OS3 with Jabra BT 3030

Hi,
I just update OS3 and think that it can solve my problem with Jabra BT3030 stereo bluetooth headset but it's not at all. I can listen to music with stereo output but I can't use any button on BT3030 except volume adjustment.
Anyone face the same problem or any ideas?

this is true with most bluetooth headsets, where the forward/bacward skip buttons do not work. I also have the JabraBT3030 and it does not work, it does work however if I use the Sony dongle (TMR-BT8IP) so it is not the Jabra. Although the Play/Pause button should work, it works for me at least.
Every one here hopes Apple will fix this issue soon. Enjoy wireless music and volume for now

No, they will not interfere.
I pair my phone with my car, multiple bluetooth headsets, bluetooth speakers, a Wahoo Blue SC speed and cadence sensor, and a Scochse bluetooth heart rate monitor regularly without any issues.
Granted I never have more then two at a time paired.
Having a fuelband will have not affect on the other devices as it uses a seperate profile.

G3 bluetooth malfunction with Jabra speakerphone, etc.

I drove down to Apple store chatting away happily on my Jabra SP5050 Bt (bluetooth) Speakerphone with my first-generation iPhone, but driving home with a new iPhone G3, the device was unable to discover the phone and vice-versa.
I tried to see if my MacBook Pro and new iPhone could discover each other to no avail.
Is the bluetooth in the iPhone be malfunctioning, or is there some deeper problem?

N95 8Gb - no longer able to pair with Jabra BT8040

Last week I was prompted to upgrade the software on my N95 8Gb after being prompted. So I backup the phone (everthing ticked) and then upgraded to software v30.0.018, 23-07-08, RM-320, Nokia N95 (94.01). The upgrade when ahead without any issues, and I restored all the settings from the backup. All was working fine as it was before contacts, data, ringtones etc, except when I when to use the Jabra BT8040 headset (which was previously working). The headset wasn't in the paired listing, so I try starting from scratch. The headset when it is turned on always goes into pairing mode, so I tried searching for it but the phone doesn see it. I have tried switching headset on first and last, tried switching to phone off completly, but it still does work!!
Just to make sure the bluetooth is still working I tried linking the phone to my laptop which worked first time.......
Can anyone help please?

Hi, I don't think the headset problem is with the phone specifically, I had a jabra headset, and from memory you need to hold one of the buttons for a few seconds till the light flashes/changes colour, then search for it with phone and pair it using either '1111' or'0000' , Check manual for headset or download from jabra website. As for sms/txt call your sevice provider and explain the problem, they can send you the settings by sms/txt and you can install from that and it should be ok. Hope this helps.

Bluetooth help pairing with Jabra BT2040

On my 8300 the bluetooth is enabled but when I ask it to pair with a new device ( Jabra BT2040 headset) it doesn't find it.
Is it because on the bluetooth options "discoverable" is set to "no" and there is a red lock symbol next to it meaning I can't change it to "yes".
Any ideas

1) I do not know if the Blackberry device has to be "discoverable" in order to work with your Jabra.
2) you can ask your IT admin why they blocked the "Bluetooth discoverability". They did that in the IT policy. Maybe it's just an error from them.

Skype 7 Not working with Jabra 510

I have a Macbook 13" Retina running OSX 10.10 Yosemite with a Jabra 510 speaker phone attached. Prior to v7, all worked great. After upgrading, the buttons on the Jabra no longer work although the Jabra Suite gets loaded when I start Skype. I tried reloading the Jabra software, but no luck.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi, this is definitelly not a Mac OS X issue as we have the same problem with Mac OS X 10.9, but also with a different Jabra 9460. So its a Skype 7 issue.
Could someone take a look to this please, I;m trying to find old download link to version 6 to roll back the upgrade.

Pairing iPhone 4 with Jabra BT3030

Does anyone else use a Jabra BT3030 that has been paired successfully to the iPhone 4? I was always able to do it with my previous Verizon phone (Samsung Omnia) but when I try to pair it to the new iPhone 4, I can't get to the screen where the passkey (0000) is entered. The phone recognizes the device and says it is not paired, but then it goes straight to connected status without letting me open the passkey screen. Once it's connected, the only option is "Forget this Device", (which I would rather not since I like it). Even though it shows connected, the phone and Jabra don't communicate. I've followed the steps shown on the Jabra website and the iPhone manual, but to no avail.

Thank you for providing the bluetooth accessory that you are trying to pair to your device. Below are the instructions on how to pair specifically to your iPhone. The security code can either be 0000 or 1234.
Step 1 - Enable Bluetooth functionality on the iPhone 4
From the Home screen, select Settings.
Select General
Select Bluetooth
Set Bluetooth to On
Step 2 - Put your fully charged Bluetooth headset into pairing mode.
Press and hold the answer/end button to turn on the headset
Your headset will automatically go into pairing mode when you turn on for the first time
Your Bluetooth accessory is now in pairing mode and ready to be paired with your handset
Manual Paring
Press and hold the answer/end button for 5 seconds until the keypad turns solid blue
Your Bluetooth accessory is now in pairing mode and ready to be paired with your handset
Step 3 - Pair the iPhone 4 with a Bluetooth Accessory
With Bluetooth power on, from the Home screen, select Settings.
Select General
Select Bluetooth
Place accessory in pairing mode. See accessory pairing instructions

Cisco 7926 with Jabra Pro headset

Hi all!
We have a Cisco 7926 desk phone connected to a Jabra Pro wireless headset. It's connected with a headset cable from the phone to the base station and set up correctly according to the instructions from Jabra.
My problem is that when we use the headset it ends a call when transferring. Using the original tube it works fine and this only happens when using the headset.
The thing is that we just upgraded our CUCM software to system version 10.5.1.10000-7 and after that it stopped working.
What i have tried is checked if the phone are headset activated, and it is. I have reconfigured the Jabra Pro headset.
Any suggestions are accepted with great thanks :)

E61i Connectivity Problems with Jabra BT125 Blueto...

I just got a New E61i mobile. I have already upgraded the same to the latest firmware - 2.0633.65.01.
I had a Jabra BT-125 bluetooth headset which worked fine with my previous mobile (6230i / 6131) flawlessly.
I find that with the E61i, I can pair my headset, without issues, but then there is just a beep on my bluetooth headset. Neither can I hear an incoming call (only beeps) nor the caller. Same when I try to call. I hear nothing.
With some re-boots, I manage to pair and get ringtones etc. But then I am not able to use the headset button for anything - receive call, make call etc...
I see some posts about some problem. But no solution.
Please Help........

I had the same issue, but I found way. First be sure to dissable the mac filter, and to select the 802.11 g only in wireless settings of the router. I've let my network vissible. By magic, after selecting 802.11 g only, it connected perfectly.

I just keep getting the searcing message so I was wondering if maybe they don't work together.

I have tried iPhone 3G with several Jabra headsets and it seems it works fine, except from the issues I'm having as [described in this thread|http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1804116&tstart=15]. Mind you, that I am facing these issues with numerous headsets from different vendors, and I also have tried 3 iPhones. Bluetooth connection problems with Jabra

Eversince I bought the Jabra Revo wireless headphones I had problems connecting them to my Macbook 15 Retina. When I get it connected it doesn't play the sound. When I disconnect it I get this message

The same happens with my Jabra solemate speaker. Most of the times it doesn't work but sometimes it connects and plays perfectly
I updated the Jabra firmware on both devices. They work flawlwssly with my Iphone 5s and with the Ipad Air.
Is there any way to update/repair the bluetooth drivers on my mac? I'm on OSX Mountain Lion.

There are no "bluetooth drivers."
Try resetting the PRAM and SMC - might help, cannot hurt.
I would also contact the third-party device manufacturer (since the problem seems to be related to their devices).

Problem with Iphone4s connection with Jabra HFS001

I have them paired and it was working great. Now the jabba will connect but when a call comes in (no announcement) I answer the call and talk on the iphone and when the call is done the Jabba says call ended. Jabba sent me a new one and the same thing is happening so it must be something I pushed on the Iphone anybody know what I might do? thanks

Hi, welcome to apple, "the old radio mast" as you said is saying you are connected to a wifi network.
the reason why the 3g goes away is this other symbol is displayed is cos your phone is telling you about the best connection it has and as wifi and home Internet is faster mostly then 3g it shows this as your phone just goes to the wifi network for any data it needs and not to the cells (your network provider)
to see if your phone is on a network or connect to one go to Settings> WI-Fi and click on the wifi network is yours and if you are then asked to put in a password then you are not connected to the wifi network if you get lots of info like ip etc then click on forget this wifi network after this repeat Settings> WI-Fi and click again on your network then you should be asked to put your password in, do so and then your phone will connect to your network.
