OSX - Menubar icon

It is possible to do this with adobe air?
I really need this functionality.

My OSX and Windows app descriptor contains this icon section and it works for me:

If you click on the menubar icon, and hover over the network you're connected to, a submenu will pop up, one item of which is the "show time connected" option. It's checked, so just pick it again and the time will disappear

Timemachine menubar icon greyed out

I'm not sure when it happened but I can no longer enter Timemachine, either via the menubar icon which is greyed out or via the Dock app.
It backs up fine but I cannot access the backups via the 'starwars' interface.
OSX 10.7.2, MacPro 12-core, TM on its own internal 2TB Samsung HD.
Tried premissions repair and Repair the TM disk, no dice.

Editing iChat status menu doesn't show in menubar icon

Instead of having various status menu options ("surfing the web", "at home", "out to lunch", "in a meeting:", etc.) I prefer to edit the list down to just "available" and "away"
When I edit the status menu from the buddy list drop down (by deleting the other options) my changes are reflected in the buddy list. However, the menubar icon still shows all of the preset options "surfing the web" etc.
Does anyone else notice this? Is this expected behaviour?

I later went into my com.apple.iChat.plist file and found two variables - "CustomAvailableMessages" and "CustomAwayMessages". After deleting all but the first blank line, they went away. (Make sure you make a backup!)
I also deleted them from com.apple.iChat.StatusMessages.plist file.
It was tricky, but I finally managed to get it so I only have available and away (in addition to the current iTunes song) as away messages in my menu bar. After I deleted the above, I had to go in and delete my custom edited away/available messages in the buddy list menu.
MAKE SURE YOU MAKE A BACKUP OF THOSE FILES BEFORE YOU TINKER WITH THEM. You can use TextEdit I believe, but I use PlistEditPro to edit them.

Uinstalling MenuBar Icons software ?

I am new Macbook Pro user. I have just downloaded MenuBar Icons software from google. I have only changed the battery menu bar icon. But now i want to revert it to original form. I am unable to uninstall MenuBar Icons software as it is neither showing in system preferences nor there is any option of uninstalling in installer window.
So plz help me to revert the original battery menu bar icon and also to uninstall the MenuBar Icons software throughly........

I see. Please allow me to explain something. You need to decide whether your Mac is a tool for getting work done, or just a toy. If it's just a toy, you can do whatever you want with it. If it's a tool, or sometimes a tool and sometimes a toy, then you need to be careful about what you do. One of the things involved in being careful is not typing your administrator password unless you have a very good reason to do so.
A good reason would be installing a system update from Apple, or making a necessary change in your network settings.
A bad reason would be that you downloaded some random piece of trash from a website with the word "deviant" in the name. Another bad reason would be that you're installing third-party software that you don't know how to uninstall. Those are examples of not being careful.
Not being careful will cause you to have problems with your Mac that you won't be able to solve easily, if at all. It may cause you to lose data, or to be victimized by criminals. The latter has happened to quite a few Mac users lately.
That's why it's a lot better to be careful than not to be careful.
Before you type your password when prompted by an installer or a third-party application, ask yourself these questions:
Do I know exactly what's going to happen?
Do I know how to undo it?
Am I sure I can trust the source of this software?
Am I sure I know how to solve any problems this action might cause?
If the answer to any one of those questions is "No," then STOP. Click Cancel, drag whatever it is to the Trash, and empty.
The page you linked to states quite clearly that there is no uninstaller. That alone should have stopped you from going any further, not to mention about half-a-dozen other red flags.
To undo the damage to your system, you're going to have to reinstall it by following the instructions linked below. Back up all data first. After reinstalling, run Software Update.

Yosemite System menubar icons stuck in Dark Mode?

After a restart, all of my System menubar icons and some my application menubar icons are stuck in dark mode? All of the OS X System icons are stuck! I don't use dark mode, never have. I have no idea how this happened. Just another Yosemite cluster, I guess. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Option Click on the Volume menubar icon doesn't display ALL airplay devices, just the last one used. I've seen other peoples display all their devices. Why can't I?

I've discovered that those screenshots where you see more than one speaker listed in the menubar icon are actually bluetooth devices, not airplay. When you check the shot of the system preferences pane and see them all listed there too, the Type says Bluetooth. Not sure why bluetooth gets them all listed and apple's own airplay standard does not. Hope a developer writes a mac app to do it!

Blinking Menubar Icons with iSync on

Hello!
Since today, every time I start iSync and turn on the "Show Menubar Icon" option, all icons in the menubar diasappear and appear again in a neverending matter. I already erased the ~/Library/Preferences folder, but the problem is still present.
Does anyone have an idea?

Some menubar icons White, some Black

So, I have a new MBP today and at start up for the first time used my latest time machine back up from my iMac.
After time machine had finshed and I launched for the first time, my left hand side menubar items are black (apple logo, finder, file, edit, etc) and my right hand side menubar items are white (battery, time, date, etc).
I have also installed a few app's that have a menubar icon on the right hand side (Bartender & Alfred) which are both bl

Menubar icons missing (OSX Mavericks)

I just recently upgraded to Mavericks, and since then i've been seeing problems arise from my menu bar, such as my spotlight not appearing, but now I have an even bigger problem. I've only got 4 menu bar icons left, everything else is blank.
Please help (photo attached below)

This solved my problem
1. Open 'Terminal';
2. Copy this text (without comas): '' mv ~/L*/Application\ Support/Dock/*.db ~/Desktop ";
3. Press Enter; (Screen will flash and icons, dock & finder will disappear for some seconds! In the end, everything will appear on screen!
4. Restar computer;
5. Immediately after turning it on, press AT THE SAME TIME: Command + ALT + P+ R
6. The screen will flash & you'll hear the booting sound again! Then you can let go teh keyboard.

ITunes 10.4 menubar/icons error on OS Lion

My iTunes 10.4 looks weird. I upgraded to 10.4 just today and everything works perfect. I even loaded apps and stuffs on my iPhone. It works. The thing is with the looks.
* My volume bar does not display full bar. (although it works perfect)... it looks weird.
* There is no Full Screen button on the top right corner. I believe there should be one.
* The minimize, maximize and close buttons are missing.
* And the icons are weird. For eg: Look at the apps, genius, etc
Any solution for this. I have attached screen shot. Please help....
I think this happened after i installed Silent Night Black Theme. I didn't realize the Silent Night theme was for Snow Leopard. I am on Lion so maybe the itunes menubar became this way. I deleted the silent night theme but the menu bar still have some glitches.

I just successfully deployed all three FDS web applications
on Tomcat 5.5.17 with Sun 1.5.0_06 without any exceptions. From the
stack trace it looks like this is thrown at startup. Can you
confirm?

Please organize osx launchpad icons in CS6 collection(there are too many adobe icons)

Adobe applications create too many icons in launchpad on osx. Is there a way to automate organising them in a more elegant fashion? Launchpad gets full of red adobe icons(2 pages of them) especially if you have master collection installed. Please put them all in one folder or something.

Thanks for your input here. We will look into it to see if there is an improvement we can make in the future.

Change the menubar icon of Shazam (mac)

As you can see in the image above, the Shazam icon is in colors and bigger than the other icons, where can I change this icon?
I have already tried Shazam > show package contents > Contents > Recourses. But the only two images within there are not used in the menubar.
