OS X 10.8.5 - Mail Signature

Hi,
I tried this so many times but I could not find it.I guess there  must be a way to do this.
How can i put my Facebook / Twitter link to my facebook/twitter icon (image) attached to my signature ?
Thanks,
Berke

This is probably exactly what you are looking for to automate this:
http://www.companysig.com
It is free to make an account. Note you will still have to insert the raw code into the .mailsignature file, lock it, etc, once the signature is generated, and manually remove the 'company sig' from the bottom.
Here is an example:
The HTML for ^this^ ( BOLD indicates what you must fill in):
<html><head></head><body><table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" style="background: #F5F5F5; padding: 10px; border: 1px solid #E9E9E9; margin: 10px 0 10px 0; width: 100%;"> <tbody> <tr> <td valign="top" style="width: 5px;"> </td> <td bgcolor="#F5F5F5" valign="top" style="padding-left:5px;"> <span style="letter-spacing:1px; text-align: left; color: #000000; font-family: Arial; font-size: 8pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: bold;">PERSON NAME</span> <span style="letter-spacing:1px; line-height:150%; text-align: left; color: #000000; font-family: Arial; font-size: 8pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal;"> <font size="1" color="Black">|</font> JOB TITLE <br> COMPANY NAME <font size="1" color="Black">|</font> ADDRESS LINE Area Code <br> TELEPHONE <font size="1" color="Black">|</font> MOBILE <br> </span> <a href="http://WEBSITEURL" target="_blank"><img style="border: none; margin-top: 5px;" src="http://www.companysig.com/images/but_web_black.png" title="Website" alt="WebsiteGB" height="16" width="77"></a>   <a class="email" href="mailto:[email protected]" target="_blank" attr="email"><img style="border: none;" src="http://www.companysig.com/images/but_email_black.png" title="email" alt="email" height="16" width="77"></a>    <a href="http://www.companysig.com/vcards/show_vcard2.php/MAEMWQ271015.vcf"><img style="border: none;" src="http://www.companysig.com/images/but_vcard_black.png" title="Vcard Save Contact" alt="Vcard Save Contact" height="16" width="76"></a>   <a class="url" href="http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=ADDRESSLINE+AreaCode" target="_blank" attr="mapURL"><img style="border: none;" src="http://www.companysig.com/images/but_map_black.png" title="View map" alt="View map" height="16" width="55"></a>   <a href="http://www.facebook.com/MYURL" target="_blank"><img style="border: none;" src="http://www.companysig.com/images/but_facebook.png" title="Facebook button" alt="Facebook button" height="16" width="16"></a>  <a href="http://www.twitter.com/MYURL" target="_blank"><img style="border: none;" src="http://www.companysig.com/images/but_twitter.png" title="Twitter button" alt="Twitter button" height="16" width="16"></a>   <br> <a style="color: #c2c2c2; text-decoration: none; vertical-align:middle;" class="url" href="http://www.companysig.com" target="_blank" attr="webURL"> </a></td> </tr> </tbody><tbody> </tbody></table> </body></html>
Actually a cool site, and highly customizable. After you have made to your liking:

  • Add custom content before E-Mail signature. In outlook add-in c# développment

    Hello,
I have make an add-in 2013 for outlook project in C#. I upload on a server some file and put in the mail body the link to them. But i want to add this 'link part' before the E-mail Signature. How could I do that?
I have healready see code that enable me to get the signature file and read them. But i didn't know if it work on all the os and Outlook version. And the file is not copy past on the end of the body mail. So it didn't help me at all.
Ask me for more information if needed.
I thanks you for you're help.

    Aurelien,
When you create a signature in Outlook three files (HTM,
TXT and RTF) are created in the following folder:
    Vista and Windows 7/8:
    C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Signatures
    Windows XP :
    C:\Documents and Settings\<UserName>\Application Data\Microsoft\Signatures
"Application Data" and "AppData" are hidden folders, change the view in Windows explorer so it show hidden files and folders if you want to
    see the files.
So, you read the content of these files and try to find the corresponding content in the message body. Note, users may type a custom signature in the end of
    emails.

  • How can I create an HTML Mail signature?

I've spent the evening searching for a way to create an HTML Mail signature with no luck.  My problem is that when I create a new signature in Mail and close mail I try the following:
    1.  Create an HTML signature in Dreamweaver CS6
    2.  Open it in Safari &amp; save it as a .webarchive to the desktop &amp; close Safari &amp; Dreamweaver
    3.  Open the signature folder (through Finder) and copy the Mail generated name (.mailsignature or it could be .signaturemail - can't remember) &amp; delete the file
    4.  Click on the .webarchive and replace the name with the .mailsignature
    5.  Copy the new .mailsignature file &amp; paste it to the signature file
    6.  Open mail and try to use the signature
    7.  NOT WORKING
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR ANY SUGGESTIONS!
PS  I use iCloud if that makes any difference.

  • How do i add a LinkedIn badge to Apple Mail signature

Does someone know how to add popular badges (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter) to Apple Mail signatures.  Just badge icon with a hyperlink to my profile.

Actually I just figured it out.  Within your public profile on LinkedIn is an area for LinkedIn badges on right side.  Click there and it will display several types of badges.  Right click on the badge you want to use and do a "save as" to desktop.
Now go into Mail preferences, signatures.  Copy and paste the icon you've saved to your desktop wherever you would like the badge to display within your signature.  Then go to Edit on top menu and select "add link".  This will open a box where you need to fill in your LinkedIn address that displays right below your profile photo.  Save this.
This will turn the badge into a hyperlink that will connect to your LinkedIn Profile.  To test it, create a new email using this signature and do a test send.  When you receive the test email click on the badge to confirm that it takes you to your LinkedIn Profile.
    Good luck!

  • Is it possible to include the device name in an e-mail signature?

    Greetings,
I am currently managing 150 iPads we have deployed in our school system.  The iPads are on carts of 30 which are moved from classroom to classroom as needed. For student work I have set up Dropbox and it has been working fine.  However, a few teachers requested the iPads be set up with e-mail which can be used to prevent filling up our Dropbox space.  I have successfully done this using a shared Exchange e-mail address between all the devices.  However, this has begun to cause some minor issues as the students can send an e-mail essentually anonymously from any of the iPads.  We are trying to avoid creating e-mail accounts for all the students or iPads and I figured the easiest way to do this would be to add the device name to the e-mail signature.  After searching for a while I have not come up with a yes or no as to whether this is possible or not.  If it is not, are there any other solutions that don't involve a lot of work after reimaging the devices.  Thanks in advance!
    ~Cameron

You can set the signature for an email to be anything you want it to be. Go to the Mail, Contacts, Calendars setting and go to the Signatures area. There is however no way I know of to lock this setting, so the students can just remove the device name if they know about the setting. I also don't know if there's a way to automate the configuration so you don't have to do this manually on each iPad. Perhaps someone else here will know.
    Regards.

  • My mail signature links no longer work

my mail signature links no longer work

    Hello Immunetoall,
    What video links?
Are they stored locally on the computer or are you visiting a website?
    What browser do you use?
Where do these videos link to? (e.g. youtube)
What happens when you click on a video link? Saying "it doesn't work" doesn't really tell me what you are seeing to be able to accurately understand your issue.

  • Inserting a banner in a mail signature

I have attempted to insert a banner in a mail signature using apple>mail>preferences>signature and then inserting the following code
It does not display correctly when sending or when a recipient has received the mail message.

Hi! I've also been trying all day to insert the French & Saunders banner. If I have any success I'll let you know. Perhaps you could do the same.

  • How do I add a link to my website in mail signatures

Hi all I am new to Apple Communities - I am trying to add a hyperlink to my website address in my Mail signature. I have had a look at so many posts and found this fairly useful:  http://mydesignpad.com/create-a-complex-html-email-signature-for-mail-on-mac-os- x-10-9-mavericks/. I have also looked at other sites but keep getting stuck at step 6:
I have located the Library in Finder
    Go to ~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData/Signatures/
but this is nowhere to be found. How can I get over this issue?

  • How do you link an image within a Mail signature to a website?

I do link words to a website, but I can't find how to link images in Mail signatures to websites. Could anyone help? THX!

    Hi drewdollar,
If you have Acrobat, you can use the Edit Text & Images tool on the Content Editing pane of the Tools panel. Just select Edit Text & Images, and then drag the image where you'd like it to appear on the page.
    Best,
    Sara

  • How do I change line spacing in a Mail signature?  Where's the formatting menu?

I want to reduce double-spacing in my Mail signature to single spacing so it's more compact and doesn't take up all kinds of vertical space (more than the email itself--I've had recipients complain about this--and it's a business email).  I have a logo (.png) in the signature that I've been using with no problem.  I have text above and below the logo.  It's just too widely spaced.  Surely there must be a formatting menu that I can use to shrink the line spacing in Mail Signatures?  Or elsewhere, then reimport and have the formatting stick?  This is a pretty basic feature for an email client to offer.  Is there a simple solution to this?

  • Mail Signature Issues (multiple)

Cumulatively I have spend 20-30 hours trying to make a signature and continue to have issues (never see this experience in APPLE holiday commercials!). I have researched this Board and there are a few cross-overs, but I am including them all here to be complete. I am hoping someone at APPLE adds these to their list and addresses the many issues in creating a signature. As a small business owner, I do not have time or money to invest in a simple e-mail signature and should not be spending this much time on something so simple.
    1) Icons w/hyperlinks launch safari when viewing the email on IPAD/IPHONE, but do not launch when viewed on MAC
In my signature I have a row of social media icons with hyperlinks. If I send an email to a iPad or iPhone, the recipient can tap the icons and the sites open just fine. However, if I send an email to someone on a MAC, clicking those icons only opens up image viewer (showing the icons). I can tell they have hyperlinks by mousing over them, can even copy and paste into safari and open the sites. But for some reason viewing them on a Mac does not open the sites. Any thoughts?
    2) Cannot Control Hyperlink Placement Well
As stated, toward the bottom of my signature I have a row of 6 social media icons, each with hyperlinks. I successfully inserted the icons, edited the hyperlinks, etc. Just below this row of icons, I have additional signature text (my address, a paragraph of privacy/legal language). Upon hyperlinking the last social media icon in the row, ALL text below it (my address, legal language, etc.) assumes the same hyperlink of the last icon in that row. As much as I am careful to only highlight the icon when applying the URL, I cannot limit the hyperlink to only apply to this last icon, it is as if it applies to that icon and everything down the signature. I have tried reserving a few lines of spaces between that icon and the text before applying the hyperlink, etc. It has not worked.  Extremely frustrating - this one has cost me 8 hours at least.
    3) Icon Images Not Displaying (Not Locally Stored or Imbedded?)
I created the signature on my MAC, and when I send an email the icons display on the recipient devices (but as stated in #1, only an ipad/iphone can tap and actually activate the hyperlinks). I wanted to have the same signature on my IPAD and IPHONE. So I copy and pasted the signature from an email (sent from my MAC) into the signature section of my IPAD and IPHONE. Sending a message from either device then does not display the graphics/images. This is very frustrating. I have read that images must be on the local device (or something like that) in order to display. Can someone please help me replicate the signature I have on my MAC for my phone and iPad? Do I have to hire someone to do an HTML version?
I sincerely hope APPLE improves signatures. This experience is honestly making me regret converting over to APPLE as I bet Outlook & Windows devices would not have these issues.
Thank you anyone who can help.
    Best regards.

  • Why can't I add links to sociocons in Mail signatures?

I'd like to find out how I can add sociocons (small icons that link to social media web pages) to my Mail signature.
I can do it easily in MS Outlook for Mac, but I cannot get the images (icons) to accept links in Mac Mail signatures.
There's no option to "Add Link..." when I add an image into my signature in Mail, but I know that people have done it.
The sociocons are graphic images (PNG, JPG, GIF, or etc.)
They are icons that link to social media, hence "sociocons" I know you can add a link to text, but why not images/icons?
It's standard practice today in business, and I feel that Apple Mail is holding us back.
