Osprey 210?

The Osprey 210 card isn't on Adobe's list of capture cards
that it
recommends to use with FMLE.. it should work though,
shouldn't it?

Here a list of tested cards. http://www.adobe.com/support/documentation/en/flashmediaencoder/FMLE_DeviceMatrix3.0.pdf
As you see on the first line, FMLE is designed to support any capture device that supports Microsoft DirectShow.

FMLE is disconneting from FMS after every few minutes.
Problem is between network of FMLE and FMS. So you need to check network conditions between FMLE and server to avoid this problem.
Either network of your machine or server machine is getting lost after every few minutes which is stopping broadcast.
Please check and let me if you find the problem.

  • Connect Add-in error

I and others have had an issue where the user clicks on the
Video / Audio activation button and Connect Pro locks up. Another
way to lock it up is to run the Audio wizard. In some cases the
computer testing flash app locks up as well. The window fails to
close. To remove the window one must reboot.
Keep in mind this only occurs on some PC's. Similar
configurations, software and hardware (what works on one will not
the other) between PC's is mind boggling that there is a random
issue. It seems to have problems irregardless to what video or
audio drivers you assign. When you try to close the window you will
get a windows prompt that says:
You chose to end the nonresponsive program, Adobe Acrobat
    Connect Add-in 9.0 r177.
    or
You chose to end the nonresponsive program, Adobe Acrobat
    Connect Add-in 7.0 r455.
This is definitely seems to be a flash player/plug-in issue
    with that prompt.
It does not matter if you have your own Enterprise server or
go through the Adobe's hosted Connect Pro server. The same results
    occur.
I have contacted Adobe's tech support and was given no
resolve, just a "we can't help you."
A week ago, here on the forum was a couple of postings on
this matter but is missing (Evidently Adobe has been merging the
Macromedia and Adobe forums, thus resulting in the missing topic:
Acrobat Connect Add-in 7.0 r455 has encountered a problem and
needs to close. Add In Crashing when starting camera and voice)
At least I can tell you what I have found in my solo attempt
    to resolve this.
Uninstalling and reinstalling adobe software will not work.
Changing browsers will not work as well. Getting the latest webcam
or video capture card drivers fail to resolve the issue. The most
extreme action to perform is to reformat your entire PC- however,
this does not guaranty that it will fix the issue.
Again it is clear that the problem is that Connect Pro cannot
communicate with audio and video drivers. This issue has been
happening since the release of the CP 6 update.
If anyone knows of a easy fix please share it.

Here we have several PC's (Dell) that are clone
configurations. All use the same hardware and software, there are
no significant differences between the PC's. That is what makes
this odd. Where one PC works fine, the other does not.
With our system here all of our staff have the same network
permissions, firewall setup. We have our own Enterprise server and
have a direct connection to it without any need for an Edge Server
at this point. It is a vanilla setup. Our connectivity is LAN. The
problem occurs irregardless to user role (host - participant).
In our earlier post we mentioned the same result with Adobe's
own hosted service. Connectivity is not an issue.
We all use the Logitech QuickCam Zoom. As to the driver issue
that you have found, what webcam model/driver version was the
conflict found in and how did you fix it? That information would be
nice to add to our troubleshooting pool for our virtual guests.
We are not convinced that this is the issue for us.
We also use Osprey 210 analog video capture cards in all of
    our PC's as well.
We have found that changing the video/audio settings to
different drivers still results with the same lock up.
We have uninstalled drivers for both to see if either was
creating a conflict and found that it does not matter, we get the
    same result.
To further the info our PC's are Dell Optiplex 745, dual core
6700 @ 2.66Ghz, with 3GB RAM. Fairly new machines. We are using
    Windows XP Professional.
We also have Adobe CS3, and other A/V software. But we have
found no connection between this issue and possible conflicts with
    software.
When we reformatted a PC, we conducted tests to see if it
were drivers or software that caused it. All installations under
our control did not seem to be the result of this issue.
We are debating whether to conduct another test to see if it
could be a Microsoft update or patch that could have resulted in
this. Again all of this issue did not begin until after the Connect
Pro 6 service pack 2 was released.
We have installed service pack 3 to see if this was resolved
    but it was not.
Again I hope this helps. Anyone find similar problems?
    Fixes?

  • "video capture cards Osprey  100 and 2102

I'm doing FMLE eSTREAM  with 3.0 and I need a capture card. I have a doubt  about osprey cards 100 and 210. What is the  output format of these cards. buy the card and  install the drivers and is fully compatible with 3.0 FMLE,the output format  is compatible with the formats accepted FMLE 3.0 (I'm using H.264  compression mpeg4 formats are accepted) or need to use that program  osprey "SIMULSTREAM "
Thank you very much for your reply

Tell me  to  summarize I  can be used osprey 100 capture card that converts pal to  raw format. the encoded or compressed  FMLE 3.1 using (in my case) H.264 and then the flash media server completes streaming.
Tell me if using capture cards ATI give me an output format H.264 and use the  FMLE3.1  again and then compress it using H.264 and Flash media server completes streaming, is this  correct?

  • Unable to record audio with FMLE/Osprey 700 HD

I have deployed a C# desktop application on a Server machine (Windows Server 2003 SP2), which wakes up and streams the incoming video/audio signals to a Flash media server. The Server machine is using this card (ViewCast Osprey-700 HD Video Capture Card) for getting the audio/video input.
The problem is that, I can successfully stream the video but not audio. If I start FMLE GUI the audio driver is not listed and it complains that "an audio device was not found". I also tried to run my app as a Scheduled task under a different user than the one I use for Remote Desktop, but it fails for the audio.
I tried updating the driver with no success. Any clue?

I have more or less the same issue, it just doesnt show any audio devices.
Im thinking FMLE is not looking at the right spot for audio devices.

  • How do I uninstall 178,210 personas that my daughter installed, I have no idea how she did this or how to undo all this mess. One at a time may take me several years, have any suggestions for more than one. Thanks

My daughter has an addiction to computer and I thought she couldn't get thru my FoxFilter, never thought there was something she could mess up on Firefox itself. Every time I start my computer it runs and runs, and takes forever for anything to download. I understand why. I just don't know how to fix it. Since there are 178,210 of these personas been added to firefox. Thanks for your help.
    == This happened ==
    Not sure how often
== Maybe alot was done on 7/30 or 7/31/10

Did she install the Personas Plus extension (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions)?
Firefox only keeps the last 8 installed personas by default.

  • [SOLVED] Xorg freeze with nvidia GeForce 210 when resizing terminal

    Hello,
I am working on Archlinux. My computer freeze when I resize a terminal window.
To reproduce the problem, I follow the below steps :
1- launch openbox (with tint2, xcompmgr and nitrogen)
2- start the "terminal" console emulator (with true transparent background)
3- launch opera and go to a website which take a while to load (with a lot of data) (I used http://www.lemonde.fr)
4- while the website is loading, switch to the terminal window and double click on the title bar to maximize it
         5- the box freeze
I am not able to take the control back. I cannot exit or kill Xorg / Openbox. I cannot switch to a text terminal (ttyx). No key sequence is working.
Only a hard reset of the box is working.
I have tried to disable the transparent background of the terminal window without success.
I have tried to not start xcompmgr without success.
The problem also occurs with rxvt-unicode instead of terminal.
It seems the problem happens more often when using console emulator based on vte.
vte itself has the same issue.
The only workaround I have found is to disable the harware acceleration with the below parameter in the xorg.conf file:
    Option    "RenderAccel"    "true"
The problem with this workaround are poor graphical performances.
Could you please let me know if you have any idea / clue to identify / fix this problem ?
    Thanks and regards

    Hi jasonwryan,
Your thread helps a lot. I saw a lot of posts but not this one.
This workaround is fine for me to wait the fix.
    Thanks a lot
    Workaround :
It seems the problem might be linked to transparent items like background.
As explained in the above thread :
According to the bug report the nVidia driver is freaking out and creating too many events, which causes an event buffer in Xorg to overflow.  It works OK with the older Xorg, though.
So the temporary solution is to downgrade 3 packages.
    Install the tool to downgrade
    > yaourt -Sy downgrade
    Downgrade
Note the item number can change
    > downgrade xf86-input-evdev
    Hit "s" key
    Choose 2 (xf86-input-evdev-2.6.0-2-i686.pkg.tar.xz)
    > downgrade xorg-server
    Hit "s" key
    Choose 1 (xorg-server-1.9.4.901-1-i686.pkg.tar.xz)
    > downgrade xorg-server-common
    Hit "s" key
    Choose 1 (xorg-server-common-1.9.4.901-1-i686.pkg.tar.xz)
Be carefull : don't update these 3 packages when updating your system (pacman -Syu) since it is not fixed.

  • Need help on resolving the issue with adobe output server - error MSG256 & MSG 210 not in .ini file

    Hi,
I am using adobe output designer 5.5 for designing the label template and using the Adobe output server for printing process.
In the Jfmerge.ini we given the condition "DiscardUnknownFields=Yes" for ignoring the unwanted fields in the .dat file.
During the process, I faced some issue with the output server in printing the labels.
When the .dat file is placed in the Data folder of adobe, the label is not getting printed in the printer.
The file is move to the error folder and an error file is getting generated which contains the error message as given below:
    090826 02:59:02 D:\Program Files\Adobe\Central\Bin\jfmerge: [256]** Message Msg256 not in .ini file **
    090826 02:59:02 D:\Program Files\Adobe\Central\Bin\jfmerge: [210]** Message Msg210 not in .ini file **
    2009/08/26 02:59:02 D:\Program Files\Adobe\Central\Bin\jfserver.exe: [314]Agent exit message: [210]** Message Msg210 not in .ini file **
The output server is a new installtion and I verified the Jfmerge.ini file. It contains the message details of Msg256 and Msg210.
I also verified the license and it is a valid licence.
Kindly help me out in solving this issue.
    Thanks
    Senthil

I assume this is too late to help you, but other might need a hint.  I had the same problem, and found some possible causes that I posted on http://codeznips.blogspot.com/2010/02/adobe-output-server-message-msg210-not.html.
It is quite likely that you are missing some double quotes around the path specifying the ini file (-aii), if its installed under "Program Files".
    Hope this helps anyone....

    Hi
As I said, go to AS82 and upload the Income tax values for this group asset....
Unless you do that, system wont allow you to proceed.. May be you can enter a nominal value if it is important to sell the asset now and later on correct it

The Scenario is, there is an asset(car) which was uploaded during implimentation and it got depreciated fully in the month of april.
The same asset(car, which is fully depreciated) is sold for an amount of Rs 40000/-.
So, I was trying to post it with some revenue vlaue in transaction ABAON, but I am getting the above error.
(The Asset value was an uploaded during implimentation,it was not an acquisition value from SAP. It was an uploaded value from legacy data)

  • HP Mini 210-4000 Blue Screen of Death PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA error

I've been up and down the Forums here with no specific luck, unfortunately, so I'm going to ask even if this has been queried and solved in another part of the site which I may have missed.
I am trying to sort out a friend's HP Mini Notebook, model HP Mini 210-4125sa. The machine started up well enough until a week ago, when it suddenly decided to blue screen.
The specific error message text displayed within the BSOD reads as follows:
    PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
    TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
    *** STOP: 0x00000050 (0x87E40000, 0x00000000, 0x92442B13, 0x00000000)
I can not boot past the Windows 7 loading screen - the load bar makes it two fifths up and that's it.
I had thought to try and recover the operating system, if at all possible, from what is apparently a recovery partition that is created on the HD ( i haven't worked with these machines before unfortunately), although i cannot figure how to get at this partition before the error hits.
Also, having attempted to download a piece of software from the HP USB Recovery Flash Disk Utility, i realise that it seems necessary to actually use this from the notebook itself, which is not possible.
Having started running the various onboard tests from the BIOS menu, the Hard Disk Test has just apparently failed (specifically the Hard Disk Optimized DST portion of the test), with failure ID GGBXXV-66A75U-MFPX0J-61VV03 (i'm not certain if this information is of value but am including it nonetheless).HP have not unfortunately been an awful lot of help as they wil only offer a one-off technician support call for forty quid, or to take the notebook away for repair, the cost of which is practically as much as the original cost of the hardware. I would of course prefer to try and sort this out myself but have hit a bit of a wall at the moment. Any suggestions would be fantastic, at this point.
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

That hardware test for the hard disk is a dead giveaway of a failed item. A failed hard disk  is a show stopper.
Hard Disk Optimized DST portion of the test), with failure ID GGBXXV-66A75U-MFPX0J-61VV03 (i'm not certain if this information is of value but am including it nonetheless) It is important information.
A corrupted NTFS volume (the hard disk) can also generate the " PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA error"  stop message.

  • [SOLVED] linux-3.13.6-1 and systemd-210-3 causes black screen

My computer boots into total black screen after recent update, including linux-3.13.6-1, xf86-video-intel-2.99.910-1 and systemd-210-3.  I have tried all combinations of rollback, I find  linux-3.12.7-2  + systemd-208-2 resolves my problem.
As I dig on, I find it a problem with systemd-backlight. With running kernel-3.13 and systemd-{210,211},  disabling systemd-backlight service either through kernel parameter systemd.restore_state=0 or by masking systemd-backlight service can fix my problem.
Still, I am not the only one experiencing black screen and unresponsive X input with 3.13 kernel: several radeon user seem to have similar phenomenon but cannot be fixed by disabling backlight restore.  I would suspect restoring backlight is just one of many ways to trigger this issue, I not experienced in kernel, but I will try to debug the problem. Help will be appreciated.
There seems nothing wrong with X, but a problem with power management.

Hello! I seem to be having a similar problem to what is being discussed here. So I figured I would add what is going on with me.
I will try to keep it short but I apologize in advance for it being a bit long.
Hardware: 2006 Imac with Radeon mobility x1600
For me there was no problem before the systemd upgrade to 210 and the upgrade to 211 did not fix the problem of black screen on boot.
Also I upgraded my kernel from 3.13.5-1 to 3.13.6-1 after the problem with systemd started.
Downgrading systemd to 208.10 ( the kernel had been upgraded already) got the system working properly again.
I have since gone back to 211 and have found that:
If I wait for 5 - 10 minutes after the computer boots when I move the mouse the screen wakes up and I can unlock the screen and the computer works as normal.
Note: I am using gdm and gnome3. I think from this that my problem is a brightness/screen not being turned on issue?
If I add nomodeset to the kernel boot parameters the computer works but the Radeon drivers are not loaded.
and after booting with nomodeset if I use "sudo modprobe radeon modeset=1" my computer screen blacks and I have no response.
With both 210 and 211 I can press ctrl+alt+F2 type my username and password into the blind and give commands like "sudo reboot followed by the password" blindly to the computer and the computer will execute them.
I hope that this can be fixed soon... It is annoying at best.
    EDIT
I tried  "sudo modprobe radeon modeset=1" again and found that I can press ctrl+alt+F2 and get a terminal login prompt that I can use and see! Although gdm login/gnome is still a black screen...
