OS 9.2.1 with CD-RW only drive -- OS 10.4 Tiger on DVD's .........

Good morning.
I have a free and functional Quicksilver 867 with 9.2.1 and a CD-RW optical drive.
I need to upgrade to OS 10.4. I have full retail 10.4 DVD (not CDs), a new "superdrive" optical, and a new 120 GB HD to get functional.
Can anybody suggest the best strategy for doing this?

Install your superdrive into the QS as replacement of the CD-RW drive. Use the videos here for instruction.
Leave the original drive with OS 9 in the machine, update OS 9 to 9.2.2, and add the 120GB drive to the second position.
You can, if room permits, install Tiger to the original drive (along with OS 9) and this will give you dual boot volumes, with Classic support also available in Tiger.
If the original drive is small, you could then clone the system drive to the larger 120GB drive, using SuperDuper! . After that, the original drive can be relegated to backup, or media/audio files or such.
If you have the OS 9 install discs, or, if you don't want OS 9, install the 120GB drive in lieu of the existing drive, and install Tiger. If you need classic support, OS 9 can be installed before or after Tiger.

Firefox printing incorrectly to printer with Generic /Text Only driver

I have a printer that uses the Generic / Text Only driver, and everytime I try and print to it with Firefox, a carrage return is added after every space. For example this text:

Gets printed like this:

The text gets printed correctly if I use IE9 or notepad. Any suggestions?

My guess would be it has created an entirely new backup of your drive when you upgraded to Mavericks.

Your media is only where you put it.
Installing iTunes and signing into your iTunes account does not cause media to magically appear.
Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer or the backup of the old computer to the new computer.
FYI, there is nothing to import and if you are smart and want to avoid duplicates you will NOT import anything.

Accidentally pressed "sync with this computer only" which was my friends computer and now i can't sync any of my songs from my laptop. Is there any way to fix this?

Radio Button with Submit Ready Only problem

My radio button with submit ready only condition doesn't work correctly. When I click the a link on the first page
it brings me to an update page. I have a radio button with submit, that won't open as a read only.
It is being populated by SQL query, with the Null option selected. When I open the page I don't want the user to be able to edit the field unless they delete records associated with the field. Pretty much I want it to be disabled if the user has a record associated with it.

If that is the source of the radiogroup, then it should be:

WHERE DFCY_SEQNO = :P12_DFCY_SEQNOThis should return two values for each radio button - the displayed text and the returned value. If your radios do not have a returned value, then "Yes" will never be found. You can check this by loading the page and doing a View Source on it - search for RADIO and check what "value" attributes they have.

If your iPhone cell carrier allows you to use Tethering, you can turn your iPhone into a wifi hotspot, then your iPad Air can connect to that for internet access. Not all cell carriers allow tethering without you signing up for additional fees/services. For example, AT&T in the US still has grandfathered "unlimited" data plans, but they do not allow tethering for those plans. With AT&T you need to switch to a Mobile Share plan (or a tiered plan if still available) to use tethering (legally).

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.<br />

In the csv file, the column headers must match the the special references in curly brackets.
So you either change the column header in .csv file or the bit in the curly brackets in the Template email.
To change the column header:
In the example shown below, I wanted to use the first two columns
'First Name', 'Last Name' note the exact spelling.
I also wanted the email address which was in a column called 'Primary Email'.
To make it easier for me, I copied the Primary Email column and inserted it into the third column position and then changed the column header name from 'Primary Email' to 'Email'. (This meant I still had the original column header just in case). see image below.
But you could just change the column header name from 'Primary Email' to 'Email' without moving column about - up to you.
At this point check that all the contacts do have a valid email address.
then save the file.
If you do not want to edit the .csv file, then you need to edit the template email.
eg: {{First Name}} {{Last Name}} <{{Email}}>
change to : {{First Name}} {{Last Name}} <{{Primary Email}}>
If still having an issue, please post two images.
One image needs to show the row of column headers used in .csv file.
The other image needs to show the Template email, so I can see how you have used the curly brackets.
