Oses11G OOB not working

I am on 8.1.14 SIA with OSES 11g installed on Windows 64-bit. I followed all the instructions. When I am indexing the Service requests, I can see couple of files getting placed in ssc\xmlidata and getting the SUC files to err folder. When I go to schedules tab, and then the statistics page I get this..This is after I placed a search spec on SR's like [Created] > '12/11/2011' on index definitions. I am always getting this and my documents are not getting as per the below status. But on the Administration- Search I get saying 13 records as indexed with status shown as indexed. So I got the log files attached.. Can some help on this..================== Crawling settings

  • NAC L3 OOB not working accross WAN

I am setting up a proof of concept lab for a NAC installation.
I am using Cisco Catalyst 3550 and 2950 switches (the actual environment is using 3750 and 2960 and 2950 switches) and have the NAC set up in central L3 OOB configuration. In this configuration i have a single NAS and NAM at the "MAIN_SITE" and then two branch sites "BRANCH1" and "BRANCH2".
At the main site, the OOB works fine and when a user logs on, the port is moved from the unauthenticated VLAN (290) to the role based VLAN (200) However, at the "branches" the switches are not placing the port into the role based VLAN, nor if a port is in VLAN 200 and a PC is plugged into that port does the port switch to VLAN 290 (unauthenticated).
Sniffing the traffic with Wireshark i see the SNMP sets being sent by the NAM to the switch telling it to place the port into VLAN 200, but the switch is not doing it.
My write strings are set up correctly and the NAM is able to set up the initial commands on the switch for the NAC ("snmp trap mac-notification added" commands to the ports).
Can anyone say what is wrong?
    Sachin

I defaulted the 3550 switch in the WAN and reconfigured it and it works now. I tried the same procedure for the 2950 switch but no dice. I replaced the 2950 switch with a 3550 that worked.
Can anyone say if there is an issue with teh 2950 switch for L3 OOB? I don't have another 2950 switch to test with.
    Sachin

  • NAC OOB logoff feature not working

    Hi all,
I've deployed NAC in L2 OOB VG mode with ADSSO and I'm trying to use the OOB logoff feature but it's not working. The VLAN change detect feature doesn't work either (I think the two problems might be related).
It will work if each user role is assigned a different auth/access VLAN pair but in my setup, everyone has a common auth vlan and separate role-based access vlans. Because of this, I have to use the IP refresh feature as well (this works fine).
I'm running Windows Vista and version 4.8.0 of the NAC software with version 4.8.1.5 of the agent
I checked the release notes and found that caveat CSCth60233 identifies this bug with the VLAN change detect with the workaround being to refresh the IP address automatically after being logged out. Does anyone know of a workaround for this problem to do this automatically? Is a solution for this problem in the works?
Also would anyone be able to help me with my OOB logoff feature not working? I've configured everything according to the documentation.
    I appreciate your responses
    ~Xavier

So, in reality, this issue has nothing at all to do with "it was working; now it is not", because you've destroyed all of the evidence that would exist in a "was working; now is not" scenario. What we really have here is a NEW installation that has failed.
So, from the perspective of a NEW installation that is not working...
Are there any other roles, features, services, or applications installed on this server?
Did you install the Web Server Role exactly as described in the documentation?
Did you install the WSUS Role exactly as described in the documentation?
Were there any other roles, features, services, or applications installed onto this server
after your original (working) installation of WSUS?

Oh, well, I have red and followed the documentation exactly step-by-step on the technet library, and I can guarantee you nothing went wrong because this is not my first installation for it
When I told you about the old damaged installation and the new installation which is also failed and showed me the same symptoms as the old one, I was sure that nothing wrong with the WSUS itself, but rather it is something wrong with the environment
Answering to your above questions, the answer for all is that: that server is only used for WSUS, nothing more
Anyway, I have managed to restore the service thanks to your previous reply where you point to the CONFIG folder inside the NET framework folder, I checked the files in there, some were changed to the date I think has stopped the service, so I repaired the
    NET framework 2, and restarted
It is working fine now and syncing with the update server

    M.M

    Hi M.M,
The class for SharePoint 2013 Search box input element is as follow, please check if it is what you want.
    class="ms-textLarge ms-srch-sbLarge-fullWidth ms-srch-sb-prompt ms-helperText"
The project code you are using is updated in codeplex, and the query suggestions (similar to this autocomplete) is an OOB feature in SharePoint 2013 enterprise verison, you can take a look.

  • Post Migration from SP2010 -Attach File Button not working in any list new/edit forms

    Hi,
We have migrated the SharePoint 2010 farm to Sharepoint 2013 on last saturday and we are noticing an interesting issue after the migration .
On any custom list on any web application ,When we create a new item,if we click on attach file button in the ribbon, nothing shows up on the screen.
In the browser Dev Tools its showing an error message as "Cannot read Property style of null".
This is happening on a javascript (form.debug.js) on line No : 5276
    (document.getElementById("partAttachment")).style.display = "block";
There is no element rendered in html with id "partAttachment",which is causing this error to happen.
    Solutions tried are
    1) Modified the List Advanced Settings to disable and enable the attachments ,which did not work
    2) Ran the Sharepoint Configuration wizard which did not fix
3)Tried reset the site definition for all pages in the site from site settings
    4) Deactivated and activated all the activated features in the site collection
Its an OOB List New Form,no customizations has been done.
Similar error occurring with List Edit form as well
when you click on the List Item in the List default view when you navigate to the list and when you click on attach file,a popup dialog to upload attachments appearing,However its not working when you
navigate into the list item and tried to upload attachment.
Please help if any Solutions / thoughts

    Hi Christopher,

    Farm Information
    OS: Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 Enterprise
    SQL: SQL 2008 R2 SP2
SP -SharePoint 2013 with no CU applied
Method,we used is restored the content DB from SP2010 and attaching to SP2013 SQL Server
Site Collection is in 15 mode
It happens on new site collection even though its not migrated site.
Server is 16GB RAM 8Core Processor
If we create a new form from designer, attach file link is working
OOB New form.aspx is having List Form webpart
Custom New Form.aspx creaed with designer has data form webpart
if we create a new sharpoint site collection in 2010 mode, its working fine without any issues
Interestingly, all the javascript files loading were debug.js,Not sure how its loading all debug.js files

  • Scenario Manager not working in ATG

    Hi,
I have a problem with scenario manager. I have a scenario manager which triggers order confirmation mails. When the jboss server starts it throws the below error.
Unable to declare this instance as the default ProcessEditorServer. Another instance, Dev-254:8850, has already been run against this schema, and has declared itself as the default ProcessEditorServer. This instance will be started as an individual server. To declare this instance as the ProcessEditorServer, either configure the /atg/scenario/scenarioManager.xml file, or remove the row from dss_server_id whose server_id column is Dev-245:8850. The first option is the recommended one, since it will prohibit this problem from occurring in the future.+
But for systems, it is working fine. some others it is not working.
    Any idea?

I guess you are using a Common Schema for all developers. Whenever a first server is starting, it will register itself as the Process Editor Server, this must be one of the developer machine and he will be able to create/edit scenario in his machine but for others its not.
One thing you can try out is that (not sure it works or not), configure localhost:8850 (drp_port) using /atg/scenario/scenarioManager.xml; it might help all the developers to use Scenario editor. As per ATG you should use one dedicated instance for process editor server, you may try out the localhost way for dev purpose, do let me know if it works for you.
/DSS/config/config.jar has the OOB scenarioManager.xml file, sample configuration below.
    +<process-manager-configuration>+
    +<process-editor-server>+
    +<server-name>localhost:8850</server-name>+
    +</process-editor-server>+
    +</process-manager-configuration>+
    Cheers

    Hi,
Can you check and see if dns and ntp are accurate and can you verify your AD environment? What version of domain controllers are in service if there are a mix then other steps like modifying a few files maybe needed.
Also was the secondary CAS replaced or reimaged recently?
    Thanks,

I installed photoshop cc 2014, but Camera Raw remains on Version 8.0. Update to 8.5 does not work.

    Solved in this way:
    Close Photoshop first, then:
Download the 8.5 manual update link from here:  Don't run the installer, but instead just Open the zip file in Windows Explorer.
    http://swupdl.adobe.com/updates/oobe/aam20/win/PhotoshopCameraRaw8-8.0/8.5.50/setup.zip
Navigate inside the zip file to find the resources inside that correspond to the 64 or 32 bit Photoshop version that you're running.  I assume you have installed the 64 bit version, so the rest of the instructions will concentrate on the 64 bit Camera Raw.8bi only.  Here's the path:
    setup.zip \ payloads \ AdobeCameraRaw8.0All-x64-050614143245 \ Assets1_1.zip
The file within Assets1_1.zip, named 1002, is actually the Camera Raw.8bi file for 64 bits, just with a different name.
Copy 1002 to your folder on your computer where your Camera Raw.8bi normally lives, e.g.,
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CC\File Formats
Rename the old Camera Raw.8bi file to Camera Raw.8bi_8.0.  It's important that the extension is changed to something other than .8bi.
    Rename 1002 to Camera Raw.8bi
Run Photoshop and verify the Camera Raw version by choosing Help - About Plug-in... - Camera Raw.
    Thank you so much!

  • DTMF Not working on Elastix setup

    Hello,
I have a PBX with Elastix. Everything works fine, I can receive calls and I can make calls, but DTMF is not working, has anyone faced/solved this problem with Skype Connect and Elastix?
I'm apparently setting the SIP Trunks properly.

    Hi Tomribbens,
Could you please enable the MTP in the SIP trunk and check if the MTP is working.
If both party are on SCCP cisco phones then its support both in band and out of band.
However if you facing issue with the PSTN world, then please check the MTP in SIP trunk and DTMF method as RFC 2833 OR OOB & RFC 2833.
this is because one side support inband and other side support only out of band so we need MTP to terminate the RTP session there and from MTP a new RTP session would be established to the destination.
Please let me know if this work.

  • Multimedia Key inoperative, photo editor not worki...

My N96 is now running 20.015 firmware. I have freed up as much phone memory as possible by moving messaging to my 4Gb mmc. I have installed all possible apps to the 16Gb drive. The phone memory is showing 60.8MB of free space. I have reinstalled the 20.015 firmware.
However there still seems to be several functions which do not work correctly. Most notably the MultiMedia Key refuses to work and it is not possible to edit photos or videos. When I try to edit photos , even small ones, the edit page is simply blank except for the words at the bottom, OPTIONS-APPLY EFFECT-BACK.
Any possible solutions would be greatly appreciated.
I am seriously considering posting this to Nokia to be looked at although I feel I should do a Prince Charles and revert to my trusty old N95.
After so much disappointment with this N96 I am now afraid to order a N97.
