OSX Messages Not Showing "My" Contact Pics
But My contacts app can showing my contact pics.
So I send the messages to "My"
1. Messages Automatic change @me.com and @icloud.com
2. @me.com can't Showing "My" Contact Pics
3. @icloud.com can Showing "My" Contact Pics
4. But My Right Contact Pics, always can't showing "My" Contact Pics.

Messages isn't using the picture from the contacts app. You can set a user picture under "Messages" > "Change My Picture".

Just going to jump right to it, let me get the picture painted
windows 7 x32 office 2010 (also tested on office 2013
shared contact book from a networked pc
I open the fax and scan click to and/or contact buttons the shared contacts show up just fine
setup and activate an email account Imap/POP
repeat the process and only the outlook contacts show up
remove the email profile and the contact are back
all pc are domained
i have 5 other pc that don't have this issues
4 win7 x64 offices 2013
1 win7 x32 office 2013 (hosting the address contacts)
From what I can find most are having the opposite outcome that the outlook contacts are not showing up.

As per the description, I understand that a shared contact book cannot show in Windows Fax and Scan. There is not so much we can do on Office side, I'd suggest you check on Windows client side.

Previous Photos In Messages Not Showing (Blue Question Mark)
iPhone 4s, updated to iOS 8.1.1, and now previous photos in messages (imessage & text) show as blue question mark.
Not viewable in details (view) either. However any new photos sent or received are viewable. PLEASE HELP!!!
(MMS is turned on & over 5GB of free space on phone)

I have the same issue. Does anybody know how to fix it?
It is really annoying... I chose iphone to be ensure about functionality and stability of this product.

Not sure if this is a fix, but I tried sending myself a test email from only the Bcc field, and lo and behold it now shows the Bcc field in all sent item previews;
...maybe leaving the 'To' field blank on purpose forced Mail to show it.
Rebooted the Mail program, still there - rebooted the machine, still there. Hope this is still relevant and it works for you too - J.

Movies are not eligable for iTunes match, it s just music and music video, the 'add to iClouyd' option is a generic entry in the list, Apple should really have removed it when it applies to movies.

Using iPhone 4S with iOS8. When I touch Details in a message, it does not show the Add Contact, and does not allow to change the name of a group.
Is this down to it being on the 4S?

iChat and Messages can Display the pics that are in the Contacts/Address book list.
If you have Chat window is open in iChat then the View Menu Show Buddy Pics is the first port of call.
For Messages and iChat the next is the View Menu > Messages > Show Buddy Pics and Names.
The Show Pics and Names items also works for Buddy list in either app.
For AIM Buddies this will tend to be the On Line broadcast pic of the moment.
It can the pic in the Card in the Contacts List (Or Address Book)
In the case of your Own Pic this in fact can have been called from System Preferences > User and Groups (formerly Accounts) .
All of them can be changed individually, so for yourself in the Mac Account pic, the Contacts > My Card and Messages Buddy Pic can have different pics set to them.
I don't have a Facebook Account so I can't say if the Contact's pulling of Pics is what is causing them not to show in Messages.
I suspect the general option to display them is not On.

Contact card in mac messages not showing picture

One of my contacts in Messages on Yosemite just shows the initials instead of their contact picture.
When I click on the name in the right pane in Messages, I can select "Show Contact Card".
The Contact Card also shows the initials in place of the contact image.
In the contact card, I click Open With Contacts.
The Contacts app opens and shows me the user's address book card, which shows the contact has a picture assigned.
The user in Messages is referred to by their email address *****@aol.com.
The email address and phone number for this user do not have duplicate entries in my contacts.
Other users do not have this issue.

The user had more than one instance of the same email. Apparently that confused Messages. When I removed one of them, the image showed just fine as expected.

My message app is not showing the contact names

My Iphone 4 message app isn't showing the contact's names ! It came out of the blue, i didn't turn it off or anything, and the contacts are still in the phone, but all I can see in the Message app are the numbers ?
What can I do ? (did turn it off just but it didn't work)

Check contacts, and then 'groups' in the upper left corner and make sure everything in there is check marked.
If they still don't appear, you can try to re sync the contacts from the source (iCloud, gmail, etc.) by going into your settings and toggling contacts off and back on.

Messages not showing avatars

Since updating to Yosemite, Messages isn't showing my buddies' avatars in the chat window, even though they are there in the buddy list. It's just showing the gray circle silhouette for every person.
It happened to all of my coworkers as well, but theirs eventually came back, or showed the initials of the person. Mine isn't though, and we upgraded the day after it came out.
I'd like to be able to collapse that panel so only the avatar (or initials) are showing, but that doesn't work when everyone is a gray circle.

Hummm.
Ok the Buddy List will show the Buddy Pic that is currently "pushed" from the Buddies end or that which is saved on their server for web Browser login.
iChat used to use this and display it in the Chat window.
It also stores them in ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Messages/Pictures
Now the Yosemite install overrides the Buddy Pic you have chosen in favour or the Contacts App > My Card for your iMessages conversations.
That can lead to this:-
I have an Apple ID in iMessages that is not linked to an Address Card so it uses the initial characters from First name and Last name.
As your incoming chats/conversations should be using the Contacts App Address Cards do these have Pics for those people.
The My Card for myself no longer picks up on the AIM Buddy pic that is has always used.
Checking many other "Buddies who I have not spoken to in a which seems to have lost their Pics which came form Buddy Lists.
For example
You used to get the option to "use this Pic" for the Address Card when opening it from iChat and early Messages versions.
I have not see that option whilst screen grabbing these pics.

Messages not showing in coversation window

I have just sent a new message but the message after i clicked send didnt show up in the conversation window, i now also think i have a reply as the time next to the contact name has change like it normally does when you recieve a new text but that message is not showing up either its just a blank screen. Can anyone help me with this

Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)

Messages not showing on mac

I have my messages/imessage enabled to sync between all 3 of my devices. All of a sudden messages from one person are not showing on my mac. They still sync between my phone and ipad, but not the mac. They had been there up until the middle of last month. Other messages between other people are still showing and syncing between all 3 devices. I know we are all using iphones and ipads, so why would they stop syncing in one spot with only one person? Can any one help?

The .bag one holds the Server info that the app should be contacting for the iMessages account.
The .imservice ones holds the details that you entered such as the Apple ID and the "registered" aliases such as the iPhone Number and any other linked email addresses.
Although I have not deleted my iMessages account and cleared the .plist to try and find out at which point in the "registration" process they are created I would have though the Server one would have been created first so that the details you enter are sent to the server.
However it is possible that the account details are "stored" first and then the server is contacted.
There have been other threads (well, one that I recall) about this losing of "Names" and showing only iPhone numbers but it has not been resolved yet (or at least the person has not come back to say one way or the other)
In iChat when there have been issues with details that should be in the Address Book it has been found that the My Card (Head and Shoulder icon) has not been the card for the Mac User account (Not your details).
This has stopped the AIM side in particular from Logging in (the AIM one tends to be loaded first so any issue shows this) as the missing details are needed to fill in the header bar of any Buddy list (where it shows your name or "handle").
In this case I am not expecting the issue to be tied to the Contacts app but it would be worth ruling it out.
The next palce to check is the View Menu > Buddy Names when the main Messages Window is "Front" (the interface and chat window).
This menu item offers ways to display the Names of your Buddies (normally) from AIM and Jabber lists as it is a setting that have been present for a long time in iChat.
The "Handle" option would normally be the AIM Screen Name or Jabber ID but it also effects the iMessages connections and displays the Apple IDs and numbers.
It is used in conjunction with the View Menu > Messages > Show Pictures and Names
However from your phraseology in your first post I believe you are seeing phone numbers only when you start a New Message and use the Blue icon to see the Contacts List ?
The Show Handles option does not effect the Contacts Drop down only the Buddies one.
DO you have problems with Mail in auto-completing Address when Sending ?
Or do you have problems when displaying Names from people you have in the Contacts list ?
For example my Mail shows one of my email associated with an Address Card for one of my other computers (it helps with Bonjour in iChat and Messages)
I am suggesting that the Mail app might also be displaying numbers only.

Messages not showing senders message.

I recently migrated over to a new mac mini from time machine and I noticed that my messages now has a weird bug. It will show all the messages I type to someone but it will not show what they type back. I can see what the other person types back on my ipad mini and iphone 5 but not on my mac mini.
I have removed all preferences and files related to imessage. I have also reinstalled 10.8.2 fresh.
Has anyone else seen this?
I looked in the settings in messages and it does say my phone number and apple ID is selected. It also says to start a conversation as my phone number.
When I logged into messages to add my account it did alert me on my iphone that my Mac mini will be using my apple ID and phone number in messages, however on my ipad it only showed that my mac mini will be using my apple ID.
Here is a pic of my conversation but there is no reply even though i see the reply on my phone and iPad. It looks like im talking to myself

I have seen that with an AIM login.
Mostly it takes two Computer each with the same Screen Name logged in.
If you accept or open the chat on bothe computers one end will tend to show only one side of the conversation.
However this is different as the iMessages service is supposed to sync (Display) all iMessages across all devices.
If the Apple ID and the iPhone Number are listed on all devices as Send and Receive then that should be all that is needed.
From time to time we have seen glitches with the iMessages server.
I think it is also fair to say that the Mac Version does not seem to sync as fast as the iOS Devices do.
On top of that if anywhere is going to show Messages out of order then it tends to be the Mac version particularly if it has been Shut down or Off line in Messages.
New iMessages can be inserted as the app catches up with an ongoing chat they probably started on an iPhone and appear out of order.
I have no idea on how to fix this - particularly if you have deleted com.apple.imservice.iMessages.plist and com.apple.imessages.bag.plist AND restarted the Messages app already.

Messages not showing in Gmail (without ABP installed)

I'm using FF 8.0.1. Just had a clean install. Problem is, when i go to gmail, I can't view my messages, the messages pane is not showing. I'm aware of the ABP bug, but i don't have it installed, so i think it's a different issue. Anyone has any ideas?
Tried loading without extensions, deleting all my cache and cookies and creating a new profile. Still doesn't work.

I was experiencing the same problem and found that it was related to some changes I had made recently to the default fonts and colors that Firefox uses. Resetting them back to what they were previously resolved the issue for me.

Nested Container Message Not showing up in BPM

Hi,
when I try to open the container of my BPM process and check the individual request and response message I am unable to see the nested message inside the container. Any ideas why would they not show up in SXMB_MONI? Also this worked before and my sync logging is set to 1 in ADM.

Hi Ashish,
Your XI's trace level has to be set to 3 to be able to see all the messages ijn your SXMB_MONI. To do this , you need to have the admin access to your XI server. I think michals weblog provided by chandra can help you to do the same.
