OSstatus error -9459 when export slide show
Can someone tell me how to resolve this issue? When I export the slide show containing pictures and musics, I get an error message "OSstatus error -9459".
Welcome to Apple Discussions sam70,
Go the Apple Menu > System Preferences > Energy Saver > Display Sleep
-- Set your display sleep time to never and try exporting again
Hope that helps.

Osstatus error -9459 when export to iDVD
I have made several slide shows into mp4 files via Share to iDVD but 1 keeps generating the aboe error after many minutes of processing. ANy thoughts as to why this would be so. I should have enough HD space.
In SystemPreferences -> Energy Saver Set your Monitor Sleep setting to Never.

OS Status error -9459 when exporting slideshow
I've put together a 17 minutes slideshow in iPhoto using the scrapbook theme. I've received this error twice now - once when using the default "display" size export to mp4 and a different time when using a more customized export to .mov using no compression.
After the first error, I rebooted and the export worked. I am trying a reboot again to see if I can export again with the new settings.
Anyone know why I'm getting this error and what it means?
"The operation couldn't be completed.
(OSStatus error -9459.)"You may have a damaged library. Try the following: backup and launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys depressed to rebuild the library. Select the last three options.

This topic has considerable discussion on that particular error message and possible fixes: Error 9459 Potential Fix
Also Apearl reported in this topic, http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=11195681#11195681, setting the Energy Saver to never sleep would avoid that error message when exporting the slideshow. Not a fix, but a workaround.
Also if you search the iPhoto forum for 9459 you'll find many more topics covering the problem and some potential fixes. -
OSStatus Error - 9459 while exporting slideshow from Aperture 3.0.1
While attempting to export a slideshow I get the message "Unable to Export Slideshow. The operation couldn't be completed. (OSStatus Error - 9459.)" This occurs when exporting to Apple TV or p720. Help please.
I received this error, when exporting the slideshow.
The slideshow took some time to export and the display on the Mac was set to sleep within the hour.
The display went to sleep and soon afterwards, I received the error.
If you have your display set to go to sleep then this could be one reason why you are receiving this error.
If not then I'm stumped for another answer. -
Osstatus error -2125 when exporting in iMovie 11
In imove 11, I'm trying to export using Quicktime. The computer works on the export for hours, but always returns a message of "osstatus error -2125".
I've had no luck figuring out what the code means. Does anyone have any clues here?
Thanks,
MitchHi
OK Error code - 2125 usually indicates that the movie is to large.
It use to pop up when going to iDVD !
iDVD - DO NOT CARE ABOUT Gbs at all. I got movies on 500Mb that do not fit and 50Gb that fits nicely.
iDVD - ONLY CARES ABOUT - Duration. Duration is Movie time + MENU TIME. Choice of
menu and animation of this can take lost of "DURATION" 15 minutes or even more.
Choice of encoding method and use of SL or DL DVDs determine the DVD limit.
iDVD 08 & 09 & 11 has three levels of qualities.
iDVD 6 has the two last ones
• Professional Quality (movies + menus up to 120 min.) - BEST
• Best Performances (movies + menus less than 60 min.) - High quality on final DVD
• High Quality (in iDVD08 or 09) / Best Quality (in iDVD6) (movies + menus up to 120 min.) - slightly lower quality than above
DL DVDs can store about double of these times.
ALTERNATIVE - The Error Code can indicate that free space on Start-up (BOOT) hard disk is
less than 25Gb (my minimum)

If you are getting OSStatus error -2125, I've seen this caused by the computer display sleep settings.
Try changing the sleep settings to never and see if you are able to export.

OSStatus Error -2002 when exporting to mp4
hello there,
Everytime I want to export a movie into mp4, iMovie '09 starts doing it, but in the end fails with an error message: OSStatus Error -2002. What's happened and what can I do?
Thank you.If you use Share/Media Browser or Share/iTunes in the Large, Medium, or Mobile pre-sets, that will be an MP4 (h.264) file. Try that. If it works, we can look more closely at your settings. It it fails, we make take a closer look at your source footage.

Osstatus error -108 when exporting slideshow ... what does this mean?
I googles this and can't find anyone who has had it. How can you find out without being an operating systems developer!
Welcome to the Apple Discussions. What happens to the slideshow other than giving you this error. Don't know what it means. However, several users have reported iPhoto crashing when trying to export a slideshow. You might search this forum for that to see if you're experiencing something similar. As far as I know there was no fix found.
Be sure to report it to Apple via via http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto.html.

Error when exporting slideshow (OSStatus error -9459)
I put together a slideshow in iphoto without problem. The problem starts when I want to export the slideshow - in order to make it available in iTunes. The export process seemingly randomly stops with the error message (OSStatus error -9459).
The slideshow is rather large (500 pictures and some videos), I was not able to recreate the error when trying on a small selection, incl. movie clips.
Is the pure number of the pictures or the resulting file the reason for this? Anything else?
How can I solve this? Did anybody else have that problem?
Btw I am running Lion (but the error also happened with SnowLeopard).
Thanks for any advice.

OSStatus error -9459 message received when I tried to export slideshow
OSStatus error -9459 message received when I tried to export an iphoto slideshow to imovie or iDVD. how do I work around it or correct the problem
Yes, it let me create a project. The error came when I tried to save...not save as...also came when I went to build the DVD. It always saves before it begins to build and the same error message came up again. It is a very simple DVD...no menus....just a plug and play. It is a thearter performance that was shot and then edited in Pro and opening titles and credits added. The thought is that the DVD would be put into the player and the timeline begins to play from the opening titles to the end credits...nothing fancy......

but I tried that earlier and the same thing happened.
Why not give us a list of all the things you've tried so we don;t waste your time - and ours - making suggestions that you know won't work?
