OSB Routing (static) changes

Hi ,
Some time back i had upgraded from osb patch set 3 ro osb patchset 6.
In patchset 3 we saw some limitation of routing node which does static routes, because of which we needed to have all the dependent module in the sbconfig jar. or else it wouldn't create one.
However now in patchset 6 , there is no such issue anymore, using static routes too there is no need to check in for the dependent module; which ofcourse is checked at time of deploy.
I was looking for the oracle documentation or enhancement for this change/bug; however was not able to find; can anybody help me in finding the oracle link to this change.
Many Thanks

HI Matt,
As per WS-I BP, the service provider should send the HTTP response code as 200 when the error is being sent back as normal response and 500 should be sent when the error being sent back in form of the SOAP fault.
When HTTP response code 200 is received, OSB treats it as a normal response and $body will have the received response. And when response code 500 is received, the OSB runtime control goes to the ‘Service Error Handler’ if present or to ‘System Error Handler’.
And OSB populates different message context variables in case of fault response with 500 code depending on whether Routing or Service Callout are used to call the business service. When routing is used, the variable $body will have the fault response. When service callout is used, the variable $fault will have the fault response in ‘ReceivedFaultDetail’ structure.

  • We installed a new router and changed the name of the router. Now my HP C4500 printer won't print.

Our cable company installed a new wireless router and changed the name of the router.  Now my HP C4500 printer won't print from my laptop.
I can't find any ot the Set Up stuff I used initially.
Is there any way to get my printer to work again...wirelessly?

Get the latest software for your printer from the "Support & Drivers" link at the top of this page.  When you start the installation it will ask what kind of installation you would like.  Choose "Wireless" or "Network" then click "Next".
Eventually it will ask you to plug in a USB cable to the printer temporarily to communicate the new router's info to the printer.  Make sure to not plug in the USB until it asks.

  • RV220W - in routing mode changes external Ip with router IP

    Good day.
I just installed one RV220W in my network, in routing mode (not NAT) using on WAN port public Ip 193.111.184.xxx and on LAN side on IP from my company public C class (212.100.143.0). It's working, but main ang huge problem is than Router is changing any IP coming from intenet with it's own 212.100.143.xxx IP, which mess up everything (logs, counters, etc).
It was using 1.0.1.0 firmware, I switched to 1.0.0.26 but nothing changed.
Also I have a VPN - gate to gate with another location (RV042), and all computers from other side of tunnel reports same router IP 212.100.143.xxx when accesing servers from my side, which also is bad.
Previously I user an RV082 for this joB and everything was great, except 100 Mb WAN/LAN ports of RV082, which I will use until get Rv220W working right.
    Any idea is apreciated.
    Thank you,
    Catalin Burla

I have changed this weekend from a DSL using a Linksys by Cisco WAG54G2 to a Cisco RV220W Small Business Router and just found out the same problem. This is serious for me, for one, it completely destroys SPAM blocking with DNS blacklists.
This is how it looked when using the linksys:
    Apr  9 03:18:17 vanroodewierda postfix/smtpd[49507]: connect from 189-041-10-204.xd-dynamic.ctbcnetsuper.com.br[189.41.10.204]
    Apr  9 03:18:18 vanroodewierda postfix/smtpd[49507]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from 189-041-10-204.xd-dynamic.ctbcnetsuper.com.br[189.41.10.204]: 554 5.7.1 Service unavailable; Client host [189.41.10.204] blocked using zen.spamhaus.org; http://www.spamhaus.org/query/bl?ip=189.41.10.204; from=<[email protected]> to=<[email protected]> proto=ESMTP helo=<189-041-10-204.xd-dynamic.ctbcnetsuper.com.br>
This is how it looks when using the RV220W:
    Apr 10 18:34:29 vanroodewierda postfix/smtpd[31608]: connect from ciscorouter.rna.nl[192.168.2.254]
And thus DNSBL is not possible. My RV220W uses One-to-One NAT to route one of the 5 outside WAN IP addresses I to the mail server on the LAN. Because I do not get the external IP address passed on to the inside, postfix has nothing to go on. I tried instead to use the  normal port forwarding in the IPv4 rules on my main WAN IP address, but that doesn't help.
How and where can I report this and how long will it take Cisco to fix something like this? Because this is very important for me (and my users) and I'll have to return the router and buy another brand if it takes too long.

my Ipad and itouch cannot be connected ti wireless router tried changing setting still cannot connect

    Some things to try first:
    1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
    2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
    3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
    4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
    5.  Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
        •    Launch Settings app
        •    Tap on Wi-Fi
        •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
        •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

  • How to plot route or change route on HERE Maps on ...

My Nokia Lumia came with HERE Maps. I have the latest update.
So I decided I'd get directions to some place and HERE maps gave me those directions. Not bad.
Upon closer inspection, I realize the route given is not quite the one I wish to navigate so try changing it a little but.....there's no way to change the route?
Am I too stupid to figure this out (I hope this is indeed the case) or do I have to switch back to Google maps?
    Thanks for your time.

There is no option to change the route manually at the moment. However, you can influence the route by changing the Route Optimisation settings. To do this, after specifying your destination and just before you tap the Start button,  you will see a row of icons above the Start button. Tap this to change the settings.
Here Drive+ is still beta so things will still change before the final release. In the mean time, you can always use Google if it suits you better.

Chances are you mis-typed a character in the Wifi password and the devices saved that information.  Now whenever you try to connect the device refers to the wrong password and the Jetpack does not accept your connection.  Tell your devices to forget the wireless connection and start over.
Once you enter the proper WiFi credentials the Jetpack will allow you to connect.

    Hi Kanwal,
Thank you for your answer. I thought that maybe "clear rtcache" would do the trick...
I checked and this entry was indeed replicated to the FT peer. If we reload the failover module first and wait until it's back in "standby hot" state before rebooting the active module, will the table entry be replicated from the active to the standby again? If it's the case we would have to reload both modules at the same time, causing an interruption   ;-(

  • Printer lost access to internet when router was changed

My HP Photosmart Plus is wirelessly connected to my macbook air and has worked fine for years.  Our company has a wired connection going into a linksys/cisco router and it gives wireless access through an SSID to my mac and printer.
A few months ago the router was changed and they did something to the wired and wireless networks.  Im guessing theyre on separate subnets or something because another issue is that I can no longer view the others on the network who are wired, even though I could before.
Anyway, ever since then I noticed that some smartphones and tablets had no internet connectivity.  They were connected to the wireless network which gave my mac perfect internet connectivity, their signal was just as strong, but they had no internet connectivity.  So I figured out that the DNS' werent being read right by those smartphones and tablets, I manually added the DNS' my mac was using and now those phones and tablets work fine.
I would suppose thats the same issue with my printer now because the only thing that doesnt work is eprint and web services.  I get a message saying the printer could not reach the server, try again.  Ive rebooted the printer and it doesnt change anything.  I can see it has an IP properly assigned and i can print wirelessly to it, but it has no internet access.
How can I "add" those DNS IPs to the printer?
    This question was solved.

    Hello quique123,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums.  I understand that you are getting a connection error message when trying to enable the web services of your Photosmart Plus printer.
I have included a link to another post with the steps, including screen shots, on how to set a manual IP address and manual DNS servers for the printer. As you go through the post you will notice that it is recommended to use Google’s public DNS servers when assigning the manual DNS servers.  Please don’t worry that the screen shots are for a Photosmart 7510, the steps are the same for your Photosmart Plus printer.

  • Router Static or Dynamic IP

How do I check to see my router is setting Dynamic or Static IP? Thanks for your respond.

    Hi Hoa,
If you want to change to a DHCP address, you need to configure the interaface as below.
Your static ip address config is something like this:
    interface vlan 1
    ip address 10.10.10.1 255.255.255.0
Instead of this you need to configure the following:
    interface vlan 1
    ip address dhcp
You need to make sure that the dhcp server is configured accordingly and is accessible from that interface. Otherwise your interface will not get the respective ip address.
If it doesn't work, you can post your network topology and config, so we can help you configure the dhcp server or the dhcp relay agent if that is necessary.
    Cheers:

  • Ip route "static"

i know I can set static routes using ip address for hosts:
    ip route a.b.c.d 255.255.255.255 192.168.1.1
However is it possible for these to be dynamic for webhosts whose IP addresses may change and mess up my internal routing!
    eg.
    ip route app.hostname.com 192.168.1.1
(this is to provide connections to certain systemns that cannot be proxied and directly access the site via the firewall directly through it's own rule)
    I've added
    ip name-server h.i.j.k
for reverse DNS lookups on hostnames so the names resolve OK. It's just trying to get the routing to be upf=dated if the IP address of the hosts just happens to change.
    Thanks

  • Scheduling Agreement LU: Can Route be changed in the SA item?

    Hi all,
I noticed that in the Transport Scheduling Agreement SA type "LU"  but in general I think in any SA there is no any chance to change the route determined by the system in the shipping data within the item of SA.
If you select Menu Item > More Functions > Shipping Data you can go an see the detail.
Is it something I can set in customizing or the field EKPV-ROUTE is unchangeable?
The route has to be changed in order to set the ones used for transfer stock between the two plants.
    Thank you in advance
    Andrea

I have found a reasonable solution to my issue that perhaps it could be helpful for others who have the same problem.
Stock transfer sheduling agreement is between two plants which are assigned to the same company code.
Each plant is assigned to an additional customer code with its own specific ship-to-party. Both customer codes  have to be linked to the same payer in case there is an additional plant who belongs to another company code by which you debit stock transfer.
The two customers which represent the addresses of the two plants have a specific transportation zone. There is then a node in customizing dedicated to the route determination in which you have to set the combination for the departure country/zone and destination country/zone with the proposed route.
By this settings when you create a scheduling agreement between the two plants: "LU" type, the system values the correct route in each item of the SA according to your customizing.
    Kind regards
    Andrea

  • Routing with change numbers.

    Hello friends,
I'm trying to do the following. Can someone please explain what the problem could be
In routing creation, there is a problem.
Step:1 I enter the material number, plant and change number.
Step:2 Entered the usage(1) and status (4) in the header screen
Step:3 In the operations screen, I type in the work centre, controlkey, description and press enter
Now, the problem is activity types related to the work centre are not defaulted into the Activitytype fields..
However, if I don't put the change number in the initial screen and repeat the same process, it defaults all the activity types in those fields..
What  role do you think the change number is playing? What could be the problem? We need to have the change numbers,so we can't avoid them. How do I get those activity types defaulted while having the change number at the same time? Is it I'm missing anything in the config again? Any ideas?
    Many thanks
    Shiv

    Hi,
Check in work center if activity types are defined as parameter in Standard Value Key because activity types are copied from work center standard value key

  • BGP default route advertisement - change preference

    hi guys,
I would appreciate some assistance here. We have a primary head office & a DR site. Routers at both sites connect to our carrier for an IP VPN service using BGP. BGP configs on each router advertise a default route 0.0.0.0.
       #sh ip bgp neighbors x.x.x.x advertised-routes
BGP table version is 358, local router ID is x.x.x.x
          Status codes: s suppressed, d damped, h history, * valid, > best, i - internal,
                  r RIB-failure, S Stale
          Origin codes: i - IGP, e - EGP, ? - incomplete
          Originating default network 0.0.0.0
Issue is, some of our remote sites prefer the DR router path for traffic destined to internet.
We are advertising multiple default routes to our carrier, and based on feedback from carrier, route with lowest MED is preferred.
This brings me to what i need to change from my side. Need to change the route preference so that from our remote offices, only the route to head office is preferred with DR site the least preferred route. I know there are multliple ways of doing this, however keen to get input from the experts out there.
DR site router has this BGP config currently applied:
       router bgp XXXXX
        bgp log-neighbor-changes
        redistribute connected
redistribute ospf 1 match internal external 1 external 2
        neighbor x.x.x.x remote-as XXXX
        neighbor x.x.x.x default-originate
        neighbor x.x.x.x soft-reconfiguration inbound
        neighbor x.x.x.x route-map IMPORT-POLICY in
        neighbor x.x.x.x route-map OPI-route-advertisement out
        default-information originate
Removing the  "neighbor x.x.x.x default-originate" is not an option, as we need to have the ability to failover to DR at any point.
Thanks in advance & if you need any further info pls advise.
    Rama

    Hi Milan,
    Thanks. Answers below:
Does it provide an MPLS backbone to you? YES
Are you using the same AS number on all your sites or different ones? Same AS
Any way, what about advertising the default route from your DR site with the site AS number prepended several times (5 times, e.g.)? That's the thing I am struggling to understand as the route-map OPI-route-advertisement already has it prepended 2 times. Shouldn't that be enough to influence which route is least preferred?
    route-map OPI-route-advertisement permit 20
match ip address prefix-list xxx default-route
