the WLC 4404 not work is stopeddAlmost looks like it could be defect ID CSCtx02515. SHows that it's fixed in 7.2.110.0, but if you have a 4404, you can't run 7.2 code.
Symptom:
High CPU on webJavaTask
Alternatively: large number of TCP connections, leading to file descriptor problems like:
osapi_file.c:370 Failed to open the file : /proc/1054/stat.(erno 24)

what's the wlc uptime.
are you sure WLC didn't crash/reboot, what's wlc uptime.
Looks like your controller is going to crash or it is part of crash log. no panic, i could be wrong here, time to open a TAC case.

Error while trying to customize Web Authentication
Hi,
i have tried to customize the web auth portal on a WLC running v5.2.110.0.
i have compressed the login files (images and html code) into .tar file with picozip and tried to download it to the controller.
i'm getting the following error:
*Feb 04 17:47:07.236: %UPDATE-3-FILE_OPEN_FAIL: updcode.c:2408 Failed to open file login.html.
*Feb 04 17:47:07.236: %OSAPI-3-FILE_OPEN_FAILED: osapi_file.c:469 Failed to open the file : /mnt/application/webauth_ramdisk/login.html.
-Traceback: 104b7590 10012724 1001015c 100148c8 104be944 10e42470 11033dec
Did anyone managed to customize the web auth portal?Check if the path mentioned using the path statement is correct. If your image is in the root directory of the tftp server your path statement on the controller would be /. If the image is in the wireless directory of your tftp server then the path would be /wireless.

I have a WiSM installed in WS-6504E, vesion 6.0.182. It can't function normally after upgrading to version7.0.220.
When it was unstable, I found three strange condition
1. A lot of log looks like this
*osapiReaper: Mar 10 14:53:39.282: %OSAPI-3-FILE_OPEN_FAILED: osapi_file.c:370 Failed to open the file : /proc/1059/stat.(erno 24)

2. Internal Temperature was showed "sensor failed"
3. CPU User load is Zero
Anybody can tell me what wrong with the wireless controller ?Could be a hardware failure.

Since updating to Mountain Lion, has anyone else had an issue logging into their OSAP? (for those that don't know, OSAP is a government financial loan program to help people through post secondary education in Ontario, and all managed through a secure online login system)
I've tried multiple browsers, everything is up to date, but I think Apple has changed something in either network or security functions, maybe encryption passing, and when I try to log in its like the connection stalls, and eventually I'll receive a server timeout message from the browser. I tried logging in on my parents computer, a macbook running snow leopard, and logging in was a breeze with no pause between loading. Any help or ideas?Try deleting the com.apple.Safari.plist
Quit the application.
You need to look in your user Library/Preferences for the .plist.Either hold down the option key while using the Finder “Go To Folder” command and select your user Library in your home folder or use the Finder “Go To Folder” command and enter ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist. Move the .plist to your desktop.
Open the application and test. If it works okay, delete the plist from the desktop.
If the application is the same, return the .plist to where you got them from, overwriting the newer ones.
If you prefer to make your User library permanently visible, use the Terminal command found below.
Show User Library
You might want to bookmark the command. I have to use it again after every update. I have also been informed that if you drag the user library to Finder it will remain visible. -
WLC 5508 running 7.4.110.0 unable to tftp upload config from controller
Hi,
Two WLC 5508 running identical code version. One is 50 license Primary, the second is HA. Identical config on both. HA WLC can upload its config to the TFTP or FTP server but Primary cannot. The operation fails for both CLI and GUI and for different protocols i.e. TFTP, FTP.

Not upgrading to 7.4.121.0 because of bug CSCuo63103. Have not restarted the controller yet.
Any one else had this issue ? Is there a workaround ?
Thanks,
Rick.Thanks Stephen, In my deployments of 7.4.110.0 version I have not seen this issue so may be controller reboot will fix it (we do have HA to minimize the impact). I will keep the thread updated with findings and may request TAC for the special release 7.4.121.0 if the still not happy with 7.4.110.0

WLC 5508 - Error When Uploading Webauth Bundle
Currently have a WLC 5508 running 7.4.110.0. I'm trying to upload (download) a webauth bundle to the controller from the web interface and am getting an error. I've tried using FTP, SFTP and TFTP and get a different error with each. When I started out with this, I was using a modified login.tar. Thinking this was the problem, I switched to using the login.tar file included with the Web Authentication Bundle version 1.0.2 downloaded from the Cisco site. This file fails with the errors below. Does anyone have suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong? Is this is a known bug in this version of the software? Thanks!
For FTP:
The web interface shows:
% Error: Webauth Bundle file transfer failed - Unknown error - refer to log.
Log on the controller shows:
*TransferTask: May 28 13:51:12.942: #UPDATE-3-FTP_TRANSFER_FAIL: updcode.c:5631
Error FTP file Transfer [ftp_get], <30>, Read-only file system.
For SFTP:
The web interface shows:
% Error: Webauth Bundle file transfer failed - Unknown error - refer to log.
Log on the controller shows:
*TransferTask: May 28 14:52:58.779: #UPDATE-3-SFTP_TRANSFER_FAIL: updcode.c:5869
Error SFTP file Transfer [sftp_get], <11>, Resource temporarily unavailable.
For TFTP:
The web interface shows:

Log on the controller shows:

647 pc=0x10b079Hi,
1. Did you used PIcozip to compress your webauth bundle?
2. Did you try only with one laptop , if yes then try to use other one.
3. Just try to upload default webauth bundl from cisco to wlc and show the result to us.
7.4.121.0 is very stable version.

How to read dynamic file names in RSEINB00?
Hi, ABAP Gurus,
actually I'm a PI Consultant. Now I have a scenario to use the report RSEINB00.
In the Applicaton Server i put ASCII IDocs with the following name convension: <static name>+<time stemple>:
SAPIDOC20111127-224128-952.txt
SAPIDOC20111127-224129-115.txt
I created a new port in WE21 and the Outbound file and Inbound fiel tabs haben the same configration:
physical directory: /ABC/DEV100/inbound/
Function module: EDI_PATH_CREATE_DATE_TIME
Inbound file: SAPIDOC.txt
To execute the report RSEINB00 I must give the complete file name and port. It is not convenient.
My target is, with a job to run RSEINB00 once daily to read all files with name "SAPIDOC + <time stemple>" full automatically.
Is it possible? how to figure it out?
thanks a lot in advance! <removed by moderator>.
Regards
Rene

Thanks for your help....
SiddharthaThanks Scott,
We have two controllers and all the APs (50) are associated with the primary Controller,what is the best path to follow for the upgrade.
we don't have Field recoversy image installed on our controller, do we have to do the FSU upgrade?

There's no cellClick event in Table, because of which you are getting the error.

Updated WLCs shows wierd log messages and most APs do not associate
Hi, I recently updated my 4402 WLC to latest Software Version (7.0.98.0).
This first seamed to have worked fine. WLCs rebooted fine, then APs rebooted and upgraded their software images.
All fine as it seamed.
The I went on to also upgrade to latest Emergency Image Version(5.2.157.0).
After rebooting the WLCs most APs won't associate again.
Logs from WLCs shows a lot of messages like:

When looking back a bit in the logs it looks like this started after upgrading the Software version. But after this first reload it the APs came back and worked. Now they don't.
The case seams to be the same with both my WLCs.
What could have gone wrong?
Please advice.Not sure which messages are concerning you the most...

There is already a bug for it: CSCth64522
And for:

Looks like it's matching CSCtf39550
Both bug fixes should be included in the next 7.0 release and should not impact the WLC behavior.
Hope this helps... -
Does SAP.Functions support unicode?
Hi,
I have an ASP page using Server.CreateObject("SAP.Functions") to connect to SAP ecc 6.0. Does anyone know whether the wdtfuncs.ocx supports unicode? The result i got back from SAP shows English contents correctly but not Cyrillic character. Source code is something like this
Set oSAP = Server.CreateObject("SAP.Functions")
Set oConn = oSAP.Connection
oConn.User = sUID
oConn.Password = sPWD
oConn.Language = "EN"
oConn.Destination = sServer
oConn.Client = iClient
oConn.GroupName = sServer
oConn.MessageServer = sMessageServer
oConn.codepage = "4110"
oConn.Logon 0, True
Set oRFC = oSAP.Add(SAPFunctionModueName)
Set oParam = oRFC.Exports(ParameterName)
oParam.Value = ParameterValue
Set oOut = oRFC.Tables(SAPoutputTableName)
oRFC.Call
The SAP .net connector works well, but in this case i have to use the .ocx file trying to avoid rewriting existing application with .net.Sorry, the SAP version is 710

Plug-in encryption and watermarking support
On page 23 of the After_Effects_SDK_Guide.pdf it says...
"As of CS4, there is no encryption and watermarking support to protect code and provide trial versions of filters. "
I didn't know there was such support. Where is it explained?
Thanks,
MIkei'm not a native english speaker, but i think that the wording "as of" can be used in a few ways:
"as of sunday, ice cubes will no longer be available" meaning that after saturday there will be no more ice.
another way would be:
"as of sunday, no ice cubes were available" meaning that last time we checked (sunday), ice was still unavailable.
an my favorite, the ambiguous way:
"as of sunday, there are no ice cubes" meaning... either way.
back to our case
pixel bender effects are text documents with humanly readble code.
anyone who has such an effect can open it's file in "note pad" and see the code exactly as you have written it.
as of the release of CS4 adobe hasn't supplied a solution to that problem for developers.
i don't develop pixel bender, so i'm not familiar with the latest news on that issue.
i do know that they (adobe) consider solving this a high priority.
"normal" plug-ins on the other hand are complied to machine code.
that means that no one can access the original code. (not in any effective way at least).
the difference on the watermarking issue is the same.
pixel bender effects are actually can only access their own parameters and pixel data handed to them (and very few other things).
the pixel bender API currently doesn't provide the developer the means to tell whether or not watermarking is needed.
normal plug-ins are actually DLLs, so besides having a much more expanded AE API, they can also do whatever the osAPI has to offer. (read and create files, read the system clock... ect...)
actually, anything you can do with c++, you can be implemented with a normal plug-in.
using these next-to-limitless tools, the developer can easilydecide whether or not to display the watermark,
and they do not rely on the AE API alone
summing up.
pixel bender is an AWSOME way to develop. the only drawback is that currently, commercial developers don't have any means to prevent their effects from being used unlicened, or having their original code simply taken from the effect file.
take that into consideration when deciding using which API to develop. -
Watchdog reset in WLC 5508 7.4.100.60
Hi ,
Last week we found that primary WLC was hanged so we need to reboot it.
As per logs:
Last Reset....................................... Watchdog reset
We are using 7.4.100.60.
Any idea what could be the root cause.
Regards,Check your WLC serial number as well, if it starts FCW1614 or later then it may be due to this bug as well.
CSCul68057
Symptom:
Wireless LAN Controller may encounter unexpected reload without crash file or coredump.
Console log output may include "reaperWatcher rebooting" and "!!!!! Watchdog detected LOCKUP !!!!!",
and there may be "#OSAPI-2-REAPER_WATCHER_INFO" message in syslog.
Conditions:
5508, 2504 or WiSM2 manufactured after April 2012.
Affected S/N: FCW1614xxxx and later
This is due to incompatibility of previous driver with some of the flash components used after that date
Workaround:
None, upgrade to one of the recommended software versions
Anyway your choices are very limited now, only 3 WLC software codes supported by Cisco 7.0.250.0(7.0MR5), 7.4.121.0 (7.4MR2) and 7.6.101.x(7.6MR1). So upgrade to 7.4.121.0 code as that is the highly recommended code at the moment. See below for more details
https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-40178
I would suggest to go for FUS 1.9.0.0 as well.
