OS X Maverick - cannot get out of the screen. Can you help?

Re S Maverick - can you help! I cannot download and it keeps asking to restart and goes back into the OS X Maverick window so I cannot get into Applications or any other screen to try and delete anything in there to start again. I have pressed 'exit OS X Maverick' but it just restarts in the same window ie I cannot get into System Preferences or anything. It says the disc is damaged but does not give me the option to restore either (I cannot believe itis damaged either cos it wasn't before I started to try and download this piece of software!!)

Working now? If not, ask yourself what may have changed just preceding the misbehavior? Add and App? Update one? Update iOS? Anything.

You may be in Full Screen Mode. The F11 key toggles Full Screen Mode on or off.

First of all, have you shut down your computer and tried to reset the PRAM.? Then try booting from your install disc and run
Disk Utility
   1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc that came with your computer, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
   2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
      Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.
   3. Click the First Aid tab.
   4. Click the disclosure triangle to the left of the hard drive icon to display the names of your hard disk volumes and partitions.
   5. Select your Mac OS X volume.
   6. Click Repair. Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk.

After transferring all info from the 3G to 4 I cannot update my applications--It has my old email listed and not my new email and it will not let me update--How do I do this- I cannot get any new downloads. Can you help me?

Try holding the power and home buttons for ten to fifteen seconds until the apple appears. If still bad, try a restore from within the computer&itunes.

I believe there is no "Export to Tape" feature as appeared in legacy FCP.

Set it to the country of the Store you want to order from.
The country in this setting needs to be the same as the country of your billing address and shipping address. And the AppleiD and Credit card have to be valid in that country.

fingers crossed, it appears they are working the bugs out of this update....i was able to post a pic to my newsfeeds/time line this morning....first the picture went into the ios album but within a minute, it appeared on my timeline! im glad ...

I can offer suggestions, but I can not fix it.
Press enter three or four times before you start typing and then move the cursor back to the start. What happens is your point of insertion gets outside your predefined font range, it is a know bug and that will help you "stay in the lines" Another option is type Rick, go back to the start and then type your message. Anything which keeps the insertion point from the very end of the email really.
