Os language preferences not changing system menu and windows

Hello fellow problem solvers;
I am trying to switch system preferences to French from English under X.4.3, and after log out or reboot Finder, File, Edit, View, and Go , stay in English in the finder. Applications that have localisations work fine, language inputs also have always worked.
I tried trashing preferences, even tried TinkerTool system, running a terminal command to delete the start up var files that recall the new installation program from another post on the forum.
I can't get it to work on any of the Mac's here on Tiger but it works on all on Panther.
Is this a bug, or is there something I can do to get the finder menu bar, and system windows to go back to the set system language, short of an archive and install?

I did an archive , reinstall and update by software update. That worked for the three computers. I don't know why the language package didn't work any longer as I checked with Pacifist and they were installed.
The only thing that is quite bothersome is now on the old computer the cron task weekly takes 15-20 mins if ever. Something is playing with the database.
I tried permissions, empty caches, DiscWarrior etc but it still is excessively slow.
There are two X.4.3 on the same disc each on their own volume. Any ideas?

Not malware or a virus.
But how do you explain this?

Environment Language does not change

Hello guys,can you help me with this problem? When i am running my report in other language, for example in dutch, my environment language does not change to dutch, remains in english and as a consequence,all date formats and descriptions from fnd_lookup_values or even messages stay in english.Anyone can help me?

If you don't want users to choose any other languages then the one you have defined, goto instanceconfig.xml and set the required languages between the AllowedLanguages tags. If you keep to one language the dropdown list will not appear.
This is also controlled by the language setting of your browser.And also do the above changes in the instance config files.
To change the default language on a user's login screen
In Internet Explorer, choose Tools > Internet Options.
The Internet Options dialog box appears.
Click Languages.
The Language Preference dialog box appears.
All the language which is installed languages appear in the Languages list.
By Default the language at the top of the list is used.
Modify by using the Up and Down buttons to position the desired language at the top of the list.
Restart the browser and log into Oracle BI Presentation Services.
The default language should match the language in the browser's Language list.
NOTE: If a user does not select a different language from the drop-down list on the login screen, the setting for the User Interface Language at the user's My Account screen determines the language in which the user interface is displayed.

Captivate 7 is not capturing system audio, and the software has a broken link

The Problem:
Captivate 7 is not capturing system audio. When I start a screen recording, the line with "System Audio" and its checkbox are eternally grayed out. Next to the grayed out words is a link that says, "Why is this disabled?"
The lnik goes to: http://www.adobe.com/go/cpaudio
Which is not a valid link, so Adobe's site redirects me to blogs.adoble.com/captivate which is ZERO help. Both browsing and the search bar bring no answers.
The Device:
Apple Macbook Air, Mid 2013, running OSX 10.9.2.
What I've done already:
Obvsiously I have set Captivate 7's preferences to capture system audio, and have set System Settings -> Security and Privacy -> Privacy -> Accessibility to allow Captivate to control my computer.
I have also tried clicking the Mic icon, Selecting Source with the System Audio icon and that doesn't record system audio either. It acts like it is recording system audio, but when I stop recording I get a popup that says, "Cannot record system audio. Ensure that you are playing audio on your computer [Okay]"

It's a wierd one.
One thing to try, and this fixes a lot of things, trash your preferences.

Calendar (not called iCal anymore) does not include that capability any longer, apparently. What you have to do now is go to Automator and create a Calendar Alert action. You can add a Run AppleScript object to the action and paste in your script there, then when you save it, it will become available as a choice in the alert menu in Calendar.

All you need is a physical plug adapter, not a voltage converter. All Apple chargers work on any voltage from 110 - 240 worldwide.

Cursor does not change for pop-up window

I created a link for a pop-up window. The link does work, but the cursor does not change to a pointy finger, the standard link icon.
I don't know a lot of javascript, but can figure it out if it's just adding some code. Any help would be appreciated! Here's the code:

i got the same problem.(cursor not change for pop-up windows) and because i m not an expert in internal html code i did try several solutions to fix it.
The easiest (but also even longer if u need to do severals) is to create a button (withs 2 overflight changing pics) with "inserer", "image survolée"
the "image survolée" can be linked to a pop-up window with the correct effect. To do so highlight the "expected new link to" and on right side task bar ad a "comportement" named "ouvrir la fenetre du navigateur" and optionally choose the size and windows available function of the pop-up. It works even if u need to proceed first with an overflight changing button.
The result is longer to obtain and not absolutely perfect. So I guess it s only an help solution for a single mateer. i would be glad to get another solution with a text link rather than using the overflight button system. Technically it should be better, more efficient and faster to proceed with applying an html code that really makes the text appearing as a classic link to a new windows whatever pop up or full size window. Please let me know if u get further answer to fix this problem.

BDLS: Partner profiles not change - System Landscape Copy (SRM+HCM+ERP)

Can anybody help me for system copy i.e. production to quality.
System Landscape:
- 1 central HCM System
- 1 central SRM System
- 6 Backend Systems (ERP)
Problem: Change Log. Systemnames (SALE) and Partner Profiles (WE20) and ALE-Distribution Model (BD64).
We run BDLS (change RFC/log.Systemnames/ change BD64), but we have problems with Partner Profiles (WE20). Which do not change !
Anybody knows this problem?
What can I do?

Running BDLS would not normally revert the setting for the partner profiles. You could either load it again via backup transport or make new entries accordingly to the specific settings prior to the system copy.

CJ20N LANGUAGE ZH NOT IN SYSTEM

Hello guys,
I have a problem related the chinese language. Despite the report RSCPINST shows that the language is correctly installed ( I see the ZH in the list) and the parameter correctly maintained in the DEFAULT profile (value 1 set). when i try to create a project from a model prevoisly saved it shows me an error like
LANGUAGE (chinese symbol) NOT IN SYSTEM.
what can I do? any suggestion?
p.s the table T002 has the correctly entry even for ZH

It seems that all the requirements have been met now as you are able to login correctly. System will always prompt for error " Language not in system" message only in case if you try to login in a language which has not been installed in your system.
In case you want to use any other language for your system then please get appropriate language pack installed for your system.
Apart from that you have met with all the requirements.
