OSX Lion I do not have full screen option for Safari for any user accounts

In my iMac I have three user accounts plus the guest account. For all accounts exept the guest account Safari do not show the full screen icon or give the option from the menu. Does some one have the same problem and does someone know how to get this feature. PS! I have upgraded to LION!

It's pretty simple to create your own Full Screen keyboard shortcut. Here is what I did and it works perfectly:
1. System Preferences
2. Keyboard
3. Keyboard Shortcuts tab
4. Application Shortcuts
5. Click + symbol at bottom or right box and select All Applications
6. Set Menu Title for Enter Full Screen & Set Keyboard Shortcut for Control + Command + F click Add
7. Repeat Step 5
8. Set Menu Title for Exit Full Screen & Set Keyboard Shortcut for Control + Command + F click Add
9. Exit System Preferences and use the new keyboard shortcuts on all apps that have Full Screen capabilities.

Adobe now burried deleting or trashing unwanted iteams files or folders in the Archive section of your creative cloud brouser/web portal.
Note!! - No longeer is there a standard TrashCan icon or simple Delete button... its burried in the archive sector: but why i ask?

In general, archives consist of records that have been selected for permanent or long-term preservation on grounds of their enduring cultural, historical, or evidentiary value. Archival records are normally unpublished and almost always unique, unlike books or magazines for which many identical copies exist. This means that archives (the places) are quite distinct from libraries with regard to their functions and organization, although archival collections can often be found within library buildings
A person who works in archives is called an archivist. The study and practice of organizing, preserving, and providing access to information and materials in archives is called archival science. The physical place of storage is sometimes referred to as an archive repository.
To delete files folders or individual assests in the current incarnation of adobe creative cloud brouser/web portal rev:130626
1 - Check mark the box on left and select files or folders you would like Deleted/Trashed and move them to the ARCHIVE folder location inside your adobe creative cloud brouser/web portal....Then navigate to the ARCHIVE SECTION
2 - Once the files or folders you have check marked are moved to the ARCHIVE folder location you can select them for Permanant Deletion (Trash)
ps: you can also restore them......if you so choose....
3 - in case you missed this step after selecting/checking the files or folders in the ARCHIVE folder there is a small Triangle Selector drop down that will reviel the Permanently Delete option.... clicking that is the point of no return i think..... so do not be misled my the use of the term ARCHIVE.... DELETING PERMANANTLY IS DELETING YO!
4 - OK DONE NOW YOU GOT IT .....

No full screen option for streaming video podcasts??

Why does Apple have to make things so difficult at times for something that should be so obvious and straightforward? Anyone know how to view streaming video podcasts in full screen?

Turning off the TV safe area is to prevent parts of the images from being lost, which is not the issue here. The problem I'm having is that there there are black bars around the entire displayed image. I believe this is called windowboxing. Letterboxing has black bars at top and bottom of screen, pillarboxing has the black bars at the left and right of screen. It's all to do with the ratio of the photographs.
My photos were all taken with a digital camera and are 4:3 ratio. I want the images to display FULL SCREEN. They are not doing this - not on a TV monitor - and not on a computer monitor!!! Is windowboxing hard-wired into the iDVD themes? This can't be right. PLEASE HELP!!!

No FULL SCREEN option for slideshow photos?

When creating a new project in iDVD, there only seems to be two screen size options: 4:3 ratio or 16:9 ratio. Is there not some way of selecting FULL SCREEN? As all my digital photographs are 4:3 ratio, that is what I selected.... but there are big chunks of black screen all around all my slideshow photos in the finished iDVD. Very annoying!!!!

I am trying to set up icloud and it says I must have 5.0 on my device bt the itouch does not have the software update option shown it the directions on the apple website.

Connect to your syncing computer and start iTunes. From the summary screen, check for updates. If you have a 2nd generation iPod, it can not be upgraded beyond 4.2.1.

I do not have a snooze option for my alarm clock

I need some recommendations. I am running ios 7.0.4 on the iPhone 5. I recently noticed that when I set an alarm for my clock that I do not have the ability to snooze. I completed a soft reset and closed out any running apps but still no luck.

I double checked, and yes, I have a slider next to each alarm. I accidentally turned it off. Thanks for the recommendation!

Safari and Chrome will not display some pages right for new user account

Not sure this is a Safari issue actually. Behavior is also in Chrome, but not Firefox. If I need to post elsewhere please advise.
24"imac running 10.5.8. 2gb ram, software update run,
Setup a new user account. Machine will have 2 users.
When I login as the new user, in both Safari and Chrome, some pages - google, ebay, amazon, cnn, yahoo, do not display correctly. Mainly empty space, a few graphics all wrong. They do display correctly in Firefox.
I assumed it was the user. So I added a 3rd user. Same behavior. Tried giving the new user admin rights. Same problem.
For the admin account, everything's fine on those pages, both in Safari and Chrome.
It feels like the new user is not getting access to something it needs, but it also feels like more than a font problem. Thanks for any suggestions. Dan

Thanks for your thoughts. Here's what I've learned. The browsers display correctly for the new user after SafeBoot. I removed all startup items, to no avail. Removed all fonts from the new user account, nothing. Removed all fonts from the admin user's library, nothing. Then I removed all fonts from the HD library, and that fixed it for the new user. Now I just have to figure out which one it was.
So in summary, a bad font in the HD library was affecting Safari and Chrome (but not Firefox) in new user accounts, but not in the admin user's account. Nice. D

Do not have "Always Allow" option for for the PubSub agent

Some users seem to have this option - when the pubsub agent keeps popping up:
Click "Always Allow" for the PubSub Agent.
Other does not. Why is that? Can I do something to get the "always" option?

PubSub agent does not seem to be an issue after 10.5.5

NO FULL-SCREEN CAPABILITY USING SAFARI IN LION OS X!!

The Full-Screen button on the top right corner of my Sarai is missing!! Other apps including iPhoto, iCal, Email etc. have it and it works fine, BUT it isn't showing up in my Safari window and so I cant use the full-screen function for the web

ALSO they need an iTunes full screen capability so we can skim over to our music without it being in a pile with all the safari windows. Agreed?

Hmm thats interesting. I checked and i dont seem to have the most current version for safari, i have 5.0.5 but when i got to check up dates it says i am up to date!! iTunes is updated but i still dont have a full screen option for that nor have i heard u can full screen your iTunes...

Full screen picture for contacts

I have recently upgrade to the iphone 5. I use MS Exchange to sync contacts and email. I want to have full screen picture for caller ID but it only gives me a thumbnail. Any suggestions to get full screen picture for caller ID?

It used to be that if you assigned the picture while on the phone, it was full screen. I remember reading around iOS 5 I believe that it only allowed for full screen, but I still have a couple that are only thumbnails that have been synced over from contacts in LinkedIn. Try assigning the picture from the phone itself and see if that changes it.

When you say you do not have the setup option for Family Sharing, that seems like you log into the iCloud System Preference but the "Set Up Family" button is not there.
Is your Mac updated to Yosemite?
Family Sharing - Apple Support
iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite are required to set up or join a Family Sharing group and are recommended for full functionality.
Where in the setup are the options not available or working?

Right, like I'm trying to say, THERE IS NO SAFARI MENU bar. Example: I have multiple applications open, I click on a Photoshop window, the correct menu or title bar or whatever changes. Every other application window I click on brings up the correct "whatever" bar. If I click on the desktop, the "Finder Bar" shows up.
Everythiing else, BUT SAFARI, works the same way since OS X came out. This is ridiculous.
I'm getting the vibe that Apple is trying to get rid of the finder.... this is the way wrong direction.

I don't remember those arrows in 10.6, only 10.7 & up!?
I have 10.6.8, as you do. To make your Safari full screen, make sure you have the left hand side of your safari page moved all the way to the left. Then move your cursor to the BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER of the safari page, and simply drag your page towards the lower right hand corner of the screen. NOTE: you will see a series of lines on the bottom right corner of the page, indicating where to place you cursor arrow.
