OSB server

Dear team,
We have configured remote OSB server(11.1.14 version) in OEPE workshop(installed in local machine) and we tried to start remote OSB server for first time.. The OSB server status is Started, republish.
Is it like for the first time after server configuration and starting for first time , workshop status should be like started, synchronized.
When we tried to deploy OSB configuration project to remote server, we are getting the below error:
"Conflicts found during publish" error.
We have cleaned the project and restarted the eclipse and created the new configuration project, still we are getting the same problem.
please suggest.
Regards,
radha

Hi Radha,
Is there any project when you open up sbconsole (http://localhost:7001/sbconsole, your URL might be different) having the same name as the one in Eclipse? If so, please delete that and then try publishing it from Eclipse.
If that's also failing, then there might be some resource that is being referenced in your project but not available as of now. Check that please.
Do you get any well defined error while publishing? If so, please post it here so that we can debug it better.

    Hi,
As Ros mentioned earlier you need see whether server logs have stuck thread or also check whether your Heap is trying to reach Max .
also might be your services have any problem.
So you need to check your OSB server logs.

  • OSB 11g - Apache Webserver - WSDL location redirecting to OSB server

    Hi,
In our case we have a OSB server running on a dev machine and a Apache server is installed which receives the requests from the vendor and forwards the requests to the OSB. I have a Proxy Service on the OSB which is WSDL based and this is accessed by the vendor.
The DMZ only allows requests from the vendor to the web server and not to the OSB.
From client's end when they send the WSDL request http://*<webserver_ip>*/endpoint-uri?wsdl to the webserver, the WSDL is sent back to the client. But in that WSDL the service endpoint location points to the OSB server (http://*<osb_ip>*/endpoint-uri?wsdl). Upon receiving this the client tries sends the request to OSB server directly which is blocked by the DMZ. The client should have got the response as http://*<webserver_ip>*/endpoint-uri?wsdl so that it could send the request to the web server and not the OSB server. The calls to the OSB server are not allowed by the DMA. Because of this their call to invoke the data is not successful.
I tried hard coding the URL http://<webserver_ip>/endpoint-uri?wsdl in the WSDL and then use it but still the problem is not resolved. Still in the endpoint address location in the WSDL the IP of the OSB is sent and not the IP of the web server.
What can I do so that the WSDL which is sent to the vendor has the service endpoint location as http://<webserver_ip>/endpoint-uri?wsdl and not http://*<osb_ip>*/endpoint-uri?wsdl.
    Thanks,
    Sanjay

I tried hard coding the URL http://<webserver_ip>/endpoint-uri?wsdl in the WSDL and then use it but still the problem is not resolved. Still in the endpoint address location in the WSDL the IP of the OSB is sent and not the IP of the web server.
The url in the port section of the wsdl resource is never used in the effective wsdl generated by OSB. Instead you can use weblogic Frontend host/port properties for solving this.
The below describes the rule how weblogic computes the hostname part of the URL in the generated wsdl's for its deployed web services:
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12840_01/wls/docs103/webserv/setenv.html#wp220945
    # If the Web Service is deployed to a cluster, and the cluster Frontend Host, Frontend HTTP Port, and Frontend HTTPS Port are set, then WebLogic Server uses these values in the server address of the dynamic WSDL.
    # If the preceding cluster values are not set, but the Frontend Host, Frontend HTTP Port, and Frontend HTTPS Port values are set for the individual server to which the Web Service is deployed, then WebLogic Server uses these values in the server address.
    # If these values are not set for the cluster or individual server, then WebLogic Server uses the server address of the WSDL request in the dynamic WSDL.

  • How to start the osb server

Hi please help me on this

    Hi Vijay,
Before starting the OSB Server i need small clarification,
While OSB Domain Creation what option ur selected i.e. either OSB Developer or Just OSB,
If ur Selected OSB Developer then,
goto Your Installation Directory Like Oracle-->Middleware-->User_Projects-->Applcations(Domains)-->Double Click on Ur Domain Name-->Double Click on StartWebLogic.cmd
If ur Selected only OSB then,u need to follow the below 2 steps
    1) goto Your Installation Directory Like Oracle-->Middleware-->User_Projects-->Applcations(Domains)-->Double Click on Ur Domain Name-->Double Click on StartWebLogic.cmd
    2) copy the Path like Oracle/Middleware/User_Projects/Applcations(Domains)/Servers,
open cmd and paste here, after that,
    Oracle/Middleware/User_Projects/Applcations(Domains)/Servers/StartManagedWeblogic.cmd osb_server1&.
    Hope it will help you.....

I have a project that write to some JMS queues but I don't remember adding that. I keep seeing the same message in the command prompt, looks like every second. Of course now I can't see the real messages that I need to see because this just keeps scrolling.
I need to turn that off I just can't figure out how. I tried everything from the logging tab in the console.
    Any other advise?
    Thank you.

    Sorry for the late reply.
we are using Microsoft 2007 exchange server.
just summarizing the issue one more time.
we have noticed we are facing few error messages in our OSB Log
    Can not load header.
error encounter while processing the inbox.
    no content.
We have noticed that in our proxy service move the mail to move folder, but we found there was two mail of same copy in move folder, it means two times the same mail has processed. and in second attempt this error message came.
Can you help me to understand what the scenario can happen behind this.

  • OSB Server issue

    hi all,
    OSB weblogic server version 10.3
I created a JMS project(Includes creating JMS Queue n Servers in console) in OSB workshop and deployed it successfully. The problem arose when i reopened my workshop and restarted the server. The server did not start and says timed out after 480s. the following error was logged in the log
"java.sql.SQLException: SQL-server rejected establishment of SQL-connection. Pointbase Server may not be running on localhost at port 9093. "
    Thanks

Well, as the error message says - it seems that your Pointbase is not available. Check if it runs and also check if there are other errors.

  • OSB Server fails startup port in use

    Hi fellow Oracle members,
I am trying to install Oracle Service Bus on Weblogic Application Server 11G (10.3.3.0). I first created the weblogic domain then later extended it to also include the OSB functionality. After extending the domain I changed the nodemanager.properties using the setNMProps.sh file then restarted the nodemanager.
The osb_server1 is created succesfully in the WL domain however I can not start it up due to the following exception in the servers osb_server1.out file:

I checked several forum threads for this exception and learned from them that the normal cause is the double usage of the Debug port 8453. I changed this port both in the setDomainEnv.sh file as well as in the nit-info/startscript.xml and the init-info/startscript-unsub.xml. Stopped all the weblogic components (nodemanager and AdminServer) then restarted everything again. This solution unfortunately does not work as the above exception keeps appearing even when different ports are used.
Has anyone seen the JDWP Transport dt_socket exception when they installed the osb functionality and knows how to solve this?
    Thank you in advance,
    Rene

What is your point of view about what the cause could be of this exception? I used the supplied JVM that came with the Oracle Fusion Middleware Weblogic Application Server so my expectation is that the JDK version is not the cause of this exception. It looks to me to be something in the configuration?

  • How to confirure readtimeout/socket timeout value in OSB server.

How can we handle sockettimeout excpetion/readtimeout excpetion in OSB,on server side any configuration paramere available for the same?
    Thanks,
    Anitha

    Hi,
If you mean to increase the request timeout i.e the time when a request is submitted to the server and the response is sent by the server it can be done in httpd.conf file located in $OracleHome/Apache/Apache/conf directory.
The attribute to be used for setting timeout is "Timeout". By default teh value is 600 seconds i.e 5 minutes.
After making these changes , run command dcmctl updateConfig -ct OHS and restart the HTTP Server. Please note these commands need to be run only if the httpd.conf changes are done through text editor.
    Hope this helps.

  • OSB Server restart

    Hello,
I made some changes to WSDLs and Service using OSB web console in Admin server. The Admin Server has two managed servers.
When I activated the changes, it says "Server(s) require restart before session can be activated."
Similar action I performed in other env got immediate effect without prompting for server restart.
Could you please tell me what are the cases that server(s) restart are required when changes are made via osb console.
    Thanks

You would get that message in Service Bus Console if you made any non-dynamic configuration changes earlier through Weblogic Console and didn't restart the server. The reason for this behavior is as follows:
Changes to non-dynamic configuration attributes require that the affected servers or system resources be restarted before they become effective. If a change is made to a non-dynamic configuration setting (For exampl, certain JMS configuration modification), no changes to dynamic configuration settings will take effect until after restart. This is to assure that a batch of updates having a combination of dynamic and non-dynamic attribute edits will not be partially activated.
For details, please refer to Weblogic Administration guide in the link below and look at the section for dynamic and non-dynamic changes.
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E15051_01/wls/docs103/intro/console.html
    Hope this helps.

  • SOA OSB Single Managed Server Why?

I am trying to understand why the option exists to run OSB and SOA in the same managed server (same jvm). Can someone answer this question for me please? I inherited a SOA/OSB server and the previous administrator has taken this approach. I have not been able to find any documentation on the subject, it is briefly mentioned in the OSB install guide but with out explanation as to why someone would want to do this http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/doc.1111/e15017/configure_osb.htm#BGBDGGBE

Troubleshooting Interoperability Between OSB and SOA Suite 10g and 11gR1 [ID 1267207.1]
Should OSB and SOA Suite Run in one single JVM?
To run OSB and SOA Suite in one single JVM, i.e. one single WebLogic Server instance, is very handsome for scenarios that only have low load and low memory requirements. For these development or test systems, OSB and SOA Suite can be set up to run in one of the following topologies:
Both OSB and SOA Suite in one single Admin Server (supported in 11.1.1.4 and upwards).
In a domain with one Admin Server and one single, non-clustered managed server to run OSB and SOA Suite on it (supported in 11.1.1.3 and upwards).
However, this is only recommended and supported for development or test environments.

  • Out-of-process Coherence server (OSB)

    Hi,
Iam trying to set up a seperate coherence server , i.e not the default coherence cache supported with weblogic (Fusion middleware server).
I started the coherence server setup on seperate machine(jvm) and followed the steps to integrate the out-of process coherence server with OSB /weblogic server.
But the application deployed is still storing data to the deafult cahe provided by the OSB(weblogic) server.
Can any one help me with the steps to integrate OSB/Weblogic server with external Coherence/Cache server.
    Thanks,
    Bhargavi

    Hi,
You would need to override the operational configuration on OSB Server to join the cluster spawned by the Coherence dedicated servers. Also, set the flag -Dtangosol.coherence.distributed.storage=false in the ServerStart of your OSB Servers which will disable the data storage in the OSB Servers.
