[OT]Adsense.

Hola, a ver si a alguien más le ha pasado. Tengo en mi
blog un bloque de
anuncios de adsense más el buscador. Pues bien, de la
noche a la mañana, el
bloque de anuncios no se ve, aunque sí está su
espacio. Que yo sepa no he
incurrido en ninguna de las acciones que google considera
prohibidas, y al
comunicarme con ellos, me dicen que el código de los
anuncios no puede estar
en la misma línea que el de la búsqueda. Vale, pero
si no he tocado nada y
se ha puesto en blanco solo? Además, he probado a
ponerlos en otro lugar y
pasa lo mismo.
Alguna idea?

Saludos!

Gracias, Lucas.

  • I have an active adsense account but ads do not show up on my website

The content seems to be empty. I am not sure how to fix this. I have had the adsense account since 2008 and nver had a problem before. thanks!

    I have the same problem. I like Roddy's reply - "
The adsense widget doesn't work now that MobileMe has shut down.
You need to go to Google, get the code and paste it into an iWeb Snippet."
However, when I go to google and follow their steps <https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/181956?hl=en&ref_topic=28897>
The Code I get when I click on "Get and copy the Ad Code" doesn't work right.  Here is what I get  pasted in, and when I go to insert html the resulting space is enlarged enormously - Please help!

What is the correct code to replace the Google Adsense Widget which USED to work beautifully? I want to stay with the "live ad" sizes already on my webpage but which are now blank on publication.
I apologize if I am asking stupid questions, but I really can't figure this out. Can you give me step by step? and IS that the correct code?

    IS that the correct code?

The code you pasted are two divs. Widget1 and widget2.
So you have two adsense pieces on your page.
The Google page shows a JavaScript.
    Copy your own code there.
Paste each Javascript piece of code between each div
    <div widget1>YOUR JAVASCRIPT</div>
    <div widget2>YOUR JAVASCRIPT</div>
A HTML snippet probably does not work because the javascript needs the content of the webpage.
So you have to add the code in the published page as described.
You asked this question before. Apparently nobody knows or cares about adsense.

  • Google adsense ads no longer appear after latest update

    Hello,
I just recently did quite a few updates through updater and now all my Google Adsense Ads disappeared. Well, they are still there, but solid blocks of color with no text. Other than the update, I didn't do anything else besides add some text to the pages. They worked fine beforehand.
If I delete them and re-add them, I get the same results. I waited over 24 hours to see if they would appear and they didn't. I emailed Google, with a generic form letter in return that didn't address the issue.
I'm hoping that the smart people on here maybe have experienced this and know what's going on. Thank you for any help you can provide!

  • Having serious problems with Google Adsense and iWeb

Ok, I'm totally ignorant when it comes to web work. I can direct friggin' movies but this web stuff, forget it.
However, I am playing around with a video podcast and would like to try and do the website myself. But I can't seem to have any luck setting up Google's adsense on the site. I've followed the steps in the following link...
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=399399&tstart=0
...and the results are not good.
One thing, since I'm no longer using my .mac account to host (can't use ads on there?) I am hosting the site through powweb. I don't know if that has anything to do with why it's acting like this.
My web address is offthestriplv.com. If anyone could check out the site and shed a little light on why it's so messed up, I'd greatly appreciate it.
    Thanks for your time everybody.

    wolfwill23
There are several problems. The code is showing, and also the positioning is off.
To exactly position where you want the ad to go, you need to position the text box of the exact same dimensions as the completed ad (or slightly larger to be on the safe side) exactly where you want it on the page.
Then type some text in the box. When you've published, you need to replace the text you've typed with the code. You obviously managed it once with the centre strip of google ads, but the top and bottom ones, it seems you've just pasted the code into the iWeb page. You can't just paste code into an iWeb page, only after publishing.
Another reason for the code showing is that you've not replaced the text properly and missed out some tags, so when the browser comes to render the page, it's treating it like text.
    Hope that helps

  • Integrate Google Adsense in Adobe Web Photo Gallery

    Hi,
Is there a way to integrate my Google Adsense account into the webpage created by Adobe Bridge Web Photo Gallery?
    Thanks,
    Albert

that's between you, your anti-virus and your web server. You'll probably have to copy all the files from the server to your computer and scan them (though the anti-virus should pick up the viruses when you copy the files, it's best to also manually scan them). After you found out which files are infected, delete them from the server. Can't give you specifics because each anti-virus and server is differently set up.

  • Google AdSense settings in iWEB site

    Hi all,
I developed a site using iWeb and I added some AdSense box into it. I have to issue: the first one is that not all the AdSense boxes are avilable in iWeb and the secondo one, that is more important for me, is that If I add ad AdSense box from iWeb I can't manage it from adSense account. For example: if I would like to force the language to italian I can't do it. Are there some workaround to manage the AdSense ADV from AdSense account, like the ADV generated directly from AdSense? Many thanks if you can help me!

What I've done on my page is put a mixture of the two:
Adsense generated from iWeb, (top) and adsense
that I created at Google Adsense and pasted the
code into the html snippets. ( bottom)
    I control the html
snippet ones at the Google Adsense page
on my Google account, and the others
simply change based upon what I post on the site or the blog.

  • Adsense not showing up on my live website

    Hi,
ive just launched my website www.thefrig.co.uk its supposed to have ads at the bottom of each page. Its there on iweb but not on the live site. Why is it not working? anyone know how to fix it?
    thanks

The first link is with www, the other link is without www.
This is the URL that your adsense uses (open the Activity Window in Safari to see it) :
    http://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/ads?client=ca-pub-6366925187067689&for mat=468x60_as&output=html&h=60&w=468&lmt=1338405653&host=pub-7346437665580033&ad _type=text&color_bg=FFFFFF&color_border=33699C&color_link=0020FF&color_text=0000 00&color_url=239A00&flash=11.2.202&url=http%3A%2F%2Fthefrig.co.uk%2FThe_Frig%2FH ome.html&dt=1338412853228&bpp=7&shv=r20120523&jsv=r20110914&correlator=133841285 3359&frm=20&adk=2017175915&ga_vid=544364368.1338412853&ga_sid=1338412853&ga_hid= 433887898&ga_fc=0&u_tz=120&u_his=1&u_java=0&u_h=1200&u_w=1920&u_ah=1174&u_aw=192 0&u_cd=24&u_nplug=18&u_nmime=130&dff=lucida%20grande&dfs=13&adx=278&ady=945&biw= 1024&bih=1064&oid=3&fu=0&ifi=1&dtd=210&xpc=sS01WH6EYB&p=http%3A//thefrig.co.uk
    It displays a blank page.
Perhaps Adsense is changed and you may need other code.
Go where you manage Adsense and find the code that works. Use the HTML Snippet instead to display it.

  • How to put adsense in iphone app?

    hi
Please tell me about How to put adsense in iphone application
    please send me sample code

    From Pages help:
    Adding Accent Marks
You can use the Keyboard Viewer to add accent marks to characters. The Keyboard Viewer shows the characters for the keyboard layout or input method selected in the Input menu. For example, if U.S. is chosen in the Input menu, you see the characters that appear on a U.S. keyboard in the Keyboard Viewer.
    To add accent marks:
Choose Show Keyboard Viewer from the Input menu on the right side of the menu bar.The Input menu appears on the right side of your menu bar and looks like a flag or character. If you don't see the Input menu, go to Viewing Keyboard Layouts for Other Languages for instructions on viewing the Input menu.
Press Shift, Option, or Option-Shift to highlight the available accent marks in the Keyboard Viewer. The accent mark keys are highlighted. Depending on your keyboard, you may not need to press any of the modifier keys to see the accent keys.
Place the insertion point in your document where you want to type.
Press the modifier key you pressed in step 2 (Shift, Option, Option-Shift, or none) and then press the key on your keyboard that is in the same place as the accent you see in the Keyboard Viewer.
Release the modifier key, and then press the key for the character you want to accent. For example, on a U.S. keyboard, to make é appear, press Option and E (the accent key), and then press E (the letter on which you want that accent to appear).

  • My Adsense Ads do not show on Wordpress Blog Sidebar. All that shows is a blank box. The Adsense ads show just fine in Internet Explorer. What is wrong here?

Adsense Ads are not showing up on my WordPress Blog Sidebar. The same ads are showing on Internet Explorer, but not on my Firefox Browser. What is wrong here?
    http://www.BuyBeadsOnlineBestChoice.com

Actually, my AdSense is set up to work differently on the actual blog post pages. If you look at this link
    [http://mytruckalogue.blogspot.com/2012/03/going-back-to-work-for-marten_20.html http://mytruckalogue.blogspot.com/2012/03/going-back-to-work-for-marten_20.html]
    there should be
1.) a 300x250 block of yellow text ads just under the the post title
2.) a 300x250 block of yellow text or image ads at the top of the sidebar, and
3.) a 300x250 block of template color text or image ads just under the Blog Archive.
Incidentally, I can't see my blog at all at this moment because my company has disallowed viewing personal websites and blogs on their wifi. REAL bummer! Sitting in my truck waiting for dispatch and can 't work on my blog :-(
But I'd be grateful to know if anyone else can see these ads - I can, at least, view this website.
    Thanks much :-)

  • Adsense not showing in Mozilla Firefox

    Dear Folks,
I've noticed that some pages on my website/blog do not display Google Adsense, and nothing can be seen where the ads are placed when I'm using Firefox. I have the latest version of the browser.
I've tested the same webpages using Internet Explorer 8 and all of the ads are well seen. I know that other people are facing this problem, too.
Can you help, please? My website/blog is: http://www.plafstudies.com/
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FRONT PAGE IS ALWAYS OK TO SEE THE ADS. THE ISSUE ONLY OCCURS WHEN I CLICK ON THE OLDER POST LINKS.
UPDATE: Just noticed that the issue often occurs but not always. I wonder why.
Thanks a lot for your time and assistance.
    Have a good day,
    Paulo Franca.

Well disabling AddBlockPlus did the job. Is there somekind of update for AddBlockPlus?

  • Why can't I access my adsense account from Firefox?

My website is on Firefox. It's getting ads on it from adsense, but I can't access the adsense account from Firefox. I can only get there from Explorer or Chrome. I'm also making almost no money, 87 cents, in several months. I feel that the adsense and the website are not coordinating. Could anyone give me some insight into this. I've spent hours and tried everything I know to work out the situation. Please help. Thanks. Mary Ann

hello mary ann, can you describe in a bit more detail what happens when you try to access the account in firefox (do you receive any error messages or does anything in particular not work?)
regarding the amount of money the adsense account is generating, we cannot help with that since this is a third-party service - you'd have to contact google's support about this issue.

  • Adsense and iWeb 09

When I insert adsense widgets into my iweb pages, how do I link those widgets to my Adsense account?
Currently it just seems to present generic adverts from google and I want to be able to control the content (by using googles Adsense channels component) and obviously get the revenue for displaying those ads.
Does anyone know how to use a pre-existing adsense account with iWeb 09 therefore?

    Hi,
When you tried inserting the Adsense ads did you not get asked to login to your Adsense account?
I just tried it and I did.

I have a six page website I created in Iweb 09 and I have a Google Adsense account as well. I cannot get the Widget to show up on any of the pages when I publish the pages locally or to my domain. Any suggestions or ideas?

I am having the same issue. Mine WAS working but it stopped. Now I just get a blank black box!

  • Adding AdSense and Other Script Based Items to iWeb Websites

For all those who are trying to figure out how to add AdSense and other script based content, here is a tutorial on how to do so. You can see this article with graphics and other niceties on my website:
    http://keylime.ca/adsense%20on%20iweb.html
For now, here is the text-only version.
The following is a simple step by step how-to for adding script based items to iWeb based websites easily and quickly.
First things first, you need a tool to use for finding and replacing text in numerous files quickly and easily. This one works great, and is free:
    http://lonestar.utsa.edu/llee/applescript/simplefindreplace.html
This tutorial will show you how to add AdSense banners--but you could easily add any sort of script based content with the same instructions.
    1. Open your iWeb project.
    2. Click on the Inspector. Click on the Page properties icon.
    3. In the Header Height field, increase it enough to add your AdSense banner. The banners are of various sizes. You should know this value from when you generated your AdSense code.
    4. Add a Text item to your page. Make the text item as large as your banner.
    5. Add a unique string to your text item, such as mywebsitenamegoogleads. It is vital that the text string be unique and not be anywhere else in the page. The string must be the same in each text item on each page you will be adding AdSense banners to. You can center the text, but no not vertically center it. Vertically centering the text will turn the text item into a PNG file as opposed to a document division!
    6. Cmd-Click the text item and drag it into the header. Cmd-Clicking an item allows you to move it into a footer or header.
    7. Repeat steps 1 through 6 for each page you will be adding AdSense banners to. Take note: Once you lay out your page header, you can select all of it, copy, and paste it to each page. iWeb remembers its original position, so you don’t have to move it around!
    8. Publish your site to a folder. It is against the terms and conditions of .mac to have ads on your .mac account, so you will have to put your site on a regular server.
    9. Open Simple Find and Replace.
    10. Drag and drop the folder you published your website to into the target field in Simple Find and Replace.
    11. Put your unique string from step 5 into the Find field.
    12. Put your AdSense code into the Replace field.
    13. Click Start Replacing.
    14. Put your website online. That’s it!
I hope Apple decides to integrate a tool to make this easier!
      Mac OS X (10.4.5)

Should be the same process whether you publish to .Mac or any other host. You're dealing with the same files in either case. Just follow the directions and you'll do just fine! Good luck!
