Some application cannot be installed during OSD, but all the application had passed the testing in software center
Checked the AppDiscovery.log found that as below, what problem is it?

Windows 7 - Some applications cannot install
Having an issue installing some applications on Win 7, specifically the Download Manager used by Direct2Drive. Installation gets as far as the prompt that asks if this program can make changes to this computer, but then dies.
Message was edited by: calstarsYou could try right clicking on the installer, select the compatibility tab, and set compatibility mode to Vista or XP SP2. If not, see if you can get an update from the publisher.

Some applications are not installed by MDT
Hi!
I'm deploying Windows 7 32bit and most of my applications are installed by MDT, after the image is droped on the target machine. I found myself facing a very odd situation for which I couldn't find an explanation or solution:
- "sometimes" (and that it's a key word), when I dropped the same image using the same task sequence on the same type of hardware (lets 20-30 computers), on some machines all the applications will be installed, and on others I'll miss 1, 2 (usaully
the same ones) or sometimes more and I'm not refering to the situation when the TS was interupted and it's aking you if you want to continue. The TS will finish without any error/warning messages but those apps will not be on all the machines.
Did anyone had a problem like this? Can you help me please with any information/solutions regarding it?

PS My MDT version is 6.1.2373.0No, the TS is not being interrupted, this was what I was saying previously. The TS will finish, without throwing any message but sometime, some applications won't be installed. If I go to the log files (BDD or ZTIApplications) I can see an error code about
those apps, but if I don't check the log files or look to see if all my apps came down well, I won't receive any notification from MDT that something didn't work well (and once, one of my coleauges sent me a log file were it was saying that one app was installed
succesfuly , but he couldn't find the app. I'm still very intrigue by that log file. Maybe it was sent by mistake from another computer).
From what I research and talked with other people I think, most of the time, the situation is caused by an app that starts to install, but it takes more time and after awhile MDT is thingking that it finished and it's moving to the next app. And when is
doing that, some time (especialy if the server is not busy), the other app(or apps that are comeing after it) is not installing at all. I said most of the time, because sometime, this problem will start to maifest before reaching that troublemaker app (again,
when the server is busier than usual).
What I've done until now, to limit the damages, was to put that app last on the list. If it won't install, at least won't affect others. I'm still working on it to make it works always! :) -
Can anyone tell me how I can get around this error? I've tried reinstalling adobe air and reinstalling the programs but neither works.
This issue happens when an older version of Adobe Story is already installed on a system.
To resolve this issue you will have to first remove that version and then install the latest one.
Now depending upon which system you are using, below are the steps:
MAC:
Open 'Applications' folder in Finder.
Move 'Adobe Story' application to Trash and remove it from Trash too.
Just to make sure that this application is not installed on a different drive, do a search for 'Adobe Story' in spotlight. If it is present on a different location, then remove it from there too.
Now log into story.adobe.com and download the desktop application again and install it.
WINDOWS:
Open Controls Panel and uninstall Adobe Story application
Now log into story.adobe.com and download the desktop application again and install it -
Air application cannot be installed after 2017
Hi all,
i had a problem a few months ago, developing an air
application using the beta air runtime, because the runtime stopped
working after a certain amount of time and the application could
not be installed.
Now i have installed version 1.1 of the runtime and have
rebuilt the application using a self signed key and added a
timestamp to it. Having the previous incident of the application
that could not be installed i decided to put the computer clock in
the future and check if the application would be installed using
1.1. runtime.
Well..., It does not after the 30th of October 2017. The same
thing occurs with other applications as well. e.g. The adobe media
player application.
Is this normal?
The application install log mentions an error : "Invalid
package signature" errorid=5022.It might be due to the Root Certificate expires by 2017.

I am trying to install applications that were deployed using software distribution to many users via RAP and mandatory. Normally the applications then are added in TS to get a WIM image and subsequently added to a deployment TS. The image created is on a
VM machine which is then cloned on ESX to push to new machines. I get error when i try to install the applications via TS if the option ' Download contents when required'. I created a separate TS in which these four applications get installed if option 'Access
directly from DP' is selected. However if i put ''Access directly from DP" in the main TS that creates the WIM file, i am not able to proceed in the WIn PE section. So i have to download the contents in full before running the TS. Would this cause the
WIM file to increase in size ?

Yes, most likely. New iMacs use Intel CPU's & require a different version of the OS software, even when the version number (e.g., 10.4.2) is the same. If the "someone" was truthful about wanting to use 10.3, he or she probably has discovered that is impossible with a newer iMac, & will need these disks.
In any event, the software is bundled with the iMac as part of the license & cannot not legally be sold apart from it. (Words to this effect should appear on the DVD label.)
Return the disks & get your money back.
