OS X 10.4.10 showing mulitple faults?

Just powered up my iMac and desktop was set to randomly changing everycouple of seconds. Fixed using the system preferences. But the dock will not appear, I have tried using comand-option-D and system preferences window neither will work. Other problems are 1. can not bring up 'About this mac' 2. System will not shutdown or restart from menu I must use the power button and 3. I cannot use the side buttons on the mouse to switch between program on the desktop. I looked for viruses information but found no new information.

According to Alsoft, the makers of Disk Warrior, this problem started with Quicktime 7.0.4. There is a fix that involves changing the name of an audio file inside the Disk Warrior package folder but Alsoft has advised me that they do not recommend this and instead recommend a downgrade of Quicktime to 7.0.3. Alsoft also says that the crash is harmless and that the disk directory is safely re-built before the crash.
The fix (found on MacFixit.com) is to right-click on the Disk Warrior application icon and select Show Package Contents. From there open Contents and then Resources folder. In the Resources folder is a file named Complete.aiff (It's a sound file. If you double click it and you will here the "ting" that happens when Disk Warrior is finished. Change the name of this file to something like AlarmComplete.aiff. Next time you run Disk Warrior it will not crash after finishing. As I said, Alsoft said it's Quicktime 7.0.4 that's doing this. The fix does work. It's up to you if you want to try it.

Hello All.
We have a scenario IDOC to JDBC [ async-sync] scenario. And we have used Async/sync bridge using request response bean module.
Now the issue is that when IDOC is triggered from ECC it shows Commit fault:ASJ:ejb 005043[failed in component] error in SM58.
And if we click on "execute LUW" option the IDOC message reaches PI and gets processed successfully.
Could you please let me know how to fix this.

NWA logs shows the following error :

After creating RAID 5 for hard disks, CIMC shows Modrate fault

Dear all,
There are two UCS servers which the model is C240 M3
When I created RAID 5 for hard disks, CIMC shows Modrate fault.
The warring message is
storage virtual drive 0 degraded: please check the storage controller, or reseat the storage drive ucs
anybody has idea for this case? Thank you!

The warning message appears if you do not have a Battery BAckup Unit Instllated on the server. I just worked with Cisco TAC and following is the solution.:
1. Launch KVM Console of the server
2. Power Cycle the Server
3. When LSI RAID configuration window displays, press CTRL+H and start the RAID Configuration Utility.
4. Click on Virtual Drive. Example Virtual Drive 0.
5. Change Default Write Mode to "Write Through" and click "Change"
6. Press "Yes" to take the effect.
7. Exit from RAID Configuration Utility nad restart the server.

Itunes shows a fault and it has to be closed

when i try to open itunes then it says 'itunes has a fault and it needs to be closed down' i don't know what to do.
i tryd uninstalling in and reinstalling it but it still shows the same mistake...
if anybody here can help me or show a usefull topic about this problem

I have encountered the same exact problem with my itunes. I have read that you need to have quicktime installed for itunes to work: I ran the unistall for itunes and quicktime and it tells me that it has been successfully removed. Then I go to try to install the "only quicktime" option and it starts installing but cannot finish because "a newer version of quicktime is already installed and must be removed before the installation can be completed." Even with quicktime unistalled it is still showing the little quicktime icon on the bottom right side, but you can't get any response right clicking on the icon and choosing options. Any ideas on how I can get rid of this quicktime that keeps running in the background. I had itunes on this hard-drive before but needed to reinstall xp for this new computer that the hard drive is now in.

How do i show mulitple parameters in a header?

here is my delima...
I have a parameter that asks for a certain resource unit id which is a number.
So the user chooses #31 which has an abbreviation of ORA.
or they can choose #53 which has an abbreviation of ORD-A.
I have a formula that says:
if {?resunitid} = 0 then "ALL"else {psmresunit.resunit_name}
if they choose both I need for the header to say ORA & ORD-A but right now the only that prints is the first resourse unit that they pick.
I tried combining that 'join' formula that i had been sent, but it keeps failing on me.
Can anyone help me?
so the parameter that the end user sees is a number, but what i need printed out on the header (which is that formula) needs to show both names and i can't figure it out..

1. Create a subreport and link it on the parameter to the value in the table which would equate to {?resunitid} being linked to {psmresunit.resunit_code} .
2. In the subreport, create a formula such as:
stringvar x;if {?Pm-?resunitid} = {psmresunit.resunit_code} thenx := x + {psmresunit.resunit_name} & ", ";
3. Place the above formula in the report footer of the subreport. Right click on it and then on format field and on the Common tab, check the box next to Can Grow.
4. Place this subreport in the page header of the main report.

Iphoto 11 slide show Export fault

ok when i export the slide show to m4v 1280*800 first 2 mins ok but after 2mins the m4v displayed white screen and music normal,who can help me?

Go to the Photos mode in iPhoto and double click on the thumbnail of one of the photos in the slideshow that appear white. What do you see?

Why does the latest version continue to show CSS faults after they are corrected?

After updating Firefox yesterday, I made an error with some css code and Firefox immediately picked it up (very helpful). After correcting the error, Firefox continues to show the error unless I validate the page and then re-open with Firefox. The same error is shown for every page in my local folder regardless of the fact that the error was never made on those pages. Is this new with the update, or am I unaware of a simple reset procedure? CSS Error: Unexpected end of file while searching for closing } of invalid rule set. My operating system is Windows 7. The problem not an issue for me unless I need to learn something about using Firefox.

Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache.
* Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
* Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
* Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC)

10.9.1 shows mulitple installs

Looking in the App Store, I show 10.9.1 five separate times in the "Updates Installed in the Last 30 Days" section. However, 10.9.1 still shows up in the "Updates Available" section and I'm still showing 10.9 in "About this Mac".
No errors are displayed during the reboot cycle.
Have not yet tried direct download.
Anyone seeing similar issues?

If it does not work, hold the Shift key while your computer is starting up to start up in safe mode, and run the OS X 10.9.1 installer again

Itunes shows multiple listings for the same files (songs), help ???

dunno why, but Itunes is showing mulitple listing for my file (songs), is there a way to clean this up instead of going through the list one by one to get rid of the extra listing...?? thank you in advance...

It looks like you have duplicate entries in the library (two entries pointing to the same song file), but you could also have duplicate files.
Add the 'Date Added' column to the library (View Options, Command-J) and sort on 'Date Added'.
If many songs show the same recent 'Date Added' and you didn't actually add them that day, those ones obviously are the duplicates.
Compare a few of those entries with their duplicate ones.
Do they point to the same file? If so, delete the last added ones, but choose 'Keep Files'.
If they point to different files, delete the last added ones and choose 'Move to Trash'
If the above does not help, you might find a useful script at www.dougscripts.com/itunes
Search for "duplicate" to find the appropriate scripts.
You will still have to remove the entries manually though.

I have iTunes error out a lot now. The Windows Event Log shows this:
Faulting module quicktime.qts, version 7.55.90.70, fault address 0x001517a4.
I get this if I leave iTunes idle for awhile. Any idea how to avoid this one?

I have the same problem. But everytime I connect my iPod touch I get this error. Only just started happening in the last few weeks, I can't identify what I have changed to cause it, or exactly when it started. It works fine on the work computer. Only new thing I can think of is I attached my PIXMA MP800 printer otherwise only other things I have done is I had to hard reset the iPod touch and I have updated some of the apps on it via wireless connection.

How to use Fault schema in WSDL for Error Handling in ALSB

We are not able to view the fault element in our alsb flow under body variable and when we get the error in test console the error comes in bea fault schema,but we want the error in our own defined fault schema.Pls. guide.
Below are the steps we followed to create a wsdl.
Steps:
1. We created a webservice project in workspacestudio and generated a wsdl.
2. Then we have added a fault element manually in that wsdl.
3. Now we have generated a webservice from that modified wsdl.
4. Again we have generated a wsdl from webservice created in step 3.
5. step 4 wsdl is tested and running well on server.
When we try to configure that service as Proxy/Business service in ALSB and view the XPATH Expression Editor, we are not able to view Fault element under variable structures under body variable as shown below.But when we see the design view of our running wsdl in workspace studio it shows the fault element.How to get the fault element in variable body so that we can view the error in our logs in our defined Fault schema instead of BEA fault schema.WDSL is enclosed as an attachment.

Have you tried using the "Log" action in your pipeline proxy and log for $body and $fault. This will defin return the $body and $fault if these were parsed correctly

The ECC's business system has Technical System,Client number and Logical System Name.
Also the same is reflected in BS of Integration Builder. it has the logical system, R/3 system and client number in Adapter specific identifiers.

Facing issue while handling faults using fault-policies.xml

Scenario: One Asynchronous Bpel is trying invoke the webservice. When the status of the webservice is "Down", the BPEL will throw "System fault : remoteFault"
This fault will be handled by the fault-policies.xml.
CustomFaultHandler.java : basically it will print data to audit-trail and send data to the JMS Queue.
I am facing some issues , when i am trying to handle faults using fault-policies.xml.
Issue1: Display warning message at time of deployment : Warning: Schema validation failed for fault-policies.xmlXML-24506: (Error) Identity constraint validation error: 'Key sequence not found in key reference'

My SOA suite version is 11.1.1.7 and i was getting the same warning while compiling the Composite in JDeveloper. To fix it update your fault-policy.xml
Change it to

Same fault closed and reopened the same day, I won...

I reported fault VOL012-********* on Friday 31 May 2013. It was closed on Saturday 1 June 2013, and a new fault reference number VOL012-********** opened. The customer is the same, the line is the same, the fault condition is the same and has remained unrepaired since being first reported on Friday. I have no idea why this has happened. Does it happen often?
I guess the metrics will show a Friday fault promply resolved on Friday and a Saturday fault that carried onto Monday and is still open as I write... .

This is a BT Retail Customer to Customer Help forum. So the majority of the community members on here that are trying to help you are just BT Retail customers like your neighbour.
From the fault diagram you have posted, it shows the fault maybe on the Openreach external network that connects to the property (eg the phone line from the DP). This requires an Openreach engineer to look at the external infrastructure to see if there is a problem there.
If the problem is not found there, then they may request an Openreach engineer visit to the property. Which is where the £99 to £130 comes from if the fault is found to be within the customers property or the customer equipment.
It may be the case of waiting till the 6th June. The openreach engineer will not visit the property unless they can't find the fault on the external network.
If there is still a problem by the end of 6th June then the BT Care team will be able to help.
