OS X switch to azerty when I write in Japanese/Chinese...
I write japanese chinese and english on a daily basis and got used to it.
Problem is that recently my mac started using the AZERTY input when I am typing chinese (I had reinstalled Mac OS), scrambling all my habits.
Where do I set the input to QWERTY?
I don't see any options in "International".
Went to a fellow expat to try on his macbook pro he bought recently (unibody, Snow Leopard inside), it doesn't seems to make this smart switching thing... we tried switching from US to japanese then to french then to chinese then french then chinese again and it doesn't use the azerty layout.
If it had worked, I would have gladly shelled out the 30 bucks for the upgrade as it could have solved the problem for me if it switched for that godforsaken azerty back to qwerty...
I tried with different chinese input like wutabc or more exotic ones like jianyi and it still confuse A with Q and so on...
This smart switching is on by default or am I just out of luck?

Satellite Pro M30: automatically switch off touchpad when i plug a mouse

Is it possible to configure the M30 so that it automatically switches off the touchpad, when I plug in a usb mouse?
Thank you... because of the annoying Cursor-jumping when you write a text and accidently touch the pad. But thanks for your answers. I'll stay with "Fn & F9".

Sounds like it may be a hardware issue.

Open Mail preferences and select Accounts then MailBox Behavior. You probably need to unclick the safe draft to server.

My iphone dosen't doesn't make key tone sounds anymore when I write a text message or when I want to dial a phone number I don't know how to fix this problem, I don't hear the clicking noise anymore does anyone know how to fix this problem?And all the sounds on my phone are on, even the keyboard clicks.
Try restarting your iPhone by holding down the on/off and the home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, double check the volume button just in case. If you still can't hear the tones go into your settings>sounds and make sure the options are on.

Hi, the problem of deleting files / videos seeds desktop to go into Terminal and then sudo rm-rf ~ /. Trash Pohangina the answers I've had e of someone in her forum but when I write procedures line in Terminal as the Krever my password and it can not write anything there, I write but nothing comes and my problem is not löst.När I want to delete the movie / video image Frin desktop still arrive Finder wants to make changes.Type your password to allow this. If you want to preserve the data on the boot drive, you must try to back up now, before you do anything else.
There are several ways to back up a Mac that isn't fully working. You need an external hard drive to hold the backup data.
1. Boot from the Recovery partition or from a local Time Machine backup volume (option key at startup.) Launch Disk Utility and follow the instructions in this support article, under “Instructions for backing up to an external hard disk via Disk Utility.”
2. If you have access to a working Mac, and both it and the non-working Mac have FireWire or Thunderbolt ports, boot the non-working Mac in target disk mode. Use the working Mac to copy the data to another drive. This technique won't work with USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth.
3. If the internal drive of the non-working Mac is user-replaceable, remove it and mount it in an external enclosure or drive dock. Use another Mac to copy the data. -
I recently did a backup and restore on my Iphone4 because iI was going to switch carriers. When I switched carriers I went back to I tunes to restore my backup and nothing was there .Some how I lost all of my data, is there a way I can retrive my data or not? I had all of my pics and contacts on the backup. please help..

I cannot seem to format a message correctly when I write in hebrew from right to left
even if I press left margin and the message starts from the left side, all question marks, and end of sentences (periods, etc) jump to the front of the sentence and quotation marks or separation marks (such as dashes) split up the lines and jump words to the front of the sentence.

Software keyboard has somehow switched to AZERTY and I can't switch it back to QUERTY even though this is the setting I've selected. Any ideas? Thanks, everyone!

2) Tap “General.” This is found on the left hand panel of the Settings Screen.
3) Tap “Keyboard.” This is located on right hand panel of the Settings Screen towards the bottom half.
