I think you have a pre-release 10.8.3 version. Install OS X 10.8.3 build 12D78 using the Combo installer > http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1640
If, after installing the final 10.8.3 version, the problem keeps appearing, update VMware to the most recent version. Finally, if it doesn't solve the problem, I would start thinking about a damaged NVIDIA graphic card

But even then unless someone recognises the stack trace you will need to engage your formal support options to get the dumps analysed and hence get to root cause.
are you getting vmcore.N and unix.N files created in /var/crash/'uname -n'/ if so run up mdb -k
eg mdb -k unix.2 vmcore.2
and see what you get from ::stack or ::msgbuf

Itunes + Windows 7 64 bit - very frequently hangs
Have latest update of Itunes installed (the one from the other day) - but all varients of 9 have been doing same thing for me
bascially randomly, sometimes on start of Itunes, sometimes 1 min in, and especially if downloading any Podcasts etc Itunes completely hangs, and hangs the whole computer/Windows - have to do a hard restart
if I set to "compatability mode XP SP3" - I don't get anywhere near as many hangs - in fact mostly is stable, but is slower, and I can't do drag and drop and all sorts of other things
unselect compatability mode and very very frequent crashes/hangs. Itunes hangs whether Ipod Touch is attached or not
no other program whatsoever on my computer completely hangs the OS
have performed complete reinstalls of Windows 7 in meantime, and always have the same problem
PC is a Q6600, an Asus P5B Deluxe mobo, 6 gig RAM, 4890 graphics
any ideas please ?
thanks, Mark.I had tried some links I found on internet.
What worked finally was to disable all add-ons using Help --> Restart with add-ons Disabled. With this way I verified with all the add-ons disabled there was on performance problem (like my second machine with Windows 7 32 bit).
After that, I started to enable the add-ons starting from the more important for me. It still worked with no problem. I left disabled some non-important for me.
I am not sure whether the problem was from those that I left out or whether the whole process "corrected or reset" something. The result is the same. Firefox 4 in Win7 64 works like in Win7 32. -
Acrobat XI Pro: very frequent crashing.
I have Acrobat XI Pro at home and at work, and I love its features and use it several times a week to edit pdf documents. It is essential to the work I'm doing. However, the program crashes very frequently when I am doing this, and the loss of work and time is frustrating, even though I try to remember to save constantly. I am posting here as a way to report this and get help. I am using content editing and commenting tools when the crashing is happening. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
Hi crob26,
Have you tried updating Acrobat to v 11.0.09 and checked the performance?
Regards,
Rave -
Very frequently I cannot click on any links within firefox. I have to either alt-tab or minimize the browser in order for me to navigate through website.
This appears to be only issue with firefox and nothing else on my computer as I don't have this problem with any other program or web broswer.
I needed to alt tab 5 times just to get this question submitted, very annoying! That problem can be caused by the Yahoo! Toolbar or the Babylon extension that extents too much downwards and covers the top part of the browser window and thus makes links and buttons in that part of the screen not clickable.

Hi All,
Do we have any permanent fix to address the License error? Since the user are observing this issue very frequently. Every time Adobe License Recovery tool http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/licensing.html is being executed to recover the license. Checked on many adobe forums could not find any resolution for recurring issue.
Any suggestions on this issue?
Thanks in Advance.
RajeshI have been having the licensing issue with Windows 8. I have run the licensing repair tool every few weeks. It never "sticks". Acrobat will work fine for a few weeks, maybe a month, then the error comes back. Does anyone know of a permament fix. Thanks.

CPU usage -- changing very frequently after setting Streams
Hello All,
We implemented Bi-direactional Replication using streams and is working fine.
All of a sudden CPU usage spiked up on one database.
It is changing very frequently sometimes it reaches even 100% .
and this problem is on both the databases.
Please help ,Production issue
Thanks and Regards
NickHello,
You need to find out which process consumes the CPU (it could be the capture slaves or apply slaves). There are many bugs on this area. Check the metalink Note:4378381. and check if you have applied all the recommended patches on top of your patchset.
It would be always better if you mention the PatchSet level (like 10.2.0.4) and OS Platform (like Solaris SPARC 64bit) for all databases involved in this configuration especially when you raise a thread to address a specific problem (than a consultative one).
Thanks,
Rijesh -
I have a 27" iMac connected to several others pc and to Server via router. Very frequently Lan or internet drops in my iMac. I Have OS 10.6.7 with all updates.
Issues like this are going to be related to the network. Intermittant problems are typically due to network interference, have you checked istumbler.net to get a report of your network?

Very frequent system freezes on XI 3.1
Hello:
We are experiencing very frequent system freezes where the system wont let you get pass the logon page for INfoview or CMC.
It also wont allow any of the BOBJ tools to logon.
The only way to resolve this issue seem to be to reboot the environment after killing all unix processes.
Has anyone experienced this issue?
BOE XI 3.1 SP3
SAP IK Sp3
HPUX-IA64 (unix) deployment
happens on single server and on multi server environment.
Tomcat55
JDK (bobj prepackage)I agree that reboots (and I mean restarting just the bobj services) are seldom.
However in our environment after a certain about of days of usages (say 10 days or) after certain amount of schedules the environment locks ups.
and the only way to release it is to kill -9 the services on unix.
The cms service is the one having the issues as it is non responsive. You can't even complete a logon, even when using ccm.sh -display. We've been working with SAP support now for 3+ months without any resolution.
in the systemlogs the following errors are present on the machine where the cms is frozen:
businessobjects[2314]: Transport error: No response from server, timeout exceeded. -

RFC_NO_AUTHORITY ABAP dumps coming very frequently
Hello
We are getting abap dumps in Production system and the details are below :
RFC_NO_AUTHORITY
ABAP dumps RFC_NO_AUTHORITY are coming very frequently in the Production system. The dumps are occurring for user ID "SOLM_REMOTE" in DBCI only. This dumps comes every hour from Sep to till date. Also in the short text it has mentioned, User "User "SOLM_REMOTE" has no RFC authorization for function group "TMW_TRACKING". The termination occurred in the ABAP/4 program "SAPLTMW_TRACKING " in "TMW_VERSION_TEST". The main program was "SAPMSSY1 ".
Provided the RFC authorization for function group "TMW_TRACKING" for the user SOLM_REMOTE.
The user SOLM_REMOTE has all the authorizations. From the authorization perspective everything seems to be fine.
But still we are getting many RFC_NO_AUTHORITY abap dumps frequently in production system.
Please help me in this regard.
Many thanks in Advance.

Firefox is locking up VERY frequently after every few seconds unless I minimize the window and maximize it again. But then in a few seconds it locks up again, I am unable to click anything or DO anything and it is becoming extremely annoying! Ya'll just released a new version that I'd hoped would have fixed this issue, apparently not...and I also can't select an option in a drop down box, I have to use my keyboard to do so...
== This happened ==
Every time Firefox openedYeah I'm seeing this as well. A force quit and relaunch seems to solve the problem for a while.
IMHO the app has just gone downhill in the last few years. Useful tools like browser history from the back button are hidden / rendered useless (click and hold doesn't work so well from a track pad), and it's performance just isn't what it used to be. -
After recent upgrade to IOS 7 i an seeing systems rebooting very frequently. it just goes offline and comeback online after some time. IS this hardware issue or others also facing the same
Hello there, Kishoresaraogi.
The following Knowledge Base article provides some great steps to troubleshoot your issue:
iPhone: Hardware troubleshooting
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2802
Particularly:
Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.
Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.
Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.
Cheers,
Pedro. -
Very frequent Time Machine corruption since I upgraded to Mountain Lion
Since I upgraded to Mountain Lion, I encounter very frequent Time Machine corruption.
A few backups are OK, and then, I get an error "Time Machine has verified your backups and needs to create a new copy in order to enhance fiability...".
In the console, I can see a lot of these errors :
29/07/12 11:10:33,384 com.apple.backupd[17480]: Error (256): fetching properties: Error Domain=NSCocoaErrorDomain Code=256 "The file “objects.xib” couldn’t be opened." Everything has been working perfectly well on OSX Lion for months...
I already have reselected my Time Machine volume, and already have accepted a full new backup (3 times !) and it always finish like this...
Any idea ?I had the same general problem: every few minutes I would get the message "There was a problem connecting to the server 'myserver'. Contact your system administrator for more information."
The problem went away for me when I reset the sync server.

I hope this works for others as well.
