Of course there are a lot of OSS notes about performance. With the search term 'performance BSEG' I had 431 hits - some old notes, but some new ones, too. Depending on your release and installation (Retail, Oil,...) the results can be filtered to get the relevant ones easier. So search yourself in <a href="http://service.sap.com/notes">SAP notes</a>.

Not able to find proper OSS note for an issue araised in patching

Per note 1148614:
Apply the correction in this note and refer to note number '1127899' for automatic delta generation.
However when searching for OSS note 1127899 , I get:
An SAP note with the number requested could not be found.
Could the people from SAP help with this?

Hi,
a type is one possible reason - but the other reason could be the internal SAP release process. PErson A writes a note - and this note referes to Note B. Note A gets release - so everybody looks for Note B - but this is not released at the moment - so it can not be found at the moment. Talk to SAP via OSS and ask them, they can help you - cause internal SAP people can always see these notes, even they are not release to external customers. Or wait a few days - usually they get available then.

OSS note 1135038 not available on SAP service marketplace

Hi,
I am unable to get OSS note 1135038 from SAP service marketplace. When I try to open it I get the message 'The requested SAP Note is either in reworking or is released internally only'.
Can somebody help?

Did you get this note number today by searching in SAP support portal?
It is either abandoned, or applies to one customer (only the customer is able to see it), or SAP is maintaining it and you should wait. Open a message if you have an express need, or if this note is in rework status since many days.

Schedule lines present on R/3 but not available on BW.

Schedule lines present on R/3 but not available on BW.
It is observed that some schedule line records are uploaded to BW with recordmode R causing deletion from ODS, though they are present on R/3 side (in EKET). We use 2lis_02_scl to upload schedule line data system BI 7.0. Anyone faced such problem?

here he talks about what is the real motive for changing R mode to X mode .
So but this notes does an undo operation for the same .
We need to re do the same again in start routine if we want to maintain the deleted records . Also search the OSS by giving the data source name & record mode R , then you will also get the original problem in extractors with R mode .

Is there a central note available yet for Upgrading to NW 7 EHP 5?

Hi all,
I'm trying to find out if there is a central note available for upgrading to NW 7 EHP5.
I have note 1299009 which is the central note for upgrading to NW 7 EHP 2 but I'm trying to find one for EHP 5 specifically (if it exists at all).
The reason I'm keen to find this is because note 1299009 refers to downloading various software patches and fixes before starting your upgrade and it tells you the versons of the files you need, but it is specific to EHP2 and its not at all obvious which files to use if you are going to EHP 5 (or does it even matter?).
For example, you need to download the latest patch for SAPup. The oss note mentione for EHP 2 to use the 7.02 version. Logically it would follow that there might be a 7.05 one for EHP5? No there isn't, you just get 7.00, 7.01, 7.02, 7.10, 7.11 and 7.30 - how do you know which to use for EHP 5? (or is it just 7.02 still?). The current version of SAPup that comes on the DVD is 7.00/3. Hopefully you can see why I am confused.
The same is true for the correction needed for the upgrade package. The suggested one in the note refers to FIX_ NW02.UPG. On OSS the availble ones are the same as above (nothing with a 5!).
Any help appreciated.

Let me clarify your doubts here.
There is no EHP5 for NW 7.0 yet. Its EHP5 for ECC 6.0 which brings in NW 7.00 EHP2 along.
ECC 6.0 uses NW 7.0 architecture and also note that NetWeaver 7.0 is also available as a independent product.
Now if you are having NW 7.0 as your product version then you need to apply EHP2 of NW on it to be on 702 release.
But if you are having ECC 6.0 as your product version then you need to apply EHP5 of ECC on it to be on 702 release which would also make 605 release for all other application components.
For ECC 6.0 EHP5 kindly refer the following SAP Notes:
1302772 - Central Note - SAP Enhancement Package Installer 7.00
1298878 - Installation of SAP Enhancement Package 5 on SAP ERP 6.0

Formula Not available error after BW35 Upgrade

Hi Guys,
We upgraded to BW35 from BW30B. If I open a query in QBW getting an error message,
Abort, The (Sub) Formula 3kfd3fe54er343df3fdf is not available.
This query was working just fine before the upgrade, I checked all the formulas used in the query, everything is OK. I get the same error from TCODE: RSRT, I can't even debug. Any inputs ?

DIALOG, CALL TRANSACTION cannot be used within a database
loop.
You can collect the data needed for these statements together in an
internal table and process them
in a loop.
If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following
keywords:
"DBIF_RSQL_INVALID_CURSOR" "CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB"

In what type of HA context should OSS Note 1052984 be applied to?

I was wondering if somebody could clarify the Term u201CHigh Availabilityu201D (HA) in an SAP Context.
I installed a PI 7.11 (SID=ABC) system as part of an HA Cluster Failover.
The u201CABCu201D system is running on Server Host u201C123u201D.
I have another Server Host, u201C456u201D, that is part of the HA Cluster Failover. This server has two other SAP Instances u201CDEFu201D and u201CGHIu201D installed on it.
When u201CABCu201D needs to failover, due to Hardware failure, etc, the two Instances u201CDEFu201D & u201CGHIu201D are shut down by the HA Cluster Software on host u201C456u201D, and then u201CABCu201D fails over to server u201C456u201D, and runs on it until the original host, u201C123u201D is available again for u201CABCu201D to run on.
I was reading OSS Note 1052984, u201CProcess Integration 7.1- High Availabilityu201D, and in this noteu2019s context it seems like HA is referring to an Instance where the
ASCS u2013 (ABAP System Central Services)
SCS u2013 (JAVA System Central Services)
DVEBMGS u2013 (Primary Application)
DB u2013 (Database Instance)
Are all installed on separate servers, and not necessarily on an u201CHAu201D cluster, where one SAP instance resides on one server and can failover to another node B server, when the need arises.
Any insight in to what context Note1052984 is referring to would be very helpful.

OSS note 506603 What is it And where can I get it?

I am trying to create my form with a SAP Table wizard connection, when I try to use the Table wizard I got the error: "No such interface supported". I can see in a lot of comments the solution is on OSS note 506603. I was trying to find this patch in the sdn site but I could not find it. I am not sure if it is a document, an exe file, a dll,,, and when I see the same question asking where to get the OSS note 506603 there is no answer, could somebody help me telling me what is this and where can I get the patch? I would really appreciate it.

1. The Proxy Wizard terminates with the error message "Exception caught in method createFunction for DD_GET_UCLEN Reason: null".

For proxies with several functions, the following runtime error can occur under certain circumstances: "Method xyz can not be reflected." The cause is a combination of an error in the .NET framework and the way in which the proxy generator uses XML-attributes.
The SAP wizard table does not work. Existing tables are not recognized.
Both problems are solved by the patch attached to this note. Stop all instances of Visual Studio and unpack the ZIP file into the "%Program Files%\Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003/Common7/IDE" directory, whereby the "SAP.Connector.Design.DLL" file is replaced.

Clarification about OSS note 677377 - E-mail to credit representative

in the OSS note mentioned in the subject I find the following statement: "The document can be released directly from the e-mail".
I have this question: the option to release the document from the e-mail is available only if the workflow is active?
I made all the settings mentioned in the OSS note but I receive in SAPoffice only the notification with no option to release the SO.

try the following:
open your workplace in SAP office and go to inbox folder. Click on unread or read documents and documents will be displayed on the right side of the screen. Select one of the documents and click on right button of the mouse and click on execute. You´ll execute the tcode you set in execute parameters on your message.
