ppd file and *.icm files are going by default to /usr/share/KONICA_MINOLTA/mc5430DL/Profiles (icm files) and to
    /usr/share/cups/model/KONICA_MINOLTA/km5430dl.ppd.gz (ppd file)
The directory in my running archlinux is
    usrsharecupsmodel*.ppd and
    usrsharecupsprofiles*.icm
Additionally there are "Halftones" files (*.bmp)
    usrshareKONICA_MINOLTAmc5430DLHalftones*.bmp
I think about to put the Konica Minolta files in to this (new) directory tree:
    usrsharecupskm5430dlmodel*.ppd
    usrsharecupskm5430dlprofiles*.icm
    usrsharecupskm5430dlhalftones*.bmp
How do I have to copy these files to be archlinux compliant ?
    best regards,
    Frank

frigg, my apologies for overlooking an important point in my last post. The three magicolor drivers have different version numbers, unlike the other examples of multiple printer drivers in one PKGBUILD. This means you will need one PKGBUILD for each driver, in order to have the correct Arch version number. There is still value in doing them together, since they have many common elements.
As a consequence of this change, I think it might be best to put the single PPD file in /usr/share/cups/model/, rather than have a directory with one ppd file in it.  It appears that the KM_PPDDIR variable in the configure script controls this location, so I have added a sed command to the build script accordingly.
As another consequence, the package names need to be changed. I would suggest cups-mc2430dl, etc. This uses the short internal names used by the drivers, and Arch package names are supposed to be lower-case. This means that your awk script no longer works for all three drivers. Rather than write three different awk scripts, I have ported your directory change to a sed command.  When you package a stand-alone script with the PKGBUILD, you have to also maintain its md5sum, so it is simpler to do everything inside the build script if you can.
Following are the three incomplete PKGBUILD scripts incorporating these changes. They are complete enough that when you run makepkg, they will  download the tarball (if it isn't already present), check its md5sum, copy it into the src directory, uncompress it, and modify the configure script. One way for you to proceed from here is to add lines to the build script, run makepkg, check that the right things happen in the src directory, and then that the correct things are put into the correct place in the pkg directory. The next line in the build script runs configure, which won't finish on my system due to the lack of libjbig.

  • Driver problems for Konica Minolta 5430DL

    HELP required please!
I Have bought the 5430 DL and have run into problems installing the latest drivers.
Installing the driver for Leopard, I then found out that this was wrong, as it wasnt Leopard for intel Macs, just the older ones. I SHOULD have installed the 10.4 (intel) driver even though I have 10.5.
    With me so far?
I have removed the 10.5 driver, but mu puter wont let me install the 10.4 driver cos it says I have newer drivers installed.
It appears that some little b**r of a file is embedded somewhere and I havent removed it.
Anyone tell me how I can find and remove said offending article, or tell me I am barking up the wrong tree, please?
Konica have been very helpful ( apart from their driver information desription) but have gone as far as they can.
    Help required, please.
    Thanks a lot.

  • Driver needed for Konica Minolta pagepro 1380mf - help please!

    Hi,
I have just bought a brand new imac which I would like to use with my 1 year old printer a Konica Minolta pagepro 1380mf. However, I discovered this afternoon that this model only speaks to windows. I have been trying to make it work all afternoon but to no avail. There are no mac drivers for it that I can find. I am running the latest version of Mac osx. Does anyone know of a solution to this?
I am a new mac user having converted from windows so everything is still a bit alien to me. What I mean is that if you can help, I would be grateful if you can keep it simple.
    Thanks in anticipation.

Since you have a new iMac, you could always run Windoze on it. Otherwise, peruse http://www.apple.com/support/leopard/printing/ and see if there's anything that indicates that your printer is supported.

  • Printing Tip for Konica Minolta Bizhub C550

    Hi all,
I've been browsing the forums for the last week, as I just upgraded to Leopard at work. We use a Konica Minolta BizHub C550 for the vast majority of our printing jobs, and I found that I was having the problem others have described with the print queue inexplicably stalling repeatedly, with the job never getting printed. I'm up and running on our other 2 printers, a Magicolor 7450 and Canon iPF700.
In any case, I have found a good workaround for the BizHub. I am using the printer drivers for the Xerox WorkCentre 7655 with good results. I can choose the correct paper sizes and settings, and don't seem to be having any color matching issues (yet). So I wanted to share this, as I didn't see it in the forums when I was initially freaking out about the situation. Our sales rep we lease the printer from has been communicating with KM all week, and they apparently have no clue when they'll be ready with 10.5 compatible drivers.

    Wow,
I am not alone!!! I recently agreed to a lease of a C550. We have both Windows and Mac workstations and the performance is very poor in the Mac environment. The drivers are severely crippled.
I have been working with my sales rep, a color specialist, and an application specialist from KM and all three of them have had the same problems when testing files. And no one has offered a resolution. I should I have stayed with Xerox.
I have had the same problem as you described. As well as very bad color results. If I try to send a file in CMYK mode on the Mac workstation everything is extremely dark (Light Brown turns Black, etc.) The same file on the windows computer in CMYK is fine. Also, I have taken the same files to a Xerox dealer to compare. The files came out much more accurate (as close as can be expected for a color laser print). I have been in the design and printing industry for over 10 years and I have never been this disappointed. I am curious to see how things turn out and how many other Apple user are left behind with Konica Minolta Drivers.

  • Need Driver for Minolta PageWorks 20 Laser Printer, Mac OS 10.4.11, G5

Does anyone have any idea where I can find a driver for the Minolta PageWorks 20 printer? I can't find it on the Minolta site nor in a Google search. Generically it'll work with a LaserWriter driver, but I am unable to utilize the different configurations available on the printer itself (which tray to print from and so forth). Or if it's not available, does anyone know how I can customize the standard LaserWriter driver to run this specific printer? Many thanks!

    Hi,
I'd try a PPD from another QMS printer, like this one...

  • Konica Minolta page pro 1350w printing issue

I have a mac book and recently acquired an old printer from Konica Minolta (page pro 1350w). Since the printer is only windows compatible and I am looking Mac compatible driver for this printer. I also acquired 2 new toner cartridge for this so I want to use this printer.
    Can anyone help?
PS. If Matt Broughton can see this message, would you please post the driver package that you posted here back in 2006 one more time? I saw your postings but the link to download the driver package for konica minolta printers is not working any more.
Thank you in advance and I will really appreciate your help.

You are the greatest! I was having trouble too and tried so many different things (I hope I didn't mess anything up in the process - knock on wood) to get this running and your link made it work. There was a site that had me downloading usbtb, some X Developer program, and finally I found your link and voila! thank you!

  • Is there any driver Konica Minolta Di2510f for Snow leopard?

Is there any driver Konica Minolta Di2510f for Snow leopard?

You have a very old printer. The lastest driver I saw was one for Tiger. Whether it works in Snow Leopard?
Are you able to physically attach the printer to your Mac (unknown), because being very old, it may not even be able to plug into it. Most modern Macs require USB.
The link I found, though I don't think the software would be all that useful.

  • Printer driver konica minolta di1610

    Hi
I am installing a network printer, it is a konika minolta 1610, I can not find the driver for the printer
    can someone help me?
    Regards

    Miguel,
Assuming you have a di1610p, this is a PCL-based device. Leopard supposedly now supports PCL with a generic driver. You will not find a "Macintosh" driver on the Konica Minolta website because Mac is still considered to be a Postscript platform.
That said, the drivers that are available for your di1610 can be found at:

  • Driver functionality om Konica Minolta Bizhub c250

My office printer is a Konica Minolta Bizhub c250. I'm trying to install the printer on my new macbook pro running osx 10.6.6. The printer seems to support mac, and I downloaded the drivers from:
    http://onyxftp.mykonicaminolta.com/download/SearchResults.aspx?productname=c250
The drivers seems to install fine, and I'm able to print pages. The problem is that there are no advanced driver settings (two-sided printing, settings for color/greyscale etc).
After installing the drivers I get a window with some settings - I select "duplex unit" but this doesnt seem to do anything.
Is there a way to install this printer with full functionality like duplex-printing, color/greyscale, stapling etc. ?

I installed the drivers you cited and created a dummy printer. The options you want are there--just not in the usual places. In a print window use the pop up menu to look for the various categories of options. For Duplex, look under the Finishing. You will find a check box for Duplex. For Color/Grayscale, use Quality -> Select Color.
I think you will find all the options you need in the print window. You will just have to explore all the various option categories until you find the choices you want.
