OS X and XP OS on seperate discs?

Would it be possible to have Windoze and OS X on seperate discs, instead of using a partition / Bootcamp? - and if so could I access it at start up with the 'Options' key as per bootcamp?

Another way to do it is to either partition your second drive and format the partition as NTFS with Disk Utility, or format the entire drive the same way. Then install Windows on that drive or partition, again making sure to format as NTFS. Once Windows is installed, simply insert the Leopard disk and install the Boot Camp drivers. To restart onto the Windows partition simply hold down the "option" key at restart or start-up.
One little caveat when partitioning the drive, make sure that the Windows partition is the LAST partition on the drive.

You have to have an iOS device (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) or Mac to create an iCloud account. However, if you tell your friend to create a shared photo stream and turn on Public Website, he/she will then be able to send you a link that will allow you to view the photos on the internet using your web browser. You would not be able to comment on the photos as this requires an iCloud account, but you would be able to view them.

Try cleaning the lens and see if that will restore functionality to the DVD drive. Use a DVD lens cleaning disk, if you have a can of compressed air, shoot some into the slot or wrap a fine microfiber cloth (eyeglasses cleaning cloth) around a business card and insert it gently inside the slot.
If no success, make an appointment at an Apple store genius bar and get a free diagnosis from them.

My cd/dvd drive is inop on my 13inch macbook pro and will not show a disc or eject it

cd/dvd drive will not work and will not display any disc in the drive. I have been unsucsessful in trouble this and the blank cd-r currently in the drive won't even eject manually even with a restart.

Basically:
1) Shut down
2) Wait until iMac has completely powered off
3) Hold down mouse button
4) Power on iMac and continue to hold down mouse button
5) Listen for sound of drive cycling itself (makes the sound of ejecting a disk)
6) Let mouse button go
7) Log in as normal

It is best to get a disk. Ring an Apple store and they may be able to provide a replacement for your original disk.
The other benefit of owning a disk is it can be used to repair your hard drive.
Without a disk it is like driving a car without a spare. Most of the time you don't need it except for the time when you do, and then you are stranded.

When viewing videos on You Tube video stops and starts, when frozenI get a spinning disc. When playing Mafa Wars things will be going well then things get real slow when switching to a new screen of play, it starts taking longer and longer, then the spinning disc comes. I can't say for sure. Here's what I recommend. Try toggling the state of that preference and see if it helps.
If it helps, great!
If it doesn't help, I'm not sure what else to say...
But what I do know is that since toggling that preference doesn't show the Default status again, that means it's not a default firefox preference. Either yourself or an add-on created it. That means if you're ever going to reset Firefox and lose all your extensions and custom preferences, you might as well do this to remove that preference first to see if it will help.
# Right-click on that preference
# Select "Reset"
# Restart Firefox and that preference should disappear

I need to install WAS and EP on two seperate machine

I have installed WAS6.40 on one machine. I want to install EP on a different machine. But when i tried installing EP i got an error message "no j2ee engine found". Cant we install EP and WAS on two seperate machines?

A good start would be to describe your project (one big movie? lots of smaller movies?), your hardware (internal DL burner? external? what brand?), and any problems you might be having.
Depending on those things, building/burning a DL project could be as easy as doing a single-layer one.

I guess if stolen or lost it would protect my "stuff", and if I'm travelling would protect my privacy.
You must understand the purpose and implications of encryption before deciding whether to use it.
Encryption locks your data with a password. If you forget that password, the data is lost beyond any chance of recovery. Neither Apple nor anyone else will be able to help you recover that data if you don't know the password.
By the same token, the password must be strong enough to provide the security you want. For example, if you're the potential target of industrial espionage by a government or large corporation, you need the strongest possible password. To create and manage such a password safely is a task in itself, not to be undertaken lightly.
If you're only concerned about casual snooping by someone with no special skill, a weak, easily-remembered password is appropriate.
But regardless of the strength of the password, if you lose it, the data is gone forever.
Another point to remember is that if you encrypt your data on one storage device, you must also encrypt it on all other storage devices that would be accessible to the same attacker. Otherwise the data isn't protected. For example, if you keep your computer and your backup drive in the same room, and the internal drive of the computer is not encrypted, then there's no point in encrypting the backup drive.

If not, you can install W7 following the guidance below if you can read the 25 character W7 product key on the Microsoft COA sticker on your PC.
If you can read the 25 character Microsoft windows 7 product key, you can download plain Windows 7 ISO files to burn to a DVD for the version of windows that came installed on your PC, and that is listed on the Microsoft COA sticker on your PC's case.
Burn the ISO using the Burn as ISO option on your DVD burning program and burn at the slowest possible speed your program will allow. This will create a bootable DVD.
Use the 25 character product key on the PC to activate the installation.
The key will activate either a 32 or 64 bit installation.
Then go to the PC's support and driver page to install the drivers you need.
