OSX Mountain Lion "Messages" will not let me sign in...

I cannot for the life of me get messages to work on the new OSX mountain lion. I keep getting this alert when trying to sign in:
"COULD NOT SIGN INTO iMESSAGE. The server encountered an error processing registration. Please try again later."
Any ideas? I have restarted both my macbook and macpro, reset my apple ID password... no love.

I have spent over 40 hour walking through this issue with Apple senior tier engineering support with Apple for Mountain Lion and Developer support, plus the Apple store genius bar and their high level connection, Getting no where trying to resolve same issue it seems. The only thing I can get to work is AIM to video chat or share screens. Messages accounts have added 5 other account .mac accounts and I can not sign into any of them or remove any of them either. Over time I have had a .mac address that was made into a mobile me address that was then converted into a .mac email again and became a cloud account. And I have a developer account that has a separate name that works with iTunes connect. When I try to manage accounts to change the password of one it corrupts the the password of the other. When I try the change emails of one it says it is in use by the other.
There are 2 accounts for the iTunes and App Store.
Messages is choking on my 2 accounts and there is a definite unresolved problem with the cloud in regard to them it seems.

Good question. That's the main way it's supposed to be installed. You shouldn't even need to choose a partition. You purchase Mountain Lion through the App Store, it downloads to the Applications folder and automatically begins the installation on the drive where Lion or Snow Leopard resides as soon as the download is complete.

My messages will not let me sign in to my account

Every time i click on messages it says please sign in which i do then it comes up saying this is how others will see you on messages then i click next it says at the top verifying... And after about 15-20 seconds it takes me back to the beginning again yet about 5 days ago it was working fine .

Sign out of the Messages app, restart your iPad and then try again, you will have to sign in again in the Messages App.
If that doesn't work, try resetting all settings. You will have to enter all of your app and device preferences again in the settings app, but resetting the settings reverts the iPad to factory status with regard to all settings and it just might help by starting all over again.
Settings>General>Reset>Reset all Settings.

Have you tried:
Turn FaceTime or iMessage off and then back on in Settings.
Launch Settings by tapping the icon on the Home screen
Scroll down to Messages or FaceTime
Toggle the switch from on (green) to off (white)
Wait a minute
Toggle the switch back to on (green)
Wait for it to re-activate
Hard reboot your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad
Make sure you're on Wi-Fi
Hold down both the Home button on the front, and the Sleep/Wake button on the top of your device
Wait for the Apple logo to appear
If it still doesn't work, repeat step 1 (turning FaceTime or iMessage off and on)
Reset network settings
Launch Settings by tapping on the icon on the Home screen
Tap on General
Scroll all the way to the bottom and tap on Reset
Tap on Reset Network Settings
If it still doesn't work, repeat step 1, then step 2, above (Turning FaceTime or iMessage off and one, rebooting).

My ipod will not let me sign in to imessage. when I use my apple id and password it sends a message to check the network settings. All my network settings are correct.

- Go to Settings>General>Date&Time and make sure it is set to Automatic
- Go to Settings>wifi>the connected network and change the DNS to Google's 8.8.8.8

I have the same problem... but when i connect my MacBook Pro late 2009 on my cousin internet the facebook page works normaly. but when i reconnect in my wifi it stops to work again... and it only hapens with macbook pro, On my iPad, iPhone and PC the facebook page works properly. And another thing, when my counsins bring their Macbooks to my network, it stops to enter on facebook too... I already reset my router config everything and facebook dont work with anything with mountain lion... My router is a linksys wag200n and the problem started when i install mountain lion. I had to reformat my early 2008 MacBook and have now lost Pages/Keynote/Numbers. I tried to repurchase only my OS is incompatible and Mountain Lion OS will not run on my MacBook. Really annoyed as MacBook is in good condition but now useless to me.

Mountain Lion Network will not connect

Mountain Lion Network will not connect to adobe.com on my WiFi network.
While my iPad and iPhone will connect using my WiFi network.
I have tried to connect using 8 different browsers that I have and get the same results.

Please follow the below steps to remove the error message of "You have been signed out".
          1: Open Activity monitor from spotlight and end all Adobe related processes. You may find processes like AAMupdater, AAMupdater notifier, Adobe Crash demon process.
          2: Open a Finder window, select Go>Go to folder option, type in ~/Library and hit enter.
                         (Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE)
          3: Now navigate to Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/.. folder.
          4: Delete opm file under OOBE.
          5: Rename OOBE to OOBEold.
          6: Check if you have AAMupdater in the same location.
          7: Please rename it to AAMupdaterold.
          8: Click on gear icon on Creative Cloud desktop app and choose Quit Creative Cloud.
          9: Then launch it, sign-in and click on Apps tab.
The error message will be removed.

Same thing for me. I'm getting an error message that states "The server encountered an error processing registration. Please try again later." I've been trying for the last two hours, off and on, and keep getting the message. I've re-started FaceTime as well as re-strated my MacBook. This is just after changing my AppleID password - both iTunes and my Apple account are fine with signing in using the new password.

Since I installed Leopard, I also get the same -9844 error message any time I try to do anything in the iTunes Music Store. I've installed iTunes 7.5 and that doesn't fix the problem for me.
Strangely enough I was able to download two free singles of the week on the iTunes Store but that's the only success I've achieved. I hope Apple fixes this problem soon.

ive tried a hundred times... customer support failed us as well... i have full wifi, everything else works, safari,email,etc. but as soon as i go to setttings & either imess or facetime, same respoce... - For the other problem you can try a reset. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- The next standard thing to do is to download/install a new app but you cant 'do that.
- Instead, try restoring from backup.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Go to the 'Go' menu in the Finder and hold down the option key to reveal the Library. Then navigate to library > preferences > system configuration and drag the 'Networkinterfaces.plist' file to the trash and restart for mac. Now try again.
